After spending a good time beating up the infantry, she looked back at Mizuki. Oh damn she was having trouble! Not only was she hurt, but she wasn't able to hit them too. Blake's own situation was also not the best, as the soldiers managed to get some good shots on her before being taken out. But helping a friend out was way more important than her self-being. Well, they were not friends. More like war companions, but companions was too long... Pals! Yeah, they were war pals. Perfect. She stepped on a soldier's head, using it as a platform to jump from the tower towards the wall, a arrow grazing her cheek as she was airbourne. Ow.

She landed on the wall, before running towards Mizuki, who was currently cornered by a pack of wolf people. She needed to get them off of her, but how? She probably wouldn't be able to punch through them, and that made her worry. But then, she noticed the ballista they were using before. That could be useful. After some struggle, she managed to reload it, before aiming towards a group of wolves. Shooting it, the big arrow pierced through many of them, some dying right there, others being knocked off the wall. But she didn't quite manage to get all of them. A pack of three headed towards her direction.

She froze for a bit, looking at the wolves with panic. Her best shot at knocking them out was gone, and she was weaker than them by all means. But she could not falter. Her pal's life was on the stake here goddamit! She charged towards the wolves, and while she managed to knock one off, the other two pinned her to the ground, her eyes open and wide with fear by now. "Crap, crap, craaaaap...."

    Vajrayana

“Thunderous roar of Rigveda! Barbaric purger bathed in blue, cleave right from wrong!”
Among wild crackling and howling winds, the giant orb over her head returned to it’s former glory as more mana was sent into the ring of wind around Vajrayana that limited any inaccuracy in her casting. While she continued chanting words of power that strengthened the orb even further, her voice seemed to duplicate due to dual casting. While her left arm remained raised and kept the storm orb in check, Indra lowered her right arm and tightened her hand into a fist. Unlike the aeromancy lightning of the storm orb, which was mostly white, the energy gathered in her hand had a deep blue color.

    [CHANT]

“I cast and release hymmnos purger and pulverize life!”

The deep blue mana suddenly metamorphosed into crackling energy in response to her words.

“I chant the words of purging and halt connection of mana particles to zero!”

Mana crystallized around the crackling energy forming a triangle over it.

“Heed my words, the ones that shall execute compulsive termination and drive you out!”

Everything would work out. She had half of her chant ready, so it shouldn’t take long too long to complete her spell. Except that as words flowed out of her mouth, Indra felt a powerful sting of pain on her chest. She was one mage against many on the Falderen side, and energy was an issue. Her chanting slowly corrupted as her legs became shaky and the orb expanded and contracted as it neared collapse in tandem with her consciousness. Yet, before she planted her face on the ground, Indra noticed the blonde haired tank before her, @Corvella, along with @Quinn 's words and reassuring gaze. Last, a powerful and familiar wave of muse magic washed over her body, thanks to @Cain. It had been a while since honeyhome...They were counting on her. She couldn’t just lose consciousness now.

“Drive away my enemy! Now awake, awake, awake along with soul’s ark!”

“Now fall asleep, release, purge! Be enraptured by lightning and have your final rest!”

    skill
    Xiuhcoatl

Both spells mixed together and shot up towards the sky and above the clouds generating a flash and a loud thunder. For a moment, it seemed she failed, but then, powerful ligthning strikes with uncanny accuracy hit the enemy troops, turning the ones hit by the arcane bolts into ash instantly.

Mizuki was fighting to the best of her ability but she was losing more blood than she was drawing from the wolves, and by this point she wasn't going to have it easy withdrawing either, because the moment she'd try to pull away from the fight the enemy would have an opening to capitalize on, unless she found a way to distract them for a moment...

That opportunity came when a siege arrow struck the wolves, removing a good portion of them from the fight with a combination of blunt trauma and being launched off of the wall. As the wolves were temporarily distracted Mizuki glanced behind her, seeing that the foxlike Felis she had been working with before had decided to begin using the mounted ballista in melee combat. Not the worst of ideas, but certainly a risky move, especially since even with the two of them reloading had taken a bit, so Mizuki hoped that @Blake Elgis wasn't planning on sticking with the ballista after the first shot.

