  1. Somewhere in Crystallized Zalra

img "Hahahaa... ooooh Utha.... isn't this place a miracle of nature? The voices tell me he still needs to think up plot hahahahaa... It doesn't need PLOT. It has... enough already if you ask Elica... It's dead... hahahahaaa."

A girl pets a strange shadowy creature vaguely shaped like a cat in her arms. She is dressed much like the character Alice, from Alice in Wonderland. Only in darker colors and her face is somewhat... off in a strange way. She talks quietly and yet sometimes much louder at random. However she gives the aura of someone who does know exactly what they are doing. Even standing here now in the middle of the cursed crystalline land.

"...Sister oh sister... Dark Descender...where oh where is your PACT now? Lost in the the old threads...hahahaa."

She gazed at something in the distance. Yet anyone who would see her would not see anything within the line of sight but the vastness of the crystal valley. The young lady began to scratch at the back of the cat like beings head.

"Utha.... do you think... she wanted this to begin with? It is a domino that she pushed... Hahahahaa... she did say that BLOOD and death would be the welcoming call for us all. Oh how... sad... dropped like a piece of unwanted trash... she can't see it ... can't hear it... the ticking hahahaaa..."

She dropped the shadow in her hands and pulled out a small pocket watch with a classy yet simple design. The strange feline thing rubbed her ankles as it circled her. She opened her watch with a quick flip and stared as if entranced by the hands slowly ticking away within.

    "The zhro nog... "

She said with a sound of great joy and strangely motherly smile.

  2. Approach: Speak to the Girl

Having not been many times to the forest of crystals, Harveste had decided it was a good time to explore while the dust was settling in the areas around her, events far too stressful for her to attempt to take part. Walking alone, she seemed to stare at each of the crystallized plants, noticing small bits of crystalline powder upon the otherwise bland ground at her feet.

Ahead, she noticed a strange girl, a girl akin to the great old tale of Alice and the kingdom of hearts. From afar, she could slightly hear parts of the girl's unusual speech, her pattern erratic and seemingly focused on the kitten in her arms. When the cat soon found itself on the ground, the faerin found herself drawn in by the woman's illustrious voice and peculiar tune.

"Miss, are you alright? You seem a bit lost in thought. If you don't mind me, I'd be happy to lend an ear. If nothing else, sharing your troubles will lessen the load...And I bet the lighter the load, the more you'll smile. And the more you smile, the happier your friend here will be too, right?" Crouching down, she smiled without trying to pet it. This cat was the stranger's and her's alone.

Her pet slime, unlike her, tried to get closer to it. "Sorry about Drip here. He likes to cuddle, no matter who it is. I'm Harveste...What's your name? Yours too, little fella~"

  3. img At first the Alice in Wonderland look a like said nothing. She kept gazing into the watch and mouthing something silently. Harveste's words possibly falling onto deaf ears. The shadowy cat hissed in a horrific and ear piercing manner. Like nails scratching against a chalkboard as it's flame like fur raised up in response to the approaching slime. The dark creature leaped up onto the strange girl's shoulder as she then finally spoke out loud...

"Aimgr'luhh ot sleeper. Utha... IS she bothering you? Sleepers are sad yes? The voices... the voices say it could have been others, but rules of the board say otherwise. N'ghftlloig isn't IT Utha? We get the left overs, extras, underused, spares."

She placed one hand over the lid of the pocket watch and shut it with a click. Then wrapped the chain around her wrist tightly as she glanced at Harveste. The dark feline named Utha staring at the girl with glowing bluish eyes.

"Greetings sleeper! Little Faerin! I think you PREFER that to sheep right? Hahahahaa... more fitting for all things can awaken to truth in time. I am a AVATAR and a player and a character of a many month project! I am Elica Mirg. I am absolutely insane and could kill you within the next FEW minutes, or seconds, or hours... or maybe NEXT year? If we are all still geb by then! Hahahahaa!"

Elica gave a deep curtsy, lowering her head down and letting her hair hang down around her. The cat remained balanced perfectly and barely moved.

"But worry not, you picked a good option I would think... Elica can't hurt you if the plot doesn't say so! Hahahahahaa!"

She stood back up very suddenly and shrugged before pointing upwards then down and in different directions with a finger as the hand doing the pointing slowly approached Harveste's face. Elica leaned forward....

"Up, east, down, right, northwest... The voices are everywhere and SAY the time is coming. The yar ah nog! The gods, the single truest dieties... they know what we need and will give it to us soon! "

As she said the word 'us', her finger tapped the Faerin's nose and she quickly thrust her own face into the girl's. Now nose to nose. Her smile like a big sister inviting a little sister to a 'more mature' slumber party.

