Personality
Hannah's personality outside of the Game is that of a loner, often going out of her way to avoid crowded spaces or large groups of people in general due to a combination of a fear of tight spaces and an intense anxiety which prevents her from expressing herself properly in person. She has very few friends and considers herself closest only to her Partner and spends as much time with her as possible when out in public to avoid being on her own.
This is not to say that Hannah is a complete wreck incapable of taking care of herself, as she often forces herself to go out of her comfort zone in order to get things done or on the urging of her Partner, she does prefer being alone in most cases, however.
In real-life, Hannah also has trouble when it comes to dealing with confrontation due to her self-imposed isolation and is often getting taken advantage of in small ways such as being cut in line or not questioning someone when they tell her to stay out of a situation, so she often avoids such things when at all possible.
On the positive side, Hannah has had great successes in the academic field and has found herself consistently among the top of her class and as a result has had no trouble receiving admission to the University of her choice when applying and is on the fast-track to earning her degree in Ancient History, which is something she has wanted to achieve since she began learning about the topic as a younger girl.
Her in-game personality is much the opposite of her real-world self; being prone to violence and one who would rather solve things through action than words, she is a sort of way for Hannah to 'vent' her frustrations and her anger in a way that is a bit more on the safe side than going out and picking fights with strangers like her in-game counterpart would.

Biography
Hannah's childhood was plain for the most part and rather uneventful, with nothing much occurring during this time except for a growing love of video-games and fiction which would become something almost of an obsession into her teenage years and follow her into her time at University, where she would begin a gaming club and soon after begin hearing about the mysterious Terasphere; something which was held in an almost mythical status by her club-members and she would soon find herself seeking out any knowledge regarding the mysterious game by any means necessary in order to perhaps be able to try it some day.
Aside from her gaming obsession, however, Hannah had also developed feelings for a girl who would soon become her partner after inviting the girl into her club and beginning to spend more and more time with her alone. These feelings, at least for Hannah, developed into a strong bond of loyalty and love which overshadowed her typical rather passive nature as she would become so infatuated that she would do literally anything that the girl asked if only she would say the words.
It was both of her loves in life combined that led her to find Terasphere, having stumbled across a message board deep within the web that claimed to have access to the client and required a potential user to submit a request to the Administrator, which she did without so much as a second thought - and quickly sent the website to the rest of her club members and her partner to ensure that they could request the game as well.
She received the strange email not too long after and logged in as soon as she had been able. From there, she created the character Kivela and, for the time being, has kept her secret from the others until she feels comfortable in revealing herself. Now she spends nearly all of her free time within the Game, straining some of her relationships while others simply view it as something they saw coming, either way, Hannah is no longer the one in control - Kivela is.
