Something pushed against his motion. Bored at the back of his skull and pushed doubt inside. Go away. Go away. Go away, they say- the voices that he imagined for the force pushing on him. Pushing as hard as his eye pushed on his innards.
Haru stops cold in shock before looking down. Ah... what was happening to him? The eye in his chest pounded against his ribcage, trying to squirm and grow. What did it want now? He had never felt this thing ever desire anything before, so this situation was new. One thing was clear, though- it wanted out.
He felt sorry for it, stuck in his chest like that. If there was only one thing that Haru cared about anymore, it was freedom. It wanted out, so he would let it out. He liked the little guy, anyway, deep down.
So he plunges his fingers into his chest and pulls the 'eyelids' open. The thing was already staring straight up at him when it was freed.
"Yo! Did you want to see how pretty the cavern is, too? That's cool. Let's get walking again, ok?" He placates the monster in his chest. He had lagged behind a little bit letting this thing free, but he felt good for doing it. Now it's heartbeat went in tandem with his own instead of pounding erratically. They were whole.
And so the four continued on like that. Before long four became three, and three became two. The cavern grew awfully silent, and as his fear grew, so too did his appreciation of this place. It was beautiful. And yet, knowing full well how much he enjoyed exploring new places, the voice told his very being to leave.
But Haru wouldn't give into pressure. No matter how much this wall in front of him pushed at him he would not turn his back. Haru would walk forward forever, even if he had lost his will to do so. Even if he had lost the mind to do so. As long as his body existed, he would go... because that was the cool thing to do.
Of course, his body had to give out sometime. Ripping one's chest open has this side-effect called 'blood loss' that he hadn't really thought of when he had started. Perhaps he had been influenced-ever since he had felt the eye pounding in his chest-to act illogically? Fascinating.
Haru impacts the ground face-first and groans. After his legs gave out, he began to crawl with his arms. After those stopped, he kept going with his hands. After that he went a few centimeters further with his teeth. And then...
He could feel it. Were he to try and go any direction but forward, his body would allow him to. But he could not move forward anymore. He was literally unable to move a single inch further forward by his own will.
And he chuckles. What, was that supposed to stop him? After all, the cavern had missed two vital problems.
There were two Witch Ops members in the same cave at the same time, and a Witch Ops member never left another behind. Turning his head, Haru grins cheekily over to Iván. "Ha, ha ha... Hey, Bound Prince, do you think you could Guide me a bit further? I'm very curious about what's past the finish line."
The wizard of white shamelessly drops himself on the wizard of green.
