Surprised by the hand that had caught her, she let out a sigh of relief while managing to stabilize her lack of balance. Her thanks were murmured a bit softer than usual, a tint of pink due to the embarrassment that her own clumsiness had been so quickly seen. "I really am a klutz. I'm lucky this time there was someone to save me from a face full of dirt!" Giggling a bit, she stretched after regaining her posture, legs slightly shaking but fairly easy to hold her up. Perhaps this was thanks to working on her rogue skills? "I once saw in a manga...these people kept bringing things to try to lure a kappa out, and even though they kept saying it was cucumbers they liked, for some reason they brought what they liked instead. Everything from sweet red beans to squash." The memory left her giggles a bit more constant, making her struggle to regain some composure yet again- but she was happy, and it was eminent on her face. This was really quite fun! "The sun's already setting? It's hard to believe I'll be watching it with someone. I rarely actually go out, you see...And I'm more of a nocturnal person. It'd be nice to see the sunset offline more often, when the weather's nice. Maybe try a sunrise too." Smiling, she stared at the horizon as she'd been offered to, grabbing at his hand again with a grin. "I might not log off right away myself. But how would we meet up? It'd be bad if we missed each other on timing."
A kappa being drawn out by giving out what they liked? That seemed strange but he believed her after she told him about it. He chuckled a bit when she said she was a bit of a klutz which made him smile more as she giggled. "Drawing out a Kappa with things you like sounds fun. I like pumpkin pie which is technically squash so I wonder if that would work?" He said as he noticed her sit down next to him in the grass. "I tend to stay indoors a lot myself but I learned that if i want to make any friends I ought to get outdoors more often. Though a virtual experience is one way to do both of those things I bet." Rawlin said with a smile as he held her hand into his again. He felt happy as they watched the sunset together. It was endearing really to be comfortable with each-other as he held onto her hand watching the sunset upon the lake. "Yeah I hope to see you again soon, I had a lot of fun today." He tapped a few buttons as he sent a friend request to her before speaking again. "Feel free to contact me online we can arrange another date....I mean hang out sometime." Rawlin said nervously even though he was still holding her hand.
"Pumpkin pie is awesome! Possibly one of my favorite kinds of pie, tied with cherry." Giggling a bit, she couldn't help but wonder what it would be like, trying to get a kappa out of the river or lake with pie. "But if I did something like that with food I liked, I might just end up eating it while I waited..." Smiling, she nodded when he mentioned the use of virtual reality to experience things. "Actually, it's part of why I decided to play. See, I'm a writer...But to write about things, experience is important if you want to make it believable, you know? Since there are some things I can't experience on my own, I figured playing a game like this would help. And it's already done quite a bit, and brought me friends in the process!" As if on cue, she soon noticed she the friend request sent her way, which she quickly agreed to with a swift finger. Looking up at him a bit more carefully, she was soon finding it hard to keep her gaze, staring at her feet as his words came out. It had to be a Freudian slip, didn't it? No, wait, that meant that's what he meant, didn't it? Her head scrambled a bit trying to catch up. The meaning of his words tugged at her, but she opted to avoid mentioning it, fearful she was just overthinking and that it was better not to possibly embarrass him. "Yeah! Let's play again real soon. It'll be fun!"
