Lucia only chuckled back when a queendom was talked about, a musing expression on Lucia's face, such a thing did suit her image of attention... Queendoms were frail though. She wanted something stronger, more volatile even, like a cult, or a religion-- Then-- Then she might reach the lofty heights of adoration that she desired. "It does sound nice-- Though I do have a lot of neat plans, ruling a Queendom does seem fun for a while. Though, when time passes, I might have to defer rule to you when other opportunities come for me." She teased playfully thinking about how nice it would be to make it that far. Hearing Sera desperately trying to offer herself though, Lucia's expression softened, reaching up a hand to softly pet her head gently she looked down into Sera's eyes as she spoke gentle words. "Don't worry. I'll always have a use for you, no matter the situation, I promise~" She urged, after all, Lucia was clever when it came to mechanizing a plot or scheme. Finding a use for anyone was normal and natural for her, whether as bait, or fulfilling some larger role, she believed she could find a place for Sera to fit into her plans and team formation very easily. "Practice makes perfect though, keep trying your best to make me proud alright? And if something does come out, we'll be able to face it." She added brightly as if describing some picturesque scene of taking on the world. Lucia smiled back at Sera who was so mystified by the comparison, after some thought, Lucia nodded slowly in consideration. "Maybe, I wonder, perhaps something like a duchess would be more suiting, princess just sounds so cute though it's hard to decide... Well, there will be time to think of it later." Lucia mused, stroking her own chin with slender fingers, as if tickling it with some measure of anticipation. It was a rousing thought to think of how others compared to her, still, she did like 'goddess' rather then queen, but that was a step too far into the future for her to properly anticipate. There would be a time she hoped-- in the near future. While Sera knelt, Lucia would continue to play with the weapon, her expression, poise and reaction to Sera's kneeling figure was nonchalant, as if this was natural, normal or to be expected. After giving it a few test tugs, satisfied, and making sure to give Sera some adequate praise, she glanced down at the still kneeling girl who was enjoying the feeling of her palm. Lucia gently brought the bow to her back, positioning it in a standby pose where it was gripped by her jacket outside of combat. Stretching out her two hands, she slid her fingertips over Sera's cheeks to turn her head up a little. "Just like this." Lucia whispered, letting Sera look up at her, the sun at Lucia's back through the window, a faint breeze brushing her wavy hair to one side as she looked down at Sera firmly. "This will be your place from now on. All you have to do is say 'yes'." She urged the girl, feeling that this was the time to strike, to immortalize herself in this girl's heart, to be someone who would draw her attention no matter where and when.
At first, Sera was a bit confused that Lucia seemed so dismissive of a queendom, as if such a thing was trivial, something to enjoy on the path to an even greater accomplishment, worthy of perhaps a moment's rest and a pat on the back, but not enough to stop on the climb upward. Though even as she thought that, she realized that for this woman before her, such was exactly the case. The people beneath a queen do not care what queen they are beneath, only that she is a queen. Sure, they may dissent at first that their previous queen is no more, but eventually they will be complacent. Obviously, Lucia was not deserving of such, for a queen could be spoken ill of, and was easily replaced. Sera did not know what role was right for the woman, but she knew that Lucia's aspirations were higher than Sera ever could have dreamed of going, and now she would be able to ride the hem of woman's clothes to a place near those heights as well. "I promise I will make you proud," she said almost immediately, and perhaps too quickly to quite differentiate between when one word ended and the next began. "I promise I will figure out what uses I can put my magic to, so that I can help you better," she said, much slower this time, with the same reverence one might carry when making an oath to a priest. When the woman considered reducing her nickname to 'duchess', Sera wasn't sure how to feel in regards to that. It was a step in the right direction, that is to say downward, and yet the woman was right, of course, that it did not have the same ring as 'princess'. "Not all titles are necessarily those of royalty or power," Sera pointed out. That wasn't to say she still didn't desire the titles of royalty and power. Over other people, she wanted nothing more than for them to bow to her and obey her commands. Yes, she would place herself firmly at the