An engaging date

An engaging date

  1. Angel waited at the door of her apartment. It was still about thirty minute before when Aaron was supposed to come meet her, but nonetheless she was anxious. Within the world of Terrasphere, she and the man were engaged now. But here in the real world... what were they? They had gone on perhaps one date, and even then, it was really just them meeting and then logging into Terrasphere together. She sighed. She needed to be patient. She could be patient.

She paced. She couldn't be patient. She checked her phone multiple times, cursing how poor her signal was in her apartment. Messages could sometimes take several minutes to arrive, or not arrive at all. When she moved somewhere else, she would have to make sure that such a place had better signal.

She frowned. Moving. She would have to move soon. At the end of the month, in fact. And to make matters worse, her work closed down. Her lease and her job, ending within a month of each other. And since her hours had been slowly ding for a while now, she hadn't been able to find another place she could afford.

She groaned. Today was supposed to be exciting! Happy! She had gotten engaged! Not in this world, sure, but in that other one! Did that mean anything! She sighed. Should she tell Aaron about her loss of job, and her living issues? She paused.

She had to move. She could move closer to him... was this an oppertunity, rather than a problem? She groaned again. "I can't even figure out how I feel about this, I need to know if I should feel upset or glad, I don't like being both!" She shouted.

Angel sat down on the floor, hard. "Please hurry, Aaron...." she muttered.

  2. As he logged off the game the male quickly hurried. Making his way out of his gym, leaving his partner in charge. Racing as he ran towards his house up the block; oh how he regrets leaving his car at home. None the less he'd make it there in a few minutes as he dashed up and towards his apartment, he'd arrive just a few minutes later. Altogether it had been roughly fifteen minutes, not a long time but long enough. Having made it inside he'd quickly remove his clothes tossing them about as he walked past his sister, "Yo...date...pick out clothes for me." he'd say as she played on her phone a bit and sighed, well nice to see you too bro. Love Ya... Pausing what he was doing he'd sigh, "Sorry...I didn't mean to come off harsh, but I kinda asked that girl sera to marry me in the game." he said as she jumped up shocked, SHUT UP! No way and now yall are going on a date. Go shower smelly I'll get your outfit picked out. As he rushed off she'd go to it. He himself showering quite quickly and shaving, he couldn't forget to shake. His body all squeaky clean and smelling fresh; hairless. He'd stretch some yawning as he exited the bathroom and walked out into his room to see the clothes laying down. Grinning he'd dry off get dressed and freshen up some. Leaving his room dressed like a model he'd look for his sister to thank her before walking into a room with his sister who was under the covers with her boyfriend, "Really...couldn't wiat..fuck knocking this is my house. Anyways thanks and here.."

    He'd say tossing a condom at her, "Make sure you're safe I won't let you live here with children. Babies aren't my thing...vile leeches." he'd say jokingly before shutting the door behind him and taking off. Heading down stair to his car he'd hop into it and drive off patiently towards the train from New York to Boston, the one that sera took before and the one that Alonso takes often some magnet lev or some shit. None the less arriving he'd get on the train, his eyes looking to the time. If shit went smoothly he'd be there a half hour before schedule if he was a bit late, he'd tried to calculate the time in case of stops or shit happening. Thankfully, however, the thing seemed to move super smooth and he'd arrive in New York not far from her place. Once there he'd smile and text her;

    Mail

Hey beautiful almost there, just got to new york. So give me like 20?

He'd send the message hoping she might not be too freaked out at how early he was there. None the less the male made his way as fast as he could towards her apartment arriving in relatively no time flat. Standing just outside the door he'd hear her complain, "Really, I just got here and already you're upset with me" he'd say though the door teasing as he leaned against it, having been a few minutes late to being early. "I'm not even supposed to be her for another five minutes..." he said laughing and opening the door, "Also you left the door unlocked, but yeah. Sorry I stopped for flowers and chocolate, not use to the whole dating thing, figured you might enjoy something sweet and as beautiful as you before we leave...umm" he said looking at her house, "Did you get robbed or are you moving" he'd say inquiring some.

As the two talked he'd nod and let it be as she explained or moved on from the question, the time shifting he'd look at his watch, "Well we better get going to dinner, or this movie will be much later and I don't want to keep you up past your bed time. Let alone drive that train home after midnight, your city seems sketchy and I'm unfamiliar, keep me here too long and I might have to stay the night." he teased as she leaned in to kiss her forehead, unsure if they were at the actual kissing phase but wanted to explain the emotions he felt and show her he cared deeply. His hand reaching out to hold her hand he'd smile, "So are we going to head on out or what?" he'd ask curiously as the male took her hand and would lead her out, waiting for her to lock up as they walked down to the lobby, "So, you never really talked much about real life, tell me about yourself. Tell me about my angel?" he said blushing a bit, "I mean...you know what I mean." he said flustered as he rubbed the back of his head feeling like an idiot; god was this embarassing.

OOC: Sorry was posting and got distracted.

  3. Angel grimaced when the man mentioned she left her door unlocked. "I mean, I unlocked it because I knew you were coming, but yeah, I realize that was stupid..." she shook her head. She looked at the flowers and the chocolate, and put on the straightest face she could. "So you're one gift is things that are doomed to die a slow painful death, and for the other, you didn't bother to ask if I was on a diet, or lactose intolerant..." she burst out laughing, taking the chocolate and flowers from the man. "I'm sorry, I always wanted to mess with someone like that. They're beautiful, and I love flowers, and I love chocolate."

