  1. Aalam was walking he never walked fast or ran when he was doing this he always just walked like he had no place that he needed to be. Even though the message he was holding in his hands was one of somewhat important, but it would get where it needed to go. He would have just ignored the messenger otherwise, but he had made his way under a banner of a white flag. Some symbols meant the same no matter where they were seen, and he was not going to shoot a man down that was bringing something under the banner of a white flag. Popping the package open and scanning over words that written on it before stuffing the entire thing in his jacket pocket. Pulling out his flask instead and taking a long swig there was going to be a hard sell to the man, but it might be able to end this stalemate that was between the Duke and the kingdom. So, he marched along the stonework as he makes his way into the meeting room. No one spoke to him; no one stood in his way there was a purpose in his eyes and no one wanted to get in the way of that.

Pushing open the door to the war room and looking at everyone in the room that wasn’t the Duke, so the message was received. Leave, and the did file out of place with some grumbling, but they all left. Most of them weren’t too sure what he did, but they knew he did it well and with a level of quietness. Taking his time as he made his way across the room his finger trailing on the table until he was directly opposite the duke. He had heard the whispers the servants told, the stories they said about him more were incorrect after all he had made up most of them and spread the “truth” around. It was always fun to hear how they had added to the stories when he heard them. Taking his seat and the table as folding his arms as he looked across at the duke, slipping the package towards him.

“I will save you the reading; it is a request to have a meeting with someone called shin. And if that is the Shin that I know from my time under Seto, then he is an honorable man. You could trust that he is looking for an honest meeting. I say go to the meeting if it goes bad I could have plans in motion to get us out and back to the fort before night.”

Taking a swig from his flask as he waited this was the duke choice after all, so he would wait and see what @Roland Rutledge choose.
