  1. The Shield noticed something moving, and slowly began to poke the Faerin that didn't seem to give any sign of waking up. Ghast frowned and observed again, now noticing what was moving was an Yladian with a blade on his hands.

Seeing this, the Shield began slapping Hanno's head to force him awake, and the Faerin woke up while mumbling something in a tired tone. Until a pain scream suddenly startled Hanno.

"What?!" He looked up, seeing @Daedalus injuried. "HEEEY!" The Faerin stood up, charging at the mysterious Yladian. "GET AWAY FROM HIM!" He thundered as he stared intently at the man.

The Yladian's calm reaction didn't make Hanno any less angry at the moment, that apparently would only calm down after the first charge.

Finally reaching the Yladian, Hanno swinged his Shield, attempting to knock the mysterious Yladian away from Daedalus.

The Faerin gave a fast glance behind him, seeing his comrade. "Are you okay?!" He asked, looking back at the enemy. 'What's with this guy?' He thought while taking a protective stance.

  2. "I'm up, I'm up..."

Mumbling sleepily as his little contraption poked him in the side of the head, Daedalus flopped his hand around until he silenced the prototype alarm prod. Rubbing his hands together for warmth as he trudged out of his tent, he sat down next to the embers of the campfire, yawning and rubbing his eyes.

    "Brrr...it's cold out."

Musing to nobody in particular, he edged closer to the smoldering remains of the fire, staving off the pervasive midnight cold. Just as he was almost about to close his eyes again for a sneaky nap, a stranger's voice jolted him awake.

"AIEEEEEEEEE! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

The voice only kept interrogating him for his party's identities, and a sharp bolt of pain stuck in his arm as a dagger twisted into his flesh and scraped bone. Was he going to die like this...?!

    CLONG

As @Hanno Futaba came to the rescue, Daedalus took the opportunity to imitate @Aurora Labyrinth and swung his boot-clad foot at his Yladian captor's crown jewels with all his might, seeking to absolutely obliterate his chances of producing future generations. Regardless of his success or not, Daedalus would slink away towards his allies after making his kick, clutching his arm and trying to hold his wound closed.

  3. Aurora was usually a deep sleeper but even she woke up to the tinkerer's scream. The girl jolted up causing a sharp ache in her head which quickly died out as she watched her teammate get stabbed in the arm. It made her wink, remembering just how much it pained when it happened to her. Luckily, @Hanno Futaba was quick to attack and hit the Yladian with his shield, giving @Daedalus enough time to kick the male in the balls and make distance between them. Aurora recited a spell and made a beam fall from the sky. She made sure it did not strike the bandit but rather the ground, which caused the earth's crust to break, rocks flying left and right due to the explosion. "Calm down Mr. We need not fight. I understand you are upset at the loss of your teammates but attacking us will not solve anything. By taking revenge, you will just fall down the spiral of hate and suffering, one you will not be able to escape" She tried to reason with the male, not wanting him to suffer the same fate the bandits did. For all Aurora knew, the king would just showcase the Yladian's body like he did for the bandits.

  4. Sleep had come easy to Galadion, the fatigue that he had built up from a days worth of walking and the exertion that he felt from using spell after spell had finally caught up with him. He was sleeping rather well and quite soundly despite the fact that he was out in the open and had his back pressed up against a tree. His dreams were peaceful and detailed what life would be like when his ambition had finally come true, a restored and united Yladia.

His peaceful dreams did not last long however when he was abruptly awakened from his slumber by a rather girlish shriek that had ripped through the air. Galadion sat up abruptly looking around the clearing for any sign of a major attack but instead he was met with the sight of only a single man. The first thing that Galadion noticed about the intruder where the pointed elf ears, so he was a Yladian just like the sorcerer something that was going to pose a problem for him.

He watched as each one of his travelling companions attempted to deal with the Yladian intruder in their own way, each one as seemingly ineffective as the next. Trying to deal with a Yladian, in the forest after dark would prove to be a rather difficult task as the racial ability that the Yladian people had Wayfinder made them experts at traversing in the wilds. It would seem that this Yladian had been the leader of the men that he had slaughtered when they had attacked them and he was here now to seek revenge.

Rising to his feet Galadion stepped into the light and looked at the intruder "I was the one who killed your men, I was the one who impaled them and left them along the side of the road like an offering to the gods". He stared at the intruder, his silvery eyes full of disgusted hatred "If you know what is good for you, you will leave us now or I will do the same thing to you as well, the only difference will be I will be skewering a charred corpse this time". He stood there, his eyes boring down upon the intruder never once giving an itch as he waited for the Yladians response.

No action taken against the Yladian

The mysterious man keeps his easy-going smile even as @Hanno Futaba charges, slamming him away from the other Faerin with a mighty swing of his shield. That smile drops, however, when @Daedalus' boot meets his jewels. The mysterious man winces and curls in protectively around himself, only barely fending off the debris from @Aurora Labyrinth's spell.

