  1. From his perch upon his throne Galadion watched as the young Yladian began to notice the restoration of his energy which put that pep back in his step, which caused a small chuckle to escape his lips ever so slightly. It had been a rather interesting show watching the new player take on an entire pack of wolves just mere moments after arriving in the virtual world of Terrasphere, the game could be rather cruel in that manner as if he had not been there Gwelundir would most surely have been killed by this wolf pack already. His thoughts began to stray away from the lingering battle that was ongoing before him, what would happen after this fight? Where would he take Gwelundir next to help him gain more experience, these were the thoughts that were running through his head now.

When he first entered this world he had taken that time to explore several different caves with several different players, each cave was relatively the same as the next the only thing that was different was the creatures that had been found within. Perhaps that is what he would do with the young Yladian take him to one of the many caves that were within this region, let him kill all of the creatures that called the place home. He would of course be there to help him out of any situation that would prove to be fatal, much like he was doing at this very moment he needed strong people to help him accomplish what he wanted to get done.

Galadion returned his attention back to the situation at hand, the snarling of the dire wolf filling the air. Its entire pack had been destroyed which only served to add fuel to its rage and if he was being entirely honest with himself, he had grown quite tired of hearing its damned snarling. "Xaquin utzilah kali", the words of power fell from his lips as he gathered the mana needed and released it as the last syllable was uttered and the spell sprang to life, once again a circle of flames appeared around the dire wolf before it too was engulfed in the resulting column of flames.

However this was a dire wolf, it was larger and stronger than its regular counterpart and was able to take a much greater deal of punishment. The snarling of the wolf had turned to a pained whimper as the flames dies down, the smell of burning fur and flesh once again filled the air refreshing its attack upon their sense of small but it hadn't been enough to kill the creature. Galadion had had enough of playing with this damned creature as he sprang to his feet, a slight flash of anger in his sliver optics as his gaze met that of the sulfur yellow eyes possessed by the dire wolf.

"Moiparran soth korilath!", another magical invocation was recited by the Yladian King and it was in this moment that finally the spirit of the wolf had been broken, the anger and defiance that had been within the wolfs eyes had been replaced by fear as if it knew that it would soon meet its death. As he finished his the invocation needed for his spell, four large spears made from ice sprang up from the ground and skewered the dire wolf lifting it up into the air. Its blood ran down the spears made of ice as Galadion lowered himself back upon his throne his eyes never leaving the bloody sight that he had just created for a few moments before turning his gaze to Gwelundir "Well now that that is finished, how are you feeling? Did you feel the effect that magic has on your body?"

  2. Shaking his head, his attention was focused on the beast before him. It's snarling was getting annoyed. For a beast of it's stature it should have attacked them by now. Rather it should have at least made a movement too, with how quick Galadion was at invoking he would have caught him before any damage came to Gwelundir, however surprise filled the boys face watching the beast make no attempt to attack or do anything. Was it on a leash? Could it be possible to control the dires? No, of course it was. Any beast was tamable. But were these wolves part of someone's collection? Or had they come across an unusual beast.

However a circle seemed to form under the beast. Gwelundir could tell where it had come from, he knew that Galadion had gotten sick of the beasts snarling. Gwelundir took a breath, as his right hand pointed upwards. A cloud formed above the wolf.
"Dilacerant ad aetheres, qui uri carnes fulgur percutiens!" The male called out, his words aligned with the words of Galadion. A good sign of team work. As the pillar of flames climbed up, a bolt of lightning dropped from the sky as Gwelundir's hand turned, and struck down, the bolt following it's motion.

Even if it wanted to escape, the wolf had been burnt, singed and paralyzed slightly. The lightning wasn't exactly as strong as the uprising flames, but it had the potency to atleast dull the beasts movements, and cause it to stall in place. Gwelundir had grinned to himself as the spells seemed to vanish from sight, only to have the recurring stench fill the air once again.
"I'll never get used to that sme-" His words cut off by a jutting in the earth as he heard Galadion speak.

Suddenly the spikes of ice penetrated forth, and skewered the large beast, a yelp came from it's large maw as the spikes of frozen water dyed a red colour as the blood moved down them towards the ground. Gwelundir had nodded to the beast.
"Yep. That'll do it. He's deader than dead." He laughed to himself. He turned on his heels, the grin still on his face.

