  1. Maker, Pormont was all that he had ever dreamed of. Or so he had thought at first. The land smelt of eternal autumn, despite it being the hot seasons. When one found themselves wandering along through the world, they knew they had entered Pormont long before they saw the telltale gold. It was a the flavors of the wilds, dry reeds mingling with the fresh salt of the sea breeze, taking one's mind away to old tales of brave men and women landing on the frontier, trying to stake a claim. If you moved through the rolling lands, you could see their marks, scattered and broken along the backs of the great hill-beasts. Their shimmering pelts were specked with them; charred ruins of the long forgotten homes, and a few not forgotten, stood like memorial pyres. The spine of the humble mountains clawed at the great blue above, whispering tales of all they had seen come to pass in the awe-filled landscape below. And through all of that, the great sea, ever rising and falling with slow breaths, as silver as the hills were gold.

Akino's wooden sandals kicked lazily at a fallen beam, laying over the decayed remains of some family. The ivory of their skeletons danced bright against the ashes, wind whipping up the broken bits that had long ago been reduced to dust. It was a lonely resting place, but he knew they would not be alone for long. The salt and rains were doing a fine job of speeding up the cleansing of the beast, upon which he stood. Already, half of one child's skulls seemed to have blown away with winds, leaving it a hallowed cyclops, staring up into cerulean skies. The lone socket of the child was no longer dark though, but rather filled with a shimmering. And then a single drop would spill out of the gleaming eye, like the tears that never had a chance to be shed. The shimmering came from a pool of rain water that had collected within the bored out skull, likely home now to some organism or another. And so the cycle continued.

Turning away from those thoughts, he moved on to the low lands that rested between. This was where most of the settlers would make their homes, so as not to be caught out in the storms that rolled in off the sea. It was not the wisest choice, but it was worth it. The ground was more fertile between the hills, and occasionally the water would collect their to feed crops. But the gnolls knew all of this, which is why they often prowled within the low lands as well. It made for a very double-edged blade of chosen path. Still, despite seeing the countless corpses that littered the otherwise beautiful scenery, none of the NPCs seemed discouraged. They just kept on coming out and building, hoping the Adventurers would take care of gnolls sooner or later. Except the game was still far too new for anyone to prioritize something that seemed so meaningless, to most. Nobody needed to clear lands for NPCs, not when they had world bosses and dungeons and treasure to focus on.

That was probably why nobody was around when the fire started. The farm was a small one with a brightly painted post out front that read "Seijatachi Farmstead! Welcome!" in a blue that matched the skies above. Home to a family of four, the mother and father were both higher in their years than your average settler. Probably why the gnolls didn't stop and wait to see if they died in the fire, they just assumed. To be fair, Akino was assuming too. The grasses of the hills were dry in this time of year, and it was possible that a careless spark could have caught the house. Luckily for them, they were in a dip between a mountain and a hill, right beside some trees and a stream. From his place by the welcome sign, he could see the mother holding the two children by her side while Mister Seijatachi raced about like a frenzied rooster. Two buckets held in each hand, he filled them with a panic, glancing back at the fire as it continued to ravage the home. It was hopeless, but the man fought the fire still.

"Leave it be, Mister. It's about to collapse any moment now. Better to rebuild it once the blaze is through." Akino called out to him as he ran over, stopping his dance from stream to house. Ashes smeared the man's wrinkled face, and tears were welling in his eyes.

"I can't just abandon it! It took me a year to build this farm! It'll take me another one, maybe two, to build another, with my son gone-" The anguish and fear was too much for the redhead to stand. Reaching out and placing his hand on the smaller man's shoulder, he offered a gentle smile.

"I'll help you rebuild it, Mister. We can use the ashes from this farm to fertilize the surrounding area, and start an even larger crop! And look, you crop is still okay, it is just the building. But we'll put this fire out too, together."

"I don't have any money, though... I don't have anything, now!"

"I don't need nothin', Mister. Give me those buckets, got another pair? Good, we'll take turns."

They fought the fire for many hours, straight on through twilight and on into the morning. By the time they were done, they had abandoned their shirts and were covered head to toe in soot and ash. They looked as if they were warriors, painted for war; when Akino said as much, the two laughed together for a long while. And then they set about to rebuilding, salvaging what they could from the still cooling remains and clearing out the rest. It was during this process that Akino spotted a gloomy looking fellow wandering over the low lands as well. Figuring he was coming on over to see what all the smoke was about, Akino lifted his soot-coated palm to beckon him closer.