feet of this woman, but even then, she would be well above anyone else whom the woman had not also brought to her feet. Indeed, how much more would it raise up Lucia, if someone who was a queen to the vast populace was akin to a slave to her? Whatever role the woman gave her, though, Sera would accept it. It would come from Lucia, after all. Once more she wondered if also the raising of the title of 'queen' for Lucia was the solution, or part of it, but the fact the woman had already seemed to dislike 'empress', and not knowing any other ideas left Sera stumped. It was only when she was on her knees, staring up at Lucia as the light shined from behind her that Sera realized. The light had revealed to Sera Lucia's true nature. It had revealed it to such an extent, Sera wondered how she could not have seen it sooner. No titles of royalty could ever suit this woman, for royalty was a thing of people. The power and air of this woman so much closer match that of the divine. Sera stared into Lucia's face. The word 'yes' by itself seemed to inadequate. So lacking. Saying 'yes' alone felt so... equal. Sera shivered at the thought, and for once it was clearly in a level of fear. But what could she say? The woman told her to say yes if it was what she wanted. It was certainly what she wanted. She didn't want this first moment, then, to not be how the woman had told her it should be. What was she to do? Finally, she realized, and she chided herself for not realizing sooner. There was one basic rule that every child was taught, a phrase that should always be used when being offered something by anyone who might be called above. An extra word that would both betray to Lucia exactly how Sera felt, and yet make the statement of 'yes' which the woman had requested not the statement of an equal speaking to an equal in agreement, but of one lesser begging for something to be given to them by their better. Sera opened her mouth, and a slight whimper preceded her words. "Yes...please..."
Lucia chuckled sweetly, this girl seemed so determined, it practically made Lucia giddy, with butterflies in her belly, it was such a wonderful feeling to be adored-- IF only she had more of this, much more how satisfying would that be? Fantastic even! She could only let out a soft breath of contentment, if she thought about it any more her breathing might get a little rough from the excitement. Lucia was taking her first step, her first follower had appeared bringing light to the otherwise mundane world. It was a beautiful sight, but Lucia certainly didn't expect to arrive at this outcome so easily-- She was fortunate her avatar was so meticulously crafted, this was purely the perfect storm to take someone in she thought. "Be patient, practice makes perfect, you'll have plenty of chances to make me proud. One step at a time." She urged reassuringly, carrot and stick, she ignored a little and praised a little, it would result in more effort she thought, training after all was very important when creating fanatical followers-- She had to work diligently from now on to mold Sera properly. She had confidence this girl would become useful one way or another. Though seeing her struggle to even say the word yes, Lucia could only nod in satisfaction. This poor girl was likely beyond saving now, any who'd try to urge he to be suspicious of Lucia's interest in her would likely only be treated as betrayers or cruel people trying to turn her against her. It was at this moment, Lucia understood a little about why cult leaders had gone so crazy with power, Lucia took mental note not to push Sera too far, less the girl snap. As much as she appreciated her admiration and adoration, she didn't want her to just be a puppet or tool, her followers had to be intelligent and gifted, not just obedient and faithful. Hearing her respond with that simple 'yes' even adding a pleading word after, Lucia nodded back, content with her efforts. Leaning down, she tried softly to plant a gentle kiss on Sera's forehead, soft lips making only a brief contact while Lucia held her cheeks with her fingertips, bending down not enough to be seen on eye level, but enough to reach for her. "Good, then from now on you belong to me. It will be hard work, but... I'll be there for you." She reassured kindly. Only when she stood up did she finally bring her hands together with a soft clap, deciding now was the time to move. "In that case then, you'll be coming with me, we have a lot of work to do if you're to follow at my feet. First, you'll need to take an apprenticeship with a small guild so you'll be able to use forges in every town as a disciple. Next, we'll have to get a new home, my current adventurer's bag isn't large enough to function as a tent for two, we'll need to expand it somehow." Lucia mused on the possibilities while waiting for Sera to gather up her things. Despite what the poor girl might want, Lucia intended to move this second.
