  1. Darkness was cool and calming, well usually that was the case. If he closed his eyes this was the realm that he would be transported in. No, this darkness was different than the typical darkness that he was used to. This darkness wasn't cool and calming, if anything this darkness held a sense of emptiness within it. It was a sense of the unknown, something that could be molded and made into something. It wasn't the same, yet it felt similar. 'Had something gone wrong?' It was a small side thought that echoed through the subconscious space. Was this how it was suppose to be? He was no longer just sitting-- sinking-- within the darkness, no something else was happening. He was floating, not quite submerged but floating along as if he was on a life-supporting line. Where was he going?

Soon the darkness would dissipate and he would appear within an empty, gray type of room. It was a scale up from the endless darkness, well one would think. Though he had somewhat come to like the darkness. Yet he wasn't alone at all. Well that was odd. In front of him was a copy of himself, except one major thing was different-- this copy was completely nude say for a pair of black underwear. Well this was interesting, he didn't exactly expect to see a double of himself here. Could he just go back to the darkness? No this wasn't what he had set out to do. "Now what am I suppose ta do with ya" he couldn't help but speak to the copy as if it would reply back.

He would step forward so that he was in front of it, its eyes were closed. A sigh would leave his lips. What was he suppose to do in an empty room faced only with a copy of himself? Well it was sitting on a chair, a wooden chair with a decent backing to it. His foot would shoot out to strike one of the legs of the chair in slight frustration. Part of him wanted to see how strong the thing was when the other part of him wasn't even thinking at all. The chair would seem to sway slightly, the copy of himself seeming to go along with it. The chair could easily be broken with a few calculated strikes. "Let's see what ya made of" he couldn't help but talk to the chair as if he was challenging it. His next kick was a nice roundhouse kick that would propel the copy forward.

This kick had not only server to move the copy of himself, but it had server to get his goal completed. The leg of the chair was laying upon what he assumed to be the floor of this internal room. He leaned down and picked it up, being careful to not injure himself upon getting the thing into his hands. He would pause looking at the chair leg before looking at he copy of himself lying butt up upon the ground. The thing didn't move, it was as if it held no life in it at all. With that he actually knew what he was meant to do. He bent down to jerk the thing upright and went to straddle it. A motion that might not have made sense to anyone else, but to him it helped to spark an idea. Biting and chewing upon his lip, he looked upon the thing he was straddling. Soon he began to work upon changing the thing by way of slashing the chair leg against the surprisingly clay-like surface before him.

As he worked upon the copy it was as if a part of him was being poured within the thing and giving it life. He was absorbed with the task so he didn't realize that the shape was changing more than where he slashed and poked the chair leg into it. Soon he stepped back to admire the remarkable different thing before him. Hair now longer, ears pointy and the overall form more lean than prior. The eyes were still closed and this caused him to step forward and stab the thing as hard as he could. Unbeknownst to him the action actually causing his own crimson blood to bubble forward from his hand. He must have gripped the chair leg too hard, but he didn't feel it at all. Blood dribbled upon what used to be the copy and eyes would open. The crimson of the blood going into the pupil of the eye and that was when the room would begin to fade away. He didn't fight it, he was excited to see what awaited him.....

A light could be seen, shining brightly. Someone turn out the light, it was too bright. Though with a small groan he would open his eyes. Light shined fully into crimson hues now turning the red colour much paler. Silver locks cascaded behind him spread against the grassy landscape behind him. There was a slight pain within his backside, but he wasn't too sure if it was from lying here too long or perhaps he had fallen into this position. It was nice though and the pain was hardly anything he could feel. It was a dull ache that was only annoying allowing itself to be known by him. There was a slight breeze, and despite it being almost unpleasantly warm under the radiating sunlight-- it made it pleasant. He forced himself to sit up and look around the landscape. He seemed to be alone within a grassy meadow. He could see slight hill like structures towering above him and to the South he could see towering trees.

Shade, it would be nice to find shade. It didn't seem he was directly upon one of the the many hills. If anything he would say that he was at some meadow before one would reach the many hills that towered above him. As he moved to stand up a single ribbon would come floating down beside him. It seemed the ribbon had been what what held his long silver locks into place. He would move to quickly grab the ribbon with slight grace. It would be better to have it tied than to try to go about keeping the locks untamed. He would take the black ribbon within his hands and bring them up to tie the locks into a ponytail. However some of the strands would hand loosely to frame his face.

"My best bet would be to head towards the shade. From there who knows what I might find." He couldn't help but speak out-loud to himself his tone almost showing a rather greedy sense of excitement. He couldn't feel anyone around him, though it didn't exactly mean that someone wasn't watching him. So off towards the forest he would head. His crimson eyes scanning the landscape and making an internal map for safekeeping. He didn't know what he might find there. All seemed to be going well for him on his journey towards the forest area. He could hear the rustling, though at first he didn't know if it was from the breeze or some creature. He kept to a straight path and didn't stray-- though part of him already was curious of what might be waiting for him should he do so. This straight path soon leading him into the forest.

  2. The day had run like any other. She had spent a good portion of it on her studies, done a little shopping, and taken a shower before heading to work. She had finished her shift and walked the few blocks home. Tossing her bag on the sofa as she stepped through her living room, she had made her way to the kitchen, poured herself a glass of milk and gone to sit at her computer desk. After booting the computer up, she had opened her emails to check and see if she had gotten any responses from her professors. She found nothing from them, which, at this point was a good sign, seeing as she had turned her term papers for two of her courses in just the day before. “No news is good news.” She had mused out loud, as she moved her mouse pointer to click the link that would log her out of her email.

Just as she had been about to click the logout link, her right pointer finger had stopped just above the button on the mouse, though. She had just caught the change in her screen as a new email had come in. The subject line was riddled with odd symbols. Raising a brow as her curiosity got the best of her, she had clicked to open the unknown message. ~Welcome, you have been invited to be a part of Terrasphere. Open this email in your VR adapter to download and install the client. For your personal safety, do not post about Terasphere on social media or admit to connecting to our server online.~ “For my personal safety? Well, that doesn't sound ominous at all.” She said to herself, as she proceeded to log out of her email.

Standing from her seat at her desk, she had made her way up the stairs of her small apartment to her bedroom, intending to sleep, though that did not wind up being the case. As she stepped into her bedroom, her blue hues landed on her VR gear laying across the room from her bed. It had been some time since she had actually taken the time to allow herself the pleasure of a relaxing game or new experience. She was off tomorrow, too, so why not? This was the process of her thoughts as she stepped over to pick up her gear, placing the visor over her eyes and reaching to flip the switch on it, as she moved to lay on her bed. Taking a moment to access her email from the gear she had started the download for the game. It only took a few moments, before she heard the whir of the fans in the visor clicking on and her eyes filled with a bright light, the word TERASPHERE filling her vision in a dark green color.

The brightness of the light lasted for only a few seconds before everything went black. Her optics blinking, slowly to try to adjust to the difference. Through the shifting shadows, she could tell she was in a square room, though it took her a moment to be able to focus. Once her eyes had finally adjusted, she could see before her.....Herself? It was an odd sensation, staring at the un-moving figure; a little unsettling in some ways, but she moved towards the seemingly inanimate thing, anyway. Please prepare to sculpt your character. She heard the sound of the words as they seemed to fill the air around her, and she tilted her head a bit, her red hair falling across her shoulders as she did. It seemed, already, that this game was definitely going to be a new experience. Looking the figure in front of her over, she reached her right hand out and pressed her index finger against its cheek.

As her fingertip touched against the thing's cheek, the 'flesh' seemed to move like clay, and a small smirk lit on the woman's dark pink-tinted lips. “I get it.” She said as she moved her hands to begin pushing her fingers against the face of the figure, her palms sliding against it in places. She stayed silent as she worked, her brow knitting in concentration. After a few moments, she took a step back to look at her work, giving a satisfied nod, before she began to work on the shoulders and arms of the figure. She seemed to become almost lost in her work of reshaping the model of herself. The entire process took what seemed like an hour to her. By the time she finished and stepped back once more to look at her work, the figure looked nothing like her.

