  1. It was surprising to many, but for Kelly Richardson, this was the first time she'd been to the brilliant city of New York. It'd been decided by some of her classmates that they would look at some of the larger clinics of the major metropolis, the lot particularly interesting in a variety of different, newer generation treatments for things such as coma and other issues.

They'd all split up separately the moment they got off the bus, Kelly far too keen on exploring and finding a clinic she'd heard about on the news. Energized to be off the public transportation, she was practically skipping along the sidewalk, thankful to use her legs. Her brown hair was tied behind her back with care, eyes scanning the street for a major map or lone stranger that could give her directions. It was as she started to search for help that she noticed someone. But...Was it really a stranger?

The girl was cute: a bit on the small side, with what Kelly could only think to call orange hair. The small frame and the profile of the girl had a strangely familiar appearance- as if it was someone she'd played with online just recently, a girl with eyes like a tiger and a feline demeanor.

Never one to stop and think things through, she was quick to cross the road the moment the light changed, running to nearly tackle the girl she'd seen, nuzzling her face into the seeming stranger. Her simple, homely demeanor was quickly scrubbed out by her excitement, as she hugged tightly onto the smaller, somehow stoic appearing girl. "Taiga! I'm sure it's you, Taiga!"

Grinning, she stood still with her arms around the one she'd basically attacked with affection. "Can you guess who I am? It's me, Sola! We met online, right? I'm sure it was you!"

    @Taiga

  2. It was one of those boring days. Taiga better known as Rie Kugimiya was out of her apartment to do a mediocre and boring job. She had been to the supermarket. Her short arms were filled to bursting with bags full of microwave meals, noodles and other things that were easy to cook. Rie had no skill, knowledge or talent when it came to cooking. She wanted slowly down the pavement, ignoring everyone that walked past her. Rei stuck out like a sore thumb when it came to most people. Being a tiny 4 foot 9 inch Japanese girl wandering down a busy New York street definitely got her some odd looks. Thankfully, she could ignore them easy enough, thanks to the magic of headphones and loud music.

However, her walk was interrupted as someone jumped on her. Wrapping her arms around Rie and squeezing her into a tight embrace. She could feel her face nuzzling against her. Although the girl was a bit taller than her, with shortish brown hair cut into a bob-like style. “Would you get off, you damn creep. Who the hell hugs someone in the middle of a busy street like this. Are you insane?” She was about to lash out as her rage finally broke as it was destined to do – when the girl said. Taiga. Her shopping bags fell to the ground at her feet as she let them go with a crash. It seemed like something had likely split as it made a splat as well as a crash.

Taiga stopped cold and looked up at the girl. “You know me from Terra? Right?” Her mind started to flashback to all the people, she had met in her short time of playing it. She didn’t need to however, as the girl introduced herself as Sola.

Sola? That somewhat annoying girl from the game? When Taiga fought the Hornets? Wow, what were the chances, they’d meet in the real world. Zero to none. Rie screwed up her hands, her eyes cut into thin slits as she glared.

“I guess it’s my own fault for using an avatar so similar to myself,” Rie scoffed. Even in the real world, she retained that same vicious attitude like a tiger playing with it’s prey before it strikes. “Can you let go of me now. People are staring at us,” she said, trying to prise the clingy girl away from her. “I don’t think this is what normal people do. When. They. Meet.”

  3. "Is it that strange?" Kelly smiled gently, her arms letting go soon after being requested. It wasn't actually that unusual to be told that, but normally being told to let go wouldn't bother her at all. This time, it was a special case. After all, this was her first time meeting someone from the virtual world- well, the one she could dive into as much as she had.

Stretching her arms, her movements were as similar to her character as her smile. Grinning to Taiga wasn't just second nature, but possibly the only nature she had. "I guess it's true this kind of meeting is different than in game, huh? I probably shouldn't be calling you by your username either...Or mine for that matter." Her giggle was timidly sincere, her hands held out towards the smaller girl.

"How about I help you carry that? That's a bit much for one person to carry...And why so much fast food? It's bad for your body, you know. Maybe I should make you eat something healthy while I'm at it."

  4. The girl who used the avatar Sola looked a lot different in this world. She had short brown hair cut into a bob and large brown eyes. She was fairly cute if she was your kind of thing. Also, she seemed to be of American decent. Through out their conversation, she continued to use the name that she used on Terra. Taiga. “Yeah. Stop that. It’s not ‘Taiga’. Not here,” she said it coldly, looking around the street in case people were watching them. After some hesitation, she added, “My name is Rie. Okay?” Even when she giggled it was sort of cute if you liked that sort of girl.

Rie shook her head and looked down. Her shopping bags still lay at her feet, the contents slightly crushed and falling from the plastic. But still edible. She bent down and picked them back up. As she did, the girl asked about her choice in food and why she chose it. “I chose this food because… it’s quick and easy. Is that a problem with you?” She snapped, suddenly furious.

“Oh it doesn’t matter. I’m heading home anyway,” she began to wander away but turned back. “If you want to join. I won’t stop you, I guess. At least not straight away...”

  5. "So you're called Rie, huh? That's a really pretty name!" The girl couldn't help giggling a bit, her brown eyes keeping close to the seeming stranger's gaze. "Oh, I'm Kelly Richardson. Let's get along equally well here from now on, even if I am just in the city visiting for a school trip."

Well, it wasn't really a 'school trip', was it? No, it was just her and some friends working on extracurricular studies for fun, because they all had too much interest and enough time to do so. She was swift to react when Rie snapped, almost relieved she was being treated naturally. It was good to see how similar Rie was online and offline!

Hands on her hip, she mused a simple response. "Of course I have concerns. I told you, I'm a nursing student. People's health matters a lot to me, especially friends. That stuff may be quick and easy to make, but it's not very nutritious. You're not doing any good for your body if that's all you eat. If you want quick, go to a restaurant to chow or get a friend to cook like my roommate does."

Laughing a bit, she began to follow as she was given the acceptance to do so. Rie may have been snarky, but she was honest- it was a good feature, and all to easy to follow. "If you want, I'll make you something quick and healthy when we get there. I've been cooking a good part of my life, and I like it."
