It was nice and quiet here in Brisshal. Lots of things to practice on. Lots of things to do, people to help, things to practice on, quests to do, things to practice on, skills to learn, things to practice on. By now, she'd become familiar enough with this game to have fashioned herself something to work with. Maybe it was made of wood, roughly hewn from a broomstick. But honestly, she was kinda proud of the blade she'd made. The idea was to just replicate a sword she used in other games. For some reason, those Katana in the other games were never quite long enough for her tastes, while the things they called Tachi were like greatswords. She didn't want either of those, so she just made a nice middle ground. Something she would primarily use one-handed, but could easily switch to a two-handed stance if the situation called for it. The result, so far, was a wooden katana about three feet long, and a sheathe to match, that hung at her left side, blade-down. So there she was, walking the forest with nothing but her blade and her wits. The sun was about to go down, but she honestly couldn't tell with the looming grey overcast blocking out the light and rendering the day a dull undercurrent of light. A northwesterly wind was blowing, which made for a wind like a knife on the forest path, sending dead leaves and snow up in flurries around her. And yet... it was peaceful. She enjoyed this, rather than finding the next person to fight, the next monster to kill. As one particular gust died off, she drew her sword, slowly. Not out of caution or malice, but to catch a leaf on the tip of it, moving up the trail with the wind and chasing it down, moving in small steps and circling, a small smile on her face as she played her game. Then the wind shifted again, and the leaf was kicked up to head-level as she lowered her blade, shifting her feet and closing her eyes, coming to a loop overseeing a small town below. Ignoring that particular fact, Eyas shifted her hands and made a vertical slash, swatting the leaf out of the air and cutting it as it slowly fell. That was fun. Bringing her blade up and shifting to a reverse grip, she turned to the small town below her, sheathing the wooden blade with a dull sound of wood on leather, scanning to see if anybody had seen her cut loose for even a brief moment. She... really hoped nobody did. She wanted that reputation of that "not a game" warrior. If anybody did see her, well. That would be detrimental to her slowly rising reputation.
LEOKNIGHT ➕ASSIST MODE 100 HP MAX HP100 EN MAX EN The sound of ones and zeroes gathered in the epicenter of a strange land. A place that was but, too, made out of codes of ones and zeroes. This place seen as a sanctity for some, whereas others it was a place to feel some form of pleasure or release from the real world. This place drenched in symbolism of life and death, a survival game that was no different from life. "Terrasphere..." At last did the materialized being speak. A soft, narrow gaze lingered a tad bit as he tried to gather himself. Placing the palm of his left, digital hand upon the sole of his right cheek; his back hunched over. The silver-eyed male, fully widening his soft hues, came to touch his face once more with his other palm. "Eh...?" Was he dreaming? That first touch had felt but all too real. So he would do once more, but with the first palm. "Oooh! It's actually real, holy crap!" He'd then pinch his face, "Pugoh!" The male exclaimed. Looking above he'd then see his health bar, along with what looked to have been an energy bar as well. There, along side his name, resided what looked to have been an option regarded as, "Assist...Mode?" He didn't really expect this game to be the real deal, but this was pretty exciting. He wasn't sure how to play at all, practically skipped the tutorial, if there even were one, and dove straight into the game. "Hooooh, that breeze feels pretty nice!" This world was definitely exciting, it practically made him want to grow to understand it even more. His desire for wanting to explore this world, to wanting to unlock its hidden mysteries, made the optimistic male grin sheepishly. But it wasn't until the sound of whisk-like swing caught his attention. "Geh! Woah, a girl! A-And she's...Actually super pretty!?" He couldn't help but have his attention drawn toward the cute female. His gaze, fixed upon her sword for a mere second, could not be taken away from the unsightly cute girl he thought to be some sort of Game Master or Guidepost. "I wasn't told this place was crawling with cute characters," he said, "Yo!" The male cried out toward as he ran toward her, "I'm guessing you're my guidepost or game moderator--turtorial thingamajig, yeah? The NPC's here are pretty life-like, wow!" The green armored male would then attempt to touch the girl's cheeks, wanting to pinch them and test to see how "life-like" the non-playable character was. Had she allowed him he would't let go for quite sometime, but that all depended upon the girl's reaction toward the newcomer: Leoknight. TAG: @Eyas Amari NOTES: Boop.
