Player Guilds Unfortunately, player guilds have been retired. In the 3 months that we have been opened, player guilds was an interesting system that really fit with the MMORPG-aspect of the site, but they didn't offer a lot of RP opportunity due to a number of reasons. Guild creation and upgrades were too expensive for most. Joining guilds and running them were also very difficult. Given these reasons, we decided to drop player guilds entirely as we feel it doesn't add to the RP. Instead, we are replacing guild with Faction, which are basically in-game organization with set plot. These will be ran by staff. In lieu of this, we will be revamping the reputation system and use them much more in factions. Some factions that players can join will be: Ynglar Brotherhood, Astorea, Monster Hunter League, and the Guild. While some of the factions are still being made, you can check them out in here. More info will be published once we reorganize the faction system. Guilds who have spent money on their creation and upgrade should receive some compensation in the following week. Classes Classes were custom titles that let you flavor your mastery choices prior to this patch. It is regrettable that we are dropping this system. All titles currently possessed by players will now be dropped. Instead, titles will actually be titles now, a form of renown, a player's marking in the world. Titles can be earned through story events and DM challenges. We feel that with a context behind them, they will be more unique and special to the character. Read more about titles here. DM All story NPCs such as Vlethela, Yladian Elder, Ivan, and Lenestra can be contacted through mail or requested for an IC interaction. Keep in mind that the DM playing them will be very busy, so go easy on us. Extras Our questing system could use a lot of improvement and refinement, as such, we will be putting it under-maintenance for the time being. Salvaging old equipment has been increased from 20% to 25%. There will no longer be a reputation requirement for mount. However, their price will be increased a bit! Veteran Rebirth Gift is now available. Anyone whose character is 2 months or older can use this one-time gift to rejoin the game as a completely new character. This is a very valuable gift so make sure you only use it if you are absolutely sure you're ready to!