Once again, the woman told Sera 'practice makes perfect', and this time Sera realized - or at least thought - that the woman must be hinting at her that she wanted Sera to practice her Astramancy whenever the opportunity presented itself to do so. Therefore, Sera resolved to do just that. Sera's eyes closed at the touch of the woman's lips upon her forehead. Her eyes reopened slowly when the woman pulled away, and quickly became fixated staring directly into Lucia's own eyes. "Yes, I promise, I'll do my absolute best. For you," she added. It wouldn't be enough that she do only her own best. She knew that. It would only be enough that she did her best for Lucia. Even as she fulfilled crafting commissions from others, whether NPCs or players, whatever weapons she forged would be forged not truly for them, but for Lucia. The money she made from those jobs would be put toward helping Lucia with fulfilling Lucia's goals. As she trained with her magic, she would be discovering her abilities and growing stronger not for herself but so that she could prove herself useful to Lucia. Somehow, this woman had creeped in and infected every part of Sera's life now. Briefly, the girl wondered if Angel could be of some use to the woman, or how that part of her life would be affected by this. Was it far too soon to ask anything of the sort? She decided to wait. That one part of her, the girl who was not a blacksmith and magic user, but a bookstore clerk, comic book nerd, and gamer - that part would remain seperate, for now. But she knew that if this woman asked, Sera would give it to her in a heart beat. Sera listened as the woman began giving her instructions for what the next steps would be. Realizing that this was the woman preparing to leave, Sera quickly stood up and began gathering her things. There wasn't much - most of it she was borrowing from the NPC blacksmith. In fact, all she had were the items on her and a few materials. As such, she was finished by the time Lucia had finished talking. "How would I go about getting one of those apprenticeships?" She asked. "Would I just... ask them to join?" She offered. "As for a new home, I will help pay for that, to the best that I can. Both from my own purse, and..." she hesitated, not because she did not want to offer what would come next, but because she did not know how the woman would respond to it. "It seems right, that whatever I make from my smithing jobs, that a portion goes to you. Please, pick any number, whether ten percent or one hundred, and once I have finished purchasing all the recipes that I will need, and pay for any expenses I will have, that much will be yours, from each of my sales."
Lucia smiled sweetly as Sera got to packing up, cementing her commitment to serve. Lucia watched her with a vested interest, curious about what exactly was Sera's, but when she saw her finish so quickly, she nodded knowing this wouldn't take very long at least. Lucia was someone who needed to set up to sleep every night then. "Alright then, but don't expect this role to be easy, I need you to make sure you remember in reality too. Even if we're just playing a game, I'll be counting on you from now on." She spoke, subtle-y asking for Sera's real life obedience and compliance as well. "Soon I'll message you my play hours-- I expect you to set aside time to be here when I need you." She explained, as if demanding Sera put real life second compared to her commitment to her. It was asking a lot, too much even, but at the same time it was also a test of sorts. She was testing just how much Sera would adore her. Though the talk about what SEra made from crafting made Lucia rub her chin in thought, certainly she could ask this girl for a percent, even if she asked her for all of it Sera might give it to her... but-- what Lucia wanted was more attention, more admiration. Rather then wealth and advantages, she wanted this girl to firmly dedicate everything without holding back, the best way to do that-- Lucia thought in her head before speaking. "No, the gold you earn, hold onto it. Use it for yourself if you need it, you would have earned it after all. If you'd like to use it for me though, to help me, I'll always let you know." She reassured, wanting her to keep her GP, instead, if Lucia needed, she'd ask for it, it seemed generous, but at the same time couldn't really be thought of that way unless you were blinded. "In the mean time, I'll take you home, show you how I live, let you adjust. Someday in the future, when you can afford a forge, I'd like it if you thought of me." She gently encouraged Sera to buy a place when she could afford it not only for a forge, but for her too. "Come, don't drag your feet. This will be your first step in this lovely role~" She urged with a gentle smile before turning towards the door.
