  1. Although the last time she went to the tavern it had ended in a rather awkward display of affection and realizations she didn't intend to have, the Yladian healer wandered inside a local tavern with a soft sigh at the glances she got. Solaria had become a bit known for the moment, and not in a good way. She'd been forced to drink after getting on a drunk's case. It was quite the story to hear, if one were to listen.

Looking for a good spot to sit, she ordered herself some tea and found herself sitting near a man drinking an unusually colored liquor. She used her UI to find out it was 'honey ale'- a drink that both sounded good and bad for the body. A drink she wanted to know more about.

"Sir, mind if I ask you a couple questions? I've never heard of honey ale. Does it have actual honey in it? I'm wondering if perhaps it's healthier than normal alcoholic drinks, since honey has great health benefits including some that outweigh the risks from alcohol..."

She heard people in corners muttering to themselves. She was going at it again, getting on the case of someone with their drink. She seemed to wave them off- literally, waving her hand past them to show her acknowledgement. "Don't mind the busybodies. They just don't like me trying to protect their livers for some reason."

  2. As the day began and ended as usual, and the blonde haired Felis lost his comrade Seth, he had to expected real world complications, this wasn't too much of a problem as he himself had the same things at times. But as the hooded figure entered the inn earlier that day, ordering himself some Honey Beer, knowing how good it tasted in the real world, and in this world with the unusually realistic immersion, he was about to pass it up. But upon feeling the place shift about, the sound of people dying down as the sound of a voice range out towards him, it was a female voice and one that made him look towards the direction of the source.

To his surprise, the being was talking towards him, inquiring upon his beverage which made him wonder why she even cared, she stated that it was to protect their livers which was pointless in a virtual world.
"In all honesty, liver damage is not to consider in a virtual world, no matter how great the simulations of sense, such as touch, taste, hearing, scent..." "So damage to the organs are quite a redundant conclusion." He stated before adverting his slitted gray eyes towards the figures looking at them both, a claymore resting upon his back as a long furry limb was wrapped around it, clearly showing that he was not human. "And to answer your question, it is brewed like beer, but honey is used as one of the main ingredients."

His words filled the air as the leather cloak he had was more or less fashioned to be placed upon his head by his own hands, clearly not having a hood attached, so it looked fairly short on him which allowed the furry limb that twitched slightly and attached at the base of his base. He took a few sips of the drink while keeping it well out of her reach as he was giving off a rather protective but distant aura off, a subtle shifting under the cloak showed that there was something under it.
"So, it there is nothing else I can help you with, I bid thee farewell, Sayonara."

  3. "You never know what someone does offline, do you? I've met a few people in game who play to live what they want to do offline, but there's also some people who are just heavy drinkers anywhere they go. It's better to be safe than sorry, don't you think? As a nurse to be, it's my job to take care of people!"

With a grin on her face, the green haired girl was rather at ease- sure, he'd said 'virtual world', which had notably gotten them some more awkward looks...But then again, she had also been getting them since before talking to him. And all because of one memorable circumstance.

A circumstance that, as she thought about it, made her both pale and blush- half her body turning a ghastly shade, despite her cheeks turning cherry red. "I got drunk without intending to here once...And I swear, the hangover followed me when I logged out. But still, I'm also trying to learn for my future, you know. I mean, I'm sure honey ale is a thing back home too, right?"

He seemed to be trying to wave her off- even if she was impulsive and tended to act like a dim light bulb, she was actually able to notice it. "You can't get rid of me that easily. I'll have you know I'm well known for being like a mule when I get an interest in someone. Until you find a way to bore me, you're stuck now."

  4. Upon hearing all this from this woman, his tone was still the same way, distant and cold at the most due to his uncertainty with this female, but hearing her talk about the real world and how many would stare at them with great confusion, it was clear to him. "So I see, you're a player as well." "Psychological remarks and indicators like what I did often help me analyze who is human and who is an Artificial Intelligence." "Terrasphere is quite different from many games I've made and played, the interaction with the cerebral interface to mimic real world sensations is a breakthrough in Virtual Reality technology." He stated, clearly he had some intelligence due to the words he was using and how he was using them, as he looked towards the female, taking another sip of his honey beer, he could only not towards her question.