When he asked about her house, Angel frowned a bit. "Well... That's what I wanted to talk to you about..." she raised her arms, and then let them drop, smacking against her side. "Uh, I lost my job today, and my apartment lease ends at the end of this month, and I haven't been able to find a new one," she said, spilling it all out, despite having intended to only give a little at a time. "So I'm getting a head start on packing, cause I still have about three weeks, but yeah..."

"Oh, New York is extremely sketchy," she agreed. "There's this urban legend about a girl who goes on online games, gets men to propose to her there, then lures them to her apartment right before she gets moved out, and makes them take her out on a date. Scary things. You might wanna stick close to me, just to be safe," she said, nodding bravely.

She frowned when he kissed her forehead. Putting on her best pouting face, she looked him in the eye. "You missed," she said simply. Whatever he did from there was up to him, but she had a hope.

She chuckled at the man's play on words. "I know what you mean. Angel, angel, I heard it a lot. Well... I was born to two farmers. Grew up in Delaware. Hated it. Moved to New York. Kinda dislike it. Like that it's more active, though. I love comic books, mostly DC, but I enjoy both. Clark Kent and Lois Lane are my OTP. I work..ed... at a book store, but it's closed now. Uh... whole life story could get hard to tell. Is there anything specific you want to know?" She asked him.

When he was ready, she would show him on her phone the map to where the restaurant was. "It's only about a fifteen minute walk, and through the safe part of town too!"

  4. As she seemed to scold herself when he did he would shake his head and hug her, "I was only teasing, don't be so hard on yourself." he'd say rubbing his head some as they talked and he offered up his gifts, her words catching him off guard, "I'm sorry, I just thought.....fucking aye. Not nice...I'm going to get you back for this.." he said with a grin poking at her side, "I'll make sure it's when you least expect it." he teased a bit more poking her again, testing if she was ticklish, a harmless and juvenile way of flirting. Perhaps showing his innocent side; it had been a while and he hadn't dated since high school so he'd reverted back to his youthful ways. Teasing and flirting with her, yet it ended as scanned about the apartment confused, he asked about the home and listened to her talk a bit. "I....I'm sorry. Why didn't you call me sooner? I could have set my place up and...no that's weird right, becoming room mates when you are trying to date?" he'd say confused, "Either way I know people in Boston who can help set you up with a place to live and a job. Hell half my gym is filled with high paying clients always trying to pull favors for extra work out sessions and free guidance, I'm sure I could pull some strings....who knows you might being a Bostonian." he teased poking her side before speaking again "I mean after all we could spend more time together, hang out, work out and go on more dates easier, not waiting forever for me to arrive." he said teasing her further before tapping her nose.

As he responded further about the move, explaining his desire to avoid the sketchiness of New York he'd smile as she soon spun some sort of tale, "Oh, is there....I better do just that. Thanks for the warning love. Although I can't wait to hear more about the story, does she take them home after the date goes well and lead them to the bedroom...maybe gut them alive and put their body parts in jars...or does she take it slow and fuck them stupid before killing them in their sleep, a bit of pleasure before fun...wait, she must be a killer cuz it's legend right. Please don't let her get me. I'd be lost without you, imagine me meeting her and then she takes me away from you." he'd say teasing her, "How sad would you be a widow in the game." He then laughed and kissed her forehead but noted her face, "What...I didn't believe me if I kissed the lips I'd want to, we'd never leave the building. Besides those lips won't substitute for it just yet. I'm waiting for the right time. Rumor has it in Boston if you kiss a girl you like at the right time on her lips and just the right way you can make her fall in love. So I'm going to take that gamble. The rule states it has to be their first kiss though so forgive me." he said ruffling her hair as he walked her out

As the shared minor stories he'd laugh and shake his head, "Oh, so you're my mortal enemy. I'm a die hard Marvel fan. I am not totally against DC though. However, I do like the pairing of Supez and Lo, but Batman is simply number one in all of DC. I mean he was a man who became a god. Supez was just born one, no fun. But as you know for Marvel, I'm a die hard Deadpool fan. Especially Ryan. Fuck, I'm not gay or nothing but I'd fuck him stupid. He is a stud and everyone knows it. Wolverine's actor Jackman ain't bad either but I can't imagine him taking it and I won't receive so...ryan it is." he said teasing knowing he was a favorite of hers, "So he is allowed in all of our three ways if it ever comes up." he said nudging her side some as the walked wherever she leads them to this dinner date. "I don't have anything in particular. I mean, I'm single, never been married. Have no kids, a virgin. Work out a lot. Loved by many ladies. Have a kid sister I help take care of who lives with me; a bit of a whore but that's her life style I just don't like it. But that's what you get when your mother flakes and your dad was an abusive piece of shit who beat her and you nearly snapped his ne...."

He'd pause where he was, "Sorry....dark path didn't mean to scare you." he said rubbing the back of his head; this was awkward. "So this is the safe part of town; not that I'd worry being in the dangerous part. I can defend myself quite well. I think some of the moves and muscle memory have carried over from the game." he'd jokingly say acting out some of his moves; shadow boxing an invisible enemy looking like a total geek but a hunk none the less.