"Must we do this? My request is simple - give me the name of the murderer of my men!" The mysterious man straightens up after a few moments and smiles once more.

As he says this, @Galadion reveals himself.

The easy-going smile on his face widens and his eyes brighten. "Ah! The lamb offers itself!" They focus on a spot near Galadion and then vanish. One moment they are here, the next they are there, standing beside Galadion with a dagger out. "The lamb thinks it's cute!" The man drives the dagger into Galadion's side, unfortunately missing the man's vital parts. "I'll be nice. One head, his, for the four of my men!" he chirps, twisting the dagger in the wound. He then pulls the dagger out, waving it nonchalantly at the others. "I would hate to hurt all your pretty faces, after all."

The man, quite honestly, looks like he's taking this all as a game.

Fortunately, the man is so focused on Galadion, he does not notice Richard sleepily poking his head out of his tent to check on all the ruckus. He also, thankfully, does not notice Richard immediately waking up, squeaking, and ducking back into said tent to hide.

  6. Galadion stood there looking at the mysterious man for a moment, he watched as he rolled himself into a ball and tried to protect himself after having taking a particularly savage kick to his groin. This brought a small smile to his face until he noticed that the man was staring at him from the ground which caused him to narrow his eyes ever so slightly, the man was planning something but he hoped that his words would have been enough to intimidate the man enough into not attacking. While he may have mercilessly slaughtered the bandits that had attacked them back upon the road they were human and he didn't care about them, this man however was a Yladian and he really didn't want to have to kill someone of his own race if he didn't have to.

Unfortunately his wish had been denied, the man seemed to simply vanish from his line of sight as if he had teleported somehow, but the was ridiculous it wasn't possible for someone to teleport in this game not even with magic, or was it? He heard the mans voice in his ears and then all of a sudden his side was hot, incredibly hot which caused him to look down and his eyes widened when he seen the mans blade buried deep inside the flesh of his side. And if that wasn't enough the man twisted the blade while it was still buried deep in his side, the side of his white robe slowly starting to be stained red.

When the man finally pulled the knife free from his flesh, it was then and only then that a pained yell finally ripped free from his throat "Gyaaaah". Galadions eyes flashed with anger, no not anger, pure unadulterated hatred for the man who had just stabbed him, stumbling forwards a couple of steps began to gather up the mana that he would need to cast a spell "Qwuarenth, Cyanthos........" his words trailed off however before the spell was completed as he dropped down to one knee glaring up at the man, pain making him unable to gather the required focus needed for a spell as blood gushed from his wide open wound.

  7. Aurora did not like the king. She despised the way he behaved before and after killing the bandits. Even so, he was still her teammate and no matter how cruel, she did not want the male to die and judging by the anger flaring in the vengeful eyes of the man, she came to realize he would not stop until his revenge was over.

She conjured up another spell, a small bomb on that man's feet. That was all she could do sadly. Her magic wasn't very target specific and there were chances that the Yladian king would get caught in the explosion but it was either him getting a little more injured or him dying. It was obvious which sounded more desirable. If worst came to worse, she would just heal the male ,along with Hanno, after the attacker was down.

  8. Falling back behind the protective line of his companions, Daedalus reached into his pockets and pulled out a little vial containing some viscous red liquid, a prototypical 'improved Panacea' that could grant limited full-body regeneration over several rounds instead of simply localized wound healing.

Now seemed a good time to test it out as any other, so he popped the cork out with his teeth and gingerly poured the salve onto his wound as the battle raged on around him, with @Aurora Labyrinth firing more Arcanamancy spells at the attacker as @Galadion was being mercilessly shanked. For a few seconds, the liquid bubbled, then slowly seeped into his skin. Moments later, his expectant grin turned upside down into a grimace of uncertainty.

    "Oh no."

Something didn't feel right. The wound wasn't closing up.

"I...I don't feel so good, kids..."

  9. Hanno frowned when the mysterious Yladian vanished, looking around trying to find him. 'Where is this guy?!' That situation was dangerous, he could be attacking Aurora or Daedalus again.

Suddenly the mysterious man's voice catched the Faerin's attention, and seeing that he was aiming for Galadion made Hanno feel a brief relief. His Yladian comrade was very tough too, so he should be able to handle the situation... But unfortunately that was not what happened.

Not only the enemy wounded him, but Galadion also missed his spell. 'Crap!' Hanno frowned blasting off toward the mysterious Yladian, swinging his shield to slam him away from his comrade. 'He's blindly focusing on Galadion... I need to catch his attention. But how?!' Hanno frowned.

'I... I will need to poke his vengeful feelings.' The Faerin didn't like that, and that maybe would make Aurora see him as someone bad but- That was necessary.