"Yeah, I felt it. That's pretty cool! I admit, at first I thought it was a spell from that wolf, like maybe it was gonna poison or explode me, so I got a little scared. But as soon as I felt my energy coming back I knew it was you doing it." He then turned to face the wolf. Before looking to the sky, and then back to the Yladian. "But hey, that was a pretty cool combination!"

  3. Finally all of the wolves that made up the pack were defeated, most of them were nothing more than smoking corpses upon the ground from either his own spells or those of Gwelundir. But now that they were dispatched Galadion could look to what came next and he thought he had an idea, the area that he spawned into when he first entered this virtual world wasn't to far away from where they were currently standing. There was a cave that he ventured into when he first got here, it had been over run with all kinds of different creatures, the strongest of which he had to deal with was a cave troll but at least he hadn't be alone on that exploit, he had had a companion that was also a new player so it made things slightly easier.

He listened to the younger Yladian make a comment about their combined magic which caused him to nod his head ever so slightly "Indeed, it was a rather impressive display of combined magic". He turned his head away from the younger male and looked down the beach towards the treeline in the distance where the forest began, Galadion lifted his hand and point in its direction "I am heading that way, you are welcome to come with me if you want to. There are a few good training areas that I could show you". He stood there for a few seconds waiting for the younger male to give him his answer before he turned and started to make his way towards the trees.

The journey wasn't a very long one when the sand under his feet slowly came to and end and became grass covered dirt as he left the beach behind. The air around them that had preciously been cool and smelled of the salted seawater had changed, now it was slightly warm and now smelled slightly musty like damp foliage and moss that grew upon the trees. Tall trees stood all around him their lives slightly blocking out the sun above making it slightly darker in the forest than it had been on the beach.

Travelling through the forest for a short time Galadion came to a clearing in the trees coming to a stop a small smile upon his face. This was the glade that he had first spawned into this world at, right over there was where his very own dire wolf had attacked him when he first arrived. If it hadn't been for a a veteran player that had come to his own aid he might have every well died mere moments after arriving here and he probably would have given up on this world if that had happened and he would have missed out on all the experiences that he went through during his time here.

The nostalgia had hit him like a punch in the gut, it was shocking at how far he had come in such a short amount of time when he appeared here he was nothing more than an awe struck beginner in an unfamiliar land without the power to truly protect himself. And now here he was an experienced player who was on his way to becoming the ruler of his own kingdom, all through the strength of his own power and it was truly fascinating to him. However now was not the time to be living in the passed, he had a task to accomplish and standing there thinking about his beginning times in this world wasn't going to get it done.

And once more he was underway, the scenery was actually kind of boring along the way it was just tree after tree until slowly it wasn't. The trees were slowly starting to thin and become fewer and more more distance in between them until they stopped entirely and Galadion found himself staring at a small mountain in the distance. From where he stood he could clearly make out the dark opening that served as the mouth of the cave, now that his destination was in sight he turned his head to look back and see how far away the younger male Yladian was.

  4. Nodding, he was glad that Galadion had agreed with his opinion on the combination of magics, it was simple, but it was things like these that could always prove effective in a battle. While one was dealing damage, one was keeping the foe in place so they couldn't escape it. It was also a smart play on the ivory haired ones part, he had utilized abilities of his skills to benefit the two of them.

He had looked to where Galadion was pointing, and nodded once more, deciding to follow him. As he walked through the sights, his head continued to move side to side looking at all the trees and the marks upon them from the battles that had happened in these parts. He had come to a stop, he noted the male smiling under guise as the corpse of a dire wolf lay, perhaps it was from his first first experience here? Never the less the younger one followed suit. As the older one turned to see where he was, the younger male was walking along a fallen tree trunk, arms out to the side keeping him balanced, before he jumped from the trunk.

He walked onwards for a few paces, standing by the others side as he placed a hand over his eyes, whisltling at the sight before him.
"That's somethin' you don't see everyday. Amazing." He spoke, feeling his heart swell in his chest with excitement. It had to be said, for a game everything was life like, you felt everything, and the lust for adventure he had swelling in his heart was as real as he was.

But he noted the cave entrance, it's opening was the darkest thing on the mountain, he had pointed towards it, and looked to the other.
"We're going in there, right?" He chuckled, recalling the earlier conversation. "I hope I don't slow you down. But it should be good training, right?"