"I know it won't necessarily be easy, but I promise I won't fail you. I will make you proud," she swore. She mused at the idea of the woman telling her what times she would need to be on the game. That would affect her 'real life', would affect Angel. And yet... it would be fine, she thought. "My hours at my job are fairly flexible," she said. "I should be able to make it work, for sure." Her hours weren't particularly flexible, though. The store was only open at certain times, but they had been cutting Angel's hours slowly anyway - they had to, they were receiving so little business they couldn't afford to keep help that wasn't being used. Luckily, Sera didn't have to worry about rent or anything like that quite yet. She had enough in savings to last her a bit. Would she quit her job then, if she had to in order to fullfill this woman's requests of her? She didn't want to think of the answer. For now, still, she needed to at least hold the illusion that Angel had not fallen completely under this woman's spell as well, that if it ever got to be too much, she could log out and be free. But she knew she didn't want to be free, and somehow that didn't scare her. That was the part that scared her. When Lucia told her to keep everything she'd earned, unless it was specifically asked for, Sera lowered her head. "I understand. Thank you," she said. It felt weird - she would be the one earning the money, so why was she both grateful and saddened at the woman's response? "If you ever change your mind, please let me know," Sera said. "I would be more than willing to give you a tithe..." She wondered if using that word was a mistake. It had clear religious connotations, and as of yet, Sera was not sure how the woman would respond to that. Likewise, she didn't want to give the woman an impression that Sera was unhealthily obsessed with her, on the chance that Lucia would be scared off by such. Yet something within Sera hinted that Lucia knew exactly how Sera thought of her, and wanted it to be that way. But she couldn't be certain. "But I would be thinking of you anyway," she blurted out. Her face flushed red. She had said that too quickly. Had she? Or had she not said it quickly enough? Her heart pounded heavily, raced, stood still with panic, and then pounded rapidly once again. Lucia had said she was taking Sera 'home', not just to Lucia's home. "And I will be staying with you?" Sera asked, a quiver of hope and excitement in her voice, and her pace quickened a bit from her already eager speed. She had thought that Lucia said such a thing earlier, but she needed to hear it in no uncertain terms, she needed to know for sure.
Lucia only chuckled a little at the woman's hasty commitment, as if thinking she were taking it too lightly, oblivious to just how serious she was. Shaking her head briefly she tried to be reassuring. "No no, I'll not ask too much of you. I have work to do as well during the days as well. This is jut to make sure we don't miss each other by chance." Lucia explained, thinking it would put this woman at ease as she reached up to stroke her cheek. "I don't want to lose my precious treasure after all right? Just like you promised to make me proud, I promise I'll take care of you." Lucia tried to reassure, unaware that saying such things might only suck the woman's real self in more. Not dwelling on it though, she slid her fingertips away from her cheek, brushing herself off content with her efforts to help Sera understand her intentions, after all the hours she played wouldn't be too demanding she thought. "I would like you to stay connected through the nights though... So we can spend them together before morning." She added softly. Hearing the disappointment in her voice, Lucia only chuckled sweetly at the woman's words, even her choice of words. She was so eager to support her, Lucia understood taking wouldn't be the best, but the disappointment was clear. It took only a bit of quick thinking for her to think of a way to dodge that and make sure Sera's disappointment faded leaving only the gracious thankfulness. "Maybe you think it's necessary to give to me, but I don't see it that way. We should use your money to better our lifestyle, to support you. That way, someday, you might be able to accept a tithe from others in my name." Lucia explained with a playful giggle, her tone was sweet, jokingly even, but her word choice might be scary, as if in the future Sera might be the leader of a faith that believed Lucia to be their deity and that, as the leader, Sera would receive the tithes in her place. She was joking, teasing, sweetly even... but it could be taken as serious, as an ambitious suggestion or demand in a different light. When she blurted out her words though, Lucia chuckled, particularly when Sera asked if she would stay with her, a mellow grin came to Lucia's face. She stepped forward towards Sera, her arms spreading wide before suddenly wrapping them around the girl. Pulling her in extremely close, Lucia hugged her dearly. Close enough for Sera to feel her soft frame pressed against her, from her modest chest down to her hip. The down of her jacket brushing against Sera's skin, the soft feeling of her breath on her ear and neck, the warm floral scent of her hair. "Don't be silly, of course you're staying with me." She spoke gently, but slowly her grip on Sera tightened a little, the feeling of her fingertips-- and if Sera's clothing was thin enough, even her fingernails digging into her gently gripping her as she spoke. "You belong to me... Belong with me. Now, let's go home before it gets too dark." She whispered before slowly sliding away, a playful smile on her face.
