  1. _____Why was it people thought, Reaper was some good traveler? His eyes twitching behind the cloth that covered them as the couple still held a flyer out to him to help find their daughter. He was the least helpful looking person on the street, dressing in all black did not seem to return people enough as he slowly took the paper to get them to leave him alone without causing a scene. ‘Maybe it was a tactic, if they could approach someone as bad as me for help maybe others would be more willing to aid them’ the idea crossing the mage’s mind as he bothered to look at the paper.

_____His heart sinking slightly at the description of the girl, Images of someone from his past flashing before his eyes before he moved the paper out of his sight and into his pocket. Rushing after the couple before trying to tap their shoulders. ”I’ll see what I can do to help… Forgive my delayed actions prior.” With the quick comment Reaper moved to start his search, memories better forgotten flashing across his mind as he took allies and at one point crashed into a garbage can and took it to the ground with him.

_____The details reminded him of his sister, sadly the past between them was mixed emotions but the memory of his sister going missing way back when made him act on emotions. Picking himself up carefully and re setting the trash can before he began his search again. Sure it would be better to take it slow, work with a group so they did not miss any detail, but Reaper was always more of a lone wolf and did not want people seeing his emotions in such a state, he had no idea what his face was expressing, and that was enough for him to try and avoid people as he pulled the paper back out and overlooked some locations they had wrote she visited most times.

  2. She'd taken the quest on a whim, but as she wandered to the starting location in a panic. She'd been told by the quest giver that it was given to others as well, and that this spot was the best place to begin- but with so many people and not enough information, was it really going to help her finish it?

Wandering a bit, she took a look at the list of locations the girl often appeared. With a thud, she found herself bumping into a stranger, a timid laugh upon her quivering lips as she sat planted on the ground from a fall. "Um...Sorry about that. I'm looking for a lost girl, but I think I ended up lost instead."

Adjusting herself to stand up, she dusted her clothes and gave the man a look over. "You haven't seen a runaway, have you? Um, I think the person that gave me the quest said..." With awkward hand gestures, she tried to describe the person she was in search of. But would this even work? It felt like she was giving out fliers for a badly drawn lost dog.

Yep, this felt just like she was searching for a lost dog.

  3. Once again, Tyris was doing the rounds through the city. With the vaunted agility of the Felis, the boy was having fun leaping across the rooftops, occasionally pausing to look down at the people below. As he passed by one crowded area, though, his cat-ears pricked up at the sound of a couple who seemed to be pleading for help locating their daughter. He couldn't very well resist a problem like that, so he climbed down the wall and approached the couple, just after a man in black offered his assistance. "I'll help too," he said, holding out his hand to accept one of the flyers they were offering, before following along after the human in black.

"Looks like we're gonna be a team on this," he said with a grin to the man, not sounding as if he'd take no for an answer. "My name's Tyris Ferrell. It's nice to meet ya!" He figured the two of them would work pretty well together on something like this; Tyris was a Stokbon native, so he knew the area quite well; the man was a traveler, of the kind well-known for being very dedicated to completing their goals (even if it was often only for the reward).

Next, they encountered another traveler, a Faerin girl, who absent-mindedly walked into Reaper. She said she was looking for a lost girl; the description she gave was vague, but it seemed similar to the object of their own search. Tyris unfolded the flyer he'd put into his pocket, which included a drawing of the girl in question, and showed it to the Faerin. "You mean this girl?" he asked. "We're looking for her too!"

  4. _____Was Reaper destine to keep drawing the short straw of encounters. First was the odd girl who considered herself a magic girl, now a young boy and a faerin. A inward sigh echoed in his mind as he turned to face the one who had run into him with a slight smile, his blindfold hiding the slight anger in his eyes while he readjusted his robe. Before Reaper was done thinking of what to say Tyris seemed to beat him to the talking so Reaper just nodded slightly in agreement and resumed pacing towards the girl’s common known locations.

_____To be fair Reaper was having to do his thinking backwards to an extent, normally he was the person to steal someone from their family using information provided by clients. This time he had to consider that was the case and the off chance she was just still mad. Reaching the first location, a small flower shop Reaper took point this time, his face changing slightly as he seemed more social over his dark thinking prior. The bell going off before Reaper watched a figure rush out the back door and quickly began pursuit.

_____His frame taking off ground as he jumped over a display of flowers and landed in a roll before lunging forward back into a sprint, it was like catching his target who had noticed him in the real world. Passing the counter and dropping a few coins as an apology for the sudden actions and crossing behind the counter to rush out the back after the girl. ”Could you not run please, I just want to talk with you…” His frame moving down quickly as a trash bag sailed over his head. Turning slight to see if the other two had followed him before parking an order in a rude tone. ”Cut her off, I’ll keep chasing and try making enough noise to give you a general location.” If they chose to listen or not Reaper left up to them as he resumed chase.

