  1. Boredom lead a person to do strange things, though what also mattered was the level of said boredom. For Camus, boredom was easy to come by, but no so easy to actually get rid of. It was his level of intelligence that had the silver haired Yladian almost always bored. His crimson eyes were always on the look out for those who might be useful to him, though the thing was-- those people were hard to find. One would have thought that he would have found a surplus of players already, but he hadn't. Maybe it had been because of his boredom and how it always had him following path after path to find the newest location.

Nothing truly kept his focus, no that wasn't true. People might not have held his interest too much, but much more could be said about the beasties that were around. The variety of them were truly remarkable to say the least, he hadn't been able to go too many places just yet, but he found himself making some odd formation throughout the landscape. The people he had come across might have kept his interest for a little bit, but the beasties that he encountered spoke so much more to him. What exactly would he find in this part? Mountains were notorious for their beasties in both game and real life cases. So it should be interesting to see what he might have encounter.

There was strength in numbers, sure he knew that to be the case-- but honestly he didn't care much for the people. People were pawns to him and only had so much use in them. He might come across some poor sap that was easy to manipulate and maybe then he might be able to get somewhere. Challenges were fine and all, but it would be nice to find some powerful player who was a sap and could be eating out of the palm of his hand. All he asked was to be worshiped a little and seen as better than everyone else. What he needed was that little sidekick from that one story, wasn't his name Lefou or something. No the lil shit was a little traitor in the end, he wanted someone loyal who wouldn't question him.

People failed his standards and that seemed to be how he had ended up in Hyland. He had heard tales of beasties that he just had to encounter, even if at his current level he wouldn't be able to do much with them. Hell, he didn't care. He would find a way to get what he wanted, he always did. Now what was the beasties name that he had heard the tales of on his way here? Well on top of the mountain there were tales of hellish Crag Cats and then there were the Yeth Hounds. The tale in general that caught his interest was that of the Yeth Hound, someone had actually encounter a pair of them and had escaped with their lives-- however they were screaming about the nightmares that plauged them after the frightening encounter.

So what exactly did he know about the things? He hummed as he thought, continuing on his way as he did such. "They are just plain doggies that are things of nightmares!" He let out an almost cackle of insanity at that. He was looking for them because he wanted to see one of these hellish hounds for himself. "Their eyes glow red and they hunt in pairs. Oh not to mention the human faces!" He seemed to hug himself , stopping to do so. "Oh what terrible creatures! No one understands them at all." He was clearly out of his mind at that moment, absorbed so much in talking to himself about said hell styled hounds that he wasn't paying attention to his surroundings too much .

  2. Tavion was an extremely new player to the world of Terrasphere Online, he had only dove into its realm a handful of time and not really accomplished anything as of yet. So far his entire time here he had just been wandering around aimlessly, he had come to this virtual world to live out his fantasy of being a knight but so far hadn't really discovered a way to become one. And so he found himself in the region of Hyland, not much was known about it and it was highly unexplored so he wasn't sure what someone like him, who only had the beginning equipment that the game had given to him was going to accomplish here.

But yet here he was wandering its countryside, alone to boot which was probably really stupid of him but still it wasn't exactly like he knew anyone in this world to team up with either so solo was the only route open to him. Tavion slowly made his way through the mountain range that he hand been exploring, it was rough going but the racial ability that he had as a Yladian made it slightly easier, it was as if the game itself had given him a sixth sense about the terrain around him. He could tell just by looking if a rock was going to be able to hold his weight or crumble away, if a branch was going to break when he grabbed it or not and it was this ability that made traveling in the wilds much easier for him that new players of different races.

As he made his way however he slowly began to get the feeling that something was following him, no that wasn't exactly the right way to describe it, it was more as if something was stalking him. It was then that it dawned on him, one of the creatures of this region and discovered his presence and was hunting him, a feeling that he didn't exactly like at all knowing just how little he would be able to do against one of the stronger creatures that called these mountains their home. Crouching down Tavion pulled the weak long bow that he had slung over his shoulder off and reached back pulling one of the arrows from the quiver that he kept upon his back, his brown eyes scanning the area around him hoping to find any trace of the creature.

His eyes continued to scan the area when they finally found what it was that was hunting him, a single solitary stone dwarf. Was it a scout from a much larger force, where were the rest of them as he had heard that they usually traveled in packs and had a earth elemental to command them. Of course it had to be something like this that he would run into of all things, he doubted that the weak bow that he had would do much against the dwarf but he also didn't intend to just roll over and allow it to kill him either that wasn't something that a knight would do.

