Personality
Chris tends to be a bit much for anyone just meeting him. He tends to look at a new person as a problem to be solved, and he takes part in a conversation as if he’s navigating a mine field. It’s not because he’s antisocial, but mostly because he’s shy by nature. He doesn’t want to offend anyone with his words, and it’s because of this his words sound hesitant and calculating. It’s also because of his analytical nature that he’s quite blunt in his words. He doesn’t jump around or sidestep a subject, and will let you know what he thinks whether you want to hear it or not. However he’s not sadistic or mean in his words; he just tells you like it is.
Mostly this is due to his high intelligence and creative mind. In school he hardly needed to study, and had a knack for picking up things that would take months for most other people. Often this is applied to things requiring the mind like math and science, but for Chris it also applied to menial labor like working on a roof or building a bookshelf. He never became perfect at anything, and tended to be more of a jack-of-all-trades type. There is one slight problem with having a creative mind, and that is he easily becomes distracted with other thoughts. This has caused him to get into the habit of procrastinating till the last minute, but he still get the job done.

Biography
Chris was born into a family of hard workers. Both his parents worked year round in order to provide for Chris and his two siblings. Because of this his parents tried to instill a strong work ethic in their children, and for most it worked. However Chris was kind of a ‘black sheep’ in the family. Even though he was smart at a young age and had impressed his teacher with his creativity his parents were more practical. They never let him express that creativity, nor did they encourage his imagination. Instead they forced him to focus on what they deemed important, which was studying.
Unfortunately for both Chris and his parent he fell in love with video games. A way to escape the struggle and forced expectation of his parents video games held a strong attraction to him at a young age. But at the same time he didn’t want to disappoint his parents. So he did what all young children did at a young age, he kept his interest hidden. During times where he was supposed to be studying he would secretly play video games. He learned most everything he needed from his classes, and because he retained most of what he learned he didn’t need much time to study. So he turned to video games.
As he grew he kept his enjoyment of video games a secret. He started going to college for a degree in biological science in order to appease his parents, but even after he moved out he kept his video games a secret. And he became quite good at them. So when an email came describing a new mmo called Terrasphere Chris leaped at the chance to try it. In secret of course.
