THE CHEST IS LOCKED!!! - Requires Technic beginner Note well, some chests may have specific requirements to access/open them… so keep an eye out! Clarification: Let's pretend that the thread is titled "Secret Treehouse" and is located the in "Brisshal" sub-forum. The post must specifically state "secret treehouse" AND "Brisshal" while meeting the word requirement and recounting a story on why the player was there.
Mud caked her sandals, the wet earth proving uncooperative for the bard who was presently carving a path through this forest of Brisshal. Only hours ago, her conversation with a craftsman of some repute – likely a non player character by her reckoning – told her he could make her something according to her specifications if she found the right tree for his next series of projects. And so that was what brought her to this present predicament. She was facing the root of the matter, this dark passage which seemed to lead to somewhere. How far was anyone's guess. It could easily be a few meters or a mile, but she braved the uncertainties with a trusty old lamp and marched ahead, each step slow, careful and measured. She could feel the hairs at the back of her neck stand up, but the allure of the unknown was too strong to bear. Nevermind that this wasn't real life, death didn't follow her here and if she couldn't find courage in a fake world, what more the waking one? “Hello? Is anybody here?” she asked, her voice echoing against walls that shouldn't have been here. Peculiar, but should she march ahead alone? She looked back, the sun seemed so bright and inviting outside. Perhaps she ought to find someone else before she put her nose into something she'd rather not endure. Thread Link: http://spherical.link/terrarp/threads/root-of-the-matter.159/
Please reread the rules for this particular chest! None of the requirements (save for the word count) have been met!