Standing up quickly Tavion notched the arrow along the bowstring and pulled it back taking aim before he released it, he watched as the arrow flew through the air however it did not make contact with his intended target it collided with a large boulder not to far to the right of the dwarf and clattered harmlessly off onto the ground. "Shit" was the only word that left his lips as he spun around and pressed his back against the rock he had been hiding behind hoping that the dwarf had not seen him when he fired off that arrow. Lifting his head Tavion peered over the rocks and much to his relief it would seem like the dwarf hadn't actually seen him but it was clear that the dwarf knew that he was out there somewhere as it was now actively looking for him.

  3. His lips were curled into an almost devious type smirk, his arms finally going to release his slender frame. He had gotten himself too involved in the affairs of the beasties. Hell, he had come here because of the stories and the interest that said stories had sparked in him. Alas, nothing had come out to greet him just yet. He was alone within the landscape, probably not the smartest idea in the world. He should have brought back up, formed a group of such-- but when did he ever think things out or do anything that actually used his intelligence when it came to something that interested him.

It was rather amusing how he did things without thinking, that was how he had ended up here after all. The beasties were exciting and they were always new and growing and changing and they were just perfect. Who needed other people when he had the beasties to entertain him. To think he would become someone like this within the game, to become so absorbed within the beasties. He had always liked animals to a point in the real world, enjoying reading books and watching documentaries about them at least. It wasn't like he could have a domesticated animal as a pet anyways. What with the type of childhood he had, so wild beasties was what he had.

Maybe that had been a factor that helped him to decide upon this borderline obsession with beasties. They interested him, especially the ones of this world. They weren't exactly like the ones of the real world, they were more aggressive and something within him enjoyed that-- well maybe a little too much. He was the person who had either out loud or mentally declared that he wanted something because he had either seen the beastie or just heard stories about it. He wished the Yeth Hounds would come out to play with him already, or hell maybe even a Crag Cat. He wanted to see both of these beasties, he would settle for anything else but he HAD to see at least one of the two beasties.

He would stay here no matter how pitch black the night got, no matter how cold it got around him. He was prepared at least in his pure determination skills. So what if he wasn't that strong yet, anything could be used in his enviroment if angled or struck just right. Than of course he was a ballsy type person who wasn't against getting dirty if he had to. Pain didn't matter to him, even if he got struck in this encounter-- he would just take it and get back up. Maybe he might even bite the beast back! That was how you tamed a beast that disobeyed , you bit it back and it would learn to respect whoever bit them-- should they actually still be alive.

Oh well! It was what it was. He had made it this far both in life and in this game by pure chance. He would be just fine, if he could service his abusive father he could handle any aggressive beastie that came at him. He was intelligent, sometimes that was more powerful than pure strength. It wasn't like he was some fully weak beginner that hadn't leveled up anything yet, he was gaining more and more experience. It wasn't exactly hard for him , it was actually quite fun to see what was behind every corner. This was why he had come to love this game and he believed it was much better than any other thing out there.

He seemed to spin around upon his heel within the place where he was standing half lost in thought at that point. "Beasties where are ya?!" He rose his voice in hopes that the yelling would bring the beasties to him. It was a idiotic and childish thing, but why play things safe. He had been analyzing his surrounds, they were in the mountains and that meant that yelling also helped to cause certain things to cascade to the bottom of it, be it rocks or snow. Maybe it would be a mixture, but if he could get a beastie with it and maybe wound it using said method than so be it. He could still tame the thing if it was wounded, it just meant he had a greater chance at getting it down and collared per say.

What would approach him first? A small pout playing on his lips when nothing came out to get him upon his calling. "Come on!" It was getting darker now, perfect time for things to start coming out to play. He saw things he could use aside from his basic armor. Ask and thou shall receive. Nature could be harsh, but also it could provide. Traps was easy enough to come by in this vast landscape they were in. Yes not much was known about it, but being here provided great knowledge that was needed. He would have probably come here anyways had it not been for the stories of the beasties, it was uncharted land after all.

He began to move, cause if they were gonna come to him he would cover more ground and go to them. Although he wasn't aware that there was another player near, he could hear a slight whooshing sound and than a small thud that followed. His ears twitching as he took it in, not that far away from him, but still worth a look. Maybe whatever had been in the area of that would be worth his time and maybe just maybe what he was looking for. So he had drawn his long sword from his side and progressed towards the source of the noise. He halted, sticking to the shadows. There he saw a stone dwarf and it looked to be searching for something.