  5. Galadion watched at the carefree and light hearted way that the younger male carried himself and chuckled slightly, he was brand new to this world so it hadn't had the time to harden him just yet like it had done to Galadion already. But he knew from his own experience that the more time he spent in this world the more it would chip away at that spirit slowly hardening him into the warrior he would need to be survive here. That thought alone was almost depressing really, he wished that more people were able to enjoy this world in a more lighthearted way but it simply wasn't possible if one wanted to survive.

His thought roamed back to himself when he first arrived here, everything was a magnificent wonder to him even the most basic of things like the grass and trees simply amazed him. All he had wanted to do was run around and explore everything around him, more than once his curious nature had gotten him lost but that all just added to the experience but now here he was seasoned and carrying the weight of an entire race of people upon his shoulders. No longer was he the care free adventurer no now a seasoned and hardened ruler had replaced that part of him.

His gaze returned to the mountain side that housed the cave once again recalling his own adventures inside of that particular cave, the amount and diversity of creatures that he had fought inside it had surprised him. Not only that but that cave seemed to extend on for an eternity, and now that he thought about it he wasn't even entirely sure the he and his former companion had ever even made it to the final area inside. After spending the better part of an an entire day exploring the inside of the cave they both had lost interest in it and decided to leave.

Now that he stood there looking at its opened mouth once again he wondered if this time he would make it all the way to the end, would new creatures have moved into it or would it simply be empty inside from his last excursion into its depths? The only way that he would get the answers to those questions would be to once again set out into its depths and see what is there. He turned his head and listened to the words that the younger male had spoken and nodded his head ever so slightly "Indeed, I actually trained in this cave when I first came to this world myself. There are all kinds of different weaker creatures inside and some that are a bit more powerful as well"

Slowly he made his way towards the mouth of the cave in the distance, as they neared its mouth Galadion was able to peer into its depths once more. From there at least it looked like not much had changed really, but then again this was just the entrance and not much could be seen besides the darkness of its depths. The air that emitted from within smelled slightly foul and was quite damp as if something hard died within and been left there to rot, not only that but the half decayed corpse of a common deer laid upon the ground in plain view. Turning his head Galadion looked at Gwelundir and chuckled slightly "From here I am going to let you take point. I will be here to defend and back you up if we run into anything to strong but for the most part everything inside this cave is yours to deal with"

  6. Listening to the words the male spoke. He took note that there was different creatures dwelling within the cave, a good training area indeed. What was going to help him even further was that the creatures were weak, and of his level. So he shouldn't have had a problem - of course that was unless the monsters ganged up on him, to overwhelm him with sheer numbers. But if that ever happened, Gwelundir had a companion to help him. Albeit that companion was seasoned and wise to the ways of the world - as he said himself. He had been here before.

Gwelundir had followed him on foot to the caves entrance. Not a light could be seen within. The cave was dark, there was a pungent smell of rotting carcasses, the damp smell of foul flesh, this wasn't exactly going to go well if a predator had laid in wait, but that's to his earlier experience he felt he could handle a pack of wolves himself. True he needed to build his stats more to get better, but that was what this cave presented to him. An opportunity to grind out monsters and animals, and gather up the experience to become something worthwhile.

Point. He was to lead the expedition into the cave now, he had blinked a few times. The simple fact that he knew as soon as he walked in there, he was going to be overcome by darkness, his neck had begun to twist and turn, he was looking around to see if there was something he could ignite, to at least give them some sort of lighting. But that would probably mean that he would have to track back to the woods, and grab something there.

His eyes moved to the ground. The deer that lay there had been lying on a thick stick, Gwelundir's eyes lit up as he moved to it, and snapped the stick. The stick was dried out, a red shade to it from the deers dried blood. It wasn't perfect, but it was the best he had to work with. Holding the stick in his left hand, his right hand moved to the top of the stick, the index finger danced in a circle as it formed a flame on the stick.
"There, that should help." He spoke.

He looked to Galadion, and ushered himself into the cave. The cave was dark, but some of the weaker and smaller creatures seemed to rush away with the approaching ball of illumination. Gwelundir continued in, he had come to a stop as the cave grew somewhat brighter, he could see a few different beasts laying around. Gwelundir had turned, and held the torch out to Galadion.
"Can you hold this, Galadion? I want to give this 100%!"