It's hair hung in a single ponytail down its left shoulder; it's color a dark, bluish-gray contrasting well with the red tie around it. The figure's eyes were a light hazel green that would have blended perfectly with the mossy bark sometimes found on trees. It's nose was slender, turned up at the end and its cheekbones sat high on its face. Its ears had been elongated and pointed, pushing out from its head, and the frame itself was a bit taller than her own. The clothing it wore on its now more slender; taller frame resembled that of an old-school Dungeons and Dragons rogue, though less bulky and much more maneuverable. The buckles and snaps that ran along the front of the sleeveless trench-like coat holding it closed against the perfectly proportioned chest and down its nearly flat abdomen. The shorts it wore were a dark gray as was the coat. Beneath the coat, she had managed to sculpt a white, sleeveless shirt and she had left the underwear originally on the figure. Satisfied with her work, she simply said “Done.”

As the single word left her lips, she felt a pulse of energy run through her, the sensation almost causing her to lose her breath. The darkness of the room was replaced with bright light, and she had a sensation of falling. Her breath caught in her throat as her body jerked with the sudden motion. She was plummeting, but where to? What exactly was this game going to be like? No sound left her lips as she pondered over the thought; her eyes trying to focus on something that seemed, at this point, to not be there. There was nothing to be seen; nothing to be felt. It was as if she were falling into a bright void in the space around her. At least it felt as such until she felt her body come to a slamming stop.

The sudden stop was unexpected. The impact knocked the air from her lungs and she nearly let out a cry of pain. She felt the stabbing of branches and twigs in her limbs and back as she heard the rustle of leaves and her eyes finally focused once more. Above herself, she could see only green. Beneath herself, she could feel the hard, rough surface of a tree's branch. Rolling, slowly, to her left, she managed to get one hand positioned against the branch to push herself up. Carefully moving, making sure not to slip, she let her hues scan the area she could see around and below her. She had obviously landed in a tree, but what else was near? Where exactly was she?

Pondering over these thoughts for only a moment, she let her eyes travel down, taking note of the slightly large branch below her. The tree was rather large and there were many branches stretching from its trunk below her. Thinking about it for a moment, she slid from the branch she now sat on. Her hands held onto the branch as she lowered herself down to the next one. Her body ached in ways she hadn't known possible as she slowly made her way down, using the tree as a natural ladder. As she reached the last branch she stopped, taking a moment to judge the distance between herself and the ground. It seemed she still had a few feet to go. Taking a deep breath, she flipped from the branch, letting her body plummet to the ground below.

She landed on her feet. That much she was thankful for, but JESUS the realism of this game was already more than she had bargained for. She had taken the realistic setting for pain, too. The bumps and bruises to her body already had her wanting to tear up and the sudden jarring of her frame surely didn't help. She held back the sudden urge to scream, though, as she turned her head to let her light greenish-brown colored hues take in her current surroundings. She was in a forest. That much she could tell, and so far it seemed as if she was alone. As the game had come with no instructions, she could only assume that she had nothing other than her clothing and herself, as well. She also had no idea of the actual purpose of the game, but that was something that could be saved for later to answer.

Taking a deep breath as she looked around, she began to move forward. She wasn't so much knowledgeable on the ways of the woods, so to speak, but she was certain that standing in one spot wasn't going to get her anywhere. She knew enough about surviving to know that would be her best bet. It would definitely be better than standing around here waiting for something to happen; especially in a forest of which she knew nothing of the wildlife or anything else. She could only hope, as she made her way through the trees, her ears twitching to the sound of the leaves beneath her feet, that she would find either another player or a village of some sort before she happened to run into something more sinister than a tall tree.

  3. Woods were woods, they all looked the same no matter what direction he seemed to turn. Well that was comforting. He had just entered this game and he was already off to such a fantastic start. Though it was good, he could care less if he seemed lost-- eventually he would come along another player. His mind already thinking of what he might do to them. What would the other players of this world look like? Would the look like him? More human? Or perhaps something more alien like. He had no idea, it wasn't exactly there was some manual that the game had for those who first stepped into its realm. That only made it more exciting to him.

The path was straight and every so often he would be able to hear the rustling around him. Though nothing sounded like footsteps at all. Though the question was , would he be able to even know if anyone was around him at all? He was so bored, a factor that had come through along with his player. That proneness to boredom came with being intelligent, perhaps it was a downside-- but it just made him want to stray off the path and pick up a stick and poke something. It wasn't a logical thing to do, that was how one got killed within any world-- but where would the fun be if he did everything all safe like.

A soft humming left his lips as he began to allow his long strides to venture deeper into the belly of the forest. The path beginning to become distant behind him, but he would be able to find himself back along the road. He was confident in his knowledge and he already had memorized this woods. Though they all looked the same. No, there was a odd leaf formation near the road and some type of berry tree. At least that is what he assumed to be a berry tree that were the brightest of red that he had ever seen. He made a small mental note to pluck a few of them and to taste them to see if they were as juicy as they seemed. Maybe an move of an idiot, but he couldn't help himself.

He paused something was in the treetop. His eyes would look to the sky as something seemed to fall from the treetops above. Well that looks like fun. To any sane person he might have showed caring or even concern of some sort towards this thing that had fallen-- but he could honestly care less. He was surrounded by the shadows of the trees, his slender frame blending in within it. Although, he wasn't exactly trying to hide or anything. If anything he just wanted to get closer to this person and see what made it tick. Was it male or female? He crept closer to venture to see what type of thing it was. From first glance as the thing got up and looked around it was female. She looked dazed and confused like some sheep just waiting to be manipulated.

This was perfect. A new player more than likely or a player who was just a nutcase. Who knew maybe it was just a case of both. His body would slink forward as she began to move forward. Then he would make himself known, his frame leaning against the nearest tree and watching over her. Crimson eyes watching her every movement. "Nice of you to drop in" a smirk crossing his lips. His expression and tone almost amused, but it was all a front. He was analyzing her, seeing what made her tick. Would she be useful to him? Could he play her as if she was some puppet? She might be some sort of fun for him in the long run.

"I've heard of angels that fell down to Earth. Never thought that I would encounter one. Oh wait, I highly doubt you are an angel." He would walk closer to her, looking as if he wouldn't stop before he came right up to her. Instead of stopping and grabbing her face he would begin to circle around her. They had similar forms, the same slender form and pointy ears. He would circle around her once before going to stop in front of her. His thigh high boots becoming firmly planted on the ground. His smirk having turned into a smile as he made an almost grand bow to her. "Forgive me, I assume that the correct way of conducting myself is asking you of your name. Or should I just call you not so holy angel? Or perhaps just not so holy one." Never once had he given his name. He seemed to slightly bite upon his and chew it between his teeth as if he was thinking of more names in which he could call her. He was having some fun, maybe if anything she could remedy his boredom some. Better yet she might be of some use to him, though those thoughts remained his own for now. As he awaited her reply he could see a small rabbit hopping about behind her.

  4. She had taken a total of two steps when a male voice cut through her thoughts. Immediately, she turned on her heels, her mossy-toned eyes locking onto the source of the sound. Those earthy-toned hues scanned over the frame of the male as he leaned against a tree not too far from her. 'Well you're off to a good start aren't you? How'd you manage to miss him?' she thought to herself as she took in his visage. His tall, slender frame resembled her own slightly shorter one enough, as well as his elongated and pointed ears, resembled her own, that there was no mistaking they shared a race. She took in the silver tones of his hair as well as the smirk on his slightly tinted lips, before her eyes locked onto his crimson hues. The tone of his words had seemed almost amused and the manner in which he seemed to hold himself flat-out came across as arrogant. She wasn't one to let herself hold on to first impressions, though, especially not in a situation like this; one in which some were sure to be getting used to new personalities and types of demeanor they weren't used to, themselves.