His crimson eyes scanned the area around him. 'Now what was the ugly bastard looking for' he thought to himself rather than speaking out loud. Yes, he was wanting to encounter beasties but he wasn't so stupid as to speak out loud with something so close. He had come around just shortly after the other player had spoken, so not even he could have seen nor heard the other Yladian that he had just happened upon. He gripped tightly upon the hilt of the long sword within his grasp. What did he do? Yes he wanted beasties, but he wasn't going to blindly charge in either. It wasn't worth it because it wasn't the beastie he wanted. He didn't want some fugly dwarf! He watched from the shadows as the fugly thing staggered about looking for whatever was here. Crimson eyes looking along the landscape to see what they had there. Rocks! Rocks could hopefully be used to trap the fugly thing and maybe even crush it. He wondered if it would scream out in agony as it suffered a terrible death. A smirk crossed his lips as he thought of it, but had yet to follow it up just yet.

  4. Tavion kept his back pressed up against the large slab of stone that he had been leaning again, the mountains chilly breeze pulling at his onyx black locks causing them to dance slightly as he reached back and pulled out another arrow. Closing his eyes he notched the arrow onto the bow string and took a long and calming breathe before his eyes flashed open and he wheeled out from behind his cover once again. He pulled the arrow back and took aim down the shaft for a second, the dwarf clearly in his line of sight before he exhaled and released the arrow at the same time letting it fly. Once again the arrow flew through the air quickly only this time it had struck its target and the arrow embedded itself deep into the stone dwarfs legs causing it to howl out in pain as Tavion quickly retreated behind his cover once again.

The stone dwarf looked down at the wooden shaft that was sticking out from its leg, the white feathers at the end causing it to growl slightly before it reached down and without any warning ripped the arrow from his leg. Blood began to flow from the wound that was now made worse from the stupidity of the dwarven creatures action, but stone dwarfs were not known for their intelligence. This time however it had seen who had attacked it and where they had gone and with a roar of rage it lifted its ancient looking battle ax and charged on its thick legs towards Tavion.

Tavion himself had head the war-cry of the dwarf and quickly pulled another arrow from his quiver as he wheeled out from behind the boulder once again and pulled the shaft back until its end was aligned with his cheek. He took a second to take aim down the length of the shaft before letting the arrow loose and watched it whiz through the air and embed itself deep into the dwarven creatures shoulder, a wound that did nothing to slow down its fierce-some charge. Fearsome wasn't exactly a word he ever thought he would use to describe a creature that was almost half his size but when it was barreling towards you in an unstoppable rampage wielding a rather large ax, fearsome is the word that comes to mind.

Tavion probably only had enough time to get off one more shot before the dwarf would be upon him, he had already shot the creature with an arrow in its leg and shoulder but it acted like it hadn't even felt the pain. So he had to wonder would it even be worth it to fire off another arrow, was he only wasting his limited supply of shafts but those were problems for another time right now the only thing that mattered was that he survived this encounter. Reaching back he took another arrow into his grip and brought it to notch pulling the shaft back to his chin once again and took aim, this time he was aim for the very center of the dwarves chest since he figured that and arrow there would surely drop the creature right? Now that he had his targeted area in mind Tavion let the arrow fly and watched it along its trajectory and it appeared for a second that it was going to strike its mark, that was until the dwarf moved its ax and the arrow collided with the head of the weapon before clattering off harmlessly.

And then he was upon Tavion, mindless fury in his eyes most likely from the pain that he was feeling from the injuries it had already sustained. The dwarf had the high ground standing upon a large rock and Tavion watched as the dwarf raised its ax high over its head so that he could bring it down with one mighty swing. Right when it started to bring the axes head down to collide with his skull Tavion dove forward and rolled out of the way and ripped a arrow from his quiver as he laid upon his back, quickly notching the arrow he pulled it back and let it fly without even taking the time to aim, at this distance it would be hard to miss.

Tavion watched as in a split second the arrow penetrated the back of the dwarves skull and exited out from its right eye-socket, the arrowhead dripping blood and had small bits of the ruined eye clinging to it. He laid there and watched as the dwarf dropped to its knees before slumping over dead from his final attack which caused Tavion to lay his head back against the rock and chuckle, he had defeated the creature but he hadn't done it because he was strong mostly it was because he was lucky and just happened to get the better of it. He knew better than to let the victory go to his head, once he started doing that over ever since win then he wouldn't survive for much longer.