Sera nodded slowly when the woman reassured her that she wouldn't ask too much. She found her eyes closing in serenity at Lucia's touch, and at the combination of both touch and voice everything else in the world seemed to fade away. Lucia called her 'precious treasure'. Lucia told her that she would take care of her. Wasn't that all she would ever need? Sera had a slight start when the woman's hand was taken away, but quickly recovered. She nodded slowly when the woman said she wanted to spend the nights together. That would be more than fine. Sleep was sleep, whether it was while connected to a VR headset or not. And things that may or may not happen before sleep? Well, Sera didn't know how those things might go about inside a game world, but she figured that if she would find out with anyone, it would be this woman. At the woman's words about the tithe, Sera looked up. "I promise you, I will make the arrival of that day my goal in this life," she said. And it was true. Sera knew that she alone would never be able to give Lucia all the praise and adoration the woman deserved. Sera wasn't a jealous girl - in fact, she was beginning to want others to share the way she saw Lucia. But she certainly wanted them to know that Sera had seen the real Lucia first. If Lucia wished, Sera would lead a cult in her name, as their High Priestess, or whatever term Lucia wished. What was Lucia the goddess of, though? Many ideas came to Sera's mind, but they were all lacking. Love was a whimsical emotion, and while powerful, was cliche. Though cliche wasn't always bad. Power was a logical choice, but the woman before her was so much more than powerful. Besides, deities of power were often brutish, though not always. She would have to discover what best fit Lucia as time went by, she decided. Sera was surprised when she was suddenly brought toward the woman in a hug. Lucia would certainly feel the girl's heart pounding rapidly and heavily at the closeness. The woman's hair, though... Sera inhaled deeply, the smell of lilac and gooseberries flowing into her. Sera's eyes closed again as she tried to absorb as many details about this moment as she could so that she could remember it for a very long time. The bite of Lucia's nails wouldn't change Sera's desire to remember the moment, expect maybe increase it, but it did elicit a whimper from Sera, as did the woman's reminder that Sera now belonged to Lucia. With Lucia was a given. To Lucia was a gift. As the woman pulled away slowly, Sera would snap her eyes open and reach out to try to hold something of the woman's - perhaps her hand or her arm - as she followed her out of the door and into the slowly approaching night.