"Heyooooo! Think you could help us out? I'd owe you one, for sure!"

Mister Seijatachi didn't stop working, he was pulling a still smoking pillar from beneath a fallen wall by himself, and it was not going well. The children were by his side, now that the danger had passed, and Miss Seijatachi was bringing them water from the stream as they worked.

  2. Seto had been on the move for a few weeks since his last mission given to him by the Duke involving Katarina, since then he decided to go his own way to gather information in Pormont with Ursa since he needed to understand the area better. So far the journey was mostly boring, having dealt with little to no issues besides he occasional bandit or beast. After a few weeks in the low lands though, it became apparent Pormont wasn't a land built up or recolonized for the most part besides village in desolate locations, far and wide from each other, he didn't understand why the villages were so spread out in the first place. Spending days traveling, staying at inns in the villages, Seto eventually gathered enough information for his plans that despite showing huge potential in construction of structures, it's was mostly plains and grasslands, giving little strategic value for Seto although he did admit it gave him the same vibe Fuji, it was as he could describe it as peaceful as the air rushed against the acres of grass but he also knew from his information that this place was perfect for a battle, too perfect for cavalry. Seto alongside Ursa was walking down the dirt ridden road with three feet tall cobblestone walls running parallel alongside the road. The two had been walking down the road for the last few hours, taking breaks in between under the guise of a tree from the rays of the sun. Ursa had entered his service only recently a few weeks prior just before Seto decided to head out without Katarina and Yuuna but in the few weeks they had shared together, the two started to bond as they traveled, becoming good friends with Ursa taking her vow of fidelity far more seriously than before despite having taken it seriously.

Walking down the road, Ursa saw the smoke afar, immediately Ursa's sixth sense for danger began to pounce at her from within, she knew she something could be happening, she couldn't let her Lord come into harm's way or worse, be killed otherwise she would never be able to regain her lost honor she had a great time ago.
Ursa ran for the nearby hill, leaping over the cobblestone wall and up to to the hill, falling short the top so she wouldn't be seen. Her eyes peeped over the mountains revealing where the smoke had originated from, a farmhouse that had nearly burned to the ground. Sawing the wreckage, Ursa wanted to help but she knew she couldn't do anything until her Lord said otherwise. Ursa Shouted down the hill, aiming to get Seto's attention. "My lord! can you please come up here??!! I think you should see this!" Hearing Ursa's yelling disrupted his line of thinking which had slightly irritated him but he knew Ursa well enough by now that she wouldn't waste his time over something trivial although he did wonder why she wanted him to come up for. Looking up at her as she laid on the ground just below the top of the hill, Seto walked over to the cobblestone and slowly pulled himself over with his legs before simply walking up to the top of the hill showing the burnt farmhouse. Seto simply sighed seeing the site, she wasn't wrong for tell him although he had thought it be a tad more important and deadly then it happened. She looked up at him with a puppy dog like face. "My Lord, can we go down and help?"

Seto simply sighed again with his head lowered, he didn't really want to seeing it as pointless and a waste of time but he knew Ursa was a good person in general and over their time traveling together, she never once argued or asked for anything so he suppose he could let her have this one thing. As he looked back at her, about to speak he heard a voice from a man down the hill requesting help, It was Ursa's lucky day. Sighing and putting his palm of his hand on his face, He signaled Ursa to follow behind him. "Alright Ursa, you win this time, come on we'll see what the situation is down there." Ursa lifted herself off the ground, revealing herself to the others as she followed her lord down the hill and towards the farm. "Thank you, my lord, for understanding." Seto nodded his head in silence towards Ursa before the two made their way down the hill to the farm and approached the man that called out to him a few moments ago. Seto spoke in his usual dark demeanour, serious tone for a voice although it was never intentional. "What's the situation?"

  9. Akino didn't have any time to waste watching the two walk down the hill. Sure they weren't far off, but old man Seijatachi seemed like he was going to pull his back out long before the pillar. Walking over to the old fellow, he waved him and the children back for a quick second, taking a squat and grabbing the edge of the fallen wall. Lifting with his knees with a mighty "Heave ho!", he flipped the wall away, sending it down into the ash riddled field with a mighty loud smack. Black dust flew up and coated the family, and Akino, and they all began to laugh heartily. The children began to take their soot covered hands and paint each other, having innocent childhood fun as it were.