  5. There. So that was what the stone dwarf was after. Though the question what had the unlucky man done to become the sight of the fugly thing. Perhaps it was being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though it worked out in his favor all the same, it meant he would able to see two things. He would get to see a dwarf in action not to mention that he would get to see if this new person was useful to him at all. Or maybe he could use him as a source of beastie chow. That way he would always be useful to him.

The way the man had gotten courage to come out from behind his rock slab and shoot at the thing-- well at least he wasn't some sissy who cowered rather than fought. It was interesting to watch from his shaded hiding place, though it wasn't like much could be done for him. Well he could have gone behind the fugly thing and took a nice clean shot at it and chopped its head off-- but that wasn't fun in this case. This time he was analyzing rather than doing anything about a beastie he didn't really have interest in. He had come to like the less human looking things and dwarfs were just so fugly. Why would he want to filthy up his blade with its disgusting blood.

Plus the arrow guy seemed to be doing rather well having already shot the thing twice as it was. The thing had charged in pure anger and pain yet he had got a shot in. Not bad at all, though these compliments would never hear the light of day. He wasn't one to praise people, he saw no reason to do so other than to do so sarcastically . Though every so often he wasn't opposed to a few kind words here or there, it was to make people think he was nicer than he actually was. Honestly he could care less rather the Yladian lived or died in this battle.

If he took care of the thing great, it meant less for him to actually take care of. Then he could continue forward with the true reason he was there. Though what if the little archer that could ended up living and the dwarf ended up dead. Than he would be useful and he would figure out how to use him when he was Yeth Hound hunting. It was sort of comical that he had such an interest in the Yeth Hounds, they had faces of humans. He didn't really like people in general and yet he wanted a beastie with a human face. It was comical to him.

He still stayed where he was , sword still out. He thought of going to help him , but he saw no point at all. It was finished either way it actually went. The dwarf had the upper hand and could easily overbow the little archer, yet right at the last moment a shot was fired and it would have been just dreadful if he had missed at just a range. Yet the other had gotten the better of the drawf and the arrow had pentrated the back of the skull and through its eyesocket. He could see it, this was when he came sneaking out of his shadows, little by little to get a better look.

He had sheathed his sword again , it was clear right now he wouldn't need the thing. Instead he begun to clap as he walked closer to the other. His crimson eyes finally taking the time to analyze the guy. The guy was actually chuckling against the rock after defeating the thing. "The luck of the little archer that could" he spoke a smile on his face. He looked at the fallen dwarf, it was even more fugly with the arrow in its head. "Nice kill you had there , I truly enjoyed your ending."

There was sarcasm in his voice , it was only slight-- but it was there. So the guy would at least be good to try to use as a distraction. He would be useful in someway or another to him. He offered out a hand towards the other. "So does said lucky archer have a name? Name's Camus by the way , I just happened to be in the area." Not really a lie this time, he was there and he just happened to have watched the whole thing. He just so happened to not step in at all. Though the other didn't have to know that.

  6. Tavion had continued to lay there upon the stony ground of the mountain side staring up at the sky for a couple of seconds with a stupid look upon his face, he had just single handed killed a stone dwarf how many new players could say that the very first thing they killed in this world was a creature such as that. Not very many he would bet no most of them stayed close to the player spawning area until they felt comfortable with the game and then and only then did they venture out of that relatively safe area.

But not Tavion no as soon as he spawned into the game he had set out on his own, he didn't want to stay in the weak every with everyone else and if he died along his travels then it was simply meant to be right? He had made it all the way here by simply avoiding fighting whenever he could but if he continued to do that he would never live up to the reason why he had come to this world in the first place, to become a knight. So when the stone dwarf had appeared he knew that it was finally time to try his hand at combat in this world and as it turned out, he wasn't half bad at it really it was almost as if it had come naturally to him.

As he laid there Tavion felt his ears twitch ever so slightly as he picked up the sounds of someone clapping not to far away from him causing him to narrow his eyes slightly. Taking in a deep breathe to calm his nerves Tavion brought his right leg up and reached into his boot and pulled out the knife that he had kept hidden in there for emergencies, rolling to the side he let the knife fly from his hand towards the individual that was coming towards him. The knife would fly through the air and if the individual didn't tilt their head slightly it would only graze their cheek leaving behind a faint cut from its trajectory while also cutting away a few locks of their hair. If they had managed to tilt their head and avoid being cut then the knife would still cut away a few locks of their hair, either way it gave Tavion a couple of seconds to react.

