  1. _____Alice seriously needed to keep track of time better. Her frame quickly moving around between any source of light she could find among the growing darkness as her main and only source of light started setting in the distance. She had gotten so lost in tending to the damaged parts of the forest she found herself far from home, and not enough time to make it before all light was lost for her. She only wanted to be out for the morning and forgot to pack incase she overstayed in the beginner forest. Her heart racing as she slid to a full stop overlooking her terror.

_____Thirty maybe more feet of pure shadows and not a patch of sunlight to run to between it. Most would be ok with this small amount of darkness, but to Alice this was roughly the same as a total blackout. She could not bring herself to take a step into the shadows, her eyes playing tricks as she watched something climb out the shadows before her trying to grab hold of her feet, yet nothing was there. Sadly it was enough to make the small Faerin scream out, birds flying away from the area as Alice staggered backwards away from the shadows, there had to be another way around.

_____Her focus moved around the area as more terror seeped into her small frame. There was no other spots of light, and even the spot she stood on was slowly being eaten by the shadows around her. Frame trembled, her mind not willing to allow her to run across the shadows to search for more light. But as the small girl backed around slowly in her fading spot of light she seemed truly terrified. With the last small bits she would fall to her feet and curl up in a ball trembling and crying.

  2. Phoenix loved the changing of the day. From bright sunshine and vibrant colors, to calm darkness and the starry sky. Both had their appeal, and he wasn't sure which he preferred. In the real world he was quite the night owl, always staying up late to study. But this was totally different, and he could see how the night could be dangerous. Either way he would enjoy the nature for what it was, and he was glad to have fire magic in his skills if needed.

It started out gradually, the sun setting slow and then faster it seemed. Small patches of shadows turned into long expanses, eating up any of the sunlight that was left. He could still see a bit of light on the horizon, but behind him it was getting darker and soon it would be hard to see anything without a source of light.

At first he didn't hear it. The sound was quiet, muffled, but the closer he got the more clear it became. Crying. The kind of crying from someone who was terrified. He could sense it coming off in waves and as his eyes adjusted he found her, the girl curled up in a ball on the ground. All alone and obviously in distress. Not wanting to startle her anymore than she already was he flipped over his hand and conjured up a small ball of fire in his palm. It was warm and soothing and emitted a nice light, it didn't light up a ton around him but just enough. He wasn't sure exactly what was wrong with her but he would soon find out.

Keeping a respectful distance he tilted his head and spoke gently. "Miss, are you okay?" He hoped he didn't scare her. "Is there anything I can do? Do you need help?" He took a small step forward, stretching his arm out so the light of the flame reached her more. Hopefully it would calm her.

  3. _____The Male would sadly startle Alice by the sudden voice nearby her. Her fame bouncing slightly as she started to crawl away until she noticed the circle of light around him and stayed just at the edge. Her fingers carefully moving to avoid the shadows based on how the flame danced in the male’s hand. When he stretched it closer she kept her actions the same and tried to keep to the edge. She was clearly scared of him, but not nearly as much as her fear of the darkness outside the circle of light provided by him. Lips moving slowly as she tried to muster some words to him.

”I just.. Can’t stand darkness… After you die already disliking the dark and get the fear of darkness… well they mixed into sheer terror…”

_____Alice would, if the male made no sudden actions to startle her rise up to her own feet. Taking a few steps away from the lights edge towards him before turning to see the darkness around her and trembling. It would take her a few moments to get the willpower to turn away and rapidly exhale and shake, a few tears trailing her face as she tried again looking to the north of their current location. Hand carefully raised to point where she seemed locked onto.

”My nearest camp area is that way… I know this might be a rude request… but would you mind staying close with the fire so I can reach there and get my own started… Closer it gets to night the more freaked out I get and with the distance… I doubt I’ll be able to recall my landmarks in fear and end up somewhere I have no idea about when my meters go off… I don’t have much to offer outside some clean water and food, nothing over the top just berries and trail mix…”

_____Alice would both blush from talking so much, and look worried. If this person said no she would be on her own, if they took advantage of her fear and asked for more she had nothing.