There was something more to the look in the male's eyes, also, as her own locked with his. He was studying her. She felt like she might as well be on a slide under a microscope, to be honest, but this wasn't something she was not adjusted to, either, though. Being who she was in the world outside of this game and with the job she had, it was actually a rather normal part of her life. To be fair, she was sure the same look showed in her own eyes, as she looked the male over. Her expression, however, did not change, unlike the male's. No, she made no attempt at all to hide the fact that she was analyzing him. She was curious as to what purpose he might serve. Was he another player? Was he an NPC? He was obviously the same race as her, but that didn't mean he would be an ally. Of course, it also didn't mean that he wouldn't be, either. No, that was left to be seen, and, at the very least, she did know, already, that traveling alone, as a new player, might not be her best bet. Perhaps he would know a bit more of the game than she did.

He was speaking again and she had yet to say a word back. She was certain, at this point, that she was coming off as rude, but that was fine, too. For all he knew she might not even be able to speak. This was something that could work to her advantage if she were to play it right. His words were almost nice if it weren't for that undertone of amusement that almost seemed to border on arrogance. He was interesting. She couldn't deny that fact, but there was always that part of her that wasn't one to trust easily; that part of her that was always on her guard and watching for any sign of what could possibly be trouble. It came with the territory of her work in the real world, and she was sure it would come in handy here, as she watched the male watching her. Yes, at this point she was beginning to believe that feigning ignorance might actually be her best bet, at least until she knew, for sure, what she was facing here. She had no desire to wind up on in a predicament before she at least had a chance to figure out the mechanics of the game. That wouldn't really be fun, at all, would it?

He was moving, now, stepping closer to her, and her eyes were following his movements. He had begun to circle her, almost like a predator stalking its prey, though his words and tone still did not really seem as such. Her mind was still processing over the almost flirtatious words he had spoken, but her guard still had not lowered. She had no intention of letting herself get drawn into such flattery and fussiness. It simply wasn't her manner. She still did not speak. She was going to enjoy everything she possibly could about this game, and that started with learning and enjoying her own character, right? She would play things the way she wanted, and right now, she didn't want to let this new person know she could speak. She wanted him to think she was mute. She wanted to see how he would handle the situation; what he would think of it and how he would react. No, she wasn't always one to let first impressions be lasting, but there was a lot you could learn about a person in a few moments time, with the right set up and circumstances.

As he stopped in front of her, her eyes locked on his once more and she tilted her head as she watched the smirk on his lips stretch into an actual smile. His frame bent at the waist as he bowed, and she bit against her bottom lip as she heard him ask her name. The way her eyelids fluttered almost closed and she let her head lower just slightly would have been enough for most people, but she could tell this one was intelligent. She didn't want him seeing past her facade so soon, but she managed to add a blush to her cheeks. Embarrassment was the emotion that seemed to show on her face, and her shoulders slumped, slightly, with what would appear to be a touch of sadness. It was a facade, of course. She still had not said a word. She needed him to believe something was wrong, that something had her feeling this way if she was going to pull off this ruse of hers.

She was watching him as she gave her reaction; waiting for him to speak again, to ask why she hadn't or what was wrong. She was enjoying this time to play this game within a game. It wasn't often that she got to let this side of herself out to play. It wasn't often that she got to show the true reach of her intelligence, nor the more, well, dark side of herself that she usually kept hidden. It was the part of herself that was enjoying even the possibility of where this could lead. Her thoughts were cut short, though, as she heard a slight noise behind her. At the same time, her eyes caught his own glance from her form. It was just a split second, and she was sure she hadn't been meant to catch to the motion. She had, none the less, and she turned, swiftly, her body relaxing some, as she noticed the rabbit hopping behind her. She watched the small creature for a moment, before turning back to look at the male, biting against her bottom lip once more, as she took on that same embarrassed, almost shy look once more.

  5. He had asked for her name, however that much information hadn't been given to him. Was she perhaps more intelligent than she was letting off? Or perhaps she was as he had thought before, a simple nutcase. Both were likely at this point. Hell, maybe she was some part of this game and he couldn't simply play and manipulate her. No he highly doubted that last part. He knew enough about every book, show, movie, hell even game to know that there was always something behind the quiet ones. 'Perhaps she can't talk', a decent thought if he wasn't one step ahead of this one. He couldn't tell why he thought that thought to be a fake, perhaps call it a gut feeling.

Though still she didn't speak. She simply was acting as if she was embarrassed. Yeah, that was what she was acting like. He saw the way she bit against her bottom lip, her overall appearance shy and blushing. There was always a way to make someone crack, always a way to get under their skin and twist the metaphorical knife in deeper and deeper. How did one tell if one was mute? Now that was an interesting case all together. One could tell if a person was blind just simply by the look of their eyes. Their pupil would almost appear milky rather than the typical look. If that failed then it would simply go into a test. Then again a person could lie and be able to feel the person around them. A lose of a sense would mean an enhancement of another. So if sight was lost than naturally that person would be able to hear and smell extremely well.

What about a person who had lost their ability to hear. Testing them would be faintly harder due to the ability to read lips. Though he was the type of cruel person who would purposely try to spook said person and using said disability to his advantage. Plus it would allow him to see if they could hear or not. Now should she actually be a mute , how would be the best way to test her. Her hearing and sight would be fine, she wouldn't be able talk. She wouldn't be able to scream. Her mouth would open up but no sound would come out if he were to say hurt her somehow. Or perhaps he could use some of the wild beasties to help him out. Should she be attacked, he would simply sit back and watch the show. He doubted he would be any help to her anyways--- that would be what he would tell her as he came in for the hero bit once she made that lovely sound. It would be like music to his ears.

He bet that she had quite a lovely scream, given if she wasn't a mute. It seemed like he was lost in thought and in a way he was. He was going over the knowledge in his hear, the knowledge that he as a player would know. Sure he didn't know shit about this world, but there had to be beasties roaming about. It couldn't just be nice things like bunnies, this world had to have predators. Or maybe the bunny turned into a blood thirsty beast. His mind had started to imagine it. She could go towards the bunny and wish to pet it. That is what girls did right? Girls liked bunnies and cute lil shits like that and wanted to try to pet and love on them-- or he could be completely wrong. Though in his fantasy of her and the bunny, she would go towards the bunny and when she least expected it the bunny would turn from cute and fluffy to big and deadly.

The same tune that he had begun humming upon venturing deeper into the forest would begin to leave his lips once more. Rather or not she believed that he didn't care or perhaps that he was ignoring her -- well he could care less. He kept an almost carefree air to him, though underlaying was the arrogant side of him. He was better than her. Hell he was better than anyone in this place. He would prove it too! His crimson eyes would take her in once more as he seemed to move along the forest floor. "What did you forget how to use your words when you fell. That is a new one! Someone becoming a mute just because she fell from the treetops. What did you think you could fly, lil one." He had gone to bend down once more and pick up a stick.

What he assumed to be fuzzy leaves were floating down from the treetops. Maybe it was some kind of fruit or some kind of plant life or it was something that was deadly. Whatever the hell it was, he decided he was going to play around with it a little bit. He would take the newly picked up stick and slash it around him as if he was trying to slay something with a sword. Except well it wasn't so polished as if that was the case, after all it was only a stick. He was slashing at the air where the fuzzy white things were. "Get away you evil fiend!" He could possibly just looked stupid doing this. Would she buy into this.

