  1. Madison was lock-step with Endilix as the warrior raced down the left-hand path, nearly tripping over herself again as she tried to shuffle and cut her deck for the next round of spells she would have to cast. Her hands stopped working the moment the party came face-to-faceless with the monstrosity that was causing them to go on a squishy murder spree.

The giant technicolor dream slime, with rivers of hues swirling around inside its gigantic blob of a body, bubbled threateningly as it rolled towards the trio.

    "Right,"
the cursemage muttered as she quickly cut her deck one final time. She was no stranger to battling these things by now, and one that was probably just the combined piles of mush of all she had slain before? No problem, right?

Madison fanned out the deck in her gloved hands, ready to pull out three in order to cast her spell. Endilix seemed to be doing just fine with his shield and weapon combo, so she opted to take a step back and let him be the wall that separated her from a death that would probably be immortalized on a shady fetish art tumblr.

For this spell, she knew she'd require more energy. Tearing five cards from the deck, she arranged them in a pentagram in the air before her. A circle of amethyst-hued flame engulfed the spread, and she could feel the tarot cards pull and tug at the mana that coursed through her veins.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and exhaled. Another dehydration spell, but cranked up as high as she could go. The cursemage fought to stay conscious as she poured as much of energy she could into the ring of cards floating before her. Gritting her teeth and drawing close to the edge of consciousness, she waited.

    And waited.

    ...Now!

With a snap of her fingers, the spell ignited, the violent flames exploding in a flash of brilliant white light. Five bolts of pure dark energy ripped through the air and bored into the giant slime.
