Personality
In the real world, when one first meets Victoria, they might think of her as rude and stuck up, mostly because of her monotonic expression and her quite personality. It is not like Victoria doesn't want to make friends. She does. Just doesn't really know how to. Keeping up a conversation with her might be tough in the real world. She prioritizes herself. No matter how close a person is, if they ask her something that might cause her even a little bit of trouble, she will refuse to help. Many would be surprised to know that she is an adventurous person.
In the virtual world, she is different. She still isn't the happy go lucky type, but is certainly more expressive both in words and emotions. In game, she can be a real risk taker.
She won't promise to help to find a solution, but if one ever has something that is stressing them, she is more than willing to listen to them. If she dislikes someone, she makes it a point to show it, whether its from threatening or from simple verbal arguments.
Even though she likes frilly dresses, she doesn't exactly know how to move around in them. She likes cute things a lot and can get easily distracted by them. Victoria is not exactly pure minded. She picks on certain innuendo really quickly, sometimes thinking certain things that are not even implied and when she does, she gets flustered.
Positive: good listener, honest, open minded.
Negative: Pessimistic,impatient,impulsive,tit-for-tat behaviour
Biography
Victoria's mother passed away during child birth, meaning her father had to take care of her by himself. He couldn't even ask his relative for help because his only family, his younger brother, lived in Australia whereas he lived in Germany. As a police officer, he was intimidating with a strict personality but also well respected by his juniors. He knew what to say at what time and encouraging, which was why he was admired.
As a father,he was soft and sweet, always treating the little girl like a princess.Even though he was usually busy, his small gestures were enough to show he cared for her. Her father made sure to give his little daughter his time. He would always have breakfast with her and during the night, he would tell her bedtime stories. In the weekends, he would take her out for picnics and fishing trips. It was around that age when she got a passion for photography. Not only because of the many beautