Galadion yawned slightly as he sat at the table inside one of the few ragged remaining inns that could be found on the very outskirt borders of the Esuilus region of the country of Yladia. He looked down at the table to where the food that he had ordered sat, a steak cooked to a perfect medium rare and next to it a delicious cup of wine but why was he here, he was the King of Yladia after all wasn't there a castle or a palace for him to be dining in? Well the answer would probably surprise you but it was no, you see most of the Yladian countryside was a total wasteland and Galadion and his band of elves were slowly exploring out into its wilds. Galadion was actually waiting for someone, an assassin that he had just met not to long ago. He had a job for her and he was hoping that she would be willing to do it for him and that was why the self proclaimed King of Yladia was currently taking up residence inside a worn down and ragged old inn that looked like with one good gust would rip it completely down. He didn't mind though for the passed few weeks he had been doing nothing but camping outside and eating whatever he could hunt down himself, not very kingly he knew but you do what you have to do when you are on the road. Every so often Galadion would find himself looking towards the rickety door of the establishment to see if his guest had entered yet or not, the only trait that he shared with someone of true royalty, a deep hatred of being forced to wait. However @Nagini was an assassin after all so and being punctual wasn't something assassins were known for. With a deep sigh he pushed his chair back onto its hind two legs and balanced himself there gently as he waited.
"So he's got a job for me now? Well, guess it's time to get to work. Now I finally get to start filling out that I.O.U. book I made for Galadion and all the work I imagine he's going to have me running around doing." Nagini began to head out from the bar she was enjoying a drink at, then stopped. I should cloak up, this is a mission. Throwing her black cloak over herself, Nagini again started to leave, but just then a drunk in the back decided to shout at her. "Awwww, come on baby... leaving so soon... how am I gonna watch ya leave with that cloak hiding ya from behind. Girl with a body like yours outta show a little. Hey, I got an idea, how bout you let me buy you a drink then we go back to my place? Wife's outta town! I'll give you the real business doll!" What the hell is he saying? Did he just call me doll! Ah, Hell no. Not today. I've got a reputation to keep. Turning again, Nagini sauntered over to the drunk. "Show me the business..." Nagini whispered into the mans ear as she draped herself over his shoulder. Lifting her leg as if to straddle the drunk's leg, Nagini quickly pulled a knife from her boot and brought it to the drunk's neck. "The only business I care about is my own, and if you were a smart man, which I seriously doubt a filthy piece of garbage like you is, you would mind your own." Pulling the knife away form the man quickly, Nagini grabbed a tuft of hair from the back of the man's head and slammed his face into the bar knocking him out. "HEY! BARTENDER! THIS PIECE OF TRASH IS PAYING FOR MY TAB!" With that, Nagini left and headed out to meet Galadion. Thankfully, it wasn't a long journey to inn and soon, Nagini entered full cloaked (like an assassin should be). Spying Galadion, Nagini walked to his table and quickly sat down and pulled back the hood of her cloak. "Well, what can I say except this is about what I expected." As she spoke, Nagini looked around at the decrepit inn. "I guess it doesn't much matter though, this is where these kinds of deals typically go down. Alright, so what do you got for me?" @Galadion
While Galadion sat there enjoying his meal he listened to the life of the tavern around him, not to far away from him a couple of men were discussing some creature or another that had attacked his livestock. "If was like nothing I had ever seen before, whatever it was gutted my pigs but only ate their heart. If I hadn't seen the claw marks I would have thought they were mutilated for a ritual of Black Magic". While he had to admit the thought of whatever beast might have done something like that, but then again it wasn't exactly his problem to deal with and he was sure some new player or another would come along and gladly offer their assistance in the matter. Reaching down he took his knife and cut another piece off of the steak, he watched as the juices of the meat oozed out ever so slightly which brought a sparkly to his eye. While the tavern itself might have been run down and in disrepair whoever manned the kitchens of the place was a damned master when it came to cooking up a beautiful piece of meat. He brought the bite up to his mouth