  5. The picture on the flyer was definitely the same girl. So these people were seeking her out too? More notably, why hadn't she thought of just showing the flyer herself? That would've been a lot less of a hassle. She really should have kept one on her.

"Three heads are better than one, so it's pretty lucky we found each other." She mused, smiling. But it was just as quickly as she'd thought to ask where the others had searched that one seemed to already rush ahead. Had he spotted her?

Pursuing the lithe stranger- who, she wouldn't admit, was already slightly terrifying- Harveste was shocked as the young girl they were trying to find had seemingly found them, and was quite abrupt about getting away soon after.

Looking for a cut off point, she realized it smarter to just try growing a plant to keep the girl from getting further. She turned towards Tyril, trying to sign him to go the opposite direction as she began to chant a spell to stop the girl's current escape route from being accessible- by growing a plant in the middle of the alley she was using.

If they worked together, surely they'd stop her- right?

  6. Tyris had his own favorite places around the city, so the idea of trying to find the girl in her favorite hangouts seemed sensible to him. Still, he was surprised that they found her so soon- and even more so when it turned into a chase before anyone had even said anything. He wondered if the girl had found out about her pursuers somehow, or if perhaps she was simply scared off by Reaper's appearance.

Whatever the situation was, at Reaper and Harveste's urging, Tyris took off in a different direction. "Hey! Your family really misses you," he called out in the girl's direction. "Don't you wanna see them again?" If his sister Rauri had gone missing, Tyris knew he'd be desperate to find her. It occurred to him that the girl might have run away from home on purpose- but if that was the case, he just had to find out why.

  7. _____Reaper had the advantage in the alley ways, he spent his first few days in the game learning them like the back of his hand, the layout, the routes they lead to, and where he could vanish in them in case a job went south. Frame arcing over pushed trash cans and bouncing off some walls until managing to get the girl in a path Harveste had a plant and Tyris was at the other escape area. Reaper did not rush closer, staying a decent ways back with his hands raised so she could see them as he took his hood and blindfold off.

_____His nose slightly twitching at the scent of blood from the girl as he carefully approached. Her arm was cut up and some wounds on her back seemed to have reopened during the chase. Needless to say Reaper’s expression was not the best during his approach as he looked extremely enraged. Someone had attacked the girl recently, and while he himself would do something he had rules for it. Moving to allow Harveste and Tyris handle this he turned to avoid scaring the girl any more.

”I’ll leave things here for you two… Someone clearly attacked this girl and kept her away from home and I’m not one to allow such…”

_____Reaper’s voice was pure anger, his hand waving to open his UI and cast teleport once he was behind everyone and began running along the roofs. Someone in his network had to know who did this to the girl, and that someone who had was soon going to meet the very angry and protective Reaper. No, not to protect the girl from further harm but to protect the streets, there would be his to terrorize, not someone else's.

”Send out the crows… summon anyone within the network of kidnapping or slave smuggling and selling. Someone is working outside the set grid or in our area and needs to be paid a visit.”

_____Lightning crack across the clear sky before Reaper once again teleported and vanished leaving the two to make sure the girl returned home.

  8. Now alone with an injured child filled with despair and a boy she didn't really know well at all, Harveste stared awkwardly to the young girl with no idea what to do. As if without thinking, she went by instinct, pulling the young girl close into a hug- but this probably hadn't helped, because she felt the child shaking. Letting go, she frowned. Hugs really couldn't solve everything, after all.

"How should we explain this to her parents, you think?" She glanced to Tyris, a soft frown at her lips. "I can't imagine how I'd feel seeing my daughter in such a state."

The girl merely whimpered, leaving the faerin to struggle with her natural desire to hug the pain away. She clenched her fists and looked in the direction the stranger they'd been with fled. "I normally wouldn't say something like this, but hope that guy beats them good."

She returned her gaze back to the girl and to Tyris, holding a hand out to the girl. "Tyris and I will take you home, okay? Don't worry. You'll be safe now. If anyone tries to hurt you, I'll wrap them in vines. It's a promise, okay? I promise you, we'll keep you safe."

  9. It looked like Tyris might have had the wrong idea. The girl hadn't run away from home after all, but had apparently been attacked somewhere else. He'd managed to stay out of this sort of trouble in his life on the streets of Stokbon, but it seemed not everyone was as lucky. While Reaper set off to hunt down the culprits, it was up to Tyris and Harveste to bring the girl back to her family, which suited him just fine. He wasn't the confrontational type that would probably be needed for that kind of action.

"I don't know," Tyris answered Harveste with a shrug. "I guess you're the only one who can say what actually happened," he suggested to the girl. "But the important thing is it's over, and you can go back home. It's a good thing you have parents who care about you so much!"

As Harveste took one of the girl's hands, Tyris took the other. This whole situation just showed how important it was to have family. He'd have to spend some quality time with his sister later, to show his appreciation.