Lucia went out into the early night, it wasn't dark yet but it would no doubt be dark soon. When Sera reached out to grab onto her, Lucia would offer her a hand, softly taking Sera's in it giving her hand a gentle squeeze. She even bent her arm in case the girl wanted to hug her arm and hold her hand at the same time. Lucia wasn't picky, attention was attention and she adored giving the woman a chance to give her any. She walked with a steady gait, somewhat in silence, some idle chatter about her experiences with magic and combat since Sera was inexperienced. It was largely a lecture of Lucia just talking about clever tricks and experiences she'd gone through to try and sure up Sera's understanding of the game's combat system. Sera herself didn't fight, so she tried to let this be the girl's way of keeping up with others who might already have their hands dirty. It was only when they arrived at a reasonable location that she stopped, hand in hand with Sera tugging the girl back softly. "This will be where we sleep today. I'll show you how our home works for now. We'll live modestly until we can change and grow-- We need time to develop after all." Lucia explained with a coy smile, though her words were sensible as she began to open the bag at her back hanging from her waist. Within were a myriad of arrows, the fletching of the arrows were all different colors revealing them each to be different and separate. There was only one group that was even more unique, with strange loops at the end rather then the typical feathers one might expect to see. These were stashed next to a rolled up bag that Lucia began to pull free. "In the future I want you to try to craft something better, I ended up making this on the fly, I'll ask you to make me something nicer." She explained, with a flick of the rolled up bag revealing it to be quite large, as if it were a tent, if Lucia tried to carry it it would be large enough to drag a family of six let alone actual materials. Using the ropes, she threaded them through three corners of the bag's opening before pulling down the bow Sera made her. She fired the three arrows up into tree tops, each one stabbing deep into a tree to pin the rope down before she finally turned to Sera offering her one end of the rope. "It functions like a hammock, you only have to lift us up off of the ground." She spoke leaving the heavy lifting and labor intense job to Sera, though it might seem cruel, Lucia acted as if it were normal, she waited for Sera to haul their little tree camp up into the canopy with a content pose.
Sera would indeed take the woman's hand and wrap her arms around Lucia's arm, which she held tightly to her chest, in the center of her breasts. She listened, as best as she could anyway, to the woman's lecture about combative situations. Sera knew one day, she would be helping the woman with such things. But for now, she wouldn't be particularly useful in that specific area. That's why she would make especially sure to be useful in every other area, and when she finally would be able to assist in the combat situations, she could be able to stand right by Lucia's side. When they stopped, Sera at first did not understand why the woman had chosen this location, though a part of her confusion was caused by her mental distraction over being a little sad that Lucia had freed her arm from Sera's embrace. This certainly wasn't the mansion she had pictured Lucia deserving, or even something like a small apartment that Sera planned on first using to room. In fact, it was just an open space with trees. Sera was distracted by trying to figure out what exactly they were doing here by Lucia explaining that she would want Sera to craft a better version of the arrows in the future. Sera squinted, trying to observe the arrows to figure out what their purpose was. The rings on the back of them looked like they were designed for something to be attached to, or tied to. Realization dawned on her when Lucia began to spread out the tent-like structure. Sera's hands went to her face and she squealed in excitement. "Oh, my goddess! Are we sleeping in a treetop under the stars??? That's so romantic!" She said excitedly. She began to move around, examining both the structure of the tent, the arrows, and the trees Lucia was aiming at. "Oh my gosh! I haven't gone camping or anything like that since I was a little girl! Like, really young and everything!" Her excitement and childish glee wouldn't be damped by Lucia telling her to do the heavy work and extending the rope toward her. Rather, Sera would quickly embrace the woman in a tight hug from the side, and then grab the rope as she pulled away. Sera wasn't exactly the strongest girl in the world, however, or even anywhere close. She struggled to lift the tent, but it would visibly rise up steadily and steadily. "Let me know when it's good!" Sera said happily, her excitement both coming from the fact that she viewed this as essentially camping and from fulfilling a request of Lucia's. She paused, momentarily, not in her work but in her excitement, before she corrected herself. "That is, please tell me when I have it where you would like it to be?" With her statement corrected, Sera would go back to beaming happily, and continued to raise the tent.