Unfortunately Mizuki had been too optimistic with how much time she had left before the wolves regained their bearing. She felt deadly claws digging into her side, making her wince and gasp even as the wolves dashed past her towards the other Felis. It looked like they wanted to get rid of the one using the ballista first, and had only taken long enough to incapacitate Mizuki so she wouldn't be able to get in the way... which was a miscalculation.

It felt like fire was flowing through Mizuki's veins, not consuming her but instead filling her with a rage she had felt before, but never this strongly. It looked like her berserker blood had begun to boil, and she couldn't hold it back. With the wolves focused on Blake Mizuki shot forward on all fours, her heterochromatic eyes glowing like two moons, one ice and one gold, a blue trail following her as even before the wolves could finish off the trapped Blake she was already on top of them. She grabbed their heads, fingers applying enough pressure to make their skulls creak and have her iron claws dig into their scalps. She lifted both heads, then smashed them together with such strength that she broke both skulls, after which she dropped the unconscious warriors to the ground, showing Blake a ferocious expression before she returned to the fight.

@Magdalyn's words put a slight grin on the pink-haired woman's face as if a temporary escape from battle. Then, the searing pain that wreaked havoc on her body returned. Her brain and heart pulsed painfully in sync to the rhythm of war. Thus concentration led to a lack of words. A smile during these times would hold more meaning than words, hopefully. Rather than flee - as suggested by @Kyupin Felnya only moments after Mags' appearance - Comet re-positioned and continued fighting with over-confidence and lack of common sense to do as said by someone who saw the larger picture. Still, an appreciative nod would be sent the stranger's way as a form of thanks.

The wolves shouldn't have been a surprise. Things would be taken to the extreme as proven by the invading forces. A slack jaw and quirked brows made themselves present anyhow, twisting onto Comet's pretty face. Her plans were thought out within seconds yet were interrupted by a hesitance that halted her movement. Magdalyn had been lost by the pink-haired woman who twisted her body to catch sight of the other. At first envy and greed met her thoughts first but had been staved off by another feeling. One Comet couldn't quite grasp at the moment nor had the time to. She breathed heavily through quivering lips and - in all but a few moments of time - returned to battle to empty her heavy mind. Dark rings settled underneath shimmering eyes, hollow cheeks sucked in, grime covering every inch of blue-white skin lacking pigment and void of vibrant life. Wolves... Werewolves marked innocent flesh with their talons of rage and fear. The latter they failed to inflict upon Comet who let out growls of her own - growls that could rival the half-human half-monsters of the fictional world. The bow became part of her restless soul, but instead of hurting the owner it directly attacked the beasts that caused the pain.

Each of the wolf people knew how to deal with a terrifying man, larger than most of the soldiers around here, pack tactics stating that bigger prey needed a group. Of course, there always was that one beast with the guts to take down a powerful opponent in a solo run. Yet, at least in this moment, the stressed Felis grew silent, his combative instincts beginning to rear its ugly face. Nobody should dare try and bring down this wall, not as long as Alonso was there to defend it. Grabbing one of the charging werewolves by the head, the Marquees stared him down, "Don't you growl at me. Sit the fuck DOWN, mutt." Slamming the wolf person into the wall, a sickening crack of the skull was heard before the canine was shunted towards its death below.

Holding out both arms, the bearish Felis knocked away more of his attackers with a double lariat, his character data continuing to act as though he were in a fighting game. In a sense, Terrasphere had the physics for that, including near realistic hit boxes. No reason to expect anything less considering how far VR games have come. Much better than looking dumb with a hefty visor like back in the day. Granted, nowadays was not much better, but at least his real world body was comfortable lying down. Sighing, Alonso stood to his full height to recuperate a bit. Everyone was starting to come around somewhat. A good sign, but not good enough.

Even worse were the shrieks of a younger voice crying out in pain. Both ears straightened upwards, the leonine man's eyes widening as his head shifted towards the source.

It was a young girl. Why was a young girl in the middle of a battlefield, wearing a magical girl outfit no less! Innocent as she were, Alonso did not take kind to her presence there, more so for her safety. Though the bright light she emitted blasted away the wolf shifters, it was not going to be enough. Crawling was not going to do much either, with another canine on the way for an easy target. NOPE. That was not happening on Alonso's watch. Crouching down, he charged right for the bastard who dared to target a little girl. If this situation was different this would have made a great cinematic moment.

Too bad the man never went into the film industry.

