Kana was doing her work in the library today. She had been happy since the day she came to America. Or at least happy that she did not have to listen to the elders of her family. Happy that she could for once decide what she wanted to do. And well that had caused her to shift in what she was doing for her chosen profession but she was okay with that. She had gotten a call from some people back in Japan that had managed to find out she had gotten into the states. Of course she should have expected that when she finally signed into a game again. Thank god for her family not know her online alias or anything like that. They had been asking her about the thing she didn't want to talk about and she wasn't willing to really say much only that if they needed help she would do her best to help them when she wasn't studying as studying had always been the top thing for her. It probably didn't help that the first person she saw when she started school here was one person she thought that she was going to get rid of at some point but it seemed that wasn't what Fate had in store for her or something. Somehow they always found their way back to each other. Maybe that was what it meant to have a Karmatic tie with someone. Sam was her rival and she hated him but maybe not ever fiber of her being did. But she wouldn't admit to it she knew she hated him and the things their relationship stood for but on the other hand she was also glad that he was here with her too. It was funny really. Still she didn't dwell on this as she pulled out her anatomy books. She began to take notes thinking only of the class she was studying for and the new places she found herself when she was done with her school work and no one was anywhere to be found. A new VRMMO that she wasn't really sure she was supposed to be in but if felt like SAO once had. It felt like home. She shook that off and focused.