Once the 'evil fiends' had completely fallen to the ground he seemed to turn around and beam at her. "You're safe" like hell was she safe in this world. There were actually evil fiends around, they just hadn't found them. They were in a forest area, other players were probably around not to mention wild animals. There had to be more than just bunnies here. He had moved closer to her, that is when he saw it the slightly off part about her. Most likely from where she fell , if he had to guess. He would jab the stick into her as hard as he could. Regardless if she was actually hurt or not, it had to hurt. Though no one could fall from the trees and not be hurt some. "Ooops my hand slipped. Though do tell me your name, unless in the case you can't. I will gladly come up with one for you." He smirked, his mask already quickly peeling away. Right because he couldn't help himself and he was bored, not to mention he wasn't used to this all yet. He had only just entered the game, he needed time to fine-tune things. "Oh I know I'll call you Heidi!" He spoke with such delight. It was if said idea was being spoken as some brilliant light bulb declaration.

  6. Her ears twitched as she heard the male begin humming. She could see the change in the light of his eyes as he studied her. He was trying to work out her angle. Trying to figure out if she was legit or not. She wasn't fully certain why she felt that was the case, but she was sure it was. Small things had seemed to shift in the male as well. He seemed more carefree, almost as if he were enjoying the interactions, or lack thereof, as he continued to move. His voice filled the space between them once more, and she shook her head at him, giving him a shrug, her palms up as she heard him ask, albeit almost sarcastically if she thought she could fly. Her mossy-toned hues were following his movements easily as he bent down and picked up a stick from the ground at his feet, and she tilted her head at him, wondering just what sort of plan he had working in his already, seemingly, intelligent mind.

As she watched him, he began to swat the stick through the air above and around him, seeming to be trying to 'attack' the fuzzy leaf-like particles that were falling from the trees above them. It was an almost comical display the way he waved the stick around and she couldn't help but grin as her hues followed his movements. Did he even realize how silly he looked? Her silent question was soon answered as she heard him shout out at the fuzzy white things. Oh, he definitely knew what he was doing, and she had a feeling that what he was doing was trying to get her to laugh. To be honest, he was lucky he had gotten her to even smile. It wasn't something that was 'normal' in the makeup of her character. She could feel that in the depths of her mind, but who wouldn't at least crack a grin at his currently comical behavior. As he turned to look at her, she tilted her head and shook it, slowly, even with the beaming smile he gave her.

'You're safe'. He had said as if the falling particles had actually been a threat. No, she was more so wondering just what his own angle might be and rather she might be able to allow herself to trust him enough to even try to get him to travel with her. Aside from that, SAFETY in this world, she was sure, was a joke. Especially for unarmed, unarmored newbie players, like herself. Her thoughts were interrupted as he moved closer to her. She caught the movement of his hand as he reached the stick out to her, and she blinked, slowly. The sudden burst of pain that ran through her leg as he poked at it with his damned stick almost caused her to lose her grip on her current ruse of muteness. However, she managed to keep herself silent, though her brow did knit with pain, as she turned her head to look down at her leg.

She hadn't even noticed the gash in her shin until he had poked it. Sure, she felt the aches and pains in her body from her fall, but she hadn't registered that she was actually injured to the point of bleeding. Raising a brow as her mouth fell open and the intake of breath from the new, sudden pain caused a slight rasping sound to leave her throat, she turned to look back at the male. She heard the excuse of his hand slipping, and her face fell into an almost angered look, though she recovered quickly enough; managing to get her face back into an expression that was more so confusion than anything. He was starting to act oddly again. It was quite obvious that he had poked at the wound on purpose, but why try to lie it off. Was he one of those who felt the need to explain away his actions with such things as lies or was he truly just trying to push her buttons? As he spoke again, her thoughts wavered.

'Heidi?' He wanted to call her Heidi? Shaking her head, vigorously, She looked at him for a moment, before her eyes lit up; her face taking on an expression as if she had gotten a grand idea. She then reached her right hand down, running her index finger through the blood on her leg, before reaching her left hand out to grab his arm. Pushing his sleeve up and out of the way she began to use her bloody index finger to write along the flesh of his arm. L-O-R-E-L-E-I, before she stepped back and began to look around. She was becoming restless, bored, in a manner, and she was eager to figure out just what they were meant to be doing and where they needed to go.

Turning her brownish-green hues back to him, she pointed her finger at his arm and then back to herself; nodding. Giving him a moment to think of what she was trying to say, she tilted her head, before she pointed to him, raising a brow as if curious. She wanted to know his name, and she could only hope he would give it since he now knew hers. She waited a few moments, as she glanced around, waiting for him to respond, before she waved her hand at him as if to ask him to follow her, and she looked up towards the sky for a moment, before turning in a direction that would lead to the right of the sun's current position, hoping that she was right and it would be a Northern path. North was the way they always said to go, to find civilization, was it not?

  7. Still she insisted on playing this mute styled game. It was enough to make him want to growl out in frustration-- but he didn't. He kept a pretty smile plastered on his face. What the hell was she doing? His crimson eyes had watched as she had taken her right hand and run her index finger along the blood of her leg. What did she intend to do with that bloody finger. Well him being the type of person he was could think of many ideas of what he would do with a bloody finger like that. Though how sadistic did he want to go about being with the pretty little thing. Then just like that he figured out what she was going to do with that bloody index finger of hers.

She had gone to grab his arm and pull his sleeve up and used the blood to spell out something upon his forearm. He couldn't help the slight growl that left his lips at being touched. Damn, did he hate being touched. There was something about it that made his blood boil. It wasn't so much a fact that he hated germs or something, but it was more because he hated anyone just grabbing him at random. Grabbing lead to people trying to take control and well he wasn't one for anything submissive like. He loved being in control, being the predator rather than the prey. That was what it could come to be if he allowed her the smallest of an inch and let her believe it was okay to touch him so easily.

This part of his make up might have had to do with just who he was as the player. He wouldn't become that person here. Here he could be the predator rather than the prey. Those thoughts were the one that seemed to run through his head even as his crimson eyes took in the bloody writing upon his arm. Lorelei. He could have guessed and guessed, but he would have never thought of that name for the pretty little fake mute. Yes, he didn't think that she was mute. He had to hand it to her, she was good. She had kept this act going rather well. Though there were always flaws in everything and he would find it. She hadn't yelled at him or screamed or done anything. Damn was she a good actress, but every wall could be broken through. He only knew it because he was a damn good actor himself.

The way she tilted her head at him, curious like, she was waiting for him. Waiting to see if he would disclose his name to her. Then she was waving her hand at him as if asking for him to follow her. He stayed where he was even though she turned in the direction of the North. Now North would have been a good place to go should he had not known of the path. Though would he be nice and disclose it or continue to the uncharted forest area that was off the path. He had ventured off the path because he had been bored. Hell, he was still bored. She was amusing to say the least, but one could only be so amusing when they didn't speak.

He brought his arm up to his lips and licked her blood off of him. The metal like taste filling his lips. He had heard multiple times that it was bad to drink the blood of another, especially if they knew nothing of said person. Though living on the edge was better than being so bored. So what if she had some sort of disease. No he doubted any new player would actually give themselves some disease. The only thing she had for sure was idiocy. He wouldn't catch something like that from drinking her blood so he licked up the blood without a care in the world. Once he was done he pulled the sleeve back down to cover his arm once more.

"What are you doing?" He had decided to humour her and follow the girl. Would she even be worth having around? Now her acting skills might come in handy. She would be a good remedy to his boredom. Though he found something odd. He had glanced about before deciding to follow her and that rabbit he had noticed prior was still there. Its beady little eyes watching them, it wasn't moving just watching. Normal rabbits moved at the slightest movement, they were timid little creatures-- at least in the real world. He let in a deep sigh as he used his long strides to easily get in front of her. He reached out and grabbed her by her shoulders. They would see how she enjoyed being grabbed in any sort of way.

