  1. Rig finally made it to Dunnstads. The air was breezy with a hint of salt. That part worried him since it meant the ocean was nearby. There was one thing that the big man hated and feared above all else and that was big water. He just couldn't quite get over that fear. Normally he would try to avoid the coast as much as he could but in this instance it couldnt be helped. He wanted...no...needed a good warhammer if he was going to be any good in this game. A hammer that could break stone and backs. Could build trust as much as destroying foes. And the best place he heard to get a good weapon was here, at Dunnstads.

He made his way to the first sight of civilization and entered the quaint village. He didnt even know its name or where to learn of the name. There were NPC's working here and there. Their shoes hitting cobbled stone as they bustled from shop to shop. He heard many that were trying hard to sell their wares by shouting loudly. These places Rig knew to avoid. He kept walking without delay and just took in the small village with admiring thoughts. It wasn't much but it often reminded his RL self about some villages back down under. He felt a small pang of homesickness and shook it off as he reminded himself of the fantastic sights to see here and now. He suddenly spotted a sign with crossed swords and thanked his luck.

He ducked as he made his way through the creaky door that jingeled with a bell. A skinny man with a thin mustache looked up from a book and smiled a little TOO friendly.

"Welcome, welcome." He said with a slight bow, "How may be of service to you my large friend?"

Rig glanced around and was loving what he was seeing. There were weapons of all kinds and qualities hanging around. He knew he must not have much to begin with so he wanted to start with something maybe a little basic as far as hammers go...but not cheap by any means. He grabbed one that he figured must be a fair price and brought it to a counter.

"How much will this run me?" He asked the smiling man.

"Hmmm," The man glanced at the hammer, "now this one is not much to look at but of course serves it's purpose. I wouldn't say less than 50 gold pieces."

Rig couldn't believe his luck! That didn't sound like much at all. He quickly opened up his palm menu to pull out some coins and...noticed his money qauntity.

Z-zero?! He thought to himself. The game started me at zero?! That was a bold move. Most games started him with at least some kind of beginning currency. The more he thought about it, however, he realized it made more sense this way. This was more than just a game. It was a virtual world. If he didnt work, he didnt get coin.

"Um... it might not be best for me. I will come back another time." He said quickly

The shopkeeper looked almost offended and just shrugged as the smile melted away, "Suit yourself."

Rig ducked through the doorway and massaged the back of his neck in embarrassment. What was he going to do for a job? He clanced around and decided to move towards the tavern. There HAS to be something there.