Letting out a dark chuckle, Hanno looked down on the mysterious Yladion with a smug smile. "Come on- I really can't let my stupid ally take all the blame." He grinned. "You know, since Titanus battle I kind of missed the feel of being in a blood bath, seeing everyone dying in horror while grasping to their last breaths vainly~ So it was lovely both to my ears and my eyes to kill one of your weakling comrades while he was pleading for his life!" Outside Hanno was looking very devilish, but inside he was almost punching himself on the face.

"Now now, why don't you come here swinging this worthless dagger. I will love to break your skull while you cry for your life too!" Hanno's eyes and his Shield stared intently at the vengeful man. 'Those lies are for a greater good, I think.' He tried to comfort himself.

@Daedalus' "improved Panacea" sizzles and pops as it seeps into his flesh, sinking in and melting away. For a moment, nothing seems to happen. The moment stretches longer as Daedalus attempts to move, only to find that his entire body is frozen. His new prototype has certainly done something to his body, just nothing helpful! NAT 1 EVENT: Daedalus cannot do anything this turn, as his potion has locked his body! (You may post but no action can be taken)

The mysterious Yladian blinks as @Galadion aims a spell towards him, faltering and failing to cast. He quickly starts to laugh. "The lamb thinks it's scary!" The Yladian approaches with a cat-like grin, ready to stab again, but is stopped in his path as the ground explodes between him and Galadion. The debris flies everywhere, cutting the Yladian's cheek and Galadion's leg. Yladian and Galadion take 1 hit!

He looks up with narrowed eyes at @Aurora Labyrinth. "I have my prey, there's no need to interfere any longer, hmm?" He looks back down at Galadion, pulls back his arm, and—

SLAM! He holds his other arm up in front of his face, taking the brunt of the shield's swing to his limb. His smile drops as @Hanno Futaba interrupts his play, the annoyance quickly transforming into a rage that twists his face into a snarl. "AhaHAHAHA!" One doesn't have to look closely to see the tears rolling down his face, even as he laughs. "YOU FILFTHY MONSTER! I will cleanse this world of your presence!" He screams at the Faerin... and, blink, is gone again. He reappears behind Hanno, already stabbing forward with a swift thrust into the man's gut. Hanno takes 1 hit!

The Yladian is now targetting Hanno. Everybody gets +10 to hits against the Yladian, Hanno gets -10 to hits.

Behind him, Richard crawls out of his tent. He runs to his horses and supplies, going to calm them down, and prepares to leave. Perhaps they can outrun this crazy man while he's distracted! However, as he looks upon the adventurers, possibly fighting for their lives… he hesitates.

Mostly, he's scared they might live and hunt him down.

He swallows and leads his horses out of the free clearing, keeping them under the trees to protect them from any further stray daggers, then comes back into the shadows of the clearing. He's just outside of the Yladian's sight, but waves frantically at the others in the gruop, motioning for them to come and escape!

As long as the Yladian is focused on one person, he will not pursue the others (until their focus is dead/switched).

  11. There were no words to describe how much shame the Faerin felt when he saw the face of the Yladian that was expressing a despair look for revenge, he frowned with a huge guilty filling his heart in a painful way. 'Fuck- I can't believe I'm saying this-'

Someone that was actually evil would be able to cry for his comrades lives? Of course, that Yladian wasn't innocent for what he have done, but was he really completely selfish and evil? Maybe Hanno was impulsive in trying to target the mysterious man's feelings just to make him keep the focus on the Faerin.

'What I have done?' His teeth clenched and he became distracted for a moment, only getting getting alerted again when the dagger pierced in his flesh, making him let out a painful but muffled groan. 'I don't deserve to complain about pain, NOT AFTER THIS-'

'Sorry' His eyes were filled with an apologetic and angry look, clearly on verge of tears. 'I'm sorry, you are right-' "Y-YES I AM A MONSTER FOR DOING THIS!" The Faerin yelled with a cracking voice as he grabbed the Yladian's collar by force and pulled him harshly, slamming the shield on his temple in an attempt to destabilize the man, not caring in any moment about the dagger that was wounding him.

Hanno's rage was more focused in himself than on the Yladian, as he stared intently with teary eyes at his enemy. "You guys need to go-" He whispered to whoever was close with a weak tone, though he was unsure if anyone would hear him out after what he did.

  12. "Kids, I think -"

Daedalus' jaw locked suddenly as the chemicals spread through his veins, and when he tried to throw aside the empty vial in disgust, he found that his fingers had locked up as well; in fact, his entire arm had lost all feeling and become like a block of marble, stuck in place and immovable.