His crimson eyes looking into eyes that were like moss. Just how did she create her character, did she go and find grass and `shove that and the dirt onto the clay dummy. "You're going the wrong way. Sure we can head that way all you want." He moved and moved to almost make a dramatic gesture with his arms, spreading them out wide. "Though surely the little fake mute girl knows most about direction. She thinks she can fly, so she also assume she has the best direction skills. I bet you didn't even take a chance to analyze anything about this place. Did you?" He turned to look towards the path she would have chosen to go. All that seemed to go in that path was woods and woods and more woods. He half swore he heard something bashing its head against the tree.

Actually that could be something. He would trail behind her, playing along with it all. Then when she met that source of noise, maybe then she would scream and cower in fear. He stepped aside "Actually you must have seen something when you were trying to fly. Surely the little birdy knows a thing or two about the woods. Be my guest Lollie and do go to the North." He wouldn't tell her about the path. Hell if she was to come across some wild beastie than he would watch from the shadows and laugh as it devoured her. It wasn't like he cared about her. If she lived, then he might just be able to use her. He had kept the stick within his hand. He wondered if the rabbit was still watching or not? Oh well if the lil shit was, it was just some rabbit. He doubted that it would turn into the beast of his memories. Hell if it did, he may try to keep it as an attack rabbit. Was that allow in this game? Who knew. He would just play and live the experience to its fullest. He knew one thing all that matter to him was him. Should she die, he would shrug it off and go back to the path and hum his little song once more. Then he would go on his merry way and find his next victim. Though for now it was her move and he was curious to see what she did next.

  8. She had turned back towards the male to see if he was going to follow her, only to see him taking the time to lick her blood clean from his arm. Her left brow rose in an expression of curiosity, though she showed no actual sign of disgust or even shock. No, the action actually didn't surprise her. From his actions, already, she could sense a sort of dementia and instability to his nature. For her, this wasn't a bad thing. There was a darkness in her own nature that she fully intended to explore, so why not at least try to do so with someone who might appreciate it; though she couldn't help but also wonder just which one of them might be willing to take this little game inside the game of there's the furthest.

It seemed, as she saw him move, that he was going to follow her. She didn't smile at the thought this time, though. No, she simply lowered her brow and turned back towards the path she had chosen. That was until he interrupted her once more. Blinking as she heard him speak, she turned back towards him and tilted her head at his question. Was he really that simple-minded, or could he not tell that she was bored and ready to move on from where they were. She was certain he wasn't, so why ask? Deciding to continue on with her little charade, she gave him a shrug as her mossy-toned hues scanned over him. Her expression shifted to something more of a touch of confusion as she turned back towards the direction she had chosen and then back to him, at this point noticing that he had moved closer to her.

As his hands moved to grab her shoulders, though, she almost lost her hold on her facade of muteness. She barely caught herself in time to stop the gasp of surprise that would have left her throat, though her eyes did widen. It wasn't a frightened or fearful look that she gave him, though. No, her eyes narrowed, quickly, as she reached her hands to grasp at his arms. Her intentions were to pull his grip away from her shoulders, but the instant her eyes locked onto his own crimson hues, she froze. Again, not out of fear or even out of anger. No, her frame seemed to relax in his grip as her eyes widened to a more normal state. It was the way he looked at her.

The tone of his voice had been and still was rather arrogant, sarcastic even, as he spoke again. His actions were blatantly, openly rude at the moment, even, but his eyes. In that split moment, his eyes held a genuine curiosity that almost seemed out of character, so to speak. As he released her shoulders, she took a step back from him, shaking her head, slowly, as he spoke once more and she let his words sink in. So he did know she was faking her affliction, or at least he suspected such. If that was the case, why had he waited until now to say something? Should she break her little ruse now, or try to continue on with her game? No, it would be an insult to his own intelligence, if she tried to play any longer, and that wasn't what she was after at all.

Hearing him speak of her analyzing the place, she turned her head, slowly, not yet bothering to answer him. He was right, of course, she hadn't bothered, in her attempt to get down from the treetops. Why should she have? It would only have taken away part of the mystery of the game's adventure. As she looked around at the trees surrounding them, she could hear a few noises echoing from deeper in the forest. No doubt there were animals and possibly more out there, waiting to make a meal of the two of them or whoever else might come their way. It was a game, though. Surely it wouldn't be so bad to head off into the unknown and find out what lurked behind trees and in the shadows. Then again, she could be wrong, as well.

Turning her attention back to him, as he spoke once more, she let out a short sigh, her shoulders slumping a bit, as she bit against her bottom lip. “Well, that was anticlimactic. I was hoping it would take you a bit longer to figure things out, at least.” Her eyes widened a bit as she heard her own voice for the first time. The tones were melodic, pure, almost lyrical. With the personality she could sense she possessed, it was definitely unexpected. Rolling her eyes, slightly, she looked back towards the trees behind her, before letting her attention be drawn back towards him. “I'm going to look for trouble, what else would I be doing?” She said, a light almost devilish chuckle leaving her lips. “What's your name, anyway, and what do you actually know about this game?”

Sadly, she didn't get a chance to wait for him to possibly answer her. The reason? Well, though she had taken note of the fact that the seemingly timid rabbit they had noticed before hadn't moved, what she hadn't expected was the next course of events. Everything happened so fast that for a split second she wasn't even sure it was happening, but she sure had a new perspective on how this game could be. The fuzzy, supposedly harmless thing suddenly moved, a motion she only caught in her peripheral vision, but that was enough to spark something; rather it was something in her character subconscious or something in the makeup of the game itself she didn't know.

Her body seemed to move of its own accord as the rabbit sudden lunged, a growl--A FUCKING GROWL!--coming from the creature as if it should have been some sort of rabid cat or dog. She barely had time to register even that thought, though, before she was moving, her body twisting into a sort of cartwheel-kick that landed her left foot into the thing's side and sent it sprawling back towards the spot it had lunged from. Her eyes immediately turned to look back at the male, blinking in surprise, though she had only a second to wonder what the male would do or how he would react to anything before the damned thing was lunging for them again.

  9. Well she hadn't exactly reacted to his little nickname for her, Lollie. Though she had seemed to hate being called Heidi. He knew he still hadn't provided a name to her and honestly he didn't care either. He was just along for the ride, he wondered if she was even worthy learning his name to begin with. She was treating him as if he was stupid person who couldn't see through such a simple little facade. Though he was smarter than that and if she wished to insult his intelligent than he wouldn't humour her with his name either. He had to wonder what the hell was wrong with the rabbit. It was a puzzle for his mind as the time went by. Than she was sighing and than a voice. She was speaking, fucking finally!

Her voice was flowing and almost lyrical, it was better than the moss for eyes she housed. Some might think that the colour of moss was pretty, but he honestly didn't see some strange appeal to her eye colour. A devilish chuckle, well than she might actually not be so boring after all. There she was asking him for his name and if he knew anything about this game. It didn't take some genius to conclude the basis of this game they had signed on for. Though one question actually did go through his mind with those words. If one died in this game would the game reset or would said person actually die. Surely it wasn't a game like the latter , but oh that would be excited! A true game of survival topped with evil beasties. It was much better than camping in the real world.

He didn't have a chance to speak because that little timid rabbit was back. He could hear the rustling and then within seconds it was growling and lunging forward. "Well look at that isn't it the cutest damn thing!" A almost wicked crazed cackle left his lips at that. Who would have thought that the damn thing actually would turn into some rabid beastie. He was watching her movements, the way her body twisted into a sort of cartwheel-kick and the thing went flying. Though he didn't move to protect her, he just held his stick and watch. His crimson eyes sparkled as he watched it.There were a few things that could happen with the rabbit. It could be killed for food, tamed as a pet, somehow stop trying to come after them or it could simply eat the mossy Lollie. Personally he would sooner keep it as a pet after watching it kill or at least take a chunk out of the girl.

