Mastery
- The progressive mastery are now split into two branches.
- Advanced Mastery: nothing has changed.
- Evolved Mastery: these mastery consume their prerequisite and become a single mastery with an evolved name. When one obtains an evolved mastery, 500 MP in the prerequisite mastery will be taken away as payment.
@Asch - The reason behind this change is to prevent dead mastery that takes up a slot because their progressive counterpart does pretty much the same thing.
- Muse has been buffed so they aren't as boring. Muse spells are no longer channeled, but based on song. Buffs persists now so Muse can do other things while their buff are still in effect. Dancing has also been added to the wiki page.
@Asch - Being a muse should not remove options, so we are buffing them so they can do more than just play songs every post now.
- Necromancy and Demonomancy prerequisites have been nerfed to Adept Malefimancy with no tool so death knights and demon knights are now easier to accomplish.
- Dragonic Grip has been redone to improve clarity and added to to the evolved mastery list. You cannot dual-wield 2H ranged or polearms, but wielding them with a shield is okay.
- Beast Tamers can tame mystical creature, but nothing bigger than extra large and they must be tamed in a Challenge with a DM's approval. More changes will come with part 2.
- Apotheosis is an evolved mastery that allows your character to physically transform to an Avatar of non-evocative magic.
There is no free mastery respec for this update. Thank you!