Hearing Sera's squeal after she realized what was going on, Lucia could only grin back clearly proud for her choice, it might not be luxurious, but most players were either paying for inn rooms or squatting in some cave or in some other unsanitary place. Lucia felt her solution was a lot more elegant and clever even. "That's right, out under the stars, just you and me together camping." She reassured to add fuel to Sera's enthusiasm. Seeing the girl so eagerly yanking the tent up, she reached out to pet her head softly as she exerted herself, gentle reassurance that she was doing good and she should continue using all of her strength for her sake. Finally when it just began to reach the canopy of the treetops, Lucia gave a small nod trying to reassure her that she'd done well. "Alright, that's enough, here--" She spoke trying to use the last arrow to tie off the end of the rope. The arrows served to support their weight and also keep the tent raised up off the ground and away from danger. Reaching up for the stationary rope, Lucia swept a hand out gently towards Sera's chin, giving it a gentle stroke as if rewarding her as she spoke. "For the longest time I've not had a good pillow in this game. Tonight, you'll take care of being my pillow~" She teased, her gaze turning down towards Sera's chest, ogling her intentionally to indicate exactly what Lucia wanted as her pillow. Once her intention was clear she'd begin tugging the rope to test her arrows, they were well done, the strength and stability reassured her before she grabbed on more firmly. "Hurry-- I need you~" She repeated before she began climbing up the rope with a delicate shimmy. Her legs wrapped around it, ankles locked, arms pulling herself up as her thighs wrapped around the rope to pull her up to the tent. She climbed up little by little, gripping the bag when she made it up to fold her body over into it and roll in. The floor would sink down like a hammock, but just a little thanks to the triangle shape. The flap that was currently open let the night sky be revealed above, but if needed it was clear, Lucia could buckle the bag up to close it if there was rain.
Sera purred slightly at the reassuring pat on her head. She almost wondered, at the sound coming from her own throat, if she should have made her character a Felis. No matter, what was done was done. She didn't know if there was a way to change. She closed her eyes and smiled brightly as she purred, still pulling the rope as best as she could. She hummed when Lucia told her that she had gotten the tent to where it needed to be. When Lucia rubbed her chin, Sera would try to press her face and head into the woman's hand more, desperate for her attention and approval. She giggled when Lucia said she would serve as the woman's pillow tonight. "So long without a good pillow, and tonight you're getting two!" She said with a wink. If Lucia's hand was still near her face, or even near her in general, Sera would take it gently, if allowed, and guide it to exactly where Lucia was staring. Sera tried to follow Lucia up the tree, but moved much slower though as she had never been rather experienced with climbing trees and didn't want to injure herself in anyway. She tried her best to copy the manner which Lucia was climbing the tree, but she slipped and fell while she was still pretty low to the ground. Deciding that method wouldn't work, she resolved to use magic. She had found her teleportation spell worked better when her prism was out, so first she spoke the single word chant that summoned the prism once again. Then, she focused on the hammock, opened her menu, and hit the button to cast her teleportation spell. She vanished in a flash of rainbow light, only to reappear instantly beside Lucia in the hammock, so gently that the hammock did not even shake at her presence. When she finally made it up, she hesitated for a moment. "How would you like me to be?" She asked, starting to lay down but then stopping herself. The prism floated in the air above the two of them. "Sera Phim" spoke a voice into Sera's mind, inaudible to Lucia. Not realizing it was not Lucia who had spoken to her, Sera shifted slightly from whatever position she was in at this point. "Yes?" She asked, thinking Lucia had wanted her for something.
