  1. After the whole ordeal with Titanius, seeing what had become of the land, Vina had thought a lot about what to do to help. She'd already tried her best to heal anyone who'd been injured, at least as much as she could without completely giving up all her personal time. She was a staunch believer in the philosophy that while helping others was good, making them happy was good, someone who was not giving themselves the opportunity to enjoy life as well was neglecting their own well being and would in the long run not last as long as someone who did give themselves that opportunity.

She'd even gone so far as to help return green to the areas where Titanius had stripped the land bare. She wasn't alone in that, and it was a slow process, but she returned every day if she could and at the very least once every week to improve the situation, using song and magic to nurture the plants so they would quickly grow and mature, quickly enough that life could return to the ravaged land.

But still she felt that it wasn't enough. It wasn't that the work she was doing was bad, but she felt like there was something more she could do. She wasn't particularly strong, fast, cunning, wise or talented. While she didn't think of herself as useless she wasn't one of the great heroes, she didn't have it in her stand in front others while facing a monster like Titanius. She was someone who helped others and pushed them up, not someone who stood at the top.

But that didn't mean she couldn't still find things to do. Right now the answer to her question didn't lie in defeating some big evil or being an amazing fighter. She had to try and do her best to help everyone and everything which had been harmed, and leave the devastated lands a better place than she found it. A much, much better place. And after much thinking and talking to the people of this world she'd come up with a plan, as well as a goal she could strive towards.

So far she had acted as an independent druid, someone who just wandered around and helped wherever she could, enjoying life and nature and trying to find pleasure and excitement while avoiding pain and sorrow. She didn't want to get wrapped up in politics. But if she really wanted to help more she'd have to be better than she was now, and take the task more seriously than something she just did as her pastime. She wasn't planning to begin treating it like an actual job, since she loathed the idea of living her life tied down by responsibility, but she was going to do her utmost best for as long as she could and for as long as was needed.

Like everything else nature has a god, and if undoing the damage done and helping people live happy and comfortable lives took more than Vina could summon on her own it might be time to see if she could attract the attention of that deity, the goddess Uene. She wasn't going to try and haggle or argue, she didn't want to treat Uene like some raw power source which she'd just drain energy from: she was hoping that in doing her best to help all life and honour the goddess in every way she could think of the tumultuous Uene would be willing to give her the power she needed to protect and nurture all life. Even if Uene was known as a goddess who could be cruel as well as kind she still firmly believed that Mother Nature would look favourably upon those trying their best to protect nature and aid all living things.

And her first task was to try and make a monument of the beauty of life. She'd already done plenty of healing and supporting, so now she had to try and do something which would attract Uene's attention by being very impressive and which would show Vina's dedication to nature.

But she couldn't do it alone, which was why Vina was walking through a village close to the border of Esuilus, playing her flute as she danced her way through the streets. She had many onlookers, her music being of high quality and having the cheerful upbeat nature that made people whistle even as they worked and which could leave someone in high spirits all day just from hearing it. This was both magical and musical in nature, as Harmonic Magic could enhance the effects music already had on those who heard it.

Smiling at those who watched her play and showing off her skills and her elegant form through her dancing the felis made her way north, her snowlike tail swirling around her as she spun and jumped, performing a backward salto and landing again with her floor-length hair trailing behind her like a silver-white comet, her expression mischievous as she never missed a beat with her music and threw her head back so her hair wouldn't be covering her face.

The plan was simple: try to attract the attention of an adventurer, and see if they would be willing to go along with her. It'd be fun to have someone with her, a new friend, but Vina also had to admit that she really needed a second person around since the place she was heading towards wasn't the safest of locations. Not known for giant monsters or dreadful magic, it was the danger of nature left unchecked, which a druid could deal with but which was still better handled by more than one person.

  2. Getting lost was just a part of the process to discover where you were, at least, that was what Autumn believed whenever she was lost. It wasn't so much that she didn't know where she was, if she wanted to she could look at a map and probably find where she was and where she wanted to go. But by not doing that, by wandering somewhat aimlessly, she was finding new things and meeting new people.

Or, well, she would be meeting new people, had she actually found a person worth speaking to. Sure there were store owners and tavern servants, but they weren't exactly the most interesting of people. Anybody that let their life be ruled by their work and planned everything around it reminded her way too much of her dad and that was an extremely bad thing, at least in her eyes. What was the point of it all if people weren't even going to live? Sure, you could be alive, but people like that weren't really living. They were more like zombies.