While the youths were going at it, Miss Seijatachi had gone off to get more water. This gave Mister Seijatachi time to thank Akino for all he was doing for them, and explain that he had no idea how to repay him. Akino, who was now fishing out the pillar that rested on his shoulder, simply laughed it off. The peace loving felis had no desire for anything, he existed only to help those in need. Even if they were being living in a fabricated universe. Smiling at Mister Seijatachi, he told him so.

"You can treat me to a good old fashioned meal, once we get this place back in shape!"

The man laughed at this, but did not offer any protest.

"You help me rebuild this place, and we'll put together a good ol' fashion feast for you, lad! And your friends too, if they're comin' t'help. Which they are, by the looks of it!"

"I am sure that they will be happy to lend a hand, once they see what fine people you are."

"You're too kind to us, boy."

    "No such thing, man."

They laughed more, and continued their labor. You've never seen anyone in such high spirits after a fire. As they continued hauling out the charred pieces of wood, some still sporting glowing embers, the golden-eyed adventurer would occasionally glance up to see if the adventurer was coming down to join them. To his surprise, he spotted another figure with him, a woman. That was a boon on his heart, because the more help they got, the sooner they could get the place built up again. As it was, the slow-going work of clearing out the wreckage was going to take them another hour or two. They were lucky though. Thanks to the efforts of the old man and Akino, the foundations of the farm were still in tact. Meaning they'd only have to build up part of the farm again, not the whole sha-bang.

It was a few moments later that the felis noticed the two were on the border of the property. The man, Seto, seemed very dark in soul, and this worried him some. Still, judgement was not his place, and anyone coming down to offer a hand had to be kinder than your average traveler. The female seemed light-hearted, despite her gloomy companion. Something inside of the redhead hinted to him that it was she who convinced the man to come down and help. Pouring the last of the drinking bucket's contents over his wild mane, then handing it back to the Miss, Akino turned and faced the two. Instead of waiting for them to come to him, he jogged up rapidly, droplets of water falling from his unclothed form. As he approached, the two would be able to see the crimson markings that moved across his form in swirls and odd symbols. It seemed as if they were permanent; they were not paint, nor tattoo work.

"Heyo, thanks for coming over! Not everyday you see someone this deep into the rural part of Pormont. If you two aren't doing anything urgent, we could really use some help. You both look like intelligent folk, so I am sure you can tell there was a fire here last night. We only just got it settled this morning, but there is still a lot to do before the folks can sleep safely again. But if you two pitch in, I'm sure we could have this place rebuilt by sundown! So what do you say, will you help us out?"

He was breathless from all the hard work in the sun, so the explanation came at the drop of a hat. Still, it was an earnest request, and a noble one. Hopefully these two had as much good in them as Akino was praying for. He added the last bit on as an almost after thought, placing his palm over his fist and giving polite half-bow to punctuate. His tail swayed about behind him as he did so, revealing the energy burning within him.

"I would be in your debt."

  10. OOC: I got lazy lol

Seto sighed at the prospect of doing manual labor for such a pitiful reason such as helping people with something like this, especially towards NPC's but Ursa gave him that look that was "begging to help". Looking over towards Ursa, gave returned the favor, sending her a "FINE" look from her face, this wasn't something Seto really wanted to do but it was far from the worst thing he had done on here. At least he get a meal out of it and maybe somewhere to sleep for the night which was always better then sleeping near the road around a fire even if it didn't bother him much. Turning his attention to the man, Seto crossed his arms as he spoke, talking about a structure that was burned down by a fire the night prior and if they could help rebuild the structure by sundown, oh boy this was going to bed Seto muttered to himself before he spoke to the man.

"Very Well we shall help you, I am Seto and this is my Housecarl, Ursa, pleased to make your Acquaintance."

As on cue, Ursa bowed before the man after Seto introduced to show respect before she pulled herself back up again next to Seto waiting for his orders. From the slight smile on her face, he could tell she wanted to help although he couldn't understand the reasoning behind it since Ursa wasn't one of the paladins in shining armor, it had to be some effort to regain some of her lost honour or something, Seto couldn't put his finger on it and guessing about wouldn't help, of course asking her was always a possibility since she couldn't say no to him. It was an unfortunate event he couldn't use magic either to help them rebuild this structure faster but construction was not something even forbidden magic could do. The thought of just leaving did run across his mind but he knew have to deal with Ursa's quiet complaining for doing so, he just rather not deal with her logic.