and bit down on it, the juices filling his mouth, the flavor of the meat almost causing him to moan in pleasure, it definitely was one of the most delicious things that he had eaten during his time in this virtual world. It still amazed him how the creator of this game had managed to put in the taste and texture of a steak into the coding of the game, hell it wasn't just that but the amount of detail that they were able to code into this game was astonishing. There was many a time that he forgot that he was diving into a virtual world created by coding, instead sometimes he thought he was being teleported to a entirely different planet. Shaking his head Galadion forced those thought from his head as he returned his attention back to the tavern and the delicious steak before him. Reaching down he took his glass of wine in his grasp and brought it to his lips allowing the red liquid to pour into his mouth, the flavor filling his mouth and overpowering everything else. It was a delicious red wine, in the real world he never would have thought of drinking wine but here, in this world he was royalty or at least he would be a real royal someday and royals drank wine right? It was at this point that the companion that he had been waiting for made their appearance. Lifting his head Galadion allowed his silver optics to land upon the hooded assassin that he had hired, she seemed to stick to the role that she was playing just as hard as he was with his own role as a King but it mattered not. Now it was the time for business "I am looking for a Player who goes by the name of Lucia Mierz, have you heard of her?"
"Lucia Mierz? The Necromancer? Ah, crap. Look, I think I'm pretty good at my job, and there's some dead guys who would probably agree with me but it's important to see the full picture. I've heard of other assassins that take whatever job is given to them as long as it pays and they don't look so good. In the head or body I mean." Nagiri looked up to the barkeep and motioned to him while shouting. "HEY! BEER OVER HERE WHEN YOU GET A SECOND!" Turning back to @Galadion she continued. "What was I saying? Oh, yeah. So she's got hordes of undead and from what I hear, even without all that she's really good with the old black magic. More of a necromancer than a witch though, I mean ya gotta have a broom to be a witch right? Whatever the case, if the job is killing this necromancer, I'm afraid it's a bit beyond me at this point. Now, you want to mess with her? Tear her down a bit? Spread some rumors and let some paladin types hunt her. That I can do, as long as she doesn't know it was me. I don't like being woken up by skeletons and zombies at my door. Not the Thriller type if you get me." The barman brought a beer and set it in front of her. She took a long drink from her mug then sit it down. "Crap, I'm kind of getting ahead of myself aren't I? You haven't asked me to kill her yet. Only if I know her. Though to be fair, when people ask me that it's usually followed up with a, "I want you to kill them". Cest la vie..., alright well let's got on with this then. To answer your question, no. I don't know her. But yes, I have heard of her." Nagini took another sip from her mug.
As Galdadion sat there listening to the rambling of the female assassin that say across the table from him, did she always jump to conclusions like that? Although I suppose it was a pretty easy conclusion to jump to, he had employed her as an assassin after all and here he was asking her about another player so he guessed he could see where she would get the idea that he wanted her to kill the player in question. But something that she had said and peaked his interested, she had called Lucia a necromancer which meant that while she may not have known the player herself she was at least familiar with her reputation. Leaning forward he brought his elbows onto the table and interlocked his fingers as he looked into her eyes and nodded his head ever so slightly, he didn't exactly need her to be very familiar with the player herself for his purposes as he shook his head. "I don't want you to kill her, I need to locate her", leaning back in his chair he looked up towards the ceiling, "From the information that I have been able to gather on her, it seems like she is the only player in this world that has the necessary skill level needed to break this stupid curse that Majolica has placed upon us" Bringing his attention back to the female sitting across the table from his, a serious look upon his face "I need to know where she is, I want to hire her to break the Questing Curse for us, that is the job I have for you today", reaching forward he grabbed his glass of wine and brought it to his lips allowing the red liquid to fill his mouth while he waited for the assassin to give her answer.
