    I'm looking for ideas on how to best process crafting orders that would take the least amount of work for staff.

    Feel free to pitch in.
     
  2. Let the players sort it out once material cost is set in stone. Easiest method. Make them create a transaction thread to record it/transfer currency or w/e is needed and archive somewhere visible once done.
     
  3. I don't think any of the players have the resources to open their own store right now, otherwise that would be supah sweet.

    If we start at the solution and work backwards though, it seems simple. Instead of buyers finding crafters, have crafters post that they're looking for purchasers, or have goods that are eitehr for sale, or in production.

  5. I'd suggest having an area to post requests for crafting. Then, the people with crafting skills can comment on that and name their price. Then the original thread poster chooses which crafter he or she wants, does the material exchange, and the crafter maybe writes a post in a "crafting megathread" if they want some MP for it. Then, the crafter tags a mod on the post so the mod gets the notification, says "payment received and item made", and the mod adds it to the player's inventory.