"Well Since the structural integrity is probably almost gone and were going rebuild this structure, we might as well tear it down what remains, and make it sturdier, it won't be hard gathering new materials since there are large trees out and about around the area. I would probably be better off gathering materials than actually doing construction work."

  17. Seto was probably right about this, though the optimist in him did not want to admit it. Still, it was true that the family would be better off with a reinforced version of their home, considering the last one bought it so quickly. It just wasn't what he wanted to tell the old man. Still, they had the extra hands now to get these tasks down far quicker. Three adventurers could chop down some trees pretty quick, if they put some bounce into it. If his memory served, he alone could cut down a twenty footer in about an hour with an ax. Three folks with with tools could get the job done in twenty. And if they really kicked it up, each working vigorously on a tree at a time, they could have 'em dropping like flies. Propping his hand on his hips, Akino considered how they might approach it. He wasn't sure if the old man had the tools for it. He'd never know if he never asked, so he nodded his head to Seto in a momentary agreement.

"You're probably right, friend. Rebuilding it on the whole is the best way to go, so I hope you are ready to work up one heck of swet. Just give me a sec to tell the old man."

Mister Seijatachi was still going at it with a fury, throwing burnt boards of wood to the side, though careful not to hit anyone with the flying bits. The kids were done playing for the moment, and were carefully wandering about the wreckage of their home, helping gather as much of their remaining belongings as they could. A great deal of what had been at the center of the home survived, they even found a few of their toys. Their father came over with a sprint upon hearing their shout, apparently they had found a chest of his. Akino followed, momentarily distracted and curious. They threw the beam that had collapsed over it to the side, before looking upon the welcome sight. The storage container had been coated with leather, but was made of metal and treated wood, luckily for them. The leather had come out crisp and bacon-like, but the chest itself was still entirely together. They squatted down beside it, give a one-two lift and moving it out in front of the ruins. Once the work was done, and his curiosity had driven the felis mad, Akino finally let the question slip.

    "So, what's inside this beauty?"

"Jus' 'bout every thing important to me, lad! Tools, family portrait that I had done back in Stokbon, me and the missus' wedding garb. Some things the kids made for me back when. But I heard you an' the fella o'er there talkin'. Y'all going to chop down some'o dem trees, eh? Well y'll be needin' these!"

As he was explaining the contents of the chest to the young man, he had begun rummaging through it. Indeed, the redhead had spotted quite a few objects of sentimental value, but of fiscal value the tools ranked highest. He had just about everything a farmer would need stuffed in there, though the majority of them were construction tools. Pulling out a few wood chopping axes, and a crosscut saw, the man threw them on the ground by Akino's feet, then whistled at Seto and Ursa, waving 'em over.

"God is good! To have let what was needed survive, I didn't dream of it! Sir, we'll have your home built up in no time at all! Hey, Seto, Ursa! We got the gear! You ready to get choppin'?"

    @Seto Kurama

OOC: Sorry about the wait, mon. Things got a bit hectic! And no worries about bein' lazy, keep your posts as comfortable as you want. I don't need twenty para, haha.

  18. Seto's eyes rolled to the right, crossing his arms as the man they just met, Akino ran a short distance to where the old farmer and his family gathered. Everyone was surprised that a chest somehow survived the fire, the leather cover it had to seal it was nearly burned away but the chest itself was fine, It must have been constructed out of metal for it to have survived Seto thought to himself although what came next surprised him a little, even Ursa gave in looking a little confused as well. Raising an eyebrow as the old man, Mister Seijatachi opened his old chest and went through it, explaining the items inside before throwing out a few axes near their feet then came
Akino telling them they were good to head out.

"We're ready to chop but those axes won't be required."

Seto turned around with his back facing Akino and the farmer's family, making a fist with his hand, he pointed to his Iron Odachi with his thumb with his other hand gripping the hilt. As he pointed with his thumb at the Odachi, the blade began to imbue faint ebony aura around the entire blade. Little did they know most likely that Seto was going to empower his sword with dark magic to tear the tree's down then manual chop it, that would take far longer than neccesary and frankly Seto didn't want to waste all day doing this. Ursa knew dark magic as well so she would be able to help as well even if she wasn't as skilled as he was in the dark arts, he wondered how Akino would take it when he saw them in action.