Lucia was contented with Sera's effort to hoist the tent up, glad to see her exerting herself for her sake, it only served to drive home the feeling she felt that Sera felt for her. Content she watched Sera, her hand still on her chin. Feeling Sera moving it downward to her chest, Lucia was a little surprised initially, before suddenly giggling giving the girl a gentle squeeze. "It means a lot to me." Lucia admitted seeing Sera's willingness to support her reach a new level in her own mind. This girl would be an incredible supporter, not just a piece on the board at this point, something more genuine was blossoming making Lucia feel warmer in her heart. It was a good feeling, one she hadn't felt safe enough to feel in a long time. When she climbed up, waiting for Sera, she was a little surprised to find Sera appearing right beside her, but remembering her description of her skill set, Lucia didn't dwell on it. "Just get comfortable, lay down with me is all-- There's no need to stress." Lucia instructed with a softer tone, indicating sleep more then any suspicious night time activity. When Sera sat back up asking a 'yes' Lucia only reached out a gentle hand to the girl's chest to softly lay her back down. "Ssshh.. Rest time." She answered in a hushed voice. Sera seemed bothered by something, but Lucia didn't dwell on it, pushing her back down, she started to turn herself to rest herself against Sera's chest. Her head softly finding the most comfortable place to rest against that soft place. Though the more it seemed like Sera wasn't exactly listening to her, she perked a brow leaning up, her hair brushing against Sera's collar as she asked in question. "Is something wrong?" She seemed puzzled more then concerned, Sera seemed to be listening to others making her wonder if she might be getting messaged or poked by the system.
Sera smiled and lowered her head at Lucia's words. It means a lot to her. "I will always be here, to serve you in whatever way you need, or want," she said. "You told me that I belonged to you. Property, weapons, tools, toys belong to people. It is not the place of those things to tell the one they belong to how they can be used. The one they belong to knows the way they are to be used, the way they were made to be used. And when they are honest, if they could speak, they would know and say that is the way they want to be used." She said. Sera laid down as she was hidden up in the hammock. She frowned slightly when the woman told her to be silent and to rest, even after she could have sworn she had spoken her name. She laid back down as she was pushed, and closed her eyes as Lucia's head laid down upon her chest. The prism flashed brightly in front of them both. "Sera Phim! We do not like to be ignored, Sera Phim!" the prism moved closer to Sera's face, her eyes now opened. It shined each of it's seven colors at once for a moment. "~Angel~" Sera jerked backward in a panicked start, most likely bothering Lucia in the process if she had not already been bothered by the flashing lights (though the voices [for indeed, Sera had realized that there was more than one, but they were talking all at once] would still only be audible only to her. "It knows my name!" She said, looking to Lucia. "They know my name!" Sera swatted at the prism, which deftly floated out of her reach. "My real name! They know my real name!" She said, her voice shaking with fear. "We are not a threat! Be still!" the prism spoke, this time it's voice being audible to both of the two in the hammock. "Lest you plummet yourselves to the ground!" Sera immediately went still, cold, and pale. If she could, she could grab Lucia's arm tightly for support. "We wish to speak with you both."
Lucia only smiled with warmth in her heart at Lucia's reply, it was a tender warmth for this girl willing to reduce herself to an object that was wielded. "Sera, you are my tool, I will use you well-- But you are also my treasure, I won't allow you to break." She answered softly, with reassurances and kindness. She felt the need to hug the girl, but refrained, instead resting on her chest still, Lucia comforted herself by snuggling in just a bit deeper. "I'll use you a lot though, so be ready." She added with a coy snicker. Though when she heard Sera panic and freaking out about the fluttering lights, Lucia initially thought it was just for the sake of lighting while they got settled. Realizing it was more though, Lucia mused, rather calm compared to the panicking girl. Lifting a hand as if she were trying to command a dog rather then calm a person she spoke in a firm voice. "Sera, calm down. Quiet." She spoke forcefully trying to calm the woman down fiercely before glancing back at the light, then back to Sera with a heavy sigh. While Sera was trying to grab her arm for support, Lucia instead turned to grab Sera by the waist. With a sharp tug, she pulled with all of her strength to drag Sera into her lap softly, hugging her closely. The scent of her hair close as she leaned over Sera's shoulder whispering into her ear in the most soothing voice she could manage. "Now, calmly, it knows your name but it hasn't hurt you-- whatever it is, it's not hostile yet. What we need is information-- you need to tell me what's going on. Try to find out." She began slowly trying to pilot Sera through the situation, whispering instructions into her ear to lead her tool properly.