  7. Galadion peered into the darkness that filled the depths of the cavern before then he remembered all to well what had lurked inside its depths the last time he had traveled this way. The variety of creatures inside was impressive he hadn't thought it would have been possible for that many different species to coexist in such a confined area where ever meal and drink would turn into a competition but they had some how found a way to do so. But it hadn't been just your normal and average creatures that dwelled within, oh no older and more powerful creatures prowled the depths of the cave when he arrived the first time.

Had he tried to clear this cave alone it would have almost certainly ended in his defeat and inevitable death but he hadn't, he had come with another player who had been just a new to the game as he was at the time and the adventured forth together. This was back before he aspired to become the King of the Yladia and merely wanted to be the most powerful sorcerer in all of Terrasphere, his companion at the time had been a female Felis that went by the name of Celestine. Thinking about his time in this cave actually got him wondering about her, where she was and what she was doing, what had she made of herself since the last time he seen her but these were thoughts for another time.

Returning his thought to the here and now he noticed that the young male had picked up a stick and turned it into a make shift torch which brought a small smile to his face. This was a good thing since it showed the Gwelundir knew how to turn the environment around him into things that he could use to benefit him when the situation called for it, a very resourceful skill to have indeed. He hoped that his defeat of a pack of wolves so early in the game wouldn't go to the young mans head, while it was an impressive accomplishment so soon after entering the virtual world if he allowed it to get him thinking that he was more powerful than he was it would certainly spell doom for the man.

As they finally stepped into the mouth of the cave Galadion noticed that the light from the torch was causing some of the extremely weak creatures to scurry off into the depths of the darkness trying to escape them, that was something new, nothing had been that weak when he was here the first time. This cave would prove to be an excellent training ground for the younger Yladian so long as not everything inside ran away at just the first sight of the weak fire that served as their torch. After they had traveled a short distance into the mouth of the cave that was when Galadion noticed something as he allowed his silver eyes to scan the cave, all long the walls and floor of the cave were small trails of what looked to be like some sort of ooze like substance, a substance that he had encountered once before but not within this cave.

The ooze was the tell tale sign of a rather weak creature when faced alone, but when he had faced them they had been far from alone....Slimes. Each Slimes body held some kind of color to it and that color signified what ability that slime had, the one that had just appeared in-front of the two adventures had a red body. Standing there Galadion watched the red slime for a second before another one dropped from the ceiling, and then another and another, they continued to appear until there were now ten of them blocking the path of the adventures. There were 4 red slimes, three blue slimes and 3 black slimes, which caused a small sigh to exit his lips but he had faith that the younger male could handle this on his own.

  8. Watching the red fall from the roof of the cave, he noted it taking on the form of a slime, before other colours fell, and now there was a party of slimes before them. He pointed to each one, counting. There was 4 reds, so he presumed they were fire. There was three blues, that was either water, or lightning, or wind or something. He wasn't sure yet, but one thing was for certain. "I have no clue on them." He said, pointing at the three black slimes.

It was certainly going to be a difficult task for the Yladian. He wasn't 100 percent sure if his thoughts were right, or if they were even immune to anything. But this was basing his logic from other games that had a bunch of different coloured enemies, the colour representing either an element or an immunity. So he was just going to have to throw it in the hat, and try something.

Around him, a circle appeared, reaching to the nearby slimes. The gelatinous bodies seemed to struggle to keep upright.
"Condescendere ad me, et ponam in frigore." He summoned forth, as the pressure in the air had gotten heavier for the slimes, but that wasn't the only thing happening, by his command the air around them had dropped in temperature is it grew colder with a gentle breeze coming from his body, swirling around him.

The slimes couldn't move, and were certainly weak. So the cold air moving through them began to freeze them inside. The bodies gently getting firmer and what appeared to be a gloss over them as the cold air struck them. His hands were moving as they guided the altered air around him, before bring his hands in, spinning them around each other, and blasting the cold air at the slimes knocking them several feet away from them, giving them some space.

"I don't want to take a chance.. But in numbers, they could be dangerous." He said, scratching his cheek and looking at the slimes as he blinked repeatedly. He looked back to Galadion, and took the torch from him, waving it infront of him, trying to get a better sight of the area.

  9. Galadion stood there looking forward at the first round of creatures that had appeared to greet them inside the cave, it was a bunch of different colored Slimes. While extremely weak individually, Slimes like more creatures became more powerful and deadly when they attacked in a pack. Each color of Slime had a different elemental affinity of damage that they could do, the red Slimes were known to cause burning damage with their fire affinity, the blue Slimes inflicted frost on you from a ice affinity and the black Slimes slowed you down by covering you in a tar like substance. He knew first hand just how deadly these things could become when they attacked en-mass, just seeing them brought back memories of a quest that he had gone on with some other players to rid a cave of some Slimes.