  5. Angel squealed at the man's touch of her side, revealing that she was indeed ticklish. "Stop!" She said with a laugh, but it didn't actually bother her. When he responded to her problem with work and a living situation, she frowned a bit. "Well... I only lost my job today. While I still had it, I figured I would keep trying to find an apartment around here, so I could keep working there. But now... yeah, there's nothing keeping me here. I could become a Bostonian, but... I don't know if I want you pulling favors for me. I don't want to owe you, not this early on. I don't want to do that to our relationship, does that make sense?" She asked.

As he asked more about the "urban legend", Sera couldn't help but grin. "Even worse! After she finishes the date with them, which by then is at least their second, and she does indeed go on a third immediately after to a horizontal surface of some kind, she continues to seduce them until she does the worse thing anyone could ever do! She convinces them to help her pack up all her belongings and help her move!" She gasped in mock horror. "If they don't mind too much, that is, because she's tiny, and she typically seduces guys that are big, strong, and muscular," she said, putting her hand on Aaron's muscles. "It's so weird, you're so much her type. Yeah, you definitely need to stick close to me."

When the man decided not to kiss her on her lips, she put a hand on her hip. "Alright, if that's how you wanna play, hard to get and all that. Not sure if you need the extra help though," she added, the last sentence a bit quieter. She laughed when they moved on to superhero talk. "Okay, I'm up for a game if you are. I told you I'd be wearing a superhero shirt underneath this button down shirt I'm wearing. Guess which superhero it is, and you get a prize, anything you want, within my power to give," she said, turning her voice all stuffy and official toward the end. "I'll give you... hmmm... three guesses, as well as a hint that it's not Deadpool." When it moved on to their lives, Angel cleared her throat when the man described his. "Really, you're single? That's news to me," she said. She knew what he meant, she just wanted to give him a hard time. "As for me, I've also never been married, also don't have any kids. Uh... that third part... I have been with a girl before, but never a guy. Is that an issue?" She asked. She decided not to comment on the rest he had shared. Like he said himself, 'dark path', and there was no need to dwell on it if he didn't want to.

She laughed when he displayed how much of a dork he was by basically punching the air. "I'm sure that scared off anyone we'd have to fear," she said. "Such a brave warrior like yourself."

When they arrived at the stake house, Sera approached the table. "Table for two, under 'Phim'," she said.

The woman at the counter looked. "It'll be just a few more minutes on your wait, we'll seat you soon,"

Angel walked back to where Aaron was. "I used my in game name," she said with a shrug.

  6. As he tickled her and got her to jump about he'd never stop; well had he knew she'd eventually get tired of him or pee herself. So he'd stop collaborate and listen..well not really but as he heard her words rejecting his offer, but not the idea he wanted nothing more than to object, to set her straight to tell her it was silly, he wasn't that kind of guy. But he remembered she was hurt, he wanted to take it slow. His request and offer were anything but slow; the game was a big enough movement for her as it was, so he'd nod and stay silent respecting her boundaries. Yet as they had continued on with their quest and made it outside his banter and the teasing he'd done to mock her seemed to the only progress further the reason to tease, "Oh is that so...well maybe I should meet her, teach her the ways of light. She seems deep into the dark, almost like you..." he teased leaning down kissing her head. "But that's troublesome me being her type and all. Glad your here to protect me." he'd say laughing at her annoyance towards his lack of a kiss, "Fair enough, but once I start kissing I don't like to be in public. Mama always said kissing could get a girl pregnant." he'd say in a fake southern accent teasing and hinting at his goals. The fun little game about the guessing my hero he'd arch a brow and make a face, "Not Deadpool then already I'm disappointed. Well, my guess would be supez, cuz everyone is a pleab if it's not that you're a true fan. Maybe your into batman...then that seems kind of dark. However, if I was to make my last and final guess Maybe one of the lanterns since your nerdy ass totally made Sera one. Just saying. I noticed..."

As they passed onward through the safe part of town he'd laugh and poke her side again, "we gonna start that now? I swear I'll make you pee yourself.." he said joking as he bit his lip some before sweeping her off her feet and carrying her a bit as he walked over a puddle. "Yeah, been trying to ask this beautiful goddess out, but shes a bit of a princess. So I can't just ask her out. Need a few dates first and time to pass. Her folks are old fashion, like farmers and shit. But I don't know maybe you can relate." he said smiling. Placing her down once across and he was done teasing his princess. He'd continue on with their discussion his dark past raising as he shifted his eyes, "Oh..well, that's great wait you are too. I'm shocked, although you've only been with a girl.." he'd blush, "Yeah, didn't need that thought going to dinner, damn. Well save that for later and put a pin in that part of our discussion. Glad to know we'd be each other's firsts should it get there." he'd say teasing, after all, how could he play hard to get if he just took her right there and now. His face flustered he'd try to change subjects and shift attention Yet once he started to shadow box air he'd laugh at himself and her words, "Take it easy their princess. We aren't at that other castle just yet." he'd tease his hands sliding over to hers lacing them as they walked in briefly before she disengaged.