And all he needed as a could of seconds as he sprang to his feet and whipped an arrow from his quicker, notching it upon the string of his bow quickly and pulled it back so that the feathered end of the arrows shaft was right next to his chin. Standing here with his bow drawn back and aimed directly at the chest of the man who had snuck up on his Tavion narrowed his eyes ever so slightly as he watched him and then listened to what the male had to say, he did not miss the sarcasm that was in the males tone.

Tavion stood there for a couple of seconds in silence as he watched the male before him before allowing himself to exhale loudly but still remained in a drawn and ready stance so that if needed he could let the arrow fly at a mere moments notice. "The name is Tavion, so tell me Camus what are you doing sneaking up on people out here in the wilds, and just know that if I don't like your answer then this arrow is going to find a new home, in your chest". Now that he had given the man his fair warning he stood there staring at him, his eyes cold and calculating, the eyes of someone who was ready to end the man before him if he was given any reason and waited for an answer to his question.

  7. He saw the way the other had reached into his boot. It was a quick enough motion, but his crimson eyes had been able to catch it. So the little archer that could had a knife and was going to throw it at him. Seemed fun. He liked the ones that had a little fight in them, they always made things fun. Now, he hadn't forgotten why he was here in the first place. How could he forget the glorious Yeth Hounds and the Crag Cats. Oh no, he would get back to trying to find them after this little encounter was said and done with.

The knife was flying his way through the air, a slight whooshing sound coming with it. Now he could have tilted his head to the sideways or even stepped completely to the side, but he didn't. He could tell slightly that the aim was off, the archer had only gotten lucky and that was it. He wouldn't be able to actually hurt him-- that was unless he allowed him to. So what did the slightly crazed Yladian do? He stood where he was and allowed the knife to continue to fly towards him. The most the thing did was graze his cheek and leaving a faint cut of crimson blood. Not just that but it had cut some of his silver hair away.

The other was trying to buy time, it was the only reason why he would so quickly and carelessly throw the knife at him. He needed practice. He reached his finger up to crease the blood from his cheek and put it into his mouth to lightly suck upon the bloody finger. While he did so the other was on his feet already. He was notching an arrow within his bow. Though he didn't fire, no he was watching him. Soon enough the man was speaking. Most in his position would not do what he did, but he didn't truly think of himself in danger. He thought of this as a game within a game within the game of life. This would help to cure his boredom for a little bit.

"Well Tavi, can I call you that? Oh wait, I don't care. Anyways, Ricky Tiki Tavi, you're free to try to shoot me if ya so wish. You're aim isn't that good yet, so it is a bluff, You just got lucky with that dwarf, you aren't going to survive too long on your own. You lack logic in your attacks, they are pure luck and wanting to survive." He smiled, his crimson eyes taking the other in. So the other was a long shot for actually being truly useful-- he had taken down the thing all by himself. Yes, it was luck and yes he found himself in range of an arrow-- but it didn't worry him.

"As for your question, is it really sneaking up when one announces themselves?" Sure he had been watching from the shadows for a tad longer than he had said, but it was the truth more or less. "So put the thing down, we both know I'm more skilled than you are right now. You amuse me and I don't mean ya harm." He wouldn't care if the other got crushed to death or eaten, but he himself didn't mean harm. Well yet, if the guy pissed him off that might be another story all together.

"So how about we get moving. I have things to do and I doubt you wanna be alone when the beasties come out to hunt. The thing you killed is nothing compared to whatever exists here." He took a step forward, smile still intact on his lips. "So come on Tavi, stop trying to be so cold to me. I have given you no reason to believe I'm the bad guy here. I'm just another person on their journey here." He had to wonder what Tavion was doing up here anyways.

The thing was rather or not the other actually listened to him or shot-- he got something. He didn't mind the pain, hell he loved it. He had his pain settling on realistic, it didn't bother him at all. He wondered what an arrow would feel like going into his flesh. So maybe it wouldn't be the most pleasant thing to a normal sane person, but who said he was fully there in the head. Mental scars were a bitch and that was the person that he was thanks to the life he had as the player. He didn't care if he was injured any, injuries healed and if they were deep enough they left scars. It was amusing to think he would be like this. Perhaps, it was because of all the abuse his player had taken . That had to be it, yet that was a story he would never tell another person.

The beasties maybe. They were good listeners, even when they were fighting with you. They were better than people. At least you knew what a beast would do, a person was sometimes unreadable. So it didn't matter to him what happened. He had spoken what he believed to be true. Should Tavion shoot he doubted it would hit anything important, even at this angle. Maybe his shoulder. Oh that would be fun! His crimson eyes never leaving the other as he waited for the other's move.

