Personality
Hestia and Melody are exactly alike, seeing no reason to change her personality in the game as both choose to match the many sides of fire they both admire. She tries to be there for people when they need a shoulder to cry on, or a light to guide them out of the darkness. She becomes the shield and sword to protect the people and vanquish the enemy. She rarely is one to decline someone’s call for help. But just as fire provides warmth and comfort, it can devour and destroy as well. When she is bored she starts a fire to watch it grow ranging from a figurative fire like a fight to an actual one. When pissed off she holds nothing back. You can't control or tell a fire what to do, and most of the time that is the same for her as well.
There is also many different fires, and many other sides to Hestia & Melody. She will never admit to enjoying sappy things. She likes to live in the moment. She is not a woman to get on the bad side of due to her never dropping a grudge. But she is also loyal, once she finds someone to trust she devotes as much to them as she is allowed to give. Being betrayed by them is also equal to losing her world and going on a roaring rampage of revenge. But despite the misfortune she’s experienced she keeps an optimistic perspective while being aware of her shortcomings, striving to be the best she can be and refusing to let her spirit waver.

Biography
Melody Dimitiou born October 31st, 2003 but one of bad luck and to parents of superstitions paranoia. Both her mother and father saw her red hair and red eyes as acts of the devil and left her on the doorsteps of a orphanage. Bad luck once more plagued the girl's life as even the other orphans wanted as little do with Melody as possible, picking on her and never inviting her to join them as her appearance and her quiet demeanor unnerved them.
Sure the caretakers did their best for Melody, knowing that despite her unusual appearance and behavior she was still a child in need of affection and guidance, one with many talents once given the opportunity to develop herself. But instead of winning the respect of the other children Melody never showed off, and bore the bullying with silent strength, as she got older having an easier time connecting with others as childish disputes were swept away. At eighteen years old, however, Melody's bad luck swept into her life once again. On August 7th, 2022 the orphanage was burnt down with the cause of the fire not having been discovered to this day.
Melody was in the basement when the fire had started, cleaning the clothing when she caught the scent of smoke and tried to see what was going on. The metal door handle burning her left palm, and when she got the idea to cover her hand and open it she was greeted with a blast of fire sending her down the stairs and knocking her out on impact. She awoke in the back of a ambulance, her being in the cold and damp basement at the time of the fire having saved her life, even if she didn’t escape unscathed.
Unfortunately her appearance once more made life harder for her, as those who held the same superstition as her biological parents accused her of being responsible of the fire, being the only one to survive it. There was no evidence and the police wouldn’t arrest her on mere superstition and suspicion, but as Melody saw that nearly everyone she knew, even those who she’d actually gotten along with, turned against her because of her hair and her eyes, she knew that there was nothing left for her in her hometown and left as soon as she could.
After six long years of saving up and learning what she needed Melody moved to America and found herself a place and job in New York. Having learned the fickleness of the crowd she largely kept to herself, slowly making few but very dear friends. She had been betrayed before, people shunning her for things she had no control over even after years of getting along, and this time around she wouldn’t place her trust in people who didn’t deserve it.
But despite everything Melody refused to give in, to become gloomy or downcast. Her parents may have abandoned her, but the caretakers at the orphanage had never given up on her. The fire may have taken everything from her, but it had left her her life where many others hadn’t been so lucky. The crowds may have turned on her once but she still found new friends, people who weren’t turned away by her eyes or her hair, who she could trust. Every time misfortune hit her she was also blessed, and she wouldn’t let herself dwell on the bad when she could build upon the good instead.
The fire may be terrifying, but it’s also beautiful. A destructive force, but also a beacon of light.
