"I do not think it will go to waste. By the end of this trip, I'll be able to finish them off and still have room for a cake" she told to @Rias , watching as she enthusiastically ate the sandwich she gave to her. In the real world, Libitina rarely made meals for herself. She would mostly eat from the cafeteria so homemade meals were something the girl enjoyed a lot. The girl placed her hand over her temples on hearing @Rivers Asteire apologise to her. 'What sort of person in their right minds would apologise over something like that? Besides, I don't mind having teammates. In fact, its more convenient and I need to improve my communication skills' She thought but said nothing to the male. She had a feeling if she clarified him, he would apologise for not getting it right and she did not want another apology from him. "This certainly isn't goo-"She stopped talking when the boat started getting wobbly. She turned to Rivers only for him to tell them to leave. She looked at him as though he was crazy but refused to let go of the boat. That was her only life line. Unfortunately, her life line didn't do much to save her since the boat tilted. She struggled to stay on the surface, moving her hands and legs, taking in deep breaths, Anything that could save her. She did not fear water, just never learned how to swim. But if she died now, she would gain the fear of it, something she didn't want. Her body slowly started to get tired, until finally, she stopped moving and began sinking down. She felt numb due to the ice cold water. She didn't want to give up though. Her eyes were slightly open as she reached out her hands toward the hazy vision of the water surface. Bubbles formed in the water from the final breath she let out from her lungs.
It was hard to act against the will of the sea as it flipped the boat over and made everyone on it dive inside the water, Rias was lucky to hear Rivers warning them and swim a little bit further from the boat so it wouldn't hit her but after she sank up and caught her breathing she couldn't find her teammates. Then a voice called out to her, her body turning to look behind her to face a huge ship rocking gently from its weight...Rivers was on it so it looked safe but how the hell did they miss something so big?! "Libitina let's make it until there!" She called out starting to swim over however she never got a reply back. "Libitina?..." her eyes scanned around her nervously as she tried keeping her body floating and fighting against the force of the waves whilst trying to find the girl. Something inside the water took her attention, it was a sparkle...something sparkles inside and she focused her vision on it until she realised what it was..."Oh no..." without hesitation the archer took a deep breath in. She dived inside and started moving her hands and feet towards the direction of the half conscious female, she probably didn't know how to swim and of course none of them could have possibly known that. It wasn't long before Rias grabbed her by the hand and pushed her closer to her. In any other situation this scene would be romantic and cute but today...it was a must! to happen. Bringing air inside Libitinas mouth in a kiss Rias would start pulling her up until she would reach over to the ladder of the ship and hold tightly until her party member was feeling good enough to continue on her own.
As he swam to the boat, Rivers couldn't see or hear his friends. The waters were too choppy, everything sounded like splashing. He wished he could see them, but getting to the boat was his best bet for that. Rivers watched in horror as @Libitina Cerin didn't come up from the water. Could she not swim? That was bad. That was really really bad. With these choppy waters, even someone who could swim would likely get pulled under. If she couldn't swim... she was a goner. Luckily, Rivers also saw @Rias dive under the water to get her. That was good on his fake wife for saving his fake sister like that. That'd make things awkward if one of them drowned. Wait... Rias could swim, right? Yeah. Yeah surely. It was around this time that something had asked Rivers to vacate this boat. Well, more so a command to leave. Rivers turned his head to see a ghastly figure. Well, he was seeing half through it. W-wait... was this a g-g-g-ghost? THIS GAME HAD GHOSTS?!?! "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Rivers nearly leapt out of his skin, and fell back onto the boat. Oh god this was bad. He had to make sure Rias and Libitina didn't swim over here. He could always jump back into the water and try his luck, but that might be hard for Libitina. "Guys! Pick a different ship!" Unfortunately, the slight rocking of the boat told Rivers that they had swum here after all. Damn. With conviction to keep his friends from getting spooped by a ghost, Rivers got back to his feet and leapt at the ghost. He wasn't expecting anything, but he had to try! Then, Rivers felt himself hit something solid. Wait, what? Ghosts weren't solid. As Rivers and the "ghost" collided with the boat, sending it rocking, Rivers couldn't comprehend what was going. There must be trickery afoot.
Libitina felt relief as her lungs were filled with air but she didn't know what exactly was happening. Until she opened her eyes to see her female teammate giving her CPR. The girl moved away from her and coughed the remaining water out,her hands holding the ladder in a tighter grip. Her face had turned paler than it was, obvious frightened by the near death experience. "Thank you Rias" She thanked the girl before looking up to see Rivers already standing on top of the ship screaming them not to come up. She knew he would have a good reason to stop them from getting onto the ship but honestly, she could not bare another episode of drowning. She climbed to the top of the ladder and entered the ship glancing around to see why exactly the male was trying to stop them. Surrounding them were a bunch of translucent men(who seemed to be pirate ghosts) and they were obviously not pleased with their presence. Well, too bad for them. "Get off of me you insolent human!"The man who was attacked by Rivers screamed in anger as he shoved him aside. "You all! Leave now or else there will be consequences" The male stood up and glared at them. Libitina let out a sigh as she began twisting her hair to drain out the excess water. She did the same thing with her clothes, not minding the hateful eyes that stared at them. After she was left semi soaked, the girl took out her swords and pointed them at the boat's floor. "First of all, We are on this ship because you crashed into our boat. If anything, you are to be sorry for what you did. Second of all, if you force us to leave then your ship will not live another day" She said, watching each and every single one of the ghost pirates with narrowed eyes. The amethyst eyed girl was clearly not in a happy mood.If they were going to throw them off the ship, she would make sure that there would be no ship to stay on. Even with her harsh words and cold expression, if one looked closely, they would notice her legs trembled at what had happened. However, one could also assume that her trembling was caused due to the chilled water they got out of. "look, no one will get hurt if you just let us stay, hopefully give us one of your spare boats and answer a few of our questions" She tried to negotiate right after she took the ship hostage. @Rias @Rivers Asteire
Rias simply nodded at the girl that thanked her and started going up the ladder right after her. Rivers shouted something to them previously but the archer was too busy trying to save Libitina to be listening to the faint noises that were in the background at the time so when they were going up she was basically clueless. Once getting up the whole party was greeted...by a group of dead pirates. Ghost didn't scare her but seeing it being so...realistic Rias would feel a shiver down her spine. Or was it because of her wet clothes? "Ghosts can't harm you...can they?" Rias asked looking at the pirates before she approached them quickly, her skills allowed her to appear behind one in no time. "Watch." She reached her hand out to pass it through the ghost but instead she literally touched...his dead body! "Ah!? E...Eww!" The archer ran back hidding behind Libitina holding her arms and looking over her back. "They are...alive..." Her warning whisper sounded rather creepy especially if that would scare of the female in their party but she would also throw some glaces towards Rivers to see what his next actions would be. Rias herself...decided to stay out of this and avoid the look that pirate gave her.