  8. Tavion stood there staring at the strange individual that had crept up behind him for a second and listened to his words, his bow was still drawn and aimed directly at the mans chest, and even if what he had said about the stone dwarf was true and he had only gotten lucky it was be next to impossible for him to miss at this range. There was not a respectful word that had come out from the mans mouth, he had just shown up and started insulting him which irritated him greatly, where was this mans honor his decorum, did he possess none? Anger flashed across his brown eyes as the slight breeze pulled at his onyx black locks before Tavion allowed his bow arm to relax and he relaxed the bow but kept the arrow notched upon the string of the bow staring at the man before him "You are a very disrespectful man aren't you?"

He stood there looking at the man for a moment, it was true that he was wearing better armor than Tavion was and his weapon did seem to of a higher quality but none of that truly mattered when it came to a real fight. All that would matter is his preparation and that his arrow found its mark at just the right spot and if those two things worked together than all the armor and weapons in the world wouldn't protect someone. Tavion slowly side stepped away from the man slightly and made his way over towards the edge of a cliff before he peered over it ever so slightly, it wasn't a far drop one that he could undoubtedly take without suffering any real damage he was positive of that.

Turning back around he faced the man and his eyes opened wide with what he seen, there was at least seven or eight more Stone Dwarves were coming down the side of the mountain but this time they were accompanied by something larger. It looked like a walking pile of stones that was slowly making its way down the mountainside, each footstep causing a small impact tremor from the weight of the creature, a Earth Elemental. Tavion had never seen one with his own eyes but the thing looked like it was powerful enough to be a miniboss in a raid that they might take part in, especially with the stone dwarves that were serving as its minions.

Tavion quickly pulled the arrow that he had kept notched back and let it fly, its arch taking it up and over the head of the man before him before it embedded itself into the shoulder of the front leading dwarf of the charge causing it to loose its balance and fall over into a head over feet tumble. Turning his attention to the rude individual Tavion narrowed his eyes "Looks like we don't have time to deal with this right now, these things are going to slaughter us if they get up in close enough", turning his head away from the man he brought it back to the small force that was making its way towards them.

Reaching back he pulled out another arrow and sighed slightly, his Range Mastery was still very weak so any arrow that met its mark at a distance was really nothing more than just pure luck on his part. He was able to deal with the one stone dwarf easily enough because it was close enough that he really couldn't miss even if he had tried to, but this lot there were entirely to many of them to allow get to close. He just hoped his luck didn't run out before his arrows did, it really was the only option that he had if truth was to be told.

Pulling his arrow back to his cheek once again and let it fly once again, the arrow whistling through the air as it arched through the sky before it started its descent and quickly fell to the ground and embedded itself in the throat of the dwarf that he had just knocked to the ground with his previous arrow. From where he stood he could see the stone dwarf spitting blood from its mouth as it laid there upon the ground twitching before going still forever, that was one enemy down but seven more to go and then there was the the earth elemental to deal with still as well. Turning he looked over at the man who had been disrespectful to him and a smirk spread across his face as an idea formed in his head.

  9. Nothing. He had said nothing about any of the names he had said. Okay, so maybe he had when he was called a disrespectful man-- but still Tavion had not truly brought up the names that he had been called. Hell, instead of going to shoot him he seemed to go to the edge of the cliff nearby. Something was coming, he could feel it. He could literally feel it by this point with the way the small impact tremors seemed to vibrate the ground around them. Than like that the other was letting the arrow that had been for him fly.

He had moved to go and look over the cliff as well, making a small whistle noise. It wouldn't be loud enough to attract too much attention. No, the arrows were doing a good enough job at that as it was. "Then don't let them get too close, Tavi. Logic there." Now he could have been an asshole and turned around and simply left the other alone to be slaughter. Maybe, he could even watch from the shadows and watch the bloodshed. It seemed that the one that Tavion had killed prior with his luck had simply been a scout perhaps.

This was the true fleet of em and they were coming. Yet, still Camus didn't feel any fear of death. Though he should have gotten some props at that time because he didn't turn his back on his fellow Yladian. Instead he gave a smirk "To die will be an awfully big adventure" He quoted Peter Pan to the man who had just been ready to kill him. He couldn't help himself at all, it was a small side of the player truly showing through his character. It showed why the more or less mental arrogant man was the way he was. He wasn't afraid to die, hell he half wanted to die for said 'big adventure'.