The quest was supposed to have been an easy one, go into a cave and kill a few Slimes that had taken up residence inside, but when they had gotten there there were far more than just a few Slimes inside, far far more. Not only had hundreds of Slimes been in there to greet them, something far bigger and far more dangerous had also decided that the cave was its new territory, something that up until then Galadion had never seen before...a Dire Slime. It sounded funny but the Dire Slime itself had been completely massive, at least thirty feet tall and had possessed every color found within the normal Slimes, it had proved to be a very formidable foe for the three adventurers at the time.

But now wasn't the time to be thinking about such things, not when in here there was absolutely no telling what kind of creatures could be lurking within waiting to lunge out from the darkness and make them its next meal. His silvery optics watched as the younger Yladian had called forth a freezing wind upon the Slimes and froze their gelatinous bodies, an action that while creative was ultimately futile for two of the species of Slimes that the technique had been used against. A small hissing sound could be heard in the silence as the heat from the four red Slimes had begun to thaw out the ice that had immobilized it for a few moments, while the three blue Slimes had merely absorbed the ice that had appeared upon their bodies, ice being their elemental affinity.

A small smile spread across Galadions face as he watched, these Slimes were definitely giving the younger new player experience that he would need to survive in the game later down the road. In this world you couldn't just assume that your attack was going to work just because it had landed successfully, something that Gwelundir would hopefully keep in mind from now one as the mobile and sentinel blobs began to once again move their way towards him. Standing there Galadion placed his hands behind his back and folded them together to take a more comfortable stance while he waited for the Slimes to be dealt with in a more efficient manner,

However while he stood there Galadion began to think about something, the last time that he had been in this cave they had not used a torch. It would have been something that they would have had to hold in their hands and would slow them down in the midst of a battle, something that was going to happen to the younger Yladian this very moment. He would have to now figure out a way of attacking the Slimes while holding the torch, well it should be that difficult for a magic casting player such as himself, as long as he could speak he could attack.

But Galadion wanted a little bit more light in the cave than what that torch had to offered "Infurnus ingnium", the words of power fell from his lips as he recited the magical invocation needed for a weaker spell from his pyromancy mastery. A small orb of flames roared to life above their heads and illuminated the cave around them, the orb would follow them during their journey inside the cave. Nodding his head he turned his head and looked at the younger Yladian "You should be a little more careful with your opponents. Just because they are weaker level creatures don't just assume they are going to go down super easy"

  10. Nodding as the other spoke, perhaps he was too confident after the wolves, he needed to slow down, and take a moment to think on his options. He was holding the stick in his hand, before throwing it to the middle blue slime. The flame end hit the slime as it caught in flames. His eyes watching the others before him. He was going to have to think about the flame based slimes. The blue ones had simply absorbed the cold so they had some sort of immunity.

Eyes flashing left and right. The only one effected by the cold was the black slimes. The reds seemed to defrost, there was no point running up to kick it, the blues would have attacked him where he stood. This was certainly a brain tingling challenge none the less. He thought for a moment, before moving a hand out, his left hand swiping, before words left his mouth and a bolt of lightning ripped from his hand, striking another of the blue ones. That was two down.

"If I can generate a stronger wind, I could probably do something to the flame ones." He commented. He stepped forward, counting them once more to keep himself right. The reds were in full force still, that's where he was going to focus. Once more he had spoke his words, bringing in the cold winds before pushing them at the red slimes hoping to use more power to freeze them for longer.

As the current of ice cold wind struck the slimes, Gwel then moved to summon a stronger bolt of lightning that when it had come down had struck through shattering forth the frozen flame slimes, ripping them to pieces through his quick thinking. Of course his hands and arms were feeling the strain of the quick use of magics in quick succession. But if he gave them a chance they would overwhelm him.

  11. Galadion stood there watching the almost hypnotic wiggling of the Slime creatures gelatinous bodies for a few seconds as he watched the small battle that was raging before him, every second that it lasted reminded him of his own battles with the rather annoying creatures. The biggest difference between the younger Yladian and himself was that he had chosen Hydromancy as one of his Masterys instead of Aeromancy that the other clearly had, with his Hydromancy Mastery dealing with the flame attribute Slime had been no difficultly what so ever. It made him pretty happy as he noticed that the younger Yladian had seemed to become more aware of his own limitations, what was within the grasp of his power and what wasn't.

