Open - Well, it was quiet...

  1. Bathilda opened her eyes and could hardly believe what she was seeing before her. She looked at her hands and smiled, actually feeling them open and close. This was her first experience with a VRMMORPG, and so far she was impressed. It was quite a beautiful world, and it seemed as if there was no difference between when she thought to move and her characters actual movement. From this point forward she could do whatever it is that she wanted. With a blank slate in front of her and literally any number of ways to make her name known throughout the lands, Bathilda moved to the nearest tree and sat on the ground.

For several minutes Bathilda just sat, enjoying the noise of the creatures around her. Slowly things got quieter, and Bathilda felt herself nodding off. She was sure so far that she was alone, so it couldn't hurt to just enjoy the silence for a bit... Wait the silence? But where were the creatures? She had known that she had just heard critters creeping around, where could they have all gone? She quickly became alert and held her two shields up in a defensive stance, investigating as quietly as one could when heavily armored.

  2. Eliana was very interested in continuing to practice her aim, at the expense of the wildlife around her. Trees, squirrels, and birds beware while Eliana is practicing. She was really enjoying herself ntoo, not really due to the furry-cide, either. she was just reveling in her newfound ability in shooting objects.

So enamored in her archery, she didn't even notice the clanks of armor as the girl moved into view of her, continuing to murder fuzzy animals.

  3. Since the clanks were mostly in a rather random pattern, Bathilda growled softly. Moving slowly, she was able to avoid any of the arrows hitting her. Though that didn't mean she didn't feel every impact. With each clang her irritation grew until she could stand it no longer and bellowed as loud as she could.

"You spastic little brat! What do you think you're-" Blocks another arrow, "You could hit someone, you know!?" Bathilda goes back to turtle mode and tries to focus on where the shots are coming from by watching the branches of the trees, searching for even a slight bit of movement to pinpoint on.

  4. As Noah crept through the forest he heard an odd sound...at least odd for this deep in the forest. He was used to hearing the sounds of the deers grazing, the rabbits running, squirrels climbing, and of course birds chirping. In fact he was out here to try and repeat what he had so royal failed on his first day of Terrasphere, stalk a herd of deer. He had successfully been doing so for the past hour or so, that was until the loud clanking of metal had startled them away. Noah bite his lip and stared off in the distance of where the sound was coming from. Who could or would be stumbling through the forest in full metal gear?

Noah quietly made his way in the direction of whatever had made the sound. While the loud sound had stopped, the glare of the sun bouncing off metal in the distance allowed him to assets that whatever was causing such noise was still around, they had just stopped moving. While he carefully maneuvered through the woods, he noticed a few arrows sticking in the trees and scattered about the ground, perhaps whatever was making that sound was an archer? Though most archers he knew or had ever encountered on this game and others, did not use heavy metal armor. Perhaps they were traveling in a group.

Upon getting closer he saw a massive figure laying on the ground with several shields laying at their side. While the look of all that heavy armor made the person seem intimidating, they did not hold a player killer title, plus upon further inspection the gear seemed like beginner equipment. Before Noah approached any closer he saw the blonde haired archer that must had been firing off those arrows. She too was looking at the metal warrior, perhaps they were both newbies? Noah not feeling threatened by either emerged from the shadows that he had been hiding in and allowed them to see him. “What a queer place to take a nap. And what a queer outfit to rest in, I can’t imagine that being comfortable by any means.” He posed his first round of questions at the sleeping brute. His second round would be aimed at the archer. “You over there… I’m assuming you’re the one that has been taking aim at all the trees nearby?” This was more or less a rhetorical question but still allowed the girl a chance to speak up. “Are you all both new players?”

  5. Bathilda would have happily explained that she was, in fact, a new player. But she was a bit busy turtling to avoid becoming a pincushion. Then she thought for a moment. This man could be with the archer, and the comment of both of them being new could be a ruse to put Bathilda into a false sense of comfort... Knowing she couldn't possibly take the man and archer together, she decided that honesty may in fact be the best policy, "I've no gold- or anything of- value! The exp that would gain- is minimal at best. Unless you would gain some- sick satisfaction- from killing me, I highly suggest- finding a more susceptible mark!" Bathilda had to pause between grunts as the arrows continued to rain down upon her. Whoever this archer was, Bathilda had to compliment their persistence.