Watching her walk off he'd nibble at his inner lip, what a body and a perfect little ass. Her comment earlier in the night about behinds fading into his thoughts and perversion, "Dear god...sorry." he'd say as he shifted his attention to the other as she returned. His eyes focused on her face now, "I wasn't looking I swear..." he said almost instinctually to avoid a scolding for his eyes, "Oh yes the table. Wait, are you serious? and you call me a geek." he teased as he ruffled her hair, "Thankfully I'm not the kind so easily turned on or I might have to reconsider my prior plans. My lord are you such a sexy little geek, tell me where you born this way or did it happen at the farm." he said teasing a bit more, this was too perfect, "Let me guess, it all happened back when you were nine and became a lady. Such a serious role that played such a great importance in your life...I envy you. I wish matured so young...although I am still maturing, I'd probably be 98 or something and still immature, rolling up on these mobs in the sphere. Assuming it's still around, but totes playing with the grand kids. Assuming I met the right lady and such." he said blushing embarrassed as they called out table for Phim, "Actually that's Phim-Steele. We just got married." A faint smile passed as she congratulated her and noticed the ring he'd slipped on her finger,

"Yeah, you see it was my great, great grandmothers passed down generation to generation from great Britain just after the second world war...so it's not the most elegant but it's meaningful." he'd say as he spoke some truths in his lies before all at once they were brought to the table and given a free bottle of wine a faint smile passed as he looked over to her and put his hand out, "I didn't mean to surprise you but I thought it might be cute to reenact our first date some. Besides free drinks right?" he said some smiling as he tried to hold her hand with the ring, "Honestly though, that ring's story is legit. I've been waiting to put that ring on a woman's hand a long time...just didn't think it would be to get free drinks." he said laughing and teasing her, "You can keep it on til I leave, unless your version of slow involves marriage after date three, I doubt it but it's a funny thought" he said being realistic although enjoying their time.

  7. She laughed at the man's three guesses, and the disappointment that it wasn't deadpool. "Well, my shirt might not be Deadpool. Doesn't mean nothing else isn't," she said. She raised her finger and wiggled it at Steel. "But, there are nine different types of lanterns. I will admit you guessed right on that, but which of the nine?" She asked. She grinned. She knew this totally might not be fair. But she was curious to see if he could guess.

Angel raised a coy eyebrow when the man said he was trying to ask out a goddess. "Well, yeah, I can relate a bit. I've been trying to get this guy to ask me out. He's a real musclehead type. Runs a gym, always talks about how he's gonna be my 'light' to protect me and all that. As much a pervert as he is chivalrous, though. It's that dichotomy that made me fall for him. Honestly, if he waits too long to make a move now, I think I'm just gonna have to bed him, and hope that gets me somewhere," she winked. "Course, he needs to take me to dinner and a movie first."

She scoffed when the man said he wasn't looking. "You weren't? I'm offended. And questioning your attraction to women. I didn't get dressed up, or at least as dressed up as I could with most my clothes packed, for you to not admire me." She sighed and shook her head, placing a hand on Steel's shoulder. "Let me give you some advice about women. If we're strangers on the streets, or only casual acquaintances, yeah, we don't want you looking. If you're a friend, we can forgive it. If you're a close friend, we'll take it as a compliment. If we're on a date... we want you to."

Angel blushed and hid her face when the man said they had just gotten married. "You asshole," she murdered under her breath, laughing slightly. He was recreating their first date, wasn't he? When they were seated and he explained the ring, Angel shook her head with a chuckle. "Oh my goddess, Aaron," she said. She admired the ring a bit. "It's beautiful. But if it is your grandmothers, you really shouldn't be putting it on me just to get free drinks, which, by the way..." she reached into her purse and pulled out her license. "I can't technically have any," she said. "I'm only twenty."

When the waiter came over, Sera requested a soda, showing her ID that she couldn't have the wine, as well as placing her order for a steak, cooked medium. "This was a cute idea," she said. "Recreating that date." She smiled at him. She wasn't quiet as confident here as she was in Terrasphere, but she wasn't particularly nervous either. "After our movie, I have a surprise for you. In game," she said.

  8. As his guesses had yielded some sort of momentum he'd frown at her words, the only ones he knew of were the ones from the old television shows and movies. But banking on her being a Ryan fan he'd take a shot in the dark if not cheat himself at an unfair secondary requirement. "Hal Jordan?" he said hoping she might give him a sympathy reward for his clever response. Yet whether she did or not wasn't his call, either way, he'd smile at her response to calling her a princess and goddess her words making him bite his lip more as she spoke, god was she a tease." Oh really, good to know." he played it off trying to be cool as they moved on wards with their actions, his face frowning at being scolded; although he figured she was teasing, "I mean....eye spy with my little eye a curly hair cutie I could turn into my wife..." he said trying to save himself, remembering an old song that he heard a few days ago. His hand shifting to her as to make up for it trying to lace fingers. Yet another save attempt would his dice roll prove successful? he'd chuckle to himself in his head about that thought yet remained focused on her and his actions.

Once inside and pulling his scam he'd laugh and roll his eyes, "Oh come now, I'm totally not recreating our first date as a romantic gesture. Although to be fair last time you provided the ring, so I thought it only fair this time I do so, great grandma would be proud though, she loved drinking and could hang with the best, had I put it on a light weight she might be mad....wait are you serious..." he'd say rubbing the back of his head, "Well, RIP that plan..." as the waiter came over. Ordering the same, "You have good taste, I'll take the same, I mean after all you found me worthy enough for your pallet and I'm amazing." he'd say boasting a bit to tease her and maybe get a reaction or two out of her. His hands reaching across the table he'd smile and gaze into her eyes lovingly, "Oh wait, a reward? What kind, does that mean it was Hal Jordan?" he'd say some more as he shifted the topic once more, "So, you frequent here often. It seems nice and your choice was quick not too expensive either, kinda surprised, I'm paying after all. Eat up love, you looking a bit thin, you're stressed out and well quite frankly. If what you say is true you'll need all the energy you can get." he'd say drinking some of that liquid courage before looking away and biting at his inner cheek some as their food was still cooking.