And so she found herself exploring towns on the frontier of whatever that Titanius thing that she kept hearing about. Apparently she'd missed something super important and big whilst she'd been busy in the real world? Go figure. It wasn't as if it was something that she was super interested in. From what Lycia had told her about it, the whole ordeal was a pretty bad thing. As far as she could tell, Lycia was still struggling ever so slightly because of the dreams she had of it.

It honestly made her just a little loathe to try new things in this game, considering just how very real certain sensations could feel, even if she hadn't really experimented much. Pain felt the same on realistic settings, hot and cold both felt pretty identical to reality, beyond that she hadn't really felt much else. Hugs from Lycia had felt nice when she actually received them.

A sudden commotion caught her attention, just in time to spot the most attractive Felis she'd ever seen, seemingly dancing through the streets whilst playing a flute. For a while, all she could do was stop and stare, even as the rest of the villagers continued to pass by. She couldn't really help it. It was rare to just see something like this. Was this girl an adventurer too? Or one of the town's folk?

But, in keeping with her usual nature, she was content to stand by and watch for now. She never was the type of person to approach somebody first, especially now that her clothing clearly labelled her an outsider.

  3. It took some more singing and dancing before Vina noticed someone who could become a new friend and companion. A pale-haired woman in unusual clothes, revealing (which Vina greatly approved of, especially given the woman's good figure) and including an intriguing hairband with a horn on it. It wasn't very difficult to see that this was an adventurer: she behaved differently from the villagers, and beyond that there was no way your average villager would be wearing that kind of outfit. That was the kind of thing that you'd see on an adventurer, NPC or player (and usually player).

Not that Vina had anything against the villagers/NPCs. They were as much people as anyone else, and she had several very enjoyable moments with NPCs. It's just that this task was going to be a bit tricky and possibly dangerous, and she didn't want to send a villager to their death just because they were eager to help. Adventurers, even the ones who had only just started out, were just a lot more suited for going into dangerous locations and getting out alive.

She gave Autumn a wink even as she continued playing her flute and dancing, making sure to move her hips and show off her long legs while her tail helped draw attention to her nicely shaped behind. It wasn't that she was intending to seduce the woman (at least, not right off the bat) but Vina liked to show off her body and her talents, so anyone who was wiling to watch her as she performed usually got an eyeful. The mischievous smirk and the glint in the felis's eyes also made it clear that she was aware of her appearance, and how she was giving people plenty to stare at.

Once she deemed to have done enough she began to weave her way towards the end of the performance, the sound from her flute becoming faster and faster as it reaching its climax, ending with three strong notes followed by Vina jumping up once more, spinning while doing a backflip before landing on the ground in a low position, continuing the spin as she placed her hands on the ground (the flute having disappeared into her pouch while she was airborn) and pushed her legs off of the ground. Supporting heself with naught but her hands and the crown of her head she spread her legs wide while spinning upside down. Lowering herself until she was resting on her shoulders she tensed and pushed herself back upright, immediately flowing into a deep bow with both arms to the side. While she wasn't bowing to anyone in particular she had made sure that the woman who had caught her eye was in the direction she was bowing towards.

Straightening up she smiled brightly and cheerfully towards all the villagers, whose reactions ranged from startled to applauding with admiration, before stepping over towards Autumn, her tail energetically wagging behind her as she folded her hands behind her back and leaned her upper body forward, putting her own head closer to the woman's height while at the same time drawing more attention to her decent (albeit not exactly large) chest. Her only clothes were a mess of leafs which covered her hips, crotch, behind, sides, breasts and shoulders, neck, and some of her upper arms and legs, so there was a lot of pale but healthy skin visible including a cleavage reaching all the way from below Vina's neck to below her belly button.

Hey there~ I noticed you watching me, and I figured that looking like that you must be an adventurer just like me. Did you enjoy the show?

With her forward leaning stance her long pale hair was also flowing over her back and dropping off her sides, helping accentuate her curves. Her expression was cheerful and friendly, although her face was somewhat flushed from the physically intensive dancing and her breathing was a bit heavier than it'd usually be. Nevertheless her azure eyes were alight and delighted.

I'm Vina Skysong, and can I know your name?

