Report to aid in the war, we need to protect the castle, either fight on the front lines or aid the walls. We can not claim to be the heroes of Falderen and stand aside to watch it crumble. Some of you may feel upset about the treatment of elves and lesser folk in the castle itself, but this is not our place to judge them. Tyl will see fit to end thier nonesense. But these elves are not justified in their actions either.

Please consider these facts before dismissing my message. The few bad within this land do not outway the many who need our help. Save a few rotten souls to save many innocent, then we rebuild and ensure that we fix the issues at hand. But before we can do tht we need to end this war, so help me do it. Don't ignore it. I promise you I'll personally figure a way to help resolve this for all; just have faith in me. I've never steered you wrong before.

EMERGENCY ALL MEMBERS READ!
Alright, I'm not happy. Turns out this king is more corrupt than we expected if any of you recall that bounty a few weeks back when we were so called invaded. Well, we are with a diplomate of the enemy and we've decided to talk it out.

We tried to contact the king but he refuses to answer, I think simply by agreeing to hear them out we've been labeled traitors. Be careful in the castle, we are coming back. Open the gates for us, if anyone tries to stop you, do what you must to succeed. We have a plan to do this peacefully; the enemy willing to stop the war and work together. There appears to be a greater threat to the north...but the king seems to be hiding a lot from us; using us s pawns for this war. He needs to be truthful or be removed; I think it might be time to give this kingdom back to its people.

A king is not always a good guy, this king has proven to be an enemy of the state. As heroes of Faldaren, we are to protect its people first. Let us do this peacefully or destroy the castle; why are we working so hard to protect those ungrateful and willing to let us die for their lies and greed.

I don't like going back on my word, giving up on things I've started. Are you absolutely certain of this? If you are... if you are, just say the word, and I'll start helping the elves. But from what I've seen... they attacked first. They don't seem to care about the innocent lives in this fort. Can you guarentee they will be safe? Can you guarentee that you will be safe? Can you get any more details, tell us anymore? You are the guild leader, we'll follow your command.
Make it back to us. Safe and in one piece.

Sera, I love you more than life itself I'd never steer you wrong; as such I don't want you to lose your life for something I didn't believe in. The elves talked about wanting to cross, until attacked. There was a bounty I had done doing just that issued by the king ask @Amane Hirota she can confirm. He is not the nice man we thought he was, but why fight the elves when they are the ones in need of help. If we can avoid anyore death why not, diplomatic approach is as best as we can do now. I'd ask yall to approach the king but he's probably asking to have you all killed. Open the gates; help them flood it and sabatage the kingdom; once our contract is made with the these elves we will rule it together; a player run kingdom. An Elven ally and those who won't agree will become our new enemy. But with demons lurking over the horizon, it's too foolish to turn away an ally as strong as this enemy. But if they are tough, the demons must be worst. So let's join forces and remove them.

All of this seems wrong. I'm supporting and with the way things are going. I don't know what to believe and there are people dying over here just like there are people dying over there. I really don't want to give up on what we started with. but kings don't tell their heroes everything nor do they tell their people anything. Its our fault for not asking. And how the do you plan on running a kingdom run by players when npc's live here and till the land. it should be one of them ruling not us. we come and go.

All fair points, @Isolt Veera. I'm sure this guild was created to do good in this world, but what is just and right is too nebulous to encapsulate in a single viewpoint — and what it means to be a hero, too, I feel is subjective. I can't speak for the guild, but I think most of us wouldn't think worse of you for making your choice. While this is ultimately @Aaron Steele's decision, I'll try to turn a blind eye if I see you in the castle, and personally when all this settles down I wouldn't mind welcoming you back. Stay safe!

P.S. You might want to avoid anyone from YULAN. The guild leader there sent a GM with a kill-on-sight notice, and I doubt their members are going to be any more merciful.

@Amane Hirota Well I will stay away from yulan as much as I can. However, I would like you all to bare in mind what those siege weapons are doing. Its killing people who were friends. Its killing npcs we swore to protect. That have nothing to do with what the king ordered in the bounties. There are innocent people here. You are killing them taking a way a symbol of their kingdom. Bare in mind the Elves laid siege. Sure albiet after we killed them but are we trying to destory their town? Did we try, cause i don't remember reading that we did. But they are trying to destory the castle here. Innocent men defending a wall because they choose to do so for their kingdom and their familes. what the king did was an injustice to them but for it to come to this. to potientally kill innocent wild life in the forest and possible women and children helping the support effort.

If we can get the ear of the king or someone in his close companionship we might be able to do something. but I'm surprised the people here aren't trying to kill those of us that are helping because we are like the ones that betrayed them. I don't want to sound harsh and your right being a hero is subjective. War cost causalties i know that. but no one has the full story. I don't the Elves are telling you everything as well. I'm sorry and stay safe guys.

Well in all honesty, I do not like the choices we are dealt. One says to kill the elves, the other says to kill the humans, I took a path all my own. I'm trying to do this peacefully. The elves have agreed to back down and do this peacefully, the king seems to have no interested in working with us. So that is his choice. My goal is for a unified coucil, all who care about this countries prospects inclueded.

Not just us PC; despite us ruling it would be best; as we won't be as bias as the king and we want a game to play on so we'd be more inclined to keep it around. As for us, we don't care what the members are nor if they are PC or NPC. We just want to avoid senseless death and create peace among us all. The king is the sole issue here and we are trying to fix that. I'd say there is no personal feelings about this, but after being updated upon yall fighting one another and sabotage there I found no reaosn not to consider this. We can work out the finer details later with a fine tooth comb; for now. He has to go, the people of this land will get ove their kings death especially when we aid them and make this a better place.