"So Ser....Angel. Almost mixed that up a bit. Must be that thing CNN was talking about. What are your thoughts on that? Have you found yourself feeling a bit...different." he said some looking embarrassed some, "I found that berserk has made me more into pain and it walks a fine line with pleasure. Let alone the feeling of Tyl or some higher power out there watching over me. I find myself more faithful or believing more in a higher power. Not sure why but it's a weird feeling. I was relatively just a karma guy but maybe it's more..." he said as he rubbed his head some, "Sorry, just these thoughts and such have been a burden, forgive me for overwhelming you love. So any kind of hint about that surprise later. I mean I want to see Wonder woman three just as bad as you but if I can play around with wonder woman in some sort of mission or such maybe It might be worth getting to sooner than later." he said teasing, "Although being the Man of Steele isn't something I'm objective of, I like the Wonder x Supes combo." he said hinting at the two of them perhaps roleplaying a bit in the game in the future. "But hey, we don't need to even acknowledge that idea."

He'd say his attention shifting once more towards the other as he let go of her hand once a small order of bread arrived and an onion like thing, Steele's jaw dropping, "OH MY LORD...Is this....How did you know...If I wasn't contemplating this nostalgia face fuck my throat I'd show you the inside of that bathroom and put my baby inside you already..." he said bluntly digging into the deep fried onion; even its taste was similar to the outback one he ate as a kid. Eye watering as he savored its flavor he'd tap a waiter on the side, "Please...one more I can't stop myself..I'll eat it all by myself." he said before digging into it once more; totally pigging out before noticing he ate haf of it by himself, eyes shifting over to her and frowning, "Sorry...." he'd say swallowing his mouth no longer full. "I'm a fattty for stuff like this...want some?" he asked as it was nearly gone thankfully the second was coming out and they brought dips this time too; his eyes lighting up he'd bow to it almost as if to show his worship, "Oh sweet mother of christ where have you been my whole life..." he said as he caressed some of the onion, "Oh baby I'm gonna swallow you whole and not waste a drop of your sweet tender nectar; by the gods you're entire being will mend with mine." As shit turned weird with steele he'd not realized and continued for a bit more before blushing and stopping to eat bread instad, "Sorry..."

  9. "Not Hal Jordan," she said, shaking her head. "But I guess that means I should specify. There are nine different types of lanterns. Black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet, white. Each stands for a different part of the emotional spectrum. Oh god, I'm a nerd..." she blinked. She grinned when he started playing I Spy with her. "Yeah? Where is she? I might wanna get a look at her too," she teased. "But I spy with my little eye... someone who I've already said yes to once today for that idea," she reminded him.

Angel laughed when Aaron asked about the reward. "Not a reward, and it wasn't Hal Jordan. Though, I'll let you have two more chances, and we can add the reward on to the surprise if you want." She smiled. "The surprise isn't something I owe you. It's something I want to give you," she said. "But no, I don't come here too often. Just enough to know they have good steak. I go for medium because any rarer I get a bit sick about the blood, but any more cooked and it loses flavor, might as well be a damn McDonald's burger without the bun. Which, don't get me wrong, when I'm in the mood for a McDonald's burger, I love me a McDonald's burger. Just not when I want a steak."

A single, soft laugh escaped her lips when he mixed up her name. "It's okay. I call myself Sera a lot too. Sera's the name I've always used for games and stuff. Came from an old story my dad tried writing back when he was in college. Funny enough, that story had an Aaron in it, but they were siblings," she said. When he mentioned the effects Berserk was having on him, she couldn't help but grin mischievously. "Is that you're not so subtle way of saying you're into really kinky shit, and you're gonna try to blame it on a video game thing?" She asked. She grew a bit more serious. "Though I know what you mean. I've gotten more confident since I've been playing that game, and I keep trying to talk to Roy in real life..." she paused for a moment. "Ah, now I'm really curious. Are you into kinky shit?" She asked, leaning closer. "As for SuperWonder, like I said, I prefer Clark and Lois. In cases like the inJusticeverse, where Lois is no longer in the picture, yeah, SuperWonder is a good substitute. Also, no. No hints about the surprise. At least not directly."

She laughed as the man practically made verbal love to the onion thing. "I only like onions on things, not really by themselves," she said. "That motherfucker is all yours, go to town, just remember we're in public and don't get arrested for anything," she laughed again. "As for myself, I'm gonna wait for nice thick and juicy meat to come and get that all inside of me, filling me up," she said with a teasing smile and a wink.

  10. As she said no he would rub the back of his head,"NO credits for knowing his name...then again he was the green lantern, you don't seem that basic. Although in game you draw darkness you don't seem a black lantern" he'd shrug and guess the basic, "Red lantern, you enjoy utilizing fear to destroy your enemies or was that orange.." he said not entirely sure as he shrugged, actions following through he'd shake his head, "It's an old song, love, although thanks for the reminder." he'd say grinning wide. as the moved onto and into the restaurant; their banter subsiding he'd rub the back of his head. "So not Hal...I'd like to phone a friend. I know this girl Angel, really cute great at this sort of thing. For A million dollars and the sake of using these lifelines now, I'll do my 50-50, then ask the audience and finally call Angel." he said cockily trying to get his way to win whatever it was she was offering; he wanted it and didn't even know what it was. Looking at her shirt, he'd try to cheat squinting for any hints, "Totes not trying to see your shirt, just them tits..." he'd say lying playfully as he then shifted focus to his other actions laughing with her, "Please no Mc Donalds talk I'm actually enjoying my food." he'd say teasing his brow arching.

