  1. Lilianna couldn't help sighing to herself looking down at the creature she'd just slain. Already it was the third one of these mysterious creatures that had chased after her from out of nowhere as if they were intentionally seeking to die. They were small, stubby humanoids, with green skin covered in rough callouses she couldn't identify. Had she been more aware of how the game worked she would be able to find that they were the lowest of the low goblin subspecies. Their stats were pathetic, their equipment was limited to sticks or the occasional rusty farming tool. They weren't exactly a tough opponent, but they weren't exactly easy either. Lilianna only thanked her lucky stars that she'd managed to get some equipment before they managed to find her. A large round circular shield, and a hatchet shaped like a fire axe. The shield was foreign to her, but understanding the principles of a shield wasn't difficult for her anyway. You block the blows with the end your hand isn't on, you turn the shield to direct damage away from the body for an effective parry-- After a few exchanges with these creatures, she deduced the technique for shield wielding well enough, but it wasn't yet a fluid and well oiled motion yet.

The axe on the other hand was a great deal more familiar, she'd used one a lot during trips, it was largely the reason she took it rather then a sword. It felt familiar in her hands and she at least knew how to use it effectively unlike a sword or something more exotic. Perhaps it was for this reason that Lilianna as someone completely unfamiliar with how to operate and succeed in the game was making any sort of headway at all. Despite her moderate almost non-existing success though, she was still filled with a mild bitterness. After searching for a while she couldn't find her partner, her wife, after being asked by her to make the search a little easier or at least give her a hint only answered that she'd gotten out of the newbie area a while ago and was already starting her adventure. Hearing that she was behind wasn't exactly surprising, but at the same time it meant that it would be some time before they could meet back up unless Lilianna managed to follow her into the more advance combat zones.

Looking down at those creatures she killed though, she could only sigh as she began cutting them up more thoroughly and stripping their body of meat and innards fiddling with blood as if it were no big deal. Hunting wasn't exactly new, butchery was a common thing when camping and living off of the land after all, while Lilianna wasn't that removed from electronics, those were the kinds of vacations she found ideal and exciting. Stripping the skin she struck up a flame easily enough to heat up the meat, the fact that it was humanoid didn't really dawn on Lilianna, it wasn't human after all, she couldn't exactly relate it to some kind of intelligent species with how it acted. Plus she had no idea what was considered proper food in this game either, so she merely ate whatever tasted good for the moment. Naturally her cooking was devoid of any success, it ended up a distasteful mess but she still chewed her rubbery abomination gnawing it to death until she could eat it to satiate herself. For the meal though, she wasn't exactly alone either, the impatient yelping and the fuzz ball climbing over her lap made that clear.

"Alright alright." Lilianna answered with a hearty grin as the small cub tried to persistently lick or nip her face until she gave it attention. It was a creature that Astor had thrown at her back when she first started the game up, but since then she wasn't exactly sure what to do with it after escaping the wolf pack and going through town with it tucked away. In the end she kept it, unaware of any alternatives at this point, even now it continued to paw at her persistently for some meal. She took the more unappetizing innards, shredding them with her roasting knife before throwing them down into the dirt to let it attack the unrecognizable mush it had become. Watching the creature eat, Lilianna could only sigh heavily. "Now... If only I can figure out what I'm supposed to do. The goal here isn't as clear as it is in sports..." She bitterly chuckled again knowing that she'd come into this far too blind. She'd gotten a small primer from her partner before entering the game, even every few often she asks questions hoping to hear more information but it all seemed so vague and lacked detailed description. She couldn't follow a few of the more important clues either with just her knowledge alone.