"I wonder if it will jump for if I poke it with my stick!" A thought out loud as he moved forward, what seemed to be a stupid move actually. His long strides easily getting in front of the thing that was lying in a clump. "Surely that wasn't enough to take you out. Come on! You can do better than that!" He was speaking to the rabbit as he jabbed the stick into the black rabbit's side. The thing growled at him which only made him poke it harder. "Now now don't growl at me." It turned and little beady eyes were glaring at him and its teeth went to snap at his prized stick. He growled himself "now that wasn't nice!" He thrashed his stick down at it and he hit it. A smirk was held on his lips as it growled once more. It tried to lunge at him, but he stepped to the side and the thing went going right back towards Lorelei.

"See I think you were looking for trouble" he spoke as his hand shot out to grab the thing and held it a good distance away from him. Clearly he had no concern for anyone's life not even him own-- well so it seemed. He was analyzing the rabbit as it trashed about in his hand. He didn't let the thing go at all, simply walking with it watching as it swayed about. It was growling at him, but he took an odd amusement in watching it try to get free. "I think I like the little spunky bunny. I'll call it Trouble! He even likes you" he chuckled slightly still holding the thing by the back of its neck. Honestly, he was having fun with it. Rather or not he actually saw lasting use in the thing was yet to be seen still. Though for now he would keep it like he had it.

"Camus. That is my name. Camus Varic. Also what ever made you think that I wouldn't easily catch on to your little act?" Now that was such a grand name. He used his hand to speak and gestured towards her with the rabbit. Its eyes watching her and growling once more at her. The thing was crazed for sure and he only liked it more! The thing was trying to sway towards her once more. "See he likes you, Lollie. Though as for you path of choice, if you wish to keep going that way we can. Could actually be interesting. I wonder what else we might find along the way. So ya wanna lead the way or should Trouble and I do so?"

  10. Cute? He found the damned rabbit to be cute? She shook her head as she found her footing once more. She wasn't certain what had just happened, but it had felt.. Right.. Somehow. She watched him as he stood there with his stick. He not so much as a move to try to help, but she had noticed the way he watched. Those studious red eyes were observing everything that happened, and she was certain he hadn't missed a single motion or occurrence. More so than that, though, was the fact that he showed not a bit of fear. It was impressive to her, but she showed no signs of such, as she raised a brow at him and listened to his next words.

He wanted to poke the clearly abnormal little beast. In truth, she couldn't say she blamed him, but at the same time, she had to wonder for the consequences. Sure, it was a small creature, seemingly rather harmless, but what exactly did they know of it? It was a very quick animal and rabbits even in the real world came armed with claws that could scratch nearly as bad as a cat's. Neither of them had to this point seen its teeth, either. How far had it evolved? Did it run alone or with a pack? What exactly were the differences between what they knew and this game's interpretation of the creature? They both, in her mind, seemed interested in analyzing the creature. However, to her, he seemed like a miscreant child, and she wanted to analyze the thing from a scientific standpoint. The difference in thought processes was amazing to her, especially for something simulated as their minds technically were to a point.

She watched him as he stepped over to the black-furred beast, his hand reaching out to poke at it with the stick he carried. The growl that left the creature's throat showed that it clearly was not happy with the action, but it didn't lunge at him. Had her single kick really stunned it so badly? She couldn't stop the curious run of her thoughts as she watched the male's interactions with the creature. He continued to speak to it as if it could truly understand him, as he poked harder at the thing, and she showed no surprise as it snapped at his stick. However, as he smacked the bashed the stick down on the creature and it lunged once more, she moved to sidestep as she saw him do the same. She wasn't going to chance getting a blast of rabid rabbit to the face.

She need not have worried, though. The male had snaked his hand out quickly enough to grab the small critter, and she watched as he held it out away from himself. She was beginning to wonder if he was completely mad; not that she would have minded if he were. She watched him as he walked with the snarling beast. Its body swayed back and forth as the male moved, and it thrashed as if it couldn't wait to get its claws on something; probably her, probably because she had kicked it. It did keep eyeballing her as if it actually knew and remembered that she had been the one. She turned her mossy-tone hues back to the male as he spoke, a rather un-amused smirk on her lips, as she shook her head. “And just how do you plan on keeping the 'spunky bunny' from murdering you at some point?” She asked him as she shook her head.

Stepping over to him, she looked the little creature over, before reaching her hands out, only to grasp the wiggling thing's face and pull its lips apart so that she could view its teeth. “This thing's equipped as a carnivore.” She said with a bit of amusement and appreciation in her voice. As she did so, she heard the male speak, and she stepped back to look at him once more. “I simply wanted to be certain of what sort of entertainment you were going to be, Camus; intelligent conversation or simply another soul to toy with.” She said, her voice flowing through the air between them with those lyrical tones, though her mossy-hues showed nothing but dark honesty. The rabbit was growling at her again, and she reached over to thump the end of its nose, smirking as it lashed its paws towards her.

“Trouble seems a good name for it.” She said as she looked back up towards the male. “As for what path to take, I don't care. However, I have nothing more than you see here and no idea of what I'm doing, so I suppose finding a civilization would be best.” She said as she looked over at the male. She spoke mater of factually and she showed no true signs of interest in him, aside from her willingness to travel with him. “I take it, from your answers, though, that you know little more than I do about the mechanics of this game, though, Cammy?” She asked him. Hell, if he was going to insist on calling her Lolli, she was going to return the favor, though she suspected he wouldn't accept it as gracefully, and the thought caused her to give that wicked, almost devilish grin once more, as she watched the rabbit thrashing around in his grip again.

  11. How did he plan on keeping the 'spunky bunny' from murdering him? That had been the question that she had asked him upon many other things she had said upon him catching the thing. Well it wasn't like he could go around and actually say he knew what the hell he was doing-- that was part of the fun after all. Though she didn't have to know that he didn't have some kind of plan. The girl did seem smarter now that she was speaking, but would she be able to see through things? Hm, that was a good question to say the least.. How should he keep the bunny from murdering him. He could teach it who was boss, that was what worked in the real world. Normally this technique would be used for things like training dogs who didn't want to behave. It was a type of show the thing who was the alpha. Rabbits weren't meant to be so savage, but that is what sparked his interesting to say the least.

His crimson eyes analyzed her as she went to pull the thing's lips apart to show the teeth. Equipped like a carnivore for sure, he didn't need her to state such things to know it to be true. Wasn't there some story about a vampire bunny? Bunnicula, yeah that was what it was call. Though he doubted that their fuzz little Trouble could be in the same category as some odd bunny character. This game surely wouldn't have something like that within it, but savage rabbits wouldn't be so uncalled for. Anything could become a predator with the right type of environment. The place looked peaceful but it was just the two of them, it seemed odd. What if others were out there watching them? Actually he looked forward to meeting others, he welcomed the challenge,

He raised an eyebrow when she continued to speak about what sort of entertainment he might provide her with. One thing stuck out to him and that would be 'simply another soul to toy with.' Oh, so she enjoyed playing these games, these so called little dances. Well she might be interesting enough to keep around, though it didn't mean he wouldn't still allow things to go after her. She was merely a toy to him and he saw no true importance of her except for entertainment. He had heard her voice now and now he wanted to hear her screams. She was enjoying the fact that Trouble couldn't actually hurt her. Though everything could be arranged.

He was going to answer before she began to speak again. Then she was calling him by the bloody awful name. Cammy. What kind of fucking name was that? Oh right she was trying to pay him back for calling her Lollie. His nose wrinkled upon hearing the name, but he would simply step closer to her and waving Trouble in front of her face. The thing trashed and went right towards her , though he doubted that she was that girl that he had imagined her to be. She wouldn't scream because the cute little bunny turned into a monster. No she had kicked the rabbit that he now held in his hand. Said rabbit was actually pissed off and wanted to pay her back. An angry squeak left its little bunny mouth before mouth would open and try to take a decent chunk out of her.

