10:46 PM. The night was particularly peaceful, in this part of the wilderness. Nothing but the owls that live in the trees, as well as the various predators that hunt at nighttime. A raccoon had passed along the way, as she made her way towards the lake; curious thing, that was. Wooden slippers trailed slowly along the river, following it's flow upstream, and not downstream. Finally, she had found her calling; a glistening lake, with the moon reflecting off of it. It was a beautiful sight. It felt much less salty and unforgiving than the ocean. At the same time, with less space, more fish could be felt underfoot, wriggling around the lake as they became more active during the nighttime. With this in mind, Capernaum sat under a great, elder tree and cast her line into the lake.
_____Alice was still not used to the larger forest, this one had a bit too many scary animals that took her some time to get along with. Much more when her small friend Kitsy enjoyed slapping the nose of any animal twice her size, the little runt fox was peacefully curled around Alice’s neck, her black pelt standing out over Alice’s white dress and blonde hair. Her sky blue eyes glowing as she watched the moon and stars while she walked. Every so often Kitsy would squeak to inform Alice to watch her step. _____Logging on at night was not always a good thing for her, however since it allowed her body to rest and her mind to wander and enjoy the game she preferred it. Her pacing did however slow down when she noticed someone fishing in the lake. Her frame moving quickly behind some bushes as she panicked, meeting people out in the woods always felt odd to her, much more someone who looked as young as she did at this hour. _____Kitsy on the other hand gave zero concern for Alice’s hiding and hopped down and ran over to the girl fishing. Her white eyes glowing as she stared at the fisher and tipper her head to the left. After a few moments Kitsy would paw at the girl and move her head like she wanted to be petted, her usual tactic of play. If the girl tried to pet the small fox it would run around her and start climbing her until she sat on the girl’s head and looked to where Alice now emerged. ”Kitsy I told you to stop trying to climb up on people!” _____The fox tipped her head slightly before proudly sitting atop the girl’s head if she had reached it. ‘I’m not trying I'm succeeding!~’ was likely what the fox was hinting as she refused to move until either the girl moved or she was taken down by Alice moments later. The small fox looking at the fisher as she rolled up in Alice’s arms. Alice looked slightly skittish around Capernaum. Dealing with people was like trying to calm down a dire bear from mauling Kitsy, maybe even worse for Alice sometimes as she nervously stood beside the girl for a few moments. ”I’m sorry for interrupting your evening, but why fish in the night time alone? If you fall asleep who is gonna pull your line in if something bites? Or if scary animals come who is gonna help you keep them away?” _____Alice was both concerned and trying to make things less awkward for herself and maybe the other girl. It took Alice a few moments before she looked sad and bowed her head a bit. ”Sorry, I never introduced myself… I’m Alice, and this little troublemaker is Kitsy.” The small fox squeaked happily at getting the introduction before moving back to resting around Alice’s neck. If the girl did not seem to want the company Alice would leave, but she wanted to make sure the girl knew how dangerous Astorea forest could be at night.