"Your father wasn't the milk man back in Boston for a brief time after the war..." he teased before looking at her, "cuz this could get weird...but I'd still marry you," he said laughing checking another mark off his bucket list for is weirdo love interest. Eyes meeting as he simply gazes into them while she talked he'd respond as needed. "Well, not that I wasn't before but it wasn't anything like this, not now at least. Literally, I had the bar fall on my chest and I had the urge to destroy the closest thing to me. Luckily I've known my receptionist for a while and wasn't so foolish. Otherwise, I'd have some confessions to divulge right now." he'd say laughing a bit nervous unsure if the joke was too much. Yet his face shifted as he heard her mention Roy, "Wait who the fuck is Roy...never mind not my place." he said some sighing embarrassed that he was even jealous of who could be her brother or father, a gay friend maybe. "Anyways, yeah, I'm into a bit of things. Although I do see you as more of a wonder woman than a Lois Lane." he said some his hands squeezing hers before his topic shifted his blooming onion like treat appearing as he went full-fat kid when given that sweet good-good. His mind lost until he apologized, his face blushing as she then teased back, his jaw dropping he'd almost drool some. "Oh....go on, pry tell?"

he'd say some swallowing hard as he bites hard into the bread a loud crunch was heard as he seemed to chew intensely in silence. It wouldn't be too long before they knew it and all of a sudden the two would be given their true male, biting into the steak not even cutting it; the male was a true barbarian. his lips curling to grin, juices rolling down his lips and chins some he'd look at her and finish chilling trying to figure out why she was staring. "What...do I got something on my face?" he said laughing wiping as his mug, "Oh looks who is talking, it's right...no right here..." he'd say some as he leaned over to wipe juice from the corner of her mouth; part of him wanted to steal a kiss but alas it was not the time. At least not yet, he'd thought to himself. Leaning back he'd peck at the onion some more and eat the steak, "It's not bad, but I could show you some real steak. Thicker, meatier and sure to fill you to the bring ready to explode; but I doubt you could handle it." he'd say some teasing her as he tried to play it off as both a pervy statement and the truth; a place back home in Peabody in a town not far from Boston had some amazing food; Londi's well closer to danvers but still it was worth the trip. He'd smile thinking about it. "Now, what do you say we finish up this meal with a bit of desert, then make our ways to that movie," he said some his hand holding hers again, stealing it to hold and rub his thumb against it An old fashion and devoted hopeless romantic he wanted to show her love in as many ways as he could. So as he nibbled at his lips he'd look to the side and slowly mumble some, "Or we can skip it and go to the movie grab our sweets there instead..." he'd say hoping for the later; he was impatient with surprises and games. His desire to open his gifts was like that of a child at his birthday.

OOC: Sorry they are slow; kinda brain dead and trying to make them perfect.

  11. Angel chucked a bit as the man revealed he didn't know much about the lanterns. That was probably fine, she knew she was a nerd. "Alright, listen up. So red is the color of the emotion of rage. Orange is greed. Yellow is fear. Green is will. Blue is hope. Indigo is compassion. Violet is love. The black lanterns are undead who feed on the other seven emotions. White lanterns are the rare individuals who have mastered all seven of the main colors, and can use them all, representing life in its entirety," she told him. "So with that, info being spoon fed. One guess. Of all the lanterns, which do you think I am?"

When he asked for more help, she chuckled. "View it as a test of how well you know me. You ever seen me act out of anger? Do I seem undead to you? How about a master of emotions and life?" She laughed when he moved closer to stare. "Well, you've bought me dinner, I really can't object," she said. Her buttondown shirt was thick, but it was a light color. He would be able to tell that the shirt she had on underneath wasn't Between black or green, and it wasn't white either. Which of the other three was still up in the air, as shades of blue, indigo, and violet could run into each other pretty easily.

Angel shook her head when he asked about her father. "Farmer his whole life, never a milkman," she said. She grinned again when the talk turned to less child-friendly topics. "So is that a yes? You are into that?" She waggled her eyebrows. Her expression turned to a frown when he asked who Roy was. "I could have sworn I've introduced you to Roy. Roy G. Biv? He's the little floating prism that lets me contact my Astramancy patrons," she said. "He's technically not alive himself, so it's really the equivalent of naming my cellphone, but if my cellphone was always in use with nine people, seven of whom spoke at the exact same time about most things. I kinda just refer to the whole bunch of spirits as Roy, too... so it's the prism and the spirits."

She mused for a minute about being wonder woman rather than Lois Lane. "Well, in a lot of the alternate universes, Lois actually does get powers as well, and becomes Super Woman. Not quiet 'wonder'. In one, though, Wonder Woman and Lois Lane were mixed into one person, but that universe was so backwards that the entire Justice League was evil, and Superman was instead called Ultraman. I... I am really showing my nerd side, aren't I?" She asked.

As they ate, Sera didn't really care that he didn't have much manners. She was raised in the south. Manners had a place, but not when it came to steak. As such, she ate as messily as he did. When he reached to wipe off the part of her face, she caught his hand though. Staring him right in the eyes, she moved the finger she wiped the juice off with into her mouth, sucking on it gently, before releasing his finger from her mouth and his hand from hers with a pop of her lips. "I say we just go to the movie," she smiled. "We can get dessert there if you really want dessert."

