She wasn't a crafter, but YULAN's guild leader had been adamant that all players help out if they could, and so after aiding the siege camp (little good she did there) she'd went straight over to the mess of cloth and leather, picking up one of the giant sheets, as well as one of the sewing kits, before plunking down nearby to work on this. Her parents hadn't considered sewing as something she had needed to know, and when her clothes got worn down she'd always preferred to simply throw it away and get a new one, so this would be a new experience. It was just moving the needle in a routine pattern though, so how hard could it be?
Amane immersed herself in the rhythmic motion of moving the needle in and out, and pretty soon she completed the parachute. Holding it up to admire it, squinting against the rain cascading down its sides, she thought she did a pretty good job. Sure, the stitches were pretty ugly, but they looked strong, and would probably serve someone well when they were hurtling through the air via Oakheart. She flicked it, trying to open it up in order to fold it into a neat square, but just as she started she noticed that...something wasn't quite right. It seemed a little small, and for the life of her she couldn't find where the four corners were. In fact, with growing horror, it soon became evident to her that there
were no four corners. She'd stitched the wrong sides together.
For several seconds Amane just stared, before furtively glancing around, trying to ascertain if anyone had witness her shame. With a sigh, she dropped back down, taking out a small knife and began undoing all her hard work. Hopefully this wouldn't set back the siege by too much.