With a roar he rushed past the group of wolves dazed by the girl's mystic light, lunging with the might of his built legs and tackling the werewolf into the ground, a short distance away from @Magi Heart. Knocking his target's head around with a flurry of fists, he stood up, beginning to drag the wolf person back towards the dazed group. These fuckers needed to pay for assaulting a child when Alonso was nearby. The Lion of Astorea was not merciful to people who went after children. Using his powerful build, the Felis began to swing his grappled werewolf into the other like a club, ending it by tossing his catch with a sigh, "Kid, why the hell are you in this mess? It's too dangerous for you!"

Well, great. She haven't finished with the Falderen footsoldiers, wolf-looking soldiers climbed the wall easily and attacked from both sides. Not only the looks, they got the speed and ferocity too. They were surrounded in just a split second, attacks raining down on them from all directions.

"They're very agile." Corvella's strikes missed the approaching wolves as they dodged the swings easily. She need to defend a bit longer for @Indra to unleash her spell. Just as she was ready to drop the defense, a particular green spike joined the formation and created illusory wall to protect them. Feeling the same type of Phantasmia energy, Corvella joined her spell to amplify @Quinn, although by not much but it still helps. As a shining spell was shot into the sky, Corvella stopped and looked as the sky opened wide.

Then everything was white. The group of wolf troops that stood right in front of her turned instantly to ash with a gigantic, precise bolt of lightning. The roaring sound of thunder and blowing wind came shortly after, sending the Falderen army into a state of shock. The blonde shielder had never witnessed a lightning strike this close, frying everything on its path to none. The sound of thunder become their opportunity to push further into the formation of wolfmen, not giving them any room for movement. Their number has decreased significantly, but the fight is still far from over.

A blinding round of lightning reduced a swath of lupine beasts to ash, the clarity of lightning matched only by Indra's voice, ringing like the cry of a goddess of lightning. This was the Grand Casting that he had always enjoyed in the past. The steady crescendo that brought forth a brilliant radiance. Half way, no, they were more than half way through the elite werewolf squad now. Faith had been restored with that momentous blow, and Cain's voice boomed outwards to fill the void of sound left by the massive levin bolts.

Fairy light and heavenly constellations burst to life around Indra, an artificial Avalon created by the sweet thrumming of his flagpole as fatigue was sapped away, exhaustion nulled in the beauty of the moment. People were crumbling, yes, drowning in blood and guts, but beyond that, there was the resplendence of those who rose to the occasion, those that fought bravely despite the night terrors that threatened to consume them.

Perhaps it was only in conflict that diamonds could truly sparkle, scattering their prismatic dust. Perhaps it was only in war that true legends could be made.

And so, his voice rang again once more, encouraging and empowering, driving Indra further, beyond the limits that the sunlight haired girl had raced past long ago.

"Press this advantage, Indraneel, Bearer of Heaven's Judgment! Give us another!"

Keeping up with her group as quick as possible, Blithe headed towards one of the groups of wolves, following some of the players as she hoped from one foot to the next in the background, helping where she needed to help and letting out a small whoop of joy every now and then. Although the battle was tense, she felt it was her job to keep everyone cheery, so she did so. Twirling to the side out of the way of an arrow, he hopped forward, her eyes locking on a someone low of health as they fought the wolves, @Ueno Mizuki.

She seemed to be really tearing into them, and Blithe let out a loud whoop as she did so, hopping up and down on her tippy-toes cheerfully. Then, she began to dance on the spot, her voice ringing out as a war song as she did so, twirling on her feet as her arms moved with her pigtails. A warm glow would enter Ueno, soothing her wounds as it added more health to what had now. And once Blithe was done, she gave her a thumbs up, shooting, "T
    rès bon!~ You got this!"

Then, she turned to the rest of the comrades fighting, screaming above the noise of those clashing in battle for others to hear,
"We're halfway there, guys!~ Keep fighting as hard as you can, for Astorea!" No matter how hard it got, she would continue to manage a smile. It was her job as co-commander, and it was something she felt as her personal responsibility.

    Snefrid
The wolves continued their ferocious onslaught without cease. In the distance one would see even more beasts of varying types beginning to charge along with the wolves. Among them walking slowly as the rest charged past her. Was the source of these warriors. The bestial mercenary, Snefrid.