  12. As he listened to her and frowned he still didn't know but figured with the two possible guesses he could technically be right but the two were polar opposites so he'd go ahead and try any ways, "Well then, I'm going to have to guess you are more aligned with..." he said before poking her nose bopping her, "White lanterns. But I don't think you've mastered all the emotions" he'd say trying to guess, stealing the peak at her shirt he'd figure it was some sort of bluish purple based on what he could see, "Well you are loving, but it's not just traditional love, it's more compassionate. So much that it may see hopeful, overly hopeful. The fact you haven't given up on me yet says you might just be a Blue...tough call. But between hopeful and love is compassionate. So that is my guess. You're compassionate..." he said making his final guess as he poked her chest, "So gonna show me the truth and reveal your color...I don't want you lying to me to make me feel better at being shitty at guessing." he said some teasing making light of his almost impending failure. Yet as their conversation continued and the topic shifted else where he'd laugh.

"Really, back to this. To be honest, I don't know. virgin after all. However, what makes me really hot and bothered is when you..." he'd say leaning in whispering obscene and kinky things in her ear, "Then when you bounce up and down pulling on hair..." he'd say more defined before his lips left her ear briefly to bite her neck playfully, "But I hope that answers your questions." he'd saying chuckling hoping his words and teasing didn't bother her too much. Yet when she spoke he felt like an idiot, his jealousy as over nothing. Just the game and at worse spirits or what have you."Oh...sorry, I just...the thought of another with you had me...well jealous. I'd hate to lose time with you to another man, I'm selfish like that. What is mine is mine and I won't share.unless it's worth sharing" he said chuckling as she already discussed that general topic, "But yeah...." he'd quickly change topics to the Superman thing, listening to her geek out he'd smile and just listen, playing with his fork and plate, "No do go on. It's cute. Tell me more, it's always refreshing to see someone so into what they are talking about. I mean your geeking out is the most genuine and real emotion we have, so why hide it or pretend to be something we are not. Clearly, I'm in love with a comic book nerd. I mean you're in love with a demi god." he said boasting his charms and physique.

As they finished up their meal and he wiped the juice from her mouth his jaw would drop as he groaned softly, feeling her mouth suck upon his finger and his eye twitches some. His stomach twirling as he heard the pop as pulled his hand back and closed his eyes a moment, "Yeah...let's go to the movies..but let's not rush too fast. My stomach hurts a bit and I don't think I should leave so soon, perhaps we wait a few minutes." he'd say lying about the entire ordeal. As he looked about thinking about unattractive things, eventually relaxed he'd nod, "Alright, think I'm good. Let's go to the movies then." he'd say pulling out his wallet and leaving a twenty Percent tip. "You know that was a bold move, back there. We could have got kicked out for that little stunt...might have been accused of smuggling a pipe bomb or something." he teased some hinting at her cause and the effect. "Anyways, sweet cheeks. Lets go see how much better this movie is than the others..." he'd say as he swept her off her feet carrying her easily as he bounced her playfully, "Good God be glad I didn't get body combat or I'd probably just slam you about right now, get a bit of practice going outside the game." he sad his hands running along her thigh resting just below her rear squeezing. 'So the theater is this way right?"

He'd ask as the duo soon arrived but minutes later at the location in question. His lips parting he'd walk in order some pop corn and turn to her seeing if she wanted anything else, "Oh and an Icee with blue and red, try and add a bit of white in the middle." he teased as he then went to the ticket stand and ordered their tickets, "Shit almost missed out on this, seems we got the last few tickets and they were a good seat, front center, just before the handicap area. Perfect..." he'd say sliding a hand around her waist pulling her close as he slid his other hand over hers lacing their fingers as the ring became noticeable, "You love that ring huh. Might just have to let you keep it..." he teased as he'd lead her into the theater and take his seat, pulling her hand back as if to pull her on his lap and kiss her neck, "I'm cold..."he'd say looking for an excuse to cuddle some if not just hold her for a few seconds his body pressing up against her from behind as he nuzzled his cheek up against hers; hoping one would complain. His hands resting at either waist; wrapped around her draped at either side, "Mmmmm thanks for agreeing to this."

  13. At the man's guess of "compassion", Angel leaned back in her chair. "Now for the fun part," she said. "Well, for me at least. Do I keep you in suspense if you guessed right? Or tell you now?" She tapped a finger against her chin, as if thinking, smiling teasingly the whole time. "I'm going to go with leave you in suspense, and show you later," she said. "Can't exactly start taking clothes off in the middle of a restaurant, huh?"

She leaned forward for the whispered, and grinned. "Sounds like you have some plans all laid out then," she said. She understood the jealousy thing. It was a natural human emotion, and honestly she appreciated it a bit, so she decided not to give him a hard time, and instead let the conversation pass to the next topic. "No, for real, I could talk for hours about comics and stuff. I just love them so much. The whole idea of having powers, two lives, the balance between them, that's what drew me to Terrasphere. What about you? What drew you to it?" She asked.

When he commended on not wanting to leave right away, she knew it was bullshit immediately, and the grin took up nearly her whole face. When they were outside and he admitted to her the real reason he delayed, she laughed. "That was the point," she said. When he picked her up, she put her one arm around him, and pointed the way with the other, before putting it around him as well. "Yep, right that way!" She said. "Though, uh, do be careful with how you carry me, I am in a skirt," she reminded him.

