The moment @Zelrius finished his sentence, he found himself sitting on top of a bench within a city somewhere. Fog impaired his vision to the point where he can't even make out details a couple of feet away from him. While he figured out where he was, a familiar voice greeted his ears.

Looking toward the direction where the voice was coming from, Zelrius would meet the sight of an old man holding onto a wooden cane in his right hand. He was leaning against the the bench, his back hunched over from a lifetime worth of burden. Without turning toward the blonde, the man spoke up in his scratchy voice.

"Welcome, it seems you have been able to solve the mystery of the Moonlight Note, eh? Well done. Your perceptiveness is exactly the kind of skill my employer is looking for. Ah, excuse me, I must first introduce myself. I am working for an organization that aims to benefit this country. If you are interested in our offer, I have a few questions to ask you.
    1. Firstly, how do you view the nation of Astorea and its current king?
    2. Secondly, would you choose blind justice over morality? Why?
    3. Lastly, can you keep a secret? How?
If you are not interested in this bidding, just say the word and you'll be out of this place within seconds."

  2. Zelrius looked down at the old man as he spoke, eyebrows creased in thought. To be quite honest, the questions were enough to tip the man off as to what it was the old man was looking for, atleast, to a certain extent. The golden haired man debated whether or not he should answer the questions honestly. You're here to gather information, He reminded himself, and with a closing of his eyes and a sigh, he'd play nice, despite his growing resentment of the man named Astor and his little political games. "Your mysteries aren't that good. You and Goldy-locks ought to just say 'Come on down to the castle for a Welfare check and a survey.' Much easier and probably cheaper for everyone involved as opposed to this," he gestured around the pair, the fog impairment along with making hint at the direction he had walked from. Another breath, he was supposed to be playing nice, and here he was berating the old man.

"I suppose I don't mind Astor, and given the recent war, I'd like to be able to benefit its people in anyway I can." He would go on about how he knows it's just a game, but that didn't stop his heartstrings being played like a shitty violin whenever he saw the scars the war left on the land and its people, but decided against it because if this was an NPC, it'd stop the conversation dead in its tracks. "Well, depending on your morals, Blind Justice and Morality are the same thing, No? And if my two definitions don't align with Goldy-locks, I am sure a handful of gold can change that." It was true enough, and basically just Zelrius' not-so-subtle way of telling the man and Astor that he wasn't going to be working for free, he had better things to do with his time other than that. Now for the final question, which was slightly confusing.

"Can I keep a secret? The answer is, anyone can if they just keep their lips shut. The question should be how long? I guess as long as it is needed to be kept for. Though that brings up the question of discretion. So I ask a question back; How much trust am I going to be given to use my own discretion?" It was a legitimate concern Zelrius had. If he was going to be doing Tasks for anyone, they'd need to be willing to let him exercise freedom in the field. He shook his head and turned away from the old man. "I am interested, for sure. I just need a bit more information. Forgive me for not being so willing to trust an old man who takes me to places where I can't see beyond where he sits now. Though again, a few answers can alleviate my weary mind, if that's within your power." And with that, the golden haired man let the hunchback respond, waiting for an answer.

"Ho-ho..." the old man let out a chortle as he directly met the eyes of the blond man, as if to study the spirit behind those cold blue pair. After he had come to a silent conclusion about @Zelrius, he man grabbed the hem of his hood and pulled it slightly over his face, obscuring his expression as he spoke.

"I see you have a lot of fighting spirit in you and an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. However, you are far too conceited and hard set in your ways. I don't believe you will be a good asset for our cause. Good day to you, young sir."

After a wry smile, the old man seemed to melded with the fog and Zelrius once again found himself within the warm confine of the tavern, in front of where he had been standing a few minutes prior. However, the door that he recited the password to appeared to be gone, replaced by what one would expect to find in the corner of any common tavern. Should he asked around, the other patrons would have shoved him away, telling him to lay off the strong stuff out of disbelief.