"You didn't like being kicked did you?" Again he was talking to the beastie and he actually seemed to be half allowing the rabbit to take a chunk out of her. Still he held Trouble at arms range, but didn't stop the swinging fluff ball from trying to lunge at her. "Now first thing first Mossy Lollie , Cammy isn't my name" he would step closer to her. He hoped that Trouble held true to his name and went to actually sink predator teeth into her skin. The bunny was being allowed a shorter leash, but still he held the trashing thing. "As for what I do and don't know about the game. It is easy to analyze it and understand it. Trouble here might have been a harmless little bunny before, but something in the game world changed and it became a predator rather than prey. It is genius actually. I'm sure it is only a matter of time before we encounter other players."

He was allowing Trouble to snap away at her and hell he was even giving the bunny some help in getting closer to her. If it didn't require him to bend down and leave himself open to her than he would hold Trouble to her wounded area. Oh he bet that would sting if Trouble got teeth within her wound. It was enough to make the smirk appear , a devious look within his eyes. "Now you see Trouble here won't be a problem for me. For you maybe it would be. I mean I didn't kick the thing." Yes he poked it repeatedly with a stick, but the thing seemed more upset about the kick than that. "Oh and one more thing..." he would pause and his crimson eyes would seem to stare into her very soul. "I will never be another soul to toy with by anyone. I'm the one that is important not you. You should learn that sooner rather than later." He would seem to go back into a cheerful mood and smile down at Trouble. "Isn't that right, Trouble. She is a mean one, but we'll tame her. I know you'll enjoy it" he turned and under his breath added "almost as much as I'll enjoy it."

  12. She watched him with the rabbit, her eyes following his movements as his nose wrinkled with the name she called him. The smirk that crossed her lips was a mixture of amusement and boredom as he stepped closer and waved the thrashing rabbit in front of her. She was growing bored, especially since he didn't seem to want to do anything but stand around and try to torment her. There was an entire world to be explored here, many things to see and learn, and she hadn't logged in to just stand around and chit-chat. “Put your little pet back on its leash, before I break its neck.” Her voice was cold as she spoke, calculated, though it still held that lyrical tone. She was done playing around and he was acting like a spoiled child with their first bb gun. It was rather irritating, to be honest.

She watched as the rabbit tried to lunge at her from his grasp, and as if to make a point, she clenched her left fist at her side, though she opened it again, quickly. It wasn't the rabbit's fault it was angry. She had kicked it, after all. What she didn't understand was why it was being so aggressive towards her. After her kick, it had been fine, back to docile and just laying there, until this Camus had started poking and prodding at it. Perhaps it was simply that the male had taken away the rabbits ability to get to him.

Her thoughts were interrupted, though, as her palm opened back up and a light, nearly unheard 'bleep' of sound hit her ears. Looking down at her palm, she raised a brow as she could see an almost phone-like screen on her palm. Her attention reverted from the male and his pet as she blinked, slowly. Where had this come from? She couldn't help but wonder, as her focus seemed to revert completely to the palm of her hand. “Well, that's new.” She said out loud, before closing her fist and opening it once more. As she expected, the small screen-like thing disappeared, until she clenched and reopened her fist once more. It was interesting indeed.

Moving her right hand, she touched at the screen, taking note of the various items she could see on it. It was definitely something to help with the game mechanics, as she noted the settings and menus she could see. Taking a moment to look back at the male, wondering if he could actually see the thing or if she simply looked a bit mad, she wrinkled her nose at the still thrashing rabbit. Camus' words hit her ears as he had continued to speak. “Yeah, well, he attacked first, so, he can get over it, and, as long as you're calling me Lolli, you are stuck with Cammy.” She said, her eyes darting back to the rabbit. As the rabbit seemed to try and lunge at her once more, she darted her right hand out—Screw the fact that he was holding the damned thing. It was starting to annoy her. Her palm made contact with the side of the little creature's head and she watched as it went limp in his grasp. “I told you to keep that thing on its leash.” She said. She didn't care if she had killed it, knocked it out, or stunned it. She didn't care if he liked it, either. She was more intent on learning what she could of the game.

As she turned her attention back to the odd menu showing on her left hand, she took note of a few things she could see; skills and such that were listed, as well as the settings for certain abilities and such. It seemed she had a realistic point of pain and she was set to be assisted in her attacks. She was fine with that, for now, as she knew she still had much to learn. Moving her fingers to close and open her fist once more, she watched as the menu disappeared and she turned back to Camus, her mossy-eyes taking on an almost amused look.

“You're rather full of yourself and though that may be something that could get you by in the real world, I don't see it helping here. You can do what you want. I'm going to find something to do other than standing here.” She said, clearly ignoring his words to both herself and the rabbit, as she turned to begin walking away from him; his crimson-eyed gaze having appeared to have no effect on her. It was quite obvious that she didn't agree with his apparently high opinion of himself. It was time to get the adventures started, and she didn't rightly care if he stayed or followed.

  13. Had she just really threaten the poor bunny. No girl would do that, than again Lorelei didn't seem to be like any normal girl he knew . She had a sense of darkness about her, and he couldn't quite place a finger on it at all. Though the girl insisted on calling him such a dreadfully awful name such as Cammy. Did he honestly expect anyone to just lay down and take his name calling. Yes! Actually yes, he did expect that. They weren't supposed to be smart or fight back like this, they were supposed to just well lay down and die metaphorically or physically he didn't care. People were pawns to be used and manipulated, they were nothing than means of enjoyment for his boredom. Yet here he was wasting his time with someone who would more than likely go no where. Yet he couldn't help but hold some interesting in her.

His crimson eyes picked up the glowing like menu feature she had accessed when she had clutched her left palm. The way she used her right hand to touch the thing and look at what ever it showed her. Though it didn't seem like he was even paying attention to her. So she had happened to unlock something within the game that he hadn't. Well good for her, but he would make her feel as if he had seen nothing at all. He frowned when she had gone to dart her right hand to stop the thrashing bunny. The creature going limp within his grasp and no longer was trashing about. Its eyes were closed. He moved the thing so it was closer to him. "Aww come on you didn't have to hit it so hard" though honestly this was a person who could care less about any kind of life.

Though as he was about to toss the thing back to the ground as if it was as simple as throwing a piece of trash to the ground-- that was when he noticed that it was breathing. The slight raising and falling of the things chest. After she had struck the thing she seemed to go back to her menu that was showing from her left hand. He rolled his eyes at her as she seemed to turn back to face him and her features took on an almost amused look. So she enjoyed causing pain and chaos, could be fun to play a few rounds with her in all honestly. Though like hell would he ever admit that out loud.

Now she was ignoring him and she was actually walking away from him. He growled at her as he stormed after her. "Listen here you, you don't know a bloody thing about me!" It seemed that for the first time that she had said something to get under his skin. Though as quickly as it showed he was back to becoming his poison sweet self of sarcasm, sadism and arrogance. "Anyways it is rather boring standing around anyways." He had gone to shift the rabbit as he walked to where he was actually holding the thing slightly loosely within his arms rather than waving it about like before. The thing was even if the thing bit him, he would probably still keep it around. It humored him in some odd sense, even if he had thought of tossing the thing away just mere moments before.

It actually looked strange for him to be holding the rabbit as he was. Sometimes things showed themselves oddly for everyone. He had chosen the race of Yladian and he was bound to have some connection to nature in some shape or form. For him it showed itself within his strange bond with the lil beasties. Even if he wasn't against being unnaturally cruel to them either. He like anyone had their rare moments. He passed her and started humming to himself as he continued forward. He had put the stick within the side of his belt , almost as if it was where a sword should belong. His crimson eyes were analyzing the scenery around them. What would come at them next?

Them. Now that was amusing. Though it wasn't quite time to part ways just yet from Lollie. He applied some pressure to his left hand as he extended it forward, it was being done in a slightly different way than she had accessed her. He saw the menu that lit up for him and he used his right index finger to briefly scroll through. It was surprisingly easier than one might think it would be. Realistic pain, assisted attack on, and oh look that was interesting. One of the icons were blinking and he tapped it to open it. Now that could be useful indeed.