Somebody had seen her. And they were rapidly approaching. She could see this guy was green, it wasn't exactly hard to tell. He was both literally and physically green, for added bonus points. Seeing him rush at her had her hand on the wooden sword, using it as a replacement for her current one, currently being worked on by those kind folk down at Lightning. Foot shifting back as he came in far too close, silver eyes locked onto him. He left under his arm exposed. Narrow stance. He wasn't in a fighting stance. Eyas was NOT a fan of physical touch. Moreover, she wasn't a fan by people she didn't know. And this guy trying to touch her face? That brought up a lot of bad memories. Kicking off onto the back foot, the warrior drew the wooden sword, holding it diagonally across her chest. Defensive immediately, the wind kicked up into her face, kicking her hair back into a messy halo. "Back the FUCK up." She didn't care if this guy was green or not. She was more than willing to drop him with a few well-placed strokes of the sword. If he didn't back up, he'd learn the lesson damn well fast enough. Either through a killing blow or a non-lethal one, either way worked. "Now." @Leoknight
LEOKNIGHT ➕ASSIST MODE 100 HP MAX HP100 EN MAX EN "Woah there!" Leoknight exclaimed. And with a quick halt in his movement, a mere three foot his left palm happened to be. Leoknight would no longer continue his movement toward the psychotic non-playable character who, at first, seemed cute but turned out to be a bit crazy. Though it was best to assume this wasn't an NPC anymore, he assumed this was just another tutorial. "Ehhhh?! What kind of NPC is this violent and cruel!?" Leoknigth began to flail his arms, saddened by the mere fact that he would be unable to touch the non-playable character. Plus, she was also kind of crazy so had it truly been worth it? And so the green-armored male merely directed his attention past the non-playable character, amazed by the town that which hung beneath the duo. Running past the NPC, the male would stand upon the ledge in awe of the town. Rosy cheeks were colored, eyes garnered in bedazzlement toward the town of mystery and wander. Another mystery, one of certainty, that the answeres he resided were going to be there. "Hey, hey, Crazy NPC Girl," that was her name for the time being, "Are you taking me down there soon?! Wah, can we go?! Can we go?! I need to understand what's there, I feel it calling toward me! The answers gotta be there or I wouldn't have appeared here!" Sure this was a game, but it was a video game of mystery and exploration. The hyperactive male, with a childlike expression filled with dreams and desires, wanted to be taken to the town before the duo. "I'll do anything to get down there! If I have to finish whatever tutorial you've got for me, I'll do it! Though...I should warn you, I'm kinda useless and don't have anything to trade of." Finger pressed against his chin as he pondered as to what would this non-playable character even want, "Do you have some sort of quest for me or something?" Leoknight then asked. TAG: @Eyas Amari NOTES: Jeezus, she's cray-cray.
Great. He thought she was an npc. The moment he started flailing his arms, she shifted into a more defensive position, crouching slightly and having the sword at the low ready, and she stayed there despite his turning his attention to the city below. Her steely gaze narrowed, but her heartrate slowed down just enough for her to be less in combat mode. With less combat mode, came a slightly lowered sword. Not fully gone, but it stayed in her hand as her glare softened softly, watching the newcomer's movements. Mostly tuned out of his rambling, she raised the wooden blade ever so slightly as he turned back to her. Eyas wasn't a fan of being fucked with, and she was quickly beginning to see his continued presence as doing. Or he was just that slow. Either or. Either way, he was harmless enough, and he couldn't know that shit was gonna set her off the way it did. So she took a breath, willed her pulse to slow, and slowly brought the sword across to her left hip, where it descended into the sheathe with the sound of wood on leather, once again. "You're on your own here. You want a quest though? Girl named Madison's looking for twenty bear asses. Hear reward's good for helping her."
LEOKNIGHT ➕ASSIST MODE 100 HP MAX HP100 EN MAX EN So she was a non-playable character! Nice, he was seriously overjoyed with the fact that he was correct! Though this character had been pretty life-like and very responsive, he couldn't believe how life-like the game had been. He wondered if people were capable of even dying in towns and cities here? Well, those were questions he'd have to find out on his own eventually. For now he had only but one question on his mind. "Who the heck is Madison?" He thought aloud. She was the first person he'd met, was she Madison? Looking at the character and staring at her for a great deal of time. He couldn't figure her out. And if she wasn't Madison, where the heck could he find her? Ah, whatever! He was just overly joyed about his first investigation. He began to frolick in a circle, hands clasped together as star-spangled eyes gleamed with sheen. The male continued to repeat in his frolicking circle, "A mission, a mission, I got a mission! A mission, a mission, and it's from a girl~♬!" He was overjoyed only to trip over his own feet, plummeting to his face only to intake a heaping helping of grass and dirt right after. Quickly standing up, he'd ask the girl once coming back to his senses, "Do you plan on taking me Madison by any chance?! I don't exactly know what she looks like, who she is, or where I can even find her?!" The confused male excitedly asked, a serious face behind words of joy. "We can totally go together if you want, it'll be like a date!" The male inquired. TAG: @Eyas Amari NOTES: Jeezus, she's cray-cray.
