"Hold on tight!" She warned before she swung herself forward and dropped the little distance to the ground from the last branch she had riffled through. The bunny's small paws clung on and it shook like a leaf, but settled as soon as she had her feet under her. It twitched and leaned forward as if to jump down so she put it down herself. As she went to look in the nearby bushes, Gwyn stepped over a fallen branch that let out a shuddering crack. Of her pet shot like a bolt! The ranger immediately took off after him with a soothing coo, "Oh, no, no, no! You're fine itty bit." He'd made it half across the yard and thrown himself in the soft lavender scented brush in front of the lovely little house. She trotted over to him with a chuckle and leaned down to pet him, smiling at the egg that had stopped his charge. While she collected that he set on devouring the flower-topped fronds. He still shook like a leaf, but food seemed to do it. The plants pet sat for her while she dug through the bushes lined with pale purple flowers that could almost be mistaken for colorful leaves at a distance. She found the subtle color easy on the eyes... and easier to spot the eggs within! [ OOC: 10 ]
What other locations could she search? A hanging clump of vines caught her attention, and she made her way over, brushing the leaves aside to check if anything was hidden behind. Her previous efforts had only yielded one egg — disappointing, but hardly a large set back. She'll have to do better this time around though, if she wanted even the slimest chance of winning the competition. Unfortunately, no matter how she searched there was nothing stashed behind the vines. Perhaps there really was nothing there? But of course, Amane realised, merely hiding something behind would be too simple; likely the eggs were on top. But her energy was drained from her previous Aeromancy spell, and the disgruntled muttering at the corners of her mind were hints enough that the spirits were quite unwilling to afford her more aid. Stepping on the nearby pots, she reached as high up as she could, bracing her body against the wall as she did so. Her palm closed around nothing but stalks, leaves, and empty air. This was it, she wasn't willing to waste more time searching this area. One more try, and she was moving on. Tensing, Amane jumped up as high as she could go, grabbing onto the vines at the edge of the roof. With a tear, the plant gave way beneath her weight, and she fell along with it to the ground below. As the vine collasped, however, something plummeted down from above, and only Amane's reflexes saved it from smashing onto the floor. OOC: #7
Alpha dreamed of butterflies, rainbows, and unicorns. Well, if you were to be specific, it would be zombie butterflies, a double rainbow with killer leprechauns, and a mecha robot unicorn fighting to save the world from the clutches of a duck that can sing in five different tenors. Of course, she wasn't happy when she was woken up, having greatly enjoyed this spectacular charade of a dream. Terry had been pawing at him, three eggs in his muzzle. The rest of them were gathered up, surrounding Alpha and she could sense the agitation in their eyes. She got up and, with a warm-up stretch, bounced back. It was a good thing that beast-tamers had an instinctive connection with beasts and the like, otherwise she'd be stuck at a stand-still trying to differentiate and decipher the meaning behind their pensive looks. "Okay guys, area complete, let's move on!" she cheered before turning to yet another tree and, examining it closely, clicked her tongue. "This is the one guys, I can feel it!" she cheered and her enthusiasm proved to be contagious as they all whooped in unison (a weird array of squawks and barks had responded). Immediately, they all dispersed (Alpha included) and continued on their egg hunt. OOC: #15
Though his progress seemed a bit disheartening due to the endless flood of other adventurers joining in on the vent, Jack could only grit his teeth and hold fast while continuing to dart about Kit’s estate. Though perhaps he wasn’t the luckiest man alive, his hellish persistence would hopefully pay off. It wouldn’t hurt to dream, right? At least that’s what the dark haired man had to keep telling himself; otherwise he wasn’t entirely sure how to justify these borderline maddening actions… Still crawling about the estate, he’d continue searching fervently while gently combing through various bits of foliage and other nonsense. Considering how he had slowly begun to lose track of time, it all started looking strangely familiar. Much to Jack’s dismay, he wasn’t one hundred confident anymore as to whether he had searched an area before. At the very minimum, the man hoped that someone else hadn’t snuck in and cleared his current search area already as he’d continue to sift through with gloved fingers. This particular area (11) looked especially promising. Though hesitant to return back indoors, the man had no qualms with inspecting the woman’s front porch with due diligence! It was a simple enough task, right? Considering the lack of foliage and hiding spaces near the front door, all the man had to do was carefully inspect every nook and cranny. Perhaps Kit had swung by earlier in order to conceal some eggs? Hidden or not, the man could only try. Hopefully she wasn’t crafty enough to evade the keen eyes of ole Jack! OOC: (11)

Congrats, Jack! Walking up to you with a serious look, Kit did another one of her superhero like poses, doing a thumbs up, "Congratulations!~ You are the egg hunt master." And with that, she pulled three eggs out of the outfit she was wearing, setting holding them out in front of the man and Usami, who had been perched on her shoulder, gestured at them, "Now choose your prize." You have a choice from three eggs. These eggs are preset and will be available during all of Kit's posts, so do not worry too much about your selection. Cute Mystery Egg - This egg is a soft pink colour and sparkles a little bit in the sunlight. Tied around it is a pink ribbon that doesn’t seem to want to come off until it hatches. Makes you want to give it all the cuddles. (Obtained via the breeder. Gives 1 of 6 possible pets) Creepy Mystery Egg - This egg is jet black, and gives off a bad aura the closer you get to it. Actually, it seems to also be giving off some kind of smoke, but it doesn’t smell like normal smoke nor clog up the airways. Looks safe… Right? (Obtained via the breeder. Gives 1 of 6 possible pets) Mystical Mystery Egg - This egg is light and airy, and very gives off a very soothing aura the closer you get to it.