"These Astorea guys really don't know when to quit. Tsk, this is what happens when you get too big for yer britches kids...."

A giant eagle flew overhead. It was a powerful bird and this one especially was her favorite. With a smirk she leaped into it's claws as it carried her through the air to Eastwatch. She landed atop the tower and made her way inside. Meanwhile the army of bears, wolves, tigers and birds joined the wolf warriors in a attack that was easily twice as large as before.

"Time to give it up. I told ya I'd be back right?"

She said to @Quinn shortly after seeing him in the distance. A familiar face... excellent!

    "C'mon let's have a rematch!"

A arrow hit her in the shoulder. Drawing some blood. The wolf woman reached up and pulled it out with a slight grow that turned into a excited smile. She laughed again. Much like at Rig Outpost...

"Hehehehahahaha... yeah that's it. I feel it already! This is war! Kings, Queens, humans, beasts... it's all the same in war! For me... it's just too good a feeling to pass up!"

A blast of fire flew past and sheered one of her ears. Snefrid pulled one of her long chains wrapped around her arms tightly. Her fangs bared in a tight toothed wild grin. It was time for the real thing!

"Time to face the Lunatic Princess! Fuck that senile King! This is for the thrill of the hunt!"

Her eyes glowed bright red as she tilted her head back and howled with a echo over the entire battle. It drowned out all other sounds with it's fury!

    "HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!"

After Snefrid and a horde of reinforcement came in and climbed up the wall to join the remainder of the Wolf Troop, the catapults fired at the city beyond the wall. Their intensity has also mellowed out, considering that they did not want to hit their Canis mercenaries. -1000 HP from Eastwatch. Current HP: 4468/10000

'Oh shit, Snefrid!' Quinn thought to himself as she saw the wild beast woman who turned out to be a carmine? He shook the extraneous thoughts from his head and focused on the on going battle. The moment she looked toward his direction, chills ran down his spine as he assumed a battle posture.

"Uuuh, green team? @Indra @Comet @Magdalyn? We have got some old company here... I think she sniffed my gold and traced me here, but it's totally not my fault that she's here, yeah?"

He shouted to his acquaintances, hoping they were near enough to hear him and perhaps provide some kind of support? Because the wolf chick was talking to him and looking at him with with eyes that say she wants to eat him.

After he calmed himself down, Quinn came forward and used a Phantasmia spell to switch his ragged and dirty outfit into an ivory-white tuxedo whereas his bow turned into a bouquet of roses that were as red as Snefrid's eyes. With that, he approached her and bent the knee, "Yo, listen, will you marry me and leave these fine people alone?"

He figured if all it took for everyone in Eastwatch to live is his freedom, then so be it... Quinn held the line... of roses.

Mizuki could feel the healing magic flow over her, doing quite a good job of binding her wounds and limiting the amount of blood that poured from her wounds. However the fire was still flowing in her veins, the wolflike Felis growling as she attacked the wolfmen with a beastlike ferocity to match their own. Now that she had been pushed over the edge she was going full ham, using the iron claws that tipped her gloves to tear open hide and skin, cracking bones with the iron studs adorning the knuckles, and delivering ever harder attacks with her feet. She moved around on all fours, attacking as if she couldn't think of the possibility of slowing down.

When the leader of the wolves arrived Mizuki at first came to a halt, staring at her with narrowed eyes. Her position was very low even when you took into account her position on all fours, a reddish-blue aura surrounding her and emanating from her like some strange form of steam. When the Lunatic Princess howled Mizuki answered with a howl of her own, before suddenly charging forward at high speed. Dodging between combatants she seemed to only have one target in mind now, and she wasn't going to let it get away.

As she ran she left a trail of the reddish-blue ethereal smoke, together with an icy blue trace and a ferocious golden trace, her heterochromatic eyes glowing even more fiercely than before as her hands and feet nearly dug into the stone of the walls with the amount of force she was using to propel herself forward, moving faster and faster as she put her high Mobility master to good use.

Once she was close enough she gave Snefrid another loud growl. While Mizuki was technically a Felis from the very moment that she had entered this world she had seen herself and behaved like a wolfkin instead, and while your race might influence your behaviour a lot of it still came from your own mind. Which is why the appearance of this literal bitch caused Mizuki's already boiling blood to ignite, and she charged to try and rip out Snefrid's jugular out while attacking relentlessly. If only in Mizuki's mind but no-one else's, wolf bitch had met wolf bitch.