Hearing about how she got drunk here and had a hangover in the real world, he didn't expect the effects of the technology to be that realistic, either way he drank honey ale sometime beforehand in the real world, in private for he didn't want people to know he drank.
"It's only called "Honey Ale" in Terrasphere due to it being the time frame, beer was often called Ale in the medieval era, which I presume is the time lapse of Terrasphere." "It's actually just called Honey Beer." He said with his same calm tone, his deep voice filling the air as the flicking under his cloak continued, and he looked towards a few individuals in the corner booth across the room. "Careful, those people over there intend to shut you up if you continue harass the people here." "They don't like you."

  5. "Well, it could be because I have my pain sensors on full blast." The girl admitted, listening carefully to his words as he expressed himself as having a background in games. "I see, so you're big on games too? I've been playing MMOs since I was a preteen. No idea what goes into making them though. You must be pretty amazing to be able to do that!"

With a soft laugh, she let her lips caress her teacup once more. The tea in this world was oddly nostalgic in flavor- a bit less tasty, more bitter. Perhaps it was because the crafter wasn't a fan of the rather rambunctious healer- or, they just knew what she was accustomed to. "The tea even reminds me of home. It's amazing that way...And I don't really mind if that lot doesn't like me. It's their problem with me, not mine with them. I think they're fine people, so I worry for their health. Isn't that normal?"

  6. The slouched figure could only sigh out gently as he listened to her words, but when she spoke about how the tea tasted and reminded her of home, it made him smile gently as now his fierce eyes stabbed through the air towards the figures opposite of him who were making threatening remarks. "Perhaps... but not towards those who want you dead." He said to her in a gentle and quite tone, his body showing that he was ready for a tussle while the fur on his tail began standing up, a low growling sound was coming from his chest which was reminiscing to that of a feline. His entire being was off as well, the long sharp nails he had, one of his hands which was on the table, tapping against the wood while the tail wrapped around the sheathed claymore uncurling about.

The long and slender limb slicking back and forth in a rather territorial manner before he slowly pulled his hood down and shot a rather grim glance towards them, it was almost so cold that everyone stopped in their tracks, The only look the men had were of near blank and pale figures for the man that was staring them down held a rather devilish smile upon his face that would make even the best warrior back down. He was also giving off a rather psychotic vibe, something he learned how to do when people would no leave him alone or when a fight was about to occur that he didn't approve of, his sharp canine teeth flashing towards them all.
"Try me boys, I dare you."

  7. As the man seemed to get angry for her sake, the elf merely put a hand atop his shoulder, shaking her head. "Leave 'em be. I can fight my own battles if I really need to. This sword at my side isn't just for show. I just normally only use it on monsters." There was no reason for this man to get into trouble, even if he meant well for the healer. In the end, it would just make more work for her afterwards.

"If you want to defend me, the thought is all that matters. If you just want to get into a fight, we should go out into the town's outskirts and fight off some of the monsters that cause these people way more trouble than I do. It's the reason they haven't actually attacked, you know. They won't admit it, but they know I'm helpful for them. All us adventurers are. Whether it's because we kill of their predators or heal their wounds, we're a good asset."

  8. He could only let his face return to the original form, a calm, docile state while slowly walking towards the female elf beside him, nodding to her words before darting his eyes back at the people who were trying to cause this woman soo much grief. "Very well, but if they follow, I won't hesitate to defend us." He states and begins walking slowly out of the Tavern, moving at a steady pace to ensure that the woman wouldn't be taken off guard by any of the ruffians that littered this bar house, smiling faintly as they all still had the look of death upon their faces. "Lead the way then."

