  1. Iván didn't know what to say after hearing that Destiny had a boyfriend. She didn't really seem the type, but he guessed that was... nice. Not as nice as the curry he continued to happily eat, not even resenting that it wasn't curry from his own Curry House. It was like that thing about sandwiches, right, where they were always better when someone else made them because your senses got deadened to the smells while you were making it? Iván was like that, but with ant juice. And curry.

He fastened his stinky mask back on just in time to see the descending meteorite overhead exploding into multiple fragments, which began to rain down from the sky like this was the Jurassic period and the Speed Dating restaurant was the time of the dinosaurs.

...Did Ivan have a story to tell? Was Destiny right?

He didn't know, or maybe never had the chance to decide, because a meteorite struck the giraffe-shaped topiary hedge on one side of the restaurant and blew him backwards. Iván held onto his curry bowl as he flew through the air, thinking for some reason about the time he killed Janet in the head with a hammer and the fact that he was about to die. Again. In Speed Dating. By Meteorite.

Maybe not a death worthy of the Purple God. But there was always next time!

  2. Departure from the Lonely Hearts Inn

In one moment, they were being crushed under the unrelenting might of a meteor. In another moment, a thickly muscled bouncer was pushing them all out of the inn, booting these delusional punks out. Yasha, that sexy, ponytailed, MALE host was nowhere to be seen, and all their memories of what had just occured in that weird inn was blurred for some reason.

But...at least their stomachs were full and their veins were 50% alcohol. And some of them even had other boys or girls leaning against them, so....

    Was this a success?

    ...

No, what was more important was that this was OVER.

FINISHED. DONE. CONCLUDED. GOOD NIGHT, YOU SINGLE PUNKS.
