  1. Her now renewed sword gleamed lightly under the shade they'd found to try to decide their actions in, but for Solaria, there was no question as to what they had to do. Sure, there was the usual concern it was a trap like Ursa had noted, but considering it had a dead animal under it's arm, it just felt more unusual than she normally would find it.

"I say we go for it. There may be more, but it's also very likely that the creature it's holding bothered it and its friends, too. If they're attacking the goblins, the goblins might be busy at the moment anyway."

That, and she wanted to get some practice swinging in. Now that her trusted weapon was near her hip once more, it was hard to want to avoid a fight. "I happen to be a fan of some fights, assuming it's to help people. And this is to help your master, isn't it? Just gives more reason to go for it. If it really is a trap, it won't really make much difference. Just more to fight at once, we'd need to eventually!"

  2. Ursula’s lips curled up as Solaria agreed to fight the goblins, “Aaaaaye, like ya said before, I like that spirit, ya know?” with the exception of doing it to help people, the blacksmith wholeheartedly agreed with the green haired Yladian, a thumbs up used to express her agreement with it. Though they had their different end-goals — Ursula, in this case, was looking forward to profit from the situation — for now they aligned perfectly with each other. “Alright then swordswoman, we better get goin’ to kick those greenbutts!” Ursula removed her previous explosive addon from the pickaxe, installing another one instead.

She then pulled the forend and handle hybrid mechanism of the new addon to activate it’s pump action addon releasing a k-chak sound similar to those of shotguns. In the case of her weapon, however, it was used to mix the orichalcum, dark steel and cobalt powder within it. In layman’s terms, if she hit something with her pickaxe it would hurt even more.

Much to their dismay, the goblin in question had noticed their presence. It raised the “dead” boggoo under its arms closer to his mouth, speaking in a language that neither Solaria or Ursula could understand. Suddenly, the little monster sprung back to life and fled from the current area. The goblin advanced with a loud war cry, leaping towards @Solaria and attempting an overhead swing with a wooden club. If she managed to defend herself, it would make use of a battle shout to try and push her back.

“Lemme help ya, Sol —” Ursula was interrupted by the rustling of leaves. From the branches above another goblin dropped with a small, crude sword and tried to pierce the blonde on his fall. Ursula rolled forward and avoided the monster’s attack. In the distance various battle cries could be heard, their tones very similar to the enemy before Solaria and Ursula, though that wasn’t the biggest problem; It appeared that mixed in these shouts were also the sounds of multiple boggoos as well.

“For Endra’s sake…” Ursula blocked another slash attempt from the goblin, “These quackers are workin’ together! Sola, git ready! Poopstorm incomin’!

  3. Solaria wasn't new to battle. In fact, the war cry just made her internal thirst for blood far more pleasing- even if seeing the revival of the weird little furball helped her martyr complex calm itself some. Her swift draw of her sword clashed against the club, a slight spark flying from the metal against the rather hard wood that pounded against it. Her fight with it was much like kendo- and, she held the sword similarly just for that purpose.

As it's battle cry blew her back, she yelled out to it to attack once more- but as she did so, another goblin came to surprise them. "Looks like it's aware it's too weak to take us on alone. They're smarter than they look!" Not that that was really much of an upgrade, in Solaria's mind...But the real issue was, how many more were out there?

"Watch your back, Ursa! If you start to get tired, tell me and I'll take a break to heal you up. My kendo isn't the only skillset I have up my sleeves!" With a stroke of inspiration, she moved a hand to face her blacksmith's weapon, a glow coming from her hand. "May fate take wing upon your blade!"

"And mine as well!" With a swift movement, she added the same glow to her uchiganata, watching the holy magic engulf it in a swift, mild light. The holy magic helped her fight, energizing her attacks against them. Each swing led to a flash against them, until at least one was disarmed and soon after destroyed.

Turning back to Ursa, she mused, "Hanging in okay?"
