Aerana stood within the shadows of a tree, waiting for her two partners to arrive. They were supposed to meet in the plains near Stokbon to explore all of Brisshal. It would be a fun little side diversion ash she really had nothing much to do at the current moment. As an additonal plus, she would also get meet two new people. Meeting new people was always pleasant opportunity to both learn more and just have a good time. Given that they would be exploring the whole region as a group, she had a feeling that this would be the start of something a bit more permanent. If they ever met again that is, the world was a big place and she couldn't remember meeting Amelia more than once. Speaking of Amelia, Aerana wondered what she was up to. She decided to put such thoughts past her, and look towards the future instead of randomly guessing. In the past, a surprising number of people just found it hard to see her, even when she stood in the open. She wasn't exactly sure why but just to make sure that her group would be able to find her easily, she had picked out an odd, lone tree on the outskirts of the plains to wait nearby. While the tree might have concealed her a little, it was a landmark and thus worth investigating. As a plus, the tree would provide shade to stay beneath and keep cool. While not exactly blazing, it was a bit uncomfortable to stand under rays of the sun for hours on end. She kept her eyes on looking for any signs of other people, feeling a bit excited but also content. She decided to sit down, reasoning that she would need to save the energy for the large amount of walking that would be happening soon. There was a problem however, she wouldn't be able to be seen as easily. Luckily, she had just the solution. The obvious answer to her problem, would be to have some sort of signal. Something so out of the ordinary that anyone in the area would just have to investigate. She decided on a time tested solution, a plume of smoke. Plumes of smoke meant a lot of things, a bandit raid, mage training gone horribly wrong, chicken uprising... Regardless, it would definitely draw human attention while keeping away most wild animals. It was a perfect idea! Now, where did she put her flint and steel. If they really didn't show up soon, she could even start up a kettle of tea to make the wait more bearable. @Amane Hirota @Meruru Blanchimont
Meruru was not sure exactly what she was doing here. She had been scouring quest boards throughout Falderen trying to find something, anything that would earn her some money. As usual though, there was little if anything for her. This sucked so hard. What was a untrained alchemist to do? Then a few adventurers past by that were talking about a quest from someone named Trinity.... Meruru had no clue who that was but they seemed to think the quest was big deal. Brisshal completion or something like that. Completion? How do you complete a entire region? Uh... okay. That really did not make a lot of sense to her but she needed a big quest and this just might fit the bill! Now what to do? Meruru needed to find a person who was taking this quest and join them. Hmmm... time to go searching for a party! She wandered around the town for awhile but it did not lead to anything. So with a burst of determination, Meruru headed out into the fields of Brisshal to find adventuring adventurers! After what seemed like a few hours at least. Meruru grew limp and hung her head down with a sigh. Sigh... this was hard. It was a lot better back when she could post up gathering party requests herself, but the taverns and quest guilds were all closing up that service. That definitely did not help her funds. Who would have though 1000 gp would be so hard? She kinda missed being princess if just for the money. Her head lifted back as she would continue to look around... and then she saw something. A small pillar of smoke! Was it a camp? Or...? "Guess it doesn't hurt to go see... might be a party for me to join!" Meruru rushed to the location like a little kid chasing a ice cream truck. Reaching it pretty fast she saw a very dainty looking girl by a tree. That was a weird place for a girl like that do be. All good though, weird was normal Meruru was beginning to realize. At least outside of Blanch anyway! "Hi! Do you want to do Brisshal Completion with me! I-I mean, I'd like to take that quest I heard about and need a party! Are you looking too mam?" The Alchemy Princess said a lot more fast and desperate than she wanted to. @Amane Hirota @Aerana