He says to her upon walking out when she followed, and before he had a chance to speak the sound of bells filled the air, and a large group of robed figures wandered down the streets from a large chapel like structure. "They... they look like the figures from before." "But not in red robes... strange, by the way, the name is Grim or at least, that's my username here." The blonde haired figure stated, his deep, masculine tone filling the air, his delicate jawline shaped to that of Asian origin along with his slightly broad chin and English nose and brows, giving him a handsome appearance. His avatar was a reflection of his real world self, all except for his cat ears, fangs, eyes and tail and the slight change in hair color that it held instead of his bleach blonde hair.

  9. She had willingly followed him, not expecting the ruffians from the tavern to try to hunt them down. The lot wasn't the group she'd expected at all when she felt a fight coming- but, nonetheless, she drew her sword quickly with a glare in her eyes, narrowing her sights upon one of the robed men whom appeared to have a slightly different crest on his linens.

"The name's Solaria. I have a feeling the old fogy in the center is the leader. I hate hurting people, but...Something tells me there's a non-person background to that lot. That, or their robes represent a cult that really, really finds us a problem." Before she could ask if he was ready, one tried to strike her, only to get blown back by her blade.

She was proficient with a sword, but these strangers weren't to be underestimated. Her hand moved towards the fellow that had opted to aid her, light beginning to emerge from her hand and flowing towards his weapon. Her lips moved gently, eyes mostly shut. "May fate take wing upon your blade!"

In a small moment after she'd cast holy magic into his sword to help fight off their pesky stalkers, she used the same spell upon her own, her katana gleaming a slight white despite it's normally dark tone. "I've added the power of the gods to our weapons. With their aid, we can surely beat these brats no problem."

  10. As the two trotted away towards the outskirts of the town, he knew that this female was not normal, but as they walked away from the tavern and out into the fields of Stockbon, but what came next was quite different, which made the male speak out. "Who the hell are you jokers?" "Beat it unless you want to loss your dignity." And before he could a reaction out of the group one of them charged towards his comrade and attempted to strike her with their sword, but was only faced with a counter strike, and he himself had another rushing towards him.

He sighed as the figure was nothing more than a small male, possibly a young teen looking to make it big with a group of thugs, the blonde hair Felis didn't even draw his weapon for the boy and simply dodged the small short sword this person held. He then quickly shot his hand out and grabbed the boy by the neck, picked him up and slammed him to the ground, using one of his feet to pin one arm to the ground, the one that held the sword while using his other to press against his neck.
"Listen kid, this doesn't seem like your kind of group, scram before I really hurt you."

The serpent like eyes glared at the boy before suddenly a blade was at the young person's neck, a long claymore that was upon Grims back, he held it close to the pinned victim and bent down, grabbing the short sword and tossing it away at some distance. He then looked at the boy before using the pommel of his great sword as a weapon, smacking it against the young lads nose and forehead hard, knocking him out swift before noticing his blade now glowing. "God... pfft, sorry to burst your bubble Solaria, that's something I don't believe in."

Grim stated as he stood up, walking away from the limp unconscious body behind him and standing near his comrade, going into a stance that indicated he was ready for combat, holding his great sword with both hands, one hear the guard and the other near the pommel. Holding it at an angle which forced the tip to point towards the ground and near his foe, a slouched posture that seemed to almost look pointless, but his foot work was on point, almost like he's done this before or knew how it worked, seeing how he was the person who developed this stance in one of his games.

  11. "What you believe in changes little of the way my skills work," The girl soon chimed as he returned, her bloodstained blade still managing to glisten as she hid it in its sheath. "I don't really know the lore of the land well, but I know that there's some sort of entity that gives me the power of light, and no matter what they are, I'm thankful to them."

Solaria wasn't known to give much attention to the world she played in, not when it had to do with deities and the like. No matter what game she played, she normally played just for the action. Moments like this were a mixed package of bliss and blasphemy- a beautiful battle, but an unsavory ending, too.

A soft sigh escaped the woman as she glanced at the beaten bodies of their attackers. "Still wish I knew what these lot wanted with us. But, we're better with them out for the count than badgering us. I doubt they were inclined to talk anyway."