She let him order at the theater, only wanted some sugar candies and a soda for herself (though she would definitely be stealing some of his popcorn throughout the movie). When they were seated and cuddled up, she smiled at him. "Yeah, I do kind of like the ring, but..." she reached to take it off, and put it in his pocket. "Next time I wear it, I want it to mean something. I do intend to keep it, next time you give it to me," she said. "But for a reason beyond just getting free drinks," she chuckled. She wasn't upset, or anything. In fact it had been fun. But she didn't want to trivialize the importance of things like that.

The theater darkened a bit. "So..." she whispered quietly, straightening in her chair a bit. "Since it's dark now, and there doesn't seem to be too many people, this should be fine." She gripped the center of her buttondown shirt and pulled it open, Superman style. Underneath was a blue t-shirt, with the blue lantern symbol of hope. "You were really close," she said with a smile, leaning back into the cuddle. The trailers of the movie were starting. It wouldn't be long now.

  14. He'd have become flustered as he simply listened to everything she said, "Well..." he'd say smiling and finding it best to not argue or deny anything. Nodding he'd just give her what she thought. Either way, it wasn't like it was a bad thing. "I mean if you're up for a night in a cell and no extra curricular activities..." he'd say chuckling some as he knew where she was getting at but wouldn't deny her his feelings again, "Maybe....then again, maybe I don't care and I'm waiting on the okay.. "he'd say bluffing somewhat. As the topic shifted a few more times he'd nod, "The duality you face, the consequences of the extreme. The love hates relationship with justice and the desire to help others while being you just with a mask. Yeah, I know hence the paladin thing, except no mask, just a helm. But then again I think the stark approach is fine, so long as it's nor forced upon others." He said some rubbing the back of his head, "We'll have to geek out one night, watch some movies on Netflix...chill. Ya know?" he'd say smiling "Simple my sister. I knew how she was in real life, a bit of a flirt?" he'd say questioning if it was the right word, "I wanted to stop her from trying to meet weirdos online and in turn became one, met someone and now here I am. A hypocrite. But in the end, I grew to like it and desire to help and protect others, especially angels such as yourself." he said some gazing back into her eyes.

As he carried her like so and she appeared to be complaining about it he'd smirk, "OH is that so, then how about I hide your panties like so, keep you around me like a koala straddled bouncing up against me, see if I can't return the favor." he'd say teasing her some as he'd carry her in the new position adjust himself some with a smirk as he held her rear trying to seduce her some in return before slowly letting her down and giving a satisfied look, "Lets head inside before we make further bad choices in our conquest to see just who will crack first. Date two is about to begin...lets make it to three, to say the least." he teased kissing her head once they entered, ordered their goods and headed into the movie, pulling her onto his lap once more the male kissed her neck try to tease her some, "Oh, so you want it to be once your ready to move in and bare my child. Fair enough, guess the test run on Terrasphere will have to do." he said biting his lip at the big reveal she gave him he'd laugh some, covering his mouth"Tease...besides I wasn't wrong, you can be more than one color at time, you just only see your blue, but I see all seven, give it time. You'll see them too, it's hard to see a rainbow without your light" he said kissing her head claiming his role in her life and it's importance.

As the movie started he'd nuzzle into her, watching the trailers and a bit of time later the featured film would start playing. His hands shifting about her being he'd slowly explore the tips of his fingers along the contours of her flesh, respectfully yet in a deep manner, exploring what he could the imperfections, the unique curves as they soon landed upon her thighs his head resting on her neck, "I love this...I don't won't tonight to end...I know it seems cheesy, but If I was to die now I'd be content with life. Having met you and spent my last day with you." he said as he squeezed her a bit tighter before the movie began, it would start off slow, building up as all movies did, a bit cliche with the villain, shocked at the cameo but loving it. Towards the end, he'd grin as he had already known what was going to happen. The foreshadowing was real. Yet as the credits rolled he'd squeeze her tight as folks exited, "Stupid pleabs, the best is the end credit secret bits." he said as the theater was even more empty the lights not yet on, "Hey...you know what, what do you say once these credits are over, we get out of here and go to a park? I don't want to go home just yet. It's still early...well, to be honest, I'm looking for an excuse to stay." he said caressing her cheek as he got up. "So do I have a good enough one or should I keep finding excuses not to leave your side?" he'd ask as they left the theater and made thier way to either her home or the park.

  15. Angel shivered a bit each time Aaron kissed her neck. Gods, if they weren't in public...

When he pointed out she could be more than one color, she nodded. "Of course. I didn't say I didn't have other emotions, everyone has all emotions... I just said I was wearing a specific shirt," she laughed quietly. She put her head on his shoulder and breathed on his neck. "You did end your guess on compassion, but it was a so hopeful I'm compassionate... maybe if you don't behave yourself, you might still get the reward." She paused. "Well, behave a bit, because public," she added.

It was hard for Angel to pay attention to the movie. She was mainly trying not to make noises the entire time in response to what Aaron was doing. Yet what she did pay attention to she loved, and agreed with him about the post-credits scene. Though as soon as that ended, she turned to him. "No. No park. My apartment," she said, quickly. She paused. That came out to fast. "To... to show you... the surprise... in Terrasphere..." she said, this time conscious that she spoke too slowly. She shut her eyes and breathed, counting to three. "Did you bring your headset? I might have a spare old one somewhere you can use, if not," she said.

With that, she would try to usher him back to her apartment as best as she could. By this point, she was impatient.