He hadn't seen the smirk that spread upon the other's lips, due to the fact that he was trying to think of his own way of getting through this. Seven stone dwarfs and an Earth Elemental were the enemy that they had to slay, it would be fun. He could imagine the bloodshed-- regardless if he helped the guy or not. Tavion wasn't very skilled in his range mastery at all. His crimson eyes searched the landscape. There above the pathway of the small troop coming towards them was a formation of rocks. Now it might not truly stop them, but it might stun them.

He couldn't use any type of magic mastery, his masteries were more dependent on either stealth, using the beasties or being up close and personal with what he was fighting. He could hold his own with a handful of enemies but even he would fall under this amount of enemies. "What are the chances that you can hit the second rock to the right of that formation. Tell ya what, if ya can do it I might reconsider and take back that it was all luck." He grinned at the other, though he was unsure or not rather the other would see it.

It was such a long shot and he doubted that the guy could actually do it. Though he would be amazed if somehow he could. He had to make the guy want to be able to do it should this actually work. It wasn't in his masteries to be able to do something range like, though the whip he possessed might be able to reach. Though than he would have no use for this one. He couldn't tell what the other was thinking, but for him he was thinking of how well he could use the man who had just threaten to kill him.

So what if the possibility of death was there, he didn't think that the Hylands would be easy. He was wanting to go up against beasties such as Yeth Hounds and Crag Cats, so to get to that goal he needed to reach the completion of this one. "So what ya think? I mean if your not up for the task and would rather the things come up here and kill ya-- it is ya choice." If he stepped close enough to the edge of the cliff, he might be able to reach it. Though for him and his whip, it might mean taking the small fall down before he could do such. Going into the frontal reign of the troops-- now he wasn't opposed to it at all, he wasn't plain suicidal.

Though when thinking strategies one always had to be prepared for factors to go south. So that was an option, he would call it plan B , well maybe lower down on the list than that. He could use stealth, use Tavion as a distraction when he slipped into the shadows and attacked from behind. Though he would only be able to go about one thing at a time. Unless. he could take down the leader first. Take down the main Boss and the minions were easy to pick off. That was a good plan actually. Though for anything he needed to see what the other would do.

  10. Tavion stood there and looked at the forces that were slowly advancing on them, his mind running through all the possible options that he had, he could continue to use his bow on them from a range but he wasn't very skilled with it and would more than likely run out of arrows long before he ran out of enemies. He had his Spirit Magic Mastery but really hadn't tried to use in at all as of yet, hell he wasn't even sure what good spirits would do in this instance really, maybe he could summon the spirit of a long dead archer to help with his aim but with his lack of skill in the Mastery he would probably end up with an archer who died in a battle because he sucked. No, the only Mastery that he had that he could truly depend on what his Tinkering Mastery, with its wide variety of applications it could be used for.

Reaching down he flipped the lid open on the square pack that he wore on his side at all times and looked down at the cylinder vials that were kept inside, his mind racing before he reached in and pulled out two vials one filled with a red liquid and the other containing a blue liquid. Both of the vials had a clip on them that allowed him to attach them to the sides of one of his arrow shafts before he brought the shaft back and took aim at the leading two Stone Dwarves before a wicked smile spread across his face as he let the arrow fly. The arrow traveled along its arc before making its descent and collided with the stone surface of the mountain range between the two dwarves, the two vials that were attached to it shattering and the liquids within mixed together before causing a violent and powerful explosion.

The force of the explosion ripped through the two Stone Dwarves and ripped their bodies apart sending small pieces of them flying everywhere, he watched as one of their eyes landed on the ground and rolled coming to a stop so that it was staring up at the man who had joined him. Tavion himself had been forced to tilt his head as a large portion of what used to have been one of their spines that had intestinal matter wrapped around it came flying at his face, it would have been pretty disgusting to have been hit by something like that. It had been a powerful little trick that he had just used but unfortunately for him it was the only time that he could use it, he was currently out of the chemicals it would need to make that sort of volatile reaction again. However he still had other tricks up his sleeve that would prove to be useful in this situation. Reaching down he pulled out another vial, this one however was filled with a different green colored liquid, pulling out another arrow he attached the green filled vial to it and brought it up to take aim, there were still five more Stone Dwarves there were closing in on them and three of them were leading the pack and would be on-top of them in mere moments and so they were the targets.