However, if you all do not agree with my decession, please ask yourself. What would you have one. Continued to slay innocents trying to cross. Let your people be used by a king, with no remorse or care for what happens to them or you. I can not stay by and let you all be used, use me. Let me die, but do not kill my family for no reason. This path for peace is not an easy one, but it is the least of all evil and best we could do. I've made a contract with the elves for a comittee among other things, we will deal with all of this as time progresses. For now I need yall to find a way to get us in the castle, taking down the doors from the inside; you are our eyes and ears.

The greatest problem we face is the archers on the third floor. I'll send you a copy of our layout blueprints.

@Isolt Veera I would rather not kill anyone, so far I've managed not to have to. If you can convince them to surrender or to lay down their weapons, even if it's only some of them, then we could avoid this. They have to know that the castle won't last and a symbol of their kingdom means nothing in the face of the death of an entire race. But if I see you, know that not a single one of my arrows will see you. That I promise.

Regardless of any of your reasons, and to this I mean all of our guildmates, it's wrong to stare a race being slaughtered en masse in the face and turn them away. It's even worse to take advantage of a people in need by lying to us players to trick us into killing their scouts and by capturing them and turning them into slaves because they're prettier. I don't know more than that, no one does. Maybe the elves have some horrible, damning secret, but until I know it I refuse to be some pompous, racist asshole calling them treacherous knife-ears. I don't hold the idea of a PC empire consuming Falderen and Yladia and whoever else we decide 'it would be better for us to rule over.' That's the talk of tyrants. We know nothing about this world, about its people. We don't have a right to rule @Aaron Steele, but that's a conversation for another time. The council sounds well and fine, but what do your new pals YULAN and COVEN think of it?

For now, we need to end this with as little bloodshed as possible. Whatever your plans with the other guild leaders are to take the castle, it has to fall and things have to be made right. The longer this goes on, the more bad blood between us and the human nation. I'm not a leader, I'm not anyone important, but I know what my gut tells me. Eventually those demons will come knocking and I doubt they'll give a rat's ass about our races when they come to slaughter everyone and everything.

all of this is wrong. no slavery isn't right nor is the slaughter of people in need. but how would any of us that didn't do the quest of the bounties.. How were we to know? How were the innocent people of Falderan to know? And didn't you have a choice to take and not take them. couldn't you have simply walked away and left it unfinished?

Just attacking before anyone is awake and slaughtering even those who have no clue about what's going on isn't either. And doing this doesn't sway popular opinion to the side you want it too. Its only going to make people more scared and if there is a demon army coming. Then the forest border is not compromised because the castle now stands in shambles.

Two wrongs will never make a right and all of this is wrong. At least we managed to get as many as we could out of the keep and to safety. Something i thought as a guild we were supposed to be doing. But i hope you guys are alright and that none of you have died.

@Isolt Veera No one is slaughtering civilians. We're fighting the soldiers and that's the job of a solider. It sucks anyone has to die, has to get hurt, but they can surrender at any time. Did Falderen expect the elves to just stay in the north and wait for the demons to slaughter them? I understand you're upset and I don't hold it against you because I am too. It isn't the fault of the soldiers they followed the orders of a king who turned his back on a people going extinct, but that isn't an excuse. Nazi soldiers tried the whole "just following orders" bit and you can see how well that turned out for them. Everyone will have to answer for their crimes eventually, but I can't fault you for taking the path your heart says to... not knowing if mine is right either.

Please stay safe and get in touch with someone when things settle down. We- I'm still here for you. For all those who stayed to help. You just want to protect people and I'm glad you could get the civilians out so they didn't get caught in any of the crossfire. No one wants that blood on their hands, including the elves, I'm sure. Travel swift and safe.

Now that everything is said and done, I think now might be as good a time as any to let you all know I'm sorry. I've failed you all as a guild leader, I've done everything in my power and done everything I honestly thought was right. Those of you unsatisfied with this may leave the guild if you please, those of you who aren't please be understanding of the others and why they made their choice. Now to move onto some more pressing matters. I'd like to start with the easy stuff. I'd like to give a big congratulation for the terrific effort placed by for all of you. I'd also like to note; that the wedding may be pushed back some but not entirely. I owe us an event for completing our Guild mission prior to the events of the Elven war.

With this being said look forward to the upgrades made to the guild alongside our desired excitement in giving you some sort of event as a reward for completing the mission and perhaps an additional or following one for the grand scale efforts for the war. I'd like to the proposal a small get together for @Sera Phim who as a few may have found out during said event is pregnant. Thank you all for protecting her and seeing to it her and the baby is fine. Now, we don't know what the exact sex is as of this moment but should soon. We are waiting to discuss such details and when we are ready I'd like to throw her a revealing party; not just for our guild but anyone else who wishes to come.

With the above, all mentioned I'd also like to remind you all that we will be in dire need of an upgrade to the guild which I am currently on my way to do. If all is said and done we will be rank 3 with some points to spare if lucky. I'll need some to buy the flags before the next world boss. I'll discuss with others about getting the funds. Outside of that, I'd like to see you all soon. Th event should be sometime this week if not this weekend. So please don't forget to show up; you'll be missing a lot of fun. Please keep in mind folks, I am looking for council members within the guild. That last call wasn't fair to leave upon one person's shoulder.

As such @Amane Hirota is now your official General unless she decides to swap the role and take Event Coordinator. There are many other roles listed on our guild page that updates frequently please do keep an eye on it. Oh and before I forget I'll kep you updated with [YULAN] and [COVEN] as far as our Alliance and this committee goes. I'm hoping my contract and details discussed with the elves will prove fruitful. Especailly considering I asked for a lot of information an culture as well as details on how to train and work with them. So if you see any elves, be friendly and see what they can offer you.
