  1. "So, what's the best way to whip your character into shape, you ask? Sensei Akino, how can I get my blade swinging skills faster? Sensei Akino, how can I get my magic casting faster? Well, young pups, the answer is simple! By hiking, of course! A good ol' fashioned hike does wonders for these new bodies! Through the process, we learn more about these new forms than we ever would through plain ol' combat! Mainly because it saves you the time of dying over and over again! As long as you aren't careless and slip on a wet stone, you'll be fine here! We'll learn just how high we can lift those knees, and just how much oxygen we can stuff into one breath! And our stamina? Oho, don't even let me start about the stamina! You want to be a tank, which I know neither of you do but work with me here, then you'll be the best tank in the world after a couple of mile long hikes! What we need is to whip these fresh meat sacks into tightly wound machines! Of battle! Or magic! Or taming! What's that you say? You aren't a fighter, you say? That's okay! It will give you a sense for other things too, like how fast your energy will be depleted, or how well you will be able to keep up with your quarry! Ladies, I promise you that when you are through with this hike, you'll feel like you've mastered every inch of the vessels we call bodies. And what better of a place to do so than in the beautiful, scenic Brisshal?! Here you'll be safe as a kitten, especially while being watched over by your's truly. But seriously, watch out for those wet rocks. When we get higher up, they really can be a killer. Remember, we all have limits, and we aren't hear to break those. Not yet at least. We are here to learn them. Granted, the over-achiever will attempt to break the limits without ever being told, but I am hoping you two will take it slow. Enjoy the nature, enjoy all this new world has to offer. And, most of all, enjoy your new abilities! Who knows, maybe we'll even find a fight or two along the way!"

As Akino prattled on over the topic, he walked in circle about the two girls who stood before him, as if he were a drill sergeant. A very friendly, tea lovin' drill sergeant! With cat ears and a tail! The felis had sent them both messages earlier in the day, saying something along the lines of "I hear you haven't gotten out into this world too much yet! Feeling a bit shy to explore, or worried? Well don't be! This place is wondrous, absolutely stunning. And I know just the trek to get your blood pumping, while throwing some mastery into your pocket! After this hike, you'll feel confident enough to take on a mountain!" Attached to the message had been a smiley face, and map marker. Was it strange for him to message the new players? Not at all, they had recently showed interest in the guild he was a part of! So now they all sat, well Akino was standing, in the clearing of some sort of ancient henge, moss overtaking the forgotten stones. If the speech, or pep talk, had gone on much longer, moss may have grown on the two of them as well! The felis' tail whipped about him excitedly as he stopped his circles, standing in front of the two once again.

"Alright, I know that was long-winded, but it's always good to get some blood flowing through the mind as much as the body. I am sure you both will love this hike though, it has been a standard for me since I arrived here not so long ago. It has a way of connecting one's soul with these lands. So, are you two ready to haul your behinds up a mountain with me?"

As he said the words, he pointed a clawed finger up towards the mass of green-grey that loomed above. The peak was shrouded in mist, but the front that faced them had a clearly marked and well-traveled trail leading up it in twists and turns, and sometimes circles! Beside said path were numerous stones of various minerals, gleaming bright and vivid in the direct sunlight. The veil of the mountain peak gleamed golden, and it cast a very welcoming look down onto the adventurers. Occasionally, one could even spot what might have being ruins of some kind dotting the mountain's face. It didn't scream DANGER like some of the other places in this world. Instead, it sang out for them to come and test their might, their endurance, and their wits! While enjoying some real fanciful scenery along the way. To punctuate the total lack of intimidation in the scene, Ju-ju the Panda Pom (a panda-canine hybrid), would poke out his adorable face and make some squeal of excitement. Clearly it was his first time as well, and he was pumped! He chewed on his faux-bamboo voraciously.

  2. "Why wouldn't I be enjoying the great outdoors here? I'm playing this game to enjoy the signs not become a shut in like I am in the real world." A loud a boisterous laugh exited her mouth as the Faerin placed both of her hands behind her head. While admittingly, it would have been preferable for her to walk along a nice even path and enjoy nature, she was not one to complain... at least much. "Just how long would it be until we would reach the top from this point? My avatar body isn't as fit as my real one, although I'm sure this will help it become stronger." Her physical fitness was worse than she admittingly would like, but Augusta silently hoped that more and more adventuring in this world would aid in whipping this body back in shape. This hike would be the first step in training her own body to become stronger and hopefully, rise up to become a great fighter in this world. It was rather strange in this world how everything would work. Each of her senses felt so alive, it felt like she was living a lie. The lie that everything here was fake, and she was merely a visitor in this world. The only giveaway was the pain she felt, which would have been slightly less than what she would have felt in her own life. Here she was truly a new person, not the girl who lived alone in her dorm, but rather the adventuring, lively spirit that rested inside her body. It was something she would be willing to embrace. "Anyways quit the talking, I get the gist of it. Enjoy the hike, use this opportunity as a way to train and get to know ourselves better and watch out for wet rocks. I get it, I'm about to fall asleep on you." While Augusta understood that her words were rather impolite, the tone in her voice made it clear that she was simply bored of listening and wanted to get started. She did not intend to insult the other group. "We're going to grow ancient the more you talk and maybe become a display with the other parts of nature." Giving one last laugh, Augusta began to recount the events which had driven them to come here earlier.

Earlier that day, while relaxing around the generated town, she noticed a message within her inbox. Typically in other RPGs she would have been given quests to act out right from the moment she spawned in, but here there were none. The message would give her an opportunity though, to explore this world more and understand how it was designed, perfect. This trip would not only give her a better insight of this world but a way for her to become stronger. She understood it wouldn't be a walk in the park, but it was a situation that she would have to take advantage of. It was only a matter of minutes after she received the message before she replied. I'll see you there. Going there right now! Similar to the message she received earlier, a smiley face was also attached to the message. Why not return the favor of emoticons? After making quick preparations, she would immediately head out to the map marker where she would meet up with the Felis and another person whom she did not know. This woman was clearly a human as she lacked the features that the other Felis and Faerin possessed. Once they would meet it would be a matter of seconds before she found herself introducing herself. "Yo! The name's Augusta Akker! Nice to meet you!" She extended out a hand to the human whom she flashed a wide smile upon. "Hey, Akino!" She would greet the drill sergeant once her eyes landed on him. "I'm here for that hike. Nice to know that I'm not the only person you invited though. Hope this will be fun!"

Blinking a few times as Akino's speech had finally reached the ending, she immediately jumped to her feet before almost beginning to leave by herself. "Finally," She said with a slight tone of exasperation in her voice. "I sure as hell am." Her eyes would follow the finger in which he pointed at the mountain. She would only be able to see mist that covered the trail, although the path itself was inviting, beckoning for her to come and traverse its trails silently. At the current point of time, this path would not be a piece of cake and it was something she understood. However, she was determined to arrive at the end. She was ready to put herself through this challenge in an effort to become stronger. Looking back at the others, Augusta nodded. "What are we waiting for? Let's go!"