He brought the arrow back as he took aim the center dwarf that was in the front running before letting it fly, it shot along its course and looked like it was going to embed itself into the dwarves chest when it suddenly moved its ax in-front of the arrow, shattering the vial on its metal forcing the green liquid out, and the second it made contact with the air it erupted into a green cloud that engulfed the three dwarves entirely having been converted from a liquid to a gas once it was exposed to the air. From inside the green cloud, loud screams of pain could be heard coming from the darves inside, the breeze blew the cloud apart revealing the scene taking place within, the skin was melting off of the dwarves and in several places was already revealing the bone deep underneath which caused him to grin slightly. The green liquid had been an acidic compound of his own design that converted from a liquid to a gas with the addition of oxygen, chuckling as the three dwarves literally melted in-front of their eyes becoming nothing more than steaming piles of gone and gooey gore not to far in-front of them.

Now all that was left was to deal with the remaining two Stone Dwarves and the Earth Elemental that had appeared with them, a feat the would have proven challenging even had he not already deployed two of his most powerful tricks just to keep the dwarves off of them for as long as he had. Turning his head to look at the man next to him he shook his head slightly "You got any ideas, I am running out of tricks here. I wasn't prepared to be fighting a Earth Elemental" turning his attention away from his companion he returned his attention back to the advancing forces as he reached back and withdrew another arrow from his quiver, turning his head he realized that he was beginning to run low on arrows as well. He really hoped that his companion had some kind of trick up a sleeve of his own or this might prove to turn out to be a little troublesome.

  11. A frown had seemed to appear on the other's face, he hadn't even heard his suggestion on how to stop the dwarfs advances towards them. Then he was pulling out vials, a red and blue one at first. His crimson eyes watched as he did this and attached them to the arrow. What exactly was Tavi going to be doing with that. Did he plan on making fireworks with it. No a reaction. It made sense, but why would the other hide this wonderful trick until now. He had to say that the guy was slightly brilliant with the way he used his arrows to deliver the chemicals and then BAM.

He couldn't deny that he was impressed, excited as the guts seemed to fly from the exploded dwarfs. To him it was like the Fourth of July met Christmas for him. There was something about the guts and the spines that were flying everywhere. One had even come to almost hit Tavion in the face. Actually this would be a wonderful fest to call the Yeth Hounds to the area. The guy had a good idea in a way. Make a bloodbath. Though there were other dwarfs left. He had just been watching. Watching as the other had pulled out another vial of liquid and attached it in the same fashion. He expected another explosion, but no he heard screams.

No fair! The screams was a sweet sound, but he wanted to be the one bringing them. "Wicked" his crimson eyes was watching as the flesh dripped from the dwarfs. Dripping and melting into a pile of goo. He licked his lips at this display, so maybe he had been hard on the archer before. He WAS useful and damn it he wanted to see more of what he could do. In all time of course, there was always ways of making others stay around him. He would just conduct himself better. If he was correct, he doubted the other had any other fancy potions with him. This fact was confirmed by the way he was asked for ideas.

"Oh Tavi is running out of tricks. Aren't you glad that I'm around now. Time to show off what I can do. Two and a Boss, seems even odds." He drew his sword and swung it around to pump his blood. Well everyone had to show their tricks off eventually, and Tavion had waited until this moment to show off what he actually was good at. He stood there analyzing as the dwarfs got closer. The Earth Element right behind. "So Rykki Tykki Tavi, this is what we're gonna do." He had kept his voice lowered despite the fact that the dwarfs were stupid. "Seeing as you said you're running out of tricks, you are simply going to keep those ugly fuckers attentions on you" he had gone to pat the guy on the back.

He held the most arrogant smirk in the world. "Think you can handle that without your fancy little explosions. Brilliant show, I give it close to a four star rating. Though just leave the rest to me." He patted him once more before he moved. There was a small ledge that dropped down right behind the band of merry men that was coming after them. He was more of a close range fighter anyways. He was good enough at sneaking around though. If Tavion did his part then he could get behind them and take down what he could.

'You might actually might be injured' there was the little demon in his head. It wasn't like it cared at all, and he didn't mind if he was put in the line of danger. It made his life more exciting. He slinked towards the edge, sword still out. He could try using his beast taming, but he doubt the dwarfs would fall for it. No they would, he just didn't want one of the stupid minions. If he was taming anything they was facing he would tackle the Earth Elemental. Though at his current level that would be a one way ticket to being killed. So stunning it and taking it down afterwards would have to do. 'What is to stop the dick from leaving once your down here?' The little demon had a point. Well perhaps it was a thing of pride. After this was over, he would focus on his Yeth Hound hunting.