  4. In the middle of the cacophony of noise, the sounds of the woman's flute and the cheering of members of the gathered crowd, Autumn thought she noticed the woman wink exclusively at her, blinking slightly in surprise as she continued to watch. No, the woman's boyfriend was probably standing behind her or something, yet turning around to check revealed that absolutely nobody was standing directly behind her. Maybe she'd just seen that wrong or something? Or her mind had made it up because she just couldn't lie to herself and say that the woman wasn't attractive. Because boy, was she attractive.

A shapely behind that she had ample time to see, given the way the Felis' tail flicked and swung throughout her performance, curves that just wouldn't quit and one of the prettiest faces that she'd ever seen. It was like looking at somebody that had been photoshopped to look like they were the absolute picture perfect definition of sexually appealing and attractive, in the flesh.

And the climax of the woman's performance was only even more impressive. Autumn watched, mouth only slightly ajar as the woman seemingly shifted into some sort of break dancing routine, spinning like a top and springing off of her shoulders and hands into a standing position, low and bowing towards the crowd. And if Autumn was the type to assume things, then she might have said that the woman was bowing very specifically to her. But again, that was ridiculous, right? They had no clue who the other was, she'd never even seen this woman before and-

"Fuck she's coming over here! Shit, what do I say!?" She mentally panicked almost, watching the woman saunter over to her, once the cheers and applause had died down slightly. She was taller than Autumn by a few inches and when she leaned down to get to a more equal level, Autumn was granted a heavenly view of her cleavage and her smooth, silky skin. She gulped, cheeks slowly darkening with red blush as she struggled to reboot her brain, to find a response that was appropriate.

"I uh, yeah that was...wow. I've uh, never seen movement like that before, e-especially whilst an instrument is being played. You're uh, really quite amazing." Yeesh, laying it on a little thick wasn't she? She blushed a little more, coughing into her fist, before she forced her face into a friendly smile. "I'm uh, my name is Autumn. No last name. It's nice to meet you, Vina."

She shuffled slightly, cursing just how content she usually was to sit back and let others lead the conversations. She couldn't just not try! She had to make some effort to come across as impressive! "So um, what are you doing performing in a town like this, Vina?"

  5. It was always funny to see someone get flustered once Vina began to flirt with them, playfully or not. Her giggle in response wasn't mocking in the slightest, instead just sounding like the giggle of someone enjoying themselves, with a mischievous glint in her eyes accompanying it to make it clear that the druidess was aware why Autumn was blushing. Seeing someone blush and try to stutter a response always made her feel like teasing them some more, so without any hesitation she did so.

Thank you very much! I do my best to try and please the crowd~ I'm capable of a lot more though, and if you've got the time I could show you some of the things I can do from up close~

She giggled again, her expression turning a bit less mischievous when Autumn introduced herself as instead the white felis smiled with affection and warmth.

It's nice to meet you Autumn. That's an interesting name. Did you choose that name because you're free-spirited like the wind or because you're as beautiful as the falling leafs?

Admittedly she may be overdoing it a bit, but it was really difficult not to tease. Vina's tail was curled up behind her, giving anyone facing her back a full view of her round ass while the tip of her tail moved from side to side. For Vina it also wasn't difficult to see that the woman was trying hard not to distance herself because of her embarrassment at suddenly being approached and flirted with, and since the druidess didn't actually want to chase this one off she straightened up a bit so she wasn't quite as in-your-face as before. Of course, that did make it a bit easier for Autumn to stare at her chest, which was now closer to eye level.

I thought that they might enjoy a little performance with flair, and judging from how I was received that thought was correct~ As for why this town specifically, well... I have something I need to do further north, in Esuilus. This town is about as close as I can get without ending up in a place with nearly nobody, and while I'm not scared of travelling alone Esuilus is a tricky place.

She indicated north with the arm closest to that direction, then folded it back behind her back with the other as she turned to face the north herself, facing away from Autumn for a moment as she continued speaking.

You've no doubt heard about it, but it's a place filled with interesting plants and giant mushrooms. Not as dangerous as some places, but still a place where you'd want someone with you in case you were caught off guard.

Her tail lowered while she indicated north, using the distraction to subtly move the furry limb until the tip could brush against Autumn's leg, very briefly and faintly stroking her thigh before moving further down, gently and without any force behind it curling around the woman's ankle while Vina herself looked back over her shoulder at Autumn, her smile wide but also gentle.

I was hoping to encounter someone like you. I could do it alone I think, but it'd be more fun to have someone with me, and I think we'd get along very well~ Of course I'm not going to say you have to come no matter what: I'll admit that I used my performance to draw the attention of capable adventurers, but I neither can nor want to force anyone.