"You know purpose is a lie right? That we are the flesh of the truth? Do you want to awaken or stay a sleepy sheepy? ...Hahahahaa! Oh NO, never, not in the least for you! Unless June says so right right RIGHT?!"

Elica pulled away and slapped her head with her own hand. Cocking it with a smile of friendly realization.

"Sorry bout that! Tsk tsk, I am way ahead of the game here! "

Utha made a small noise that was something akin like a cat purr from hell. Elica reached up and petted it as it sat onto her shoulder and seemed to relax some.

"You know eternity is Mgehye'lloig. I have seen god... and he is fucking hot as sin! Hahahahahahahaaa! Oh oh so sorry... I am talking your EARS off isn't Elica? Utha should have stopped ME!"

She made a ugly look at the cat which seemed to ignore it. The turned back to Harveste with a meh look.

"I can't wait for the next SEASON! Can you?! Oh I think I made myself a bit concupiscent even thinking about him... hahahaa! Well, oh welly well! Time to zoop the loop! Toodles!"

A black vortex emerged behind her. A massive a stench filled gust of wind blast forth from it. Almost taking Harveste off her feet. If the land all around was not crystal, it sure would look like a hurricane was blowing through that gateway. The strange girl turned towards the portal with a friendly wave like she was leaving a children's show. She took one foot into the blasting portal before turning back slightly. Utha leaped into the portal as Elica said:

"Ngnah... do you want to play with me some? I could MURDER you a million times over and not grow bored like that other wretched bitchy whore.., this world allows it too... for a while...."

She seemed to wait for a second.... as if the Faerin would actually agree to be killed.

  4. As the cat jumped off the ground to avoid the slime's affection, the lavender-haired girl could only giggle timidly, shivering as the slime used it's mucus much like a slug to climb up her leg and body, somehow clinging to her until on the top of her head. "Sorry about Drip here. He doesn't have many friends besides me right now. I guess he got excited to see a cute girl and an equally cute kit."

While the Faerin knew her words could be taken the wrong way easily, her heart meant every term. To her, this (albeit insanely eccentric) girl had the appearance of a sweet and innocent child with an adoring pet to coddle, a match made in heaven that seemed closer than peas in a pod. Sure, she had more energy than the woman could handle generally, but that just made her cuter. A child to protect, no matter her age.

Still, the eccentricity went a little farther than the curious writer would dare venture.

"I'd enjoy joining you normally, but I'm not sure I can handle much today...Plus, I'm still studying the crystal structures around here. Don't you find them amazing? They just go on for miles...To think this was caused by a disease of sorts is beyond my comprehension."

She mulled over for a moment some of the things the stranger said in her neurotic stupor. Mentions of 'the truth', of 'sheep'...Perhaps this stranger saw herself as a shepherd? If so, then perhaps it would be best to reference her internally as 'Little Bo Peep'. And yet, there was more to it- she mentioned voices, voices from the future perhaps, claiming the time for what was needed was near.

Each thought provoked a different song to play on repeat in her head, her skull filled with a variety of music that did not bode well when blended together. Her inner voice was high and eerie to her, as if not her own. Was insanity contagious? No, she'd already been insane long before this. Did I forget to take my meds...? It's like I'm starting to hear what she's talking about on my own...

Her legs felt like they'd shake, but she managed to fight them. Her anxiety was high, but yet she felt oddly at ease with the girl who so readily admitted an inclination towards murder for play. Was this the player killer she'd once tried to help find? For that matter, was this girl even a player herself? She seemed far too maddened to be a player, far too tainted by the game's inner code.

"You remind me of someone...A someone named Morgana..." She'd finally found the truest song she could sing for that moment. Her eyes closed as the melody flowed in her mind and body, like a spell had been cast upon her very soul. Though it wasn't as low in pitch as the original, her higher octave gave the song an even more dreaded appeal in her heart- a mixture of dread and wonder, stirred by the voice of a child's longing to understand the world around her.

"If you are near to the dark
I will tell you 'bout the sun~
    You are here, no escape
from my visions of the world..."

She seemed to be in a trance for the moment, but as she began to open her eyes, she bowed in greeting once more to the stranger, before she began to continue her song. As she sang the rest of her melody, she wandered into the distance, further and further, her voice trailing lighter and lighter on the wind.

The only remnants of her existence in that place was a final flurry of the verse.

"Knowing the song I will sing
Till the darkness comes to sleep~
Come to me, I will tell
'Bout the secret of the sun..."
