  1. She was still covered in wurm goo when she logged back in.

    Thankfully she did pop in somewhere nearby Stokbon rather than inside the city itself. Appearing out of thin air covered in blood probably wouldn't have made for the best impression. She found a pond to clean herself up in as best she could and then entered the city, dress noticeably pinker than it used to be.

    Not having spent the most time in Falderen's capital, Ash quickly took to wandering around. She wasn't lost, she was just enjoying the sights. There was a nice-looking cafe down this street, a confectionary store nearby the park, some delightful street lights with ornate lamps, a dress emporium and haberdashery over here... Stokbon really was a lovely place.

    It did seem pretty devoid of players. Or at least, that was what Ash thought. But then again, a lot of people probably wouldn't be very comfortable going into Falderen's capital city after what happened at Castle Dormont. She guessed it was only logical that there were less players around here.

    Oh! But recalling that entire sequence of events reminded Ash of something important: she didn't have anything nice to wear! This dress was basically ruined, and she couldn't meet the King of Falderen like this! She'd have to buy something new.

    Hmm. But, it felt weird to just go shopping for clothes alone. She'd need someone to give her a second opinion. There was that other girl there when they were making their way out of the castle, wasn't there? Her name was @Isolt Veera, wasn't it? Hopefully she'd be up for some clothes shopping.

    Nervously, Ash typed out a message, adding a location alert to the message as well.

    Um, hello? This is Isolt, right? I'm Ash, from the castle before. I was just wondering if you were around Stokbon. Do you want to go shopping for some fancy clothes to wear? I mean, we're going to meet with the King and all, so I just thought we might want something nice. I've added my location; there's a really nice dress store over here. So, just let me know!

  2. Isolt had signed in her head a complete mess after the events of the castle. Still she wanted to olay the game and she had popped into the world by the water outside of the capitol city or rather not to far away. She didnt want to be in the forest that was for sure she still felt horrible about wverything that had happened. She shook it off once she discovered that her clothes werr basically ruined thankfully she had been wearing something black. She shrugged that off and cleaned off as much as she could relaxing for a bit in the water.

    She was startled out of her relaxong by a message from Ash. It was the other female that had been at the castle and she wanted to go shopping. Isolt hadnt forgotten about the king. She hoped out of the water and hurried into Stokbon. She was heading straight for the location totally forgetting to send Ash a message.

    She appeared by the shops after skipping half way down the street. Her nerves really werr gettiing the best of her. On top of thay she had helped the woman and her son get all settled in and she had promised shed play with the little one at somepoint today. She spotted Ash in the crowd mostly because wrll you couldnt mistake cleaned up worm goo.

    She walked up to her. "Hiya Ash, im totally up for some shopping!" She looked excited. "Are you nervous?".

  3. Ash was busy looking around the wrong end of the street for the Felis girl, so startled as a familiar voice emerged from behind her. She hadn't expected Isolt to get here so quickly. She put up a smile for the girl. "Oh, hi Isolt! Sorry, you surprised me. It's great! So I just passed this clothes store up there and-"

    She giggled a bit at Isolt's second question. Still nervously, because Isolt was absolutely right about her being nervous. "Oh, kinda. I felt a bit weird messaging you out of the blue like this. I hope you weren't in the middle of anything important. And um, you know, we're gonna be meeting the king! I don't know what to do if I met the king. I just thought we should get something nice, look presentable?"

    Ash was probably babbling at this point. She made herself stop and took a deep breath. "Anyway! Yeah, there's the dress shop!"

    She pointed towards it and began walking towards it, setting her pace to match Isolt's. "I thought it'd be fun to see what kind of clothes they have here. And it's always better to go clothes shopping with someone else, right? Do you have any idea what you want yet?"

    @Isolt Veera

  4. Isolt hadn't meant to startle Ash or anything when she came up to her. Though she figured she moved quickly when she wanted too and she was already making her way into the area because in a few hours she had a play date. "Didn't mean to startle and a dress store..." She looked in the direction Ash had been looking. She really wanted to go see what new dress she could find before they went and met the king. Cause these clothes were not something they should go in nope. Maybe she'd need to go find like a tailoring type skill next.

    She giggled right along with Ash. "Well to be honest i was just lounging in the little stream not too far out of town. one of the little kids we helped get out of that mess wants to play with me at some point today. he took a shine to the tail and ears i think." The felis laughed a little bit. "But yea we should look presentable." She took a breath after Ash. They were right by the dress shop and they began walking to it. "I think something that makes me look more noble i guess. though i can pretty much go with anything." That was all she could say about what she had for ideas. She wasn't really sure if there was going to be something like that but she would find something. After all they had to find something to look nice in right?

    "what about you?" She questioned ash as well looking at the door of the shop once they finally got there. She went to pull it open for Ash and herself to enter eyes going wide at all the color.

  5. "Aww, sounds like a good kid." The mental image of Isolt and a little child playing together was almost too adorable to handle. "Looking noble is good," she said to Isolt's comment. "I want to make a good impression so maybe I'll go with something noble as well."

    She sadly gave a little glance down to her rather empty wallet. "But first of all I want to make sure it's something I can afford. I- whoa."