"We're going to head to the forest down the road a bit, that should make an excellent place to gather lumber considering it's only a several minute walk. Akino you coming or do you want to stay here? It doesn't matter to me if you want to tag along."

Seto waved at Akino and the farmers, signaling his departure from the farm temporary as he began walking up the farm's dirt path to the main road, Ursa bowed before turning around and running after him to catch up with him. "My Lord! pleeease wait for me!" Seto shrugged his shoulders as he grinned when he heard her voice, yelling out for him, it wasn't like he was sprinting so it would n't exactly take long for her to catch. Eventually, after a few minutes had passed by, they were out of sight from the farm and on the main cobblestone road, they spent several minutes traveling down the main road until they came upon the outskirts of the forest they had mentioned to Akino and the farmers. Seto had thought of abandoning those people but he always kept his word even if it made him cringe at times. While Ursa stood still near the road under a tree to watch for potential threats, Seto walked up to a large oak tree who considering its size, must have been nearly a century old. Drawing his Iron Odachi out of it's Saya on his back, he held it in both hands in a standard outwards offensive position. Taking in some air before slowly releasing it from his lungs, he slowly began collecting the mana through his veins as the mana ran throughout his body, channeling it into his very hands and by extension his blade, Seto slowly but surely changed the nature of his mana into the dark energies he could harvest for an attack. Cutting off the supply of mana coming into his hand from his body, he made the energy physical as his Odachi's blade took on a strong ebony aura. Twisting his hands horizontally, Seto yelled out "...REALITY SLASH!"

He swung the blade using all his might horizontally, the Odachi's ebony aura created one after the other, three mid sized magical slashes that looked similar to an animal's claw slashing at something.

The Three slashes in succession horizontally moved forward like an energy of destruction, moving at a speed a human could never match, the three slashes ripped through the oak tree and another one behind, bringing down both at the same time, causing a ruckus that could be heard for miles. While certainly effective for something like or as an attack, This was not a move Seto could use repeatedly as evidenced as he nearly fell on his behind after performing the attack spell.

  25. Akino watched the man, staring at him as he declared the tools unneeded. How else was he going to cut through the strong wood of the forest? As Seto hooked his thumb towards the fierce looking odachi on his back, the felis nearly burst out laughing. He was going to chop trees down with that pork sticker? It looked like it was more likely for the tree to chop it down! He wasn't laughing though, not after watching the blade begin to glow black. Being a spiritual man, and aware of the magic of this world, there was no doubt in the felis' mind over what that aura meant. Of course, the fact that the fur on his tail, and the hairs on his body, began to stand on end was also a pretty clear indication. Dark magic. That was the last thing the marked young man wanted to bring around these innocent folk. What with their recent ordeal, some wicked magic would likely send them into a panic. And a home built off the foul source? Surely that would only spell disaster for these folk again.

Still, he wasn't given a single moment to object. Only a moment after asking him if he was to follow, Seto turned his back on them and set off to the forest he had mentioned, his shield-bearer in tow. Within his gut, Akino began to feel a creeping sense of regret over calling the people over. Still, they had agreed to help already. What was he to do, turn them away? Surely that wouldn't be right, and might even offend the two. Ursa had, after all, seemed so eager to assist. On the other hand, what forces would the peaceful felis be bringing into the lives of Seijatachi and his family? Who knows what foul entity the dark magics would call out of the wood. Surely nothing good. But again, he had no chance to object. Seto was already down the road, on the way to the forest.

So, all Akino could do was bow politely to Mister Seijatachi and his family, who had been standing to the side and watching with curiosity.

"Well, it looks like we're off to get you that lumber. We'll be back in a jiff, so stay here and stay safe. Try to clear out the rest of that wreckage, if you can! I'm sure we can repurpose any of the surviving materials."

"Will do. Y'just be careful, lad. I don't know what it is, but that fella gives me a bad feeling. Sometin' not right 'bout that blade o' his." Old Man Seijatachi warned him gently, more worried about the adventurer than his own at the moment.