She dragged one of the bodies towards the ones that were closer together. This way, they'd be out of the way- but preferably, able to be found by locals later on. "Shall we head back to get another drink? A toast to our victory, and perhaps I can pray that these idiots don't do something like this again while I'm at it. But a good battle makes me pretty hungry. It's my treat, kay?"

  12. As Grim assisted in taking down the group with the girl he was with, hearing what Solaria said about how hi believe wouldn't affect her power, he just stood up and from his position after dragging the unconscienced imbeciles near each other. His sword now slowly being sheathed as her words filled the air more, he rubbed the back of his neck gently before a loud crack was heard, his shoulders and neck popping from his sudden movement as he released his weapon from his hands. "Sure, I guess." "And if they do bother us, I won't go easy on them, instead I'll make them leave with a missing arm or something."

He said this as his long feline tail flicked back and forth, his entire being moving in the direction his comrade was in as he stood beside her, looking up at the sky, him being six foot three inches, he had to be at least taller than her.
"Anyways, this fight was fun, helped me gain some more experience." And like that he opened up his User Interface swiftly, quickly placing his points into the corresponding section and closed it after he was done placing one hundred points into the slash mastery, knowing more training was to be needed. "You lead, I'll follow."

  13. Hearing the crack and pop that came from her fighting partner's body, Solaria took a moment to place a small enchantment upon him to ease any pain his body might have, though he appeared pretty healthy overall. She'd made her chant quietly and was swift to heal any minor injuries she or he had before letting her arms relax behind her head.

His words lacked mercy, but they surely entertained her- and it wasn't like she wanted much in the way of mercy for them either. "I'd rather not have to do something like that. If they try to hurt you again, it'd be better to let me just kill them off. Though perhaps that'd be too lucky for them."

A slighter laugh turned into a slightly booming sound as she wrapped her arms around him in an effort to muffle her excitement that was roaring through her veins. It was a short hug, however, as she skipped ahead slightly soon after. He wanted to have her lead, after all. Where should they go?

"Somewhere simple would do just fine. Just gotta think of what you want to eat, okay? Good food, good company- a great way to enjoy a victory."

As she thought it over herself, she began to walk quietly down the somewhat bloodied road. "I hope they'll be found before they actually die. It'd be a shame to have some issues from this after making a good new pal after all."

  14. While hearkening to the words of the green haired lass, Grim could only nod and accept the words creeping out into the air, and as he was about to walk ahead of her he felt her arms around his being which made him tense up slightly. The feeling of the hug was both welcoming but also unsettling as he hadn't had one in such a long time, and to include that they were inside of a virtual world which made the super realistic sensations confuse him. "I-Is this reality... or a game?" He thought quietly to himself as he felt the connection break and watched Solaria walk before him, speaking about where they should go to after their victory with the tussle.

Grim was unsure of what to say as he trotted behind her, his felis ears picking up on soo many sounds about him, his slitted eyes viewing everything in such a manner that almost made him believe that this world was reality, but a new one for him.
"This world is real... only on a different plane of existence." He said this gently to himself, almost in a mumbled manner as his boots crushed the grass below his feet, picking up pebbles and flinging them about as he was not at Solaria's shoulder, his hand upon his chin as he pondered on what to do next, he was about to have a date, and with a cute girl even.

  15. She'd felt her ears twitch lightly, but they hadn't been quite close enough to hear the mumble well. No, they likely twitched because of various other sounds, their points regularly shivering in the air. "It's getting a bit breezy, isn't it Grimmy?" A lame attempt at a nickname, but she at least had to try it once.

"Okay even I know that sounded forced. But...You're not that grim, you know? That implies a sullen sensation, not a happy one. Meanwhile, I'm quite entertained getting to play with you. So it feels ironic, you know?"

She found a food stall's scent waft into her nose and trotted ahead again, this time stopping before it. Spinning on her heels, she made sure to face her new friend, realizing after thinking about it that she couldn't say he was a friend quite yet. Sending a request, she merely giggled and waited. "The food here is simple but tasty, it looks like. Shall we grab some?"