Standing there he wondered how the younger male was going to deal with the obstacle before him, how would he get passed what was going to prove to be a somewhat difficult task for him to overcome however he had faith that he would come up with something. It seemed as if the younger male despite what his age seemed to be was actually rather skilled at picking up on things quickly, even in the flow of battle something that was rather rare indeed. Galadion had met many older people who didn't seem to have the natural battle instincts that Gwelundir seemed to possess, something that made him a little more relaxed since he was sure that the kids instincts would help him stay alive inside of this world.

While he stood there Galadion couldn't help but have the feeling that they had just stepped into something rather dangerous, there wasn't anything that really seemed to give it away but it was just some random feeling that he had and couldn't get rid of. He had survived as long as he had and gotten this far by solely trusting his gut and his own instincts and he didn't intend to stop listening to it now, it would seem that something strong and ominous had moved into this cave and made it its home. There was no physical indication of what it was but he was sure that something was there, something strong and potentially very dangerous, but that was a problem for another time right now he needed to focus that area close to them, to protect Gwelundir should any of the enemies that lunged out at them proved to be to much for the younger male.

A bright flash of light filled the cave as a lightning bolt leapt from the hand of the younger male and quite literally obliterated one of the blue Slimes, he lifted up his hand slightly to protect his face from the flying piece of what had once been its body. And just like that a strong cold wind blew through the cavern that made up the body of the cave causing him to shiver ever so slightly and then several more flashes of lights filled the area from the younger males spell, he had combined the two aspects of his Aeromancy Mastery and froze the bodies of the flame attribute Slimes before shattering their bodies using the lightning that he could generate. That had been some quick thinking on the younger males part, something that proved that he was capable of adapting and evolving even in the middle of a fight.

Nodding his head Galadion looked at him and chuckled "Hey, good job that was some pretty good thinking on your part. Now you just have to deal with the remaining stragglers and we can head on". Everyone needed to hear some kind words of encouragement every now and then and if he was being honest he had found that particular combination to be rather impressive on the young males part. Although all of this quick paced magic had to have been taking its toll on the males energy bar, he was a new player after all and was probably eating through his energy with each spell "Hey, Gwelundir where is your energy bar sitting at right now?"

  12. His attacks and tactics seemed to work well together. He was absorbing the advice that Galadion had been giving to him. It was as if he was taking naturally to the environment he was in. Out side of the game he was used to struggles, so this was his environment, things clicked into place easily, and things were coming naturally. Of course his mastering of elements wasn't the greatest, but in due time he would find that his stats will get better and dealing with the low levels would be nothing but ease, much like Galadion taking out three wolves with no effort. That was his goal, he needed to get to that level.

Hearing the man behind him ask about his energy, he had wanted to ignore it, but taking a few seconds to catch his breath was good to keep him going for longer, he could be heard chuckling to himself, as a nod rolled from his head.
"That combo was tiring. But I'm alright for now. I know to be careful." He said, before he backed up from the slimes, moving closer to the other. He looked over his shoulder, the smile upon his face. "I'll let you know when I'm low." He spoke.

He turned his attention around to the slimes, he was making progress, he had gotten rid of half the numbers, but still remained the frozen attributes and the tar attributes. He moved his hands to his temples as he thought for a second, before snapping his fingers with a click. He wanted to try something it was probably a risk, but it was going to be worth the effort. After all there was no point coming this far if he wasn't willing to take a risk.

His left hand pointed to the open space where the red slimes had been as he began to speak.
"Dilacerant ad aetheres, qui uri carnes fulgur percutiens!" By the time his words finished, a cloud had formed. As it cracked, and sparked from the build up lightning, Gwelundir's right hand swiped across in front of him, from left to right, and to his amazement, the Lightning followed his command, surging through the frozen attribute slimes, their bodies were harder, so when they were struck by the passing bolt they seemed to explode apart, splattering the area around them in a cold blob.

"Oh, sweet! It worked!" He grinned. It was always good to experiment, of course he only tried this because of who was behind him. He knew that if something went wrong, then Galadion would have helped him out, but Gwelundir was glad to know that he could use the lightning in different ways, and at different angles. Of course most would have known this and figured it out, but Gwelundir had left a heavier breath leave his lips. That took some energy and effort. "I've got.. One more in me, before I'm low."