    Isolt had pulled open the door, and wow. If Ash had thought the display mannequins were fancy when she was just walking by, the inside of the store was a whole new playing field. It was shelves upon shelves full of shirts and coats and accessories as far as she could see, even more mannequins around the sides of the shop modeling jackets and shoes and gowns, swaths of fabric of all kinds and patterns hanging on the walls, all inside the tastefully decorated store.

    An attendant snapped to attention as the two walked through the doors. The middle-aged woman, dressed in a sharp waistcoat and her hair in a perfect bun, walked over to the two with a genial smile on her face. "Welcome to the Vestiarium. What can I do for you two ladies today?"

    @Isolt Veera

  6. Isolt smiled because of the fact that the kid really was a good kid and she was happy that she'd been the one getting injured when the whole thing happened then the little one. She gave a nod to be able to afford it. Isolt moved so she was tall enough to whisper into Ash's ear. "I can probably spot you if you don't have enough." She had some money and hopefully they both could afford this place. It was amazing inside.

    The girl turned her attention to the woman who came up to them. she smiled at the lady all cute like. "Well we'd like to do some shopping. We have and important event to attend and we don't think what we have on right now is going to be adequate enough." She looked over at Ash and thought of her own funds. "Nothing extremely fancy perhaps something elegant and simple." that was all she could put into what she was thinking. She looked over at Ash if she wanted to add something for the woman to help them out with.

    @Ashiore Evretto

  7. Ash was touched that Isolt offered to help her out if it turned out that Ash couldn't afford it. But before she got a chance to tell Isolt how grateful she was, and that she would definitely pay the other girl back if it came to that, the attendant walked over to them. Ash listened as Isolt described the kind of clothes she was looking for. Simple and elegant sounded good. She had seen fashion shows before, and some of the outfits displayed there were more art piece than clothing.

    She nodded her agreement. "Oh, and if you could show us what's, you know, currently fashionable in the city right now, that would be great too!"

    "Certainly. If you will follow me, I can show you some of the more popular pieces this season."

    And so they set off deeper into the store. Huh. Actually, now that Ash was paying close attention to some of these pieces, it looked like they might be able to be used as light armor for players. That was interesting.

    But, well, Ash had her own set waiting for her, so that wasn't what she was looking for. And anyway, if they also doubled as armor, they were probably going to be more expensive than normal clothes. So Ash moved past them and continued following the woman, who eventually led them to an aisle filled with all types of clothing.

    "Ooh. See anything you like, Isolt?"

    @Isolt Veera

  8. Isolt smiled when Ash spoke up and the woman started to lead them deeper into the store past so many differen things that Isolt almost didn't follow the woman at certain points. Like a true cat anyhing shiny and she was totally all eyes on it. She was good though and would after a little bit snap back to where they were going so she wouldn't run into anything and she would get there when Ash did and all of that. She looked around at the aisle they were in right now and went to looking at the clothes not even sure what she was going to want to wear.

    An outfit caught her eye but she wasn't sure it would work for this type of thing but she pulled it out showing Ash as she did so. For the moment she was okay. For the moment she just needed to look around for things. Not really sure what it was she was looking for. Yet another caught her eye as well. She pulled that out. might as well to try on. who knew really.

    "you seeing anything Ash?" She questioned her as she went looking for more.

  9. Ash marveled at the choices available. Now that they were left to basically go wild in the aisles, she headed over to a row of dresses hanging on a rack that looked pretty. She started rubbing some of the fabric in between her fingers, trying to see if the cloth felt comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

    Ooh, they really did. Some of this was almost excessively soft. Hmm, that would only make the decision harder.

    She picked out a red dress that looked simple, but it was miles better than what she was currently wearing. And there was another white one that looked pretty good too... Well, it didn't look too much like a wedding dress, so that was probably the best she could hope for in a white dress.

    Well, she picked both of them up, and then looked around for Isolt. Ah, there she was! Looked like Isolt also had some clothes of her own.

    "Oh, those are really nice! The purple one looks like it'll match your hair really well," Ash said, grinning. "I took these two, but I'm not really sure which one to wear." Ash held up the two that she was considering.

    "We have changing rooms there if you two would like to try them on," the attendant said, gesturing to an area of the shop behind her.

    @Isolt Veera

  10. "Ooh, yes!" Ashiore grinned and looked towards Isolt, ready to try on the clothes. "Sure, let's go!"

    Just as she was about to follow the attendant and Isolt into the changing room area of the shop, an alarm started ringing at the corner of her vision. [CHEM LAB 2 HRS] read the floating notification, causing Ash to grimace. Damn. She had almost forgotten about the lab. And attendance was mandatory, too, so she couldn't just blow it off to continue.

    "Uh, hey Isolt,"
    she began, dismissing the notification sadly, "I actually have to go now. Something popped up in real life and I need to get ready. Sorry. Maybe next time?"

    After making profuse apologies to the shop attendant and Isolt, Ash quickly put the dresses she was about to try on back on the rack. It'd definitely be conspicuous to just disappear randomly in the middle of one of Stokbon's busier streets so Ash made her way out of the gates to the city. Finding a quiet spot, Ash sighed as she logged out.

    Darn chemistry. Hopefully the TAs running the lab wouldn't be too strict about things.