Panicking now, he tried taking a step back towards Richard, who was gesturing silently for them to make an escape, but his legs seemed to suddenly be filled lead. His entire body was unyielding and forcibly stationary; he could only dart his eyes about in alarm and grunt as he realized what he had applied wasn't a regeneration potion, but a paralyzing poison instead.

    "...!"

He could only watch helplessly as chaos erupted all around him, stiffly observing like a statue. @Hanno Futaba was trying his hardest to goad the Yladian into focusing entirely on him with provocations and blatant lies while @Aurora Labyrinth's explosive spell causes extensive collateral damage to @Galadion, and he was stuck in place, waiting helplessly for the poison to wear off.

Nat 1 Effect: Paralyzed. No actions can be taken.

  13. Rage and hatred flashed in the silvery eyes of the silver haired Yladian King as he stood there and looked down at his now completely ruined white robes, the entire side of his robe had now been colored red from the blood the was flowing forth from the stab wound on his side. Thoughts of all the gruesome ways that he could slaughter this man were the only thing that were running through his mind, the only thing that he could focus on through the anger and pain. Slowly he turned around and looked at the man glaring angrily at him "Infurnus Igni....".

Right as Galadion began to speak the words of power needed for the magical invocation for a spell from his pyromancy mastery a beam of light fell down from the heavens and blasted him away from the Yladian male that had stabbed him in the side. The small resulting blast had knocked him off of his feet and caused a sharpened piece of rock to tear through his leg like a piece of shrapnel as he rolled across the ground. Finally coming to a halt Galadion raised his head and looked at his teammates "HEY!!! BE MORE CAREFUL WHERE YOU AIM!!!!"

  14. "I'm sorry! my magic isn't so aim specific if you didn't realise"she said back to Galadion , making a mental note to heal him once everything was over.

She heard Daedalus's voice until he stopped. She turned to see the man completely stiffen up like a statue. Beside him was an empty bottle. Did he drink poison? That was bad. They needed to end the fight, and fast.

She looked, trying to spot the merchant and was relieved to see he found himself a safe place. Now, if anything bad happened, at least he could run away. Aurora wanted to aim once more at the Yladian but since Hanno was close, she didn't want to strike, afraid that she might injury another teammate of her's. Her emerald eyes widen as she noticed the tears of their attacker. Of course he was hurt and after hearing Hanno's cruel words (even if they were not true), the man would only see them as nothing but monsters. She clenched her fist and charged at the man, trying to hug the man from behind, in an attempt to comfort and calm the man.

"You are hurt and broken!" She said in a loud voice to get the man's attention before letting her voice grow softer "I understand...you lost the people you considered family and you grief for your loss. And now, you are only trying to distract yourself from the pain. But please..Revenge will not bring them back, nor will it give them happiness. We did not want to attack them, and I bet they only attacked us out of desperation that was forced upon by life. I'm afraid no justice can be served in this situation. You must think how unfair and cruel this is and that you cannot move on..but you will. It will take time and effort..but I know you can stand up once again..to live so you can keep them in your heart..So please stop this.."

The Yladian tries to teleport away from @Hanno Futaba's direct attack, but the man's grip on his collar prevents him from escaping. He takes the shield to his temple with a groan, but not before ripping the dagger buried in Hanno's side out and stabbing him once more. The Yladian stumbles and tries to teleport away even after Hanno lets go, but finds that the ringing in his ears impedes his focus. Hanno takes 1 hit.

The Yladian man is stunned. +10 to ALL hits.

The Yladian tries to back away from Hanno and flinches as @Galadion prepares another spell. This time, as it fails to cast, the Yladian says nothing. He just tries to get away.

As he backs up, he backs straight into @Aurora Labyrinth's arms. The Yladian stiffens and struggles, momentarily, against the grip. But as she speaks, her voice ever so gentle and kind, he finds himself… relaxing. The silent tears rolling down his face are accompanied with a sob. "You…" His hand, which has been reaching for his pocket of daggers, drops to his side. "My justice…" For a moment, he almost seems to… consider her words. The Yladian man is distracted. An additional +10 to ALL hits.

Richard, the cowardly. Richard, the terrified. Richard, the man sneaking around the edges of the forest to reach @Daedalus.

The merchant bends over the Faerin with a furrow in his brow and holds a finger to his lips. He whispers to the frozen man. "C'mon, sonny. C'mon, my boy." Whether it is Richard's magical fingers, digging into Daedalus' shoulder in reassurance (for himself or for Daedalus is still uncertain), or just the potion wearing off, Daedalus finds that he can move once more. Daedalus' NAT 1 event has ended! Daedalus may take his turn!

You can divide heal/buff however you want among as many targets as you want.

If you roll a natural 100, your action will change in efficiency. Attack - you attack twice in a row! Buff - you get +10 to total buff. Heal - you get +2 to total heal. Any other actions that roll a 100 will be either explained in Discord or the DM post.