  13. It would seem that all of the coaching that he had given the younger Yladian was beginning to pay off, he seemed very aware of his surroundings but not only that, he was more aware of the amount of energy that he had and how much magical power that each spell would drain after its use. He had learned to feel the signs that he was pushing himself to far with his body rather than relying on the energy bar indicator, something that would definitely save him life down the line when he was one his own in this world. He might be helping the boy now but he had no intention of always being there to watch over him like his mother, at some point he would leave him so that he could go out into the world and increase his strength with his own two hands. He couldn't always be there to save the boy from a situation that may prove to be his death because he had slipped up and not paid attention to something that should have been noticed because he was to relaxed knowing that someone was there to back him up.

A small mischievous twinkle shone in his silvery eyes as he looked at the younger boy before him, while he may have seemed that he was helping him out of the goodness of his heart but anyone who thought that would be dead wrong. While outwardly he appeared like a concerned player who had been in this world for awhile and wanted to show a newer player the ropes while protecting them and lending a hand when it might be needed but that was only because he was extremely good at hiding his manipulative nature. What point was there in trying to manipulate someone if they knew that was what you were trying to do, no it was better to act as if you were their friend, earn their trust and then slowly bend them to your will and that was exactly what he was doing this very second.

He had already begun to think of all of the different ways that Gwelundir and his seemingly natural affinity for magical combat could serve him in the future, he had a goal that he had in mind and it was a simple goal at that, to have all of Terrasphere recognize him as the Sorcerer King, the most skilled magic user in the world. But even with his considerable power there was no way that he could accomplish such an extravagant goal all alone, no he would need allies to help him along the way and if he played his cards right Gwelundir could prove to be one of those allies. It seemed as if the younger boy had placed his trust in him, he was able to right rather relaxed knowing that he was there to offer him aid and provide support should he need it, which was something that he very much indeed planned to do should the situation become troublesome, he couldn't very well let a valuable potential ally die right before his eyes now could he?

Suddenly the felling that a a pair of eyes were on him from a place that he couldn't see was upon him again, slowly the hairs on the back of his neck began to rise which caused him to look around slowly. What was it that was watching them from the darkness, what kind of creature could it possibly be, whatever it was it had enough intelligence to keep itself hidden and out of sight of the two adventures that were currently battling to make their way deeper into the heart of the cavern. The fact that it had this level of intelligence caused him to feel uneasy, the last time that he had been inside this cave there hadn't been any creatures that possessed anything anywhere close to that level of intelligence. Whatever the hell it was he would make sure that he dealt with it in time, he would refuse to allow it to leave this cave alive or act in any way that would potentially bring harm to the younger Yladian that he was protecting. Should anything happen to him then it would besmirch the glorious name of Galadion, the Sorcerer King, although he hadn't exactly told Gwelundir exactly who he was just yet.

With a wave of his hand he brought up his inventory menu, swiping over he brought up the section that had to do with his magical items and looked at the scrolls that were listed within. Most of these scrolls he had written himself using his vocation as a magical crafter, suddenly his eyes landed upon the scroll that he had been looking for, one titled 'Summon Goblin'. Pressing his finger on the button he watched as the rolled up piece of paper appeared in the air before him and held out his hand so that it would drop into his fingers before he flicked it into the air "Summon Goblin", once the words left his mouth the paper unfolded itself floating in the air before it was destroyed in a blue flame of its own creation. Once the piece of paper was completely destroyed a small portal appeared upon the ground next to him and a small grey goblin carrying a battle ax made to fit his size stepped out and the portal closed behind him.

Turning his head he looked down at the creature for a second, it was one of the weaker creature that could be summoned and he had only even written this particular summoning scrolls as a way to see if he could even combine his vocation skills with those of his Masterys and this had been the result. But since he was able to create a scroll that actually worked in summoning the goblin like he wanted then that meant he would also be able to create scrolls and other items that could be used to summon higher tier creatures as well, returning his attention to the goblin as it spoke to him "What can this one do for you my master?", with a slight nod of his head he replied "I want you to go ahead and scout out the area deeper in the cave, return and report to me what you find" the goblin nodded its small grey head before it charged off into the darkness as Galadion turned his attention to see how Gwelundir would finish his battle with the Slimes.
