[Thread Roulette Quest: 3-4 Post Per Person to complete the quest] The poster looked interesting. She loved children, they were easy to entertain and this was a girl. Catharina could already picture a whole day of braiding, coloring, maybe they could find some marbles or pretty things to make a bracelet. Simple things, nice things. The parents wanted their kid to learn something, well she could teach her maybe how to swim if she didn’t know that yet. Maybe play the harp or lute if that was somewhere in their house. They were rich, the rich preferred classical sophisticated music skills in the real world. Perhaps this would be the same here? Catharina had no clue, but she decided that if she wanted to have some easy, fun job with a nice view; this was it. There she went, leaving Brisshal behind her. By foot it might have taken her longer to get to the city. Fortunately, she passed some experienced players and other travelling NPC’s. It made the way to the city a bit more fun, talking with the passerby’s as they walked. It distracted her from her painful feet. Sometimes she was lucky, then she could jump behind them on their mount or whatever transport they had to actually take a rest and just watch the beautiful scenery. She had arrived the city at dawn, completely exhausted and looking like the next straight hobo. Rich people, they weren’t going to let a greasy adventurer with straws in her hair into their clean home to give parasites to their daughter. In a local inn she had freshened herself up, slept like the dead and inquired which way the house was. The lakeside house was beautiful. The kind of house you would expect from rich people. The lake was shimmering in the sun when Catharina arrived. On the lake side, the house had an open balustrade and apparently also some stairs to get down the lake faster. It was a nice spot, maybe if she had enough gold she could retire her gamer life and settle with a nice in-game pretty house. One entirely for herself. That wouldn’t be too bad. She smiled and walked up to the house to knock on the door. Perhaps there were already other adventurers on the job, Catharina wasn’t sure. The door opened and a pretty lady in a fine dress opened up. ‘’Oh, hello dear. May I presume you come for the babysitting job? Our lovely Philippa has been making an awful fuss about us leaving for the rest of the day. Please, come inside.’’ As Catharina stepped inside, she could hear a girl screaming bloody murder through the house. Oh, boy. @Albert Belmont