His crimson eyes was taking in the armor tab, seemed he had somehow already earned some or had been equip with it just now. He pressed the first icon that showed a person's head and highlighted from there all the way to what looked to be a weaponry icon. He quickly deactivated the lit menu, all of this of course with his back turned to Lorelei. The tune still being hummed, though anyone with eyes would be able to actually see the changes in his appearance though his clothing hadn't been altered too much. What was clear was the fact that at his hip now had a sword at it. He was just walking, not sure where they were going or if she was even following him still. Though a part of him could actually feel like something was about to happen. He just didn't know what.

  14. Had she heard his expression of how she didn't have to hit the rabbit so hard? Of course, she had. She just didn't care. He'd threatened her with the damned thing and she was annoyed, already, with his flamboyant and outrageous demeanor. Even within this game, in her opinion, there was no need for anyone to be so full of themselves that they had to put someone else down to feel better. There was no cause for it. There was no excuse for it. It seemed like he was doing everything in his power to try to push the right buttons to make her feel inferior, and she simply wasn't going to let him think for a moment that it was working. That was why she had chosen to walk away.

As she had stepped away from him, though, his words and the sudden passion behind them caught her ears, causing them to twitch. Something in her words to him had awakened something beneath his character's demeanor. Anyone with any sense could tell the emotion behind his outburst was real. 'You don't know a thing about me.' He was right about that. His tone changed just as quickly as his outburst had come on. She could hear his pounding steps as he made his way towards her, and she stopped in her tracks, turning to face him. What she saw almost caused her to give a look of shock, but she managed to hold her still and calm face, as she looked at him.

He had shifted the rabbit in his arms, holding almost as one would a pet; almost as one would hold something it cared for. The manner in which he had been acting all this time, and now was again, it was a strange sight to see him doing such. She said nothing of it, though, not really wanting to make things worse. She honestly felt like she had hit a nerve with him, possibly touched a sore spot or even insulted him; not him the character, but his player. That hadn't really been what she had been going after. Sure, her character was cold, had a dark side, and held little respect for most life, but she, herself, the player, wasn't a monster. She wouldn't have dreamed of causing such a reaction from anyone.

“Look. I'm sorry, okay?” She said as he passed her. She didn't really care if he accepted it or even acknowledged it, but the strangely-lyrical tones of her voice were honest. For those split seconds as she responded to his outburst and watched as he moved in front of her, her eyes noting the changes in his appearance as he opened his menu and scrolled through it, she allowed that break in her character. She allowed herself to drop the facade that was Lorelei. She didn't really know why, and it didn't last for long. He was moving again, and she wasn't sure, anymore, what would be her best course of action. Sure, they would probably be better off together, and she didn't NOT like the guy. She just didn't really LIKE him either and she was sure he felt the same way.

He was moving again. Shaking her head, she looked around for a moment, before her eyes lit up with an idea. Pushing herself up from the ground where she stood, she grabbed a low tree branch and pulled herself up. Glancing around once more, she began to move, her feet hitting the branch nearly silently, as she began to move along it, springing to a rather large one across from it and making her way down that one to the next. If he looked up and saw her, then so be it. She wasn't trying to hide from him. From the position she now had, she'd be able to see most anything that happened to come upon them, though, and they wouldn't have to converse so much. She needed a moment to get herself back in line with her character apparently, also.

She couldn't help herself from deciding to stick near him, at least for now. He was the only one she had met so far, and the bunny alone was proof that bigger dangers were around. Sure, she couldn't care less what happened to him in a character standpoint, but she did care what happened to her, and there was safety in numbers. It wasn't just that, though, either. Her thoughts were running, as she stopped to tear a piece off of the bottom of her shirt and tie it around the wound on her leg, before continuing on her path. Certain ones of her senses seemed to be tingling. It was as if she could feel in the air around them that something was coming. Something was going to happen, and she wasn't so sure that it would be something friendly.

  15. Walking into her apartment after a long day, the girl sighed and put her bag on the couch. She had the closing shift at the Restaurant. Oh how she hated closing. It was rather depressing watching all the other workers leave happily to go enjoy the rest of their night. In her case, she had to go home, make herself something to eat, shower and then try to wind down after the long shift. The only problem she had with that routine was that it didn't always go as she planned. Walking into the kitchen, she started the process of making some instant noodles. It would of been nice to actually eat real pasta but that required energy she didn't have. While her noodles were cooking in the microwave, she took a quick shower. Once she got out, she sighed and felt much better. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. Her food had finally been done. Mixing up her macaroni and cheese, she grabbed a can of soda and went to sit at her computer desk. She opened up her email making sure to always check it daily.

Putting the spoonful of macaroni into her mouth, she could hear the choir of angels singing. despite it being instant, it tasted so good. A sign that surely said 'Yes you're really hungry and anything would taste good right now' There wasn't much to read in her emails. Most of it was advertisements that should of gone into the spam folder. The girl sighed and was about to click out of her email when something caught her attention. "Whoa, what's this?" Clicking it open, her eyes widened at the message. A virtual world? "This is probably another advertisement or something to lure someone in for money. Nice try." Minimizing the email page, she shook her head and concentrated on finish her dinner and drinking her soda. Getting up, she took her empty plate and placed it in the kitchen sink. She left her empty can on the counter. Walking back into her room, she changed from her bathrobe into a tank top and shorts. Looking back over to the computer, she took her seat and reopened the email page. "Alright fine, I'll admit that I'm rather curious." Getting up, she peered up at the clock. "I won't be going to bed anytime soon anyway. So why not?"

Clearing the computer screen, she grabbed her VR Visor and layed herself on her bed. Putting it on her head, and over her eyes she sighed. "Here goes nothing." She pressed the power button on the side and watched at the real world disappeared before her eyes. She saw the menu for Terrasphere and followed its instructions. She created her character and thought of a name. The screen suddenly changed and read Launching Into Terrasphere. The game went black for a moment before lighting up and showing her a new view. Looking around, she realized she was in a tree. "Um...This doesn't seem right. Why would I appear here? Is it some kind of a glitch? Am I being pranked or something?" It had been a while since she played a VR game. She felt a bit rusty. Although it was like riding a bike or in this case playing a game. Once you played one VR game, they were basically all the same. You moved the same an spoke the same. Of course not every game was the same. This one must of been different. Caelynn looked up and reached for the branch above her. She wanted to climb up the tree higher to get a look around at things. Where was she? Was there anybody else around with her?

"It's like climbing a tree in real life. You just have to be careful..." She felt her foot slip but she managed to catch herself. "Whoop see what I mean? One slip and down you go." Was she really talking to herself? Well....There was nobody else round that she knew of so why not. "Slowly and carefully making my way to the top." It seemed like she had long legs and arms. Perfect to test them out in grasping for branches and pushing herself up. After a moment or so she became stuck. There was a branch in front of her that seemed close enough for her to reach. Perhaps if she calculated the distance right and what needed to be done, she could reach it. She jumped up to the branch and put her hands on the branch. Now to pull herself up. Her feet dangled as she tried to run up the trunk of the tree. CRACK! The branch holding her weight suddenly broke up. The pinkette girl screamed as she fell to the ground. The branch landed beside her showing it had lost the strength to hold on any longer. "Son of a-!" Caelynn got up and rubbed her body as habit from what she would do in real life. "Are you serious?! Really? Stupid tree!" She kicked the tree and groaned aloud.

Caelynn sighed in defeat and crossed her arms and plopped down under the tree. "I didn't even get to look around." Her voice was a little sad as she looked down. Looking to the side, she noticed the pink hair dangling around her shoulders. It was long. "Huh?" Reaching up, her ears were pointed. "What the....Oh right I remember now. Duh!"
