Hey good to see you, and glad you joined the game! You may not know who I am, and I have no real idea who you are. Just saw you wandering around the Spawn area a bit confused, and I thought, I will give that guy a message, because I know what that's like. I'd have approached you in person, but between being Busy and extremely socially awkward, messaging was a better alternative.

So let me introduce myself, I am Zelrius, Slayer of Snefrid, and hopefully an actually decent player one day. If you have any questions or anything about the game, please feel free to hit me back and ask away.

Thank you for contacting me and respecting my privacy enough to ask first instead of approaching off the bat. I was actually looking for someone willing to party up and and join forces with. You look pretty capable from your gear set and familiar following you around. Ive got an interesting idea for a build in mind that you might be interested in hearing. If I was able to get the ball rolling on said build, then I think you might like the benefits.

Yea no problem, though i wish I could take credit for it being respecting your privacy, and most just me not wanting to be weird. I am not generally good with first impression.

By all means share your build. What do you have in mind? I saw you had no weapons, do you plan on changing that or going the rought of smash and bunch Hulk style? You certainly have the height to be a Hulk.

It's a build I theory crafted around maximum efficiency without items and if it pans out how I plan, make one able to take on bosses in both size and sheer physical power. For the moment I will just dump points in wellness and be a decent tank for someone while I stockpile mastery points. Speaking of grinding, in a few hours we can go mob farming if your interested? In the meantime we can get up to speed while I tidy up my business in town.

I am interested in what Masteries you plan to go, but I like the idea of a full tank to start. It'll help you survive fights long enough to do whatever it is you need to do to grind the other points for damn sure.

Sure, Just let me know when and where to meet, and I can be there relatively soon. As of now I am in the forests of the Adecus to the north grinding, but I can be back at Brisshal in a hurry.

The build in end phase would be maxed out wellness and mobility, then body combat with a heroic feat, bestial ancestry with a heroic feat, and deitic champion for Lheo the god of strength, war and honor, of course with a heroic feat in that as well. The feat for bestial would allow me to take the form of a short faced bear which would already be around three thousand five hundred pounds and not all that much smaller than a European elephant, and make the form even larger, ursidae in bestial already increases strength and constitution, then you stack the deitic champion AND the heroic feat on deitic and bestial, once again, stacked on TOP of body combat and whatever heroic feat it has. Then you round out the defense with maxing out wellness, mobility, guard and spell-bane. I can head out to the forests of Adecus after I tidy things up.

That's pretty well thought out. I intend to go Deitic Champion as well, but I believe you have to get Selected by the church or the god or some shit. So that will be a bridge I will cross when I get there. Right now I am focused on Luck and Sea Faring personally.

Though that build sounds dope, and scary as fuck. I hope to see it on the Battlefield someday, and I pray that it will always be as an Ally should you ever get to that point. It sounds like you are going to be a hard hitter who is one tought motherfucker to kill.

Yea, No rush, I will meet you at the Capital city of Dormont then, we can meet up and supply, then take it from there.

Somehow I think a man of my height and physique might make a good impression on the church of Lheo. Especially if they want to see what effect divine strength has on bear muscle, which has some of the highest strength to mass ratio in the animal kingdom. From hearing your build I cant help but wonder if your trying to make a pirate build? Because honestly I am too ready to go steal treasure from a bunch of poor schmucks on a boat.

That's a really fair point. Well best of luck, Lheo might be accepting, especially if you can really offer anything you say you can, which I fully believe. Perhaps a Champion among Champions, or even a Hero. Now that'd be interesting to see.

Its funny that you say that; Yes, Piracy is something I am interested in. And if you'd like to join me whenever it is I get to getting a real Boat, that'd be super cool. I will for sure keep you updated on that.

So, What Mastery you grinding first, and is there any gear that you're aiming for?

Probably gonna grind out wellness to proficient, then focus on getting berserk to adept and grabbing bestial ancestry. For now I am on the market for some heavy armor so I can meat shield while I figure out my masteries. By the way, I heard you mention you were going deitic champion, might I ask for what god and what domains does that god reign over? Also can you give me some advice for heavy armor that would be in the price range of three hundred gold?

Thats one way to do it. As I said earlier, I think its a solid plan. A Mistake I made was going full damage off the start, which made solo grinding Masteries in the Wilds nearly impossible at any meaningful rate. Eventually I got there though.

More than likely Iedi. Health and Luck are what I am not only good at, but what I feel like I am going to need most. Or it might be Endra, for Fortune as opposed to luck. That and she reigns over Travel as well, which might fall under the boat thing. The answer is, between those two, not entirely sure.

Yea, Head down to the Marketplace and see if there's anything in the 'Fine' Vendors that you like. Buy it up.

At any rate you don't have to worry about not having tank anymore. Fortune I'm pretty sure is just another name for luck, so if you are going both seafaring and luck you should go with Endra because you have double synergies with her just like I have with Lheo. I think I will indeed go down to the Marketplace vendors and have a look at armor, while I do that maybe you can send me info on what you know about the grinding spot we are gonna be using? Like spawns drops etc...

Maybe you're right, that might be a healuva alot better. I like the way you think Mr Arctodus. I will certainly do that, Endra it is indeed. Okay, let me know what you find down there, I am in the market for some decent armors too, I will also make sure to check the places up here in Dormont as well. Never know what you can find.

Yea, so, the game is hyper realistic. You're not going to find spawn spots like in other MMOs, the creatures have just breeded through a simulated thousands and thousands of years, and now they exist and roam about pretty freely, and are extremely abundant, its kinda crazy actually. As for drops, again realism, other than the bits of gold the system rewards you for common kills, there no drops outside of what you can glean from the Body.

No problems Zelrius, I like the depth of this free roam mob system, although I can see some potential issues with lower level characters coming up on mobs too strong for them. Also no drops aside from organic materials then? I can already tell that crafting is gonna be a coveted skill. Also from what I've gathered from talking to players, your reputation precedes you. Your dangerous, before you didn't even give any inclination that you were in the upper echelons of players. I like your style, I think we will get along just fine.

Have no fear, should any mobs give you trouble when we do our grinding together in the Adecus Forests, I should be able to take care of them pretty well. We might end up incapactitating Monsters to start, and then letting you just pound them into the dirt with your fists, since you're going Body combat.

Or even better, just pull the ol Oblivion strat and let a mudcrab or something beat the shit out of you to gain Wellness and maybe even Guard if that is something you're interested in.

I disagree, I know many a player who are far better than I, I only started playing a little bit ago. Players like Mizuki or Roland are far better at all of this than me, probably have illustrious skills for all I know. But I agree, so far I am quite liking the way you think.