Giving a nod and reaching down to scoop up one of the wood chopping axes, he set off down the path in Seto and Ursa's wake. As he was getting on over to their position, he felt the earth jar as what was likely a tree crashed down into it, followed by another. Gauging from the force of the mini-quake, they were massive. Kicking it into a run, he broke the treeline and came across the two. Seto was swaying a bit, and their air was filled with a foul smell. The felis felt a bit relieved that he hadn't witnessed the attack itself, and the trees they had felled both looked to be more than enough wood to rebuild. But now there was other trouble at hand.

"Well, great job you two. Only one question. How are we supposed to carry these beasts back up the road? It may only be a few minutes away, but dragging that thing would turn minutes into hours."

    @Seto Kurama

  26. His shoulders slowly moving up and down, Seto was breathing heavily, inhaling large amounts of air before exhaling it repeatedly, trying to catch his breath. Reality slash while powerful takes a real toll on the user's body, first it saps away one's mana than it saps their HP when there's no mana left to pull from, as a result it was a double edged sword, powerful but could only be used a few times before it could become deadly to the user. Seto was barely standing with the tip of his Odachi touching the ground, Seto whipped away the sweat gathered on his forehead with his right hand as Akino finally caught up to him and Ursa. When he looked over to the Felis, he looked puzzled or relieved, Seto wondered why he made that type of facial expression in the first place? Was magic horrifying or something? It wasn't like he summoned a demon or anything. It must have just been the fact that he was using dark magic to do the job, he bet if it was any other magic, Akino and the rest of the family would have probably been fine with his magic, at least they recognized the potential danger he brought. Seto gathered his thoughts and took one last heavy breath in to calm his body down before speaking to Akino.

"Easy Akino....I'll use my magic to cut them down to size......Turn away or close your eyes, I have the gut feeling you don't want to see what am about to do."

Closing the distance between him the tree, he walked up to the tree, only six feet away from the wooden giant. Holding his Odachi forward again like his previous, Seto relaxed his body as he regained his breath from before. As before he began gathering the mana throughout his body and pushing into both of his hands before rushing it down his blades only this time it was harder as this time his body was more worn out than before. This time he would have to concentrate much more to move the mana from one part of his body to another, If he wasn't careful he could severely injure himself or possibly kill him. Completely zooming out everything around him including Ursa and Akino, Seto had started concentrating turning the mana from his body into the dark energies he needs to harvest as a weapon. Cutting the supply of mana off again, He turned the dark energies materialize as physical energy as it ripped down the Odachi's blade once more. Now in complete control, with his left hand on the bottom of the hilt and his hand holding the hilt as intended, he raised the blade high into the air, over his head. Gripping the hilt as hard as he could be brought down the blade vertically with all his strength as he yelled out "...REALITY SLASH!" once again. Same as before, The Odachi's ebony aura created three vertical magical slashes that flew fast into the tree, ripping it into multiple pieces that could be easily picked up with one or two people, The magical slashes continued however, smashing into another tree and ripping it apart before they faded away, apparently that tree looked as it cut enough where it's pieces could be carried by two people. When it's pieces fell to the ground, it didn't make the same noise as the last two trees did thankfully.

Fatigued even more so than before, Seto immediately fell to his knees with only his blade keeping him up from completely falling to the ground, he could definitely feel the after effects of that attack as it started to become harder to breathe. Looking over to Akino, he yelled out to him

"You can turn around or look, these two trees have been cut up enough for one or two people to carry. Ursa will help you bring these back to the farmers, I need....I need a break before I can do anything else at the moment. Just tell Ursa it was an order, she won't argue with you."

  33. Seto seemed truly exhausted, and Akino felt worry for the fellow man. He could feel the power that was being sapped from his body with the magic, and it was no small thing. If he went on that way, it was true as could be that he might die. And something such as this was not worth dying over. Especially when the same work could be done with simple, time consuming labor. If the man was in that much of a rush to get it done with, there were other means by which the task could have been sped up. None-the-less, Akino could appreciate his hard work, if nothing else. And if the man was truly willing to risk physical harm over something so meaningless as time, so be it. Hearing his words, the felis felt his hair stand on end more so. Was he truly going to use more of that magic, after being already so worn out? There was nothing stopping them from cutting it down together... He really was eager to get it over with. He needn't turn away though, so he only moved a few feet away and readied himself for whatever might come.

