The Ebony clouds in the grey sky were thick with water and they were ready to rain all over the Azurian castle below. The weather had dropped recently, freezing up the water around the castle and the rest of Azurian. Even the fountains in the castle froze up. This city was something different to him, he didn't understand why the people started to believe that Ice Wraith's had begun appearing in the city at night when there wasn't any evidence of such creatures in the city, he had a feeling it would only be a matter of time before they ask for his help probably. "Go out in the damm cold over ghosts? I don't think so." He thought to himself, he had no intentions of doing that If he could help it. He couldn't believe at the extreme change in the weather, only the night before, the snow started to fall and it left a fragile blanket on the ground. With all the snow about, it was enough to cover everything and it was enough for him to stay in Countess Ruvelia's castle, he wasn't in any hurry to leave and she certainly didn't care since he was helping her. The Cold didn't stop anyone in the castle or in the city, the guards were either already out performing their duties or were getting ready for them while the servants and cooks were already on the move doing their jobs as well, he really should get ready as well although that proved difficult to him.
This certain anti-hero in this castle was having a bit of a struggle getting out of his bed, besides the usual laziness, he couldn't stop thinking of Alia for some reason "Why?" He muttered to himself, was he no longer good enough? Or perhaps she had completely forgotten about him? Maybe the worst happened, maybe her parents had found her and forced her off peramently? No matter, it had been a long time since he had seen her and he had grown significantly more powerful in that time, he knew he couldn't waste anymore of his time on thoughts such as these even though it was hard even for him to let go of a person, he was still human after all. There was also tthe fact he had been feeling like shit for the last few days, he must of cought a cold, of course that was his luck right? The Countess had taken noticed and had granted permission to his maid, Emmerline to have access to the warehouse of herbs they had in the castle to help cure her lord of his sickness. Since than, she had given him different herbs and medications made from herbs but her luck wasn't all too well, she even tried to massage him but that didn't work as well, she herself became fustrated at the endevour she had been given since nothing seemed to work
At the very least, she was to correct his breath which was plus since you know, he could actually breath now since she had bought some mysterious herb at the marketplace. It was quite annoying since Emmerline and Ursa acted like he was dying when he had a simple illiness that would pass in a few days, it wasn't like he was dying, not that he would allow himself to die by a damm cold. Laying on his side, looking out the window, he sighed for a moment as the covers to his bed were dangling off it's side, he was cold as a result. He rolled to his other side while still laying on the bed, he grabbed the covers and wrapped his body warmly. He closed his eyes as began to fall back to sleep when Emmerline came in his room, His eyes slowly creeped open as he gazed opon Emmerline in her cute maid outfit "ughh....Maid outfits should not be legal." He said to himself quietly as she began preparing tea for the two.