So... you interested? Don't worry, my plans don't include anything nasty. I just need a seed from one of the giant trees there to see if I can cultivate it down south. It'd be a good way to help remove the influence Titanius had, and as a druid I'm better suited for this than rebuilding villages.

  6. Up close? Autumn flushed some more, her pale cheeks dusted with a fine layer of crimson, marking her embarrassed state as she fidgeted slightly with her arms, having no idea what to do with them without pockets to stuff them into. And she had to make sure that her eyes didn't wander to places that they shouldn't be paying specific attention to, even if they oh so desperately wanted to. Just a quick twitch of the eyes was heavenly, but it was probably also going to spell the moment she fell.

Did she choose her name because....huh? She couldn't really blush any harder than she was already, so her only real response was to stutter wordlessly before she finally managed to settle on an appropriate response. "Oh uh, I wouldn't really call myself beautiful! Not like you! I'm like, a five out of ten at the very most, y'know?" She chuckled awkwardly, swallowing. She wasn't exactly digging for a compliment, she genuinely didn't think that she was all that good looking, whether it was in game or in reality.

Then the Felis stood up straight and oh god, was her chest at just the perfect, eye level. It wasn't fair! Why'd she have to be smaller than everybody she met? And why was she always at just the perfect height to motorboat complete strangers if she just happened to stumble and fall into them? Of course, she wouldn't dare do that, since that was probably against some kind of law somewhere, but the thought was way too tempting either way.

And watching the druidess turn around to gesture towards the north, detailing that she was looking to do....something? In all honesty, Autumn hadn't managed to pay a whole lot of attention, her eyes drifting down before she had to focus on the internal war to control them before they undressed the Felis woman.

Suddenly her thigh tickled and she almost jumped from shock, looking down to see the woman's tail curling ever so gently around her ankle, soft to the touch and almost comforting in a way. Interesting. She gasped slightly, but the woman's smile was soothing. Comforting.

"I uh, I'll be honest, I'm not too sure how much help I can be for you. I'm only really new to this whole thing."
Really, she'd done no experimenting or levelling up. She was still what you would call, a noob. "But I'd be happy to join you, if you still want me."

  7. Vina couldn't stop giggling for a moment as Autumn tried so desperately to deny the compliment the druidess had given her, in the process even going so far as to return the compliment back at Vina. The white felis shook her head, her eyes twinkling with delight as she studied the woman a bit blatantly.

Thank you for the kind words, but you shouldn't sell yourself short~ I'd definitely rate you higher than a five, although I would have to give you a thorough inspection before I'd know just how high... but I wouldn't be surprised if you could score a ten outta ten~

She winked, making little effort to hide what she might possible by talking about even if she never said it out loud and immediately returned her attention to the task at hand, trying to leave the woman wondering (and hopefully flustered as well).

Fortunately once the task at hand was discussed it looked like the woman was capable of regaining her bearings, at least enough to give her a good response and raise a valid concern. The druidess shook her head again, still smiling gently.

You don't need to be an experienced adventurer for this. As long as you're good company and help me keep an eye out for any potential trouble I'll already be happy to have you along.

She turned back towards the woman, balancing on her toes and then her heels as she pointed towards herself with one hand, the other still on her back.

I'm not a real expert myself but as long as I'm not caught off guard we should be fine: as I said, where we're going is not a place known for being terribly dangerous, just a bit trickier since there's poisonous plants and the like that could catch the unwary. But I can heal wounds and cure illnesses, so we don't have to worry about any of that~

With Autumn having agreed to join her Vina's tail wagged happily behind her even as she stepped forward and hugged her fellow pale-haired friend, lacking the strength needed to really squeeze Autumn but nevertheless giving her a very enthusiastic hug.

Wonderful! Don't worry, I'll make sure to take good care of you~ If you want I can teach you a bit about what it's like to be an adventurer. It was scary for me when I started out, so I'll do my best to keep an eye out for you. And where we're going is a beautiful place, I'm sure you'll love it as well!

It looked like Vina had become a bit overly enthusiastic once Autumn had agreed, babbling happily as she held Autumn in a happy embrace before letting go again, taking a step back and spinning in place before clapping her hands together once.

So! Given that I've kind of sprung all of this on you, do you need to make any preparations before we depart? We're not in a hurry so if you don't want to leave right this instance I don't mind~

    @Autumn