What followed was an awe summoning blast of energy, launching forth from Seto's blade like an unseen beast of some form. Perhaps awe summoning was not the proper expression, because it was more akin to horror that filled the man's heart. He had seen attacks just as powerful as it, of magics not nearly as dark or malevolent. If it was power this fellow sought, he should have known that dark magics would always fall short. While it could be supplemented with your life force, devotion to your mastery would yield far more power in the long run. A master of multiple magic form, who had trained for years, could do this damage seven times over and never die from it. Grow weak, yes, but not die. True, the risk to their life was there also. It was just not nearly as present as when one wielded darkness. More so, Akino wondered what affects might come from it, the non-immediate ones? The dark mass shred the fallen tree, severing it into movable pieces, and taking another tree to bits with it. They now had a stack of wood more than a few yards in both width and length, but they were down a man. Seto had fallen to his knee, and Akino felt a pang of guild for ever summoning him forth; if he had not, this man would not be exerting himself nigh to death.

Walking over to the kneeling magic-inclined warrior, he hesitated for a moment. Would it be right to offer any words of concern? Was it really his place, as a stranger to the man? Yes, because it was all of their duty to care for one another. Especially one who might be losing his path.

"Listen, be careful... That magic is strong, but deadly. And its burdens are more than seem apparent. You seem like a strong man, but a good one too. I would be sad to hear that you became consumed by the darkness, and lost your way. Or worse, your life. Watch out for yourself more. Don't throw your life away like it means nothing, because it means more than anything." Looking to Ursa then, he would nod to the nearest piece of wood, and began setting hooks and rope to it, so that they could begin their haul.

"Get plenty of rest, we'll be back in a little while. With some water and food, maybe." He add on, then nod to Ursa.

    "You ready?"

  34. 00C: Had to post this through my phone so it won't be my normal style, it's a major pain to get it posted

Seto sharply turned his head at Akino when he tried to give him a friendly warning about being careful. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but he was weaken significantly, He barley had the will to keep the demon in check due to using such dark energy. 0n the other side, This did not sit well with his vile side one bit, he would tell him. The Dark Descender's Black Hand of Judgement what to do? This was unacceptable beyond reason, The demon from within took orders from no one, living or dead besides one, the witch and that was only beacuse he was not powerful enough to counter her...yet. Seto contiuned to stare at Akino as his face went from tired to something dark, malious or simply Vile, so did his voice as well. No more could Seto could hold the demon back who was clawing it's cage, no instead the worse happened and unfortunetly no one could turn him back to himself besides himself for the most part, the only other person that could didn't even know his dark secret.

Vile Seto:" Consumed? Fool....I am it's master, I am the one who commands it to do my bidding. That man's will and his flesh is weak and untested, I am it's true pinnacle!"

Taking his glare off Akino as he told him to relax as him and Ursa decided to head back to the farm, Seto lowered his head pretending to take it easy although it that may have been hard to believe. Laying there against a stomp, an intensive dark aura began rising from his body as if his body was being cooked alive by a fire. He watched silently as Ursa and Akino picked up wood they could return with to the farm with before eventually departing. He was somewhat surprised for a few moments that Ursa didn't say anything but he knew by now, she must of have grown a custom to his other, darker side. Ursa wasn't much different from him either since she controlled dark magic just like him, the only difference was that she wasn't as efficent as he was in the dark art but he could thank the witch for that. As soon as the two went on their way taking their current hold of wood to the farm and got out of his sight, he raised himself out of his spot and drew his odachi from it's saya. unlike last time, Seto felt different, much different from before as the darkness flowed easily through him. This time Seto raced the mana from his veins running through his body and into his hands then his blade before completely stopping the flow like closing a door, he turned the abudenace of mana into dark energy and physical energy, only this time it would different. Impaling the blade deeply into the ground, from deep within, dark magic began seeping through the cracks from where his blade impaled the ground and formed a ritual like circle with multiple magic symbols filling up around the circle's edges as the symbols glowed white as the moon during a full moon. The center of the ritual circle was far different, far more vile in nature, in the middle where his blade impaled the ground, came a white eye with the entire circle black besides the edges black as the void. The rest of the spell came naturally to his mind as he said the magic words of the name's spell.

    Vile Seto:" DOUBLE MAXIMIZE MAGIC!"

Double maximize magic was a powerful dark magic spell that could also prove to be a double edged sword as most dark magic spells were. It would drain twenty five percent of your total health and put that twenty five percent into your mana, not to mention it made dark magic spells twice as powerful, inflicting double the damage, of course this would only be used with one spell than it would have to be performed again to use it.