More and more fighting continued on, and Zelrius was getting worn quite thinned. It seemed for just a moment, the little back to back scene that he had with Alric had actually paid off; the two had gone back and forth, a whirlwind of blades spinning around and flying here and there. And slowly he inched away, eventually coming upon @Alonso Thorlion, immeadiately assisting the giant cat-fatherly figure with his own group of wolves, but to be honest, for the most part, it looked like he had it handled.

Though things seemed to pull back for a bit, and Zelrius maybe thought the fighting was done. No way, it seemed, as a howl cracked through, reminding Zelrius of Ueno's own when he had fought alongside that woman long ago. Wait. That's because that was hers? He scanned the area, only to see that very same person mid howl herself and then charge forward. He grinned, watching the former ally of his flurry forth as she had against the Goblins and slam into the other She-Wolf. He turned and gave @Alonso Thorlion a nod before quickly dashing off toward Ueno and Snefrid.

Within a single moment he was in the immeadiate area of both of the Wolf woman, but the golden haired man wouldn't dare get involved; He'd allow Mizuki to have this one to herself, simply using his twinblades to keep any Wolfmen who'd dare intervene out of the way.

This little nooblet was in too deep and trying to keep up above in her head instead of going under. In all seriousness, it was crystal clear that she dove too fast into this massive event. Even Nemean had to, albeit stubbornly, admit this to herself. When learning about the looming attack on the newly liberated city she knew she had to do something. While she was far too new to know about the deep, dark history lingering between these two nations, Nemean's morals did not with those of the conquering nation.

Unfortunately, her knowledge wasn't the only thing lacking. Skills learned through experience and time had yet to be accessed. The basics had been grasped but even then she didn't have a tight grip on the masteries she had chosen. For most of the event she had spent desperately trying to silence the echoing noises from her ears.

But her enhanced Felis ears heard it all; metal clanging, painful grunts, wounded falling. Before she knew it she found herself running in time to the speeding heartbeats, dashing to the vanguard where vicious wolves had gathered. Instincts caused her hair to raise as she examined the battlefield.

A man masquerading as Romeo temporarily drew her attention, causing her eyes to roll. Otherwise, her limbs felt paralyzed. She had made herself to be a defender but what could she do? The wind rustling her hair caused her ears to twitch. Maybe.

With the ability to control air at her side, she rushed by the melodramatic man (yet somehow managed to make him look better by causing his hair and clothes to sway romantically in the wind) and tried to stay close to the players further up front. With her trash level shield raised, Nemean tried to position herself between their DPS players. Although her wind might not be strong enough to stop an oncoming foe it did had enough oomph to knock debris from the ground into any attackers eyes who had their sights set on her allies.

Magi flipped onto her back as a wolf man leaped at her!

Then a large figure jumped in front of her and fought the beastman... actually it was another beastman! Well, Felis person, but still! Magi sighed relief at the rescue from the close call. He was huge! Like gee whiz, super big! The magical girl's stomach hurt and burned from the claw marks. She held in her cries as the large man (@Alonso Thorlion) carried her to a place of semi safety and ask why she was somewhere so dangerous.

Why? Because she had too. It was beyond her own understanding really. Although she knew the time of logging out forever was ever closer. Magi looked up at him with eyes that yearned for the chaos to end. Yet somewhere within her was a conviction to find out how to stop it. Maybe she should report this game or something? That was a idea she never really considered.

"I... I have to protect you all... I'm a ma..."

She shook her head. It did not matter if she was a magical girl or not. Wendy needed to help people not die. She would have continued to talk to the large warrior who had a calming gentleness that Magi could not help but feel. It was even sadder that such a person would have to fight like he is doing!

    "Hoooooooooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwllllllllllllllllll!"

Wowzers what was that!? Magi did not have to look for long when she saw a green haired man and two wolf girls (@Ueno Mizuki) in the process of tearing each other a part.... blood and bodies flying everywhere. It was just... too much!

"Why can't this just stop! Where is this fun!?"

The girl saw the green haired man doing some kind of magic. It was phantasmia... wait is he going to draw her attention? Looking at the two wolflings fight. It was pretty obvious which one the enemy was and...

"Magical Pink Heart Power! We can't give up!"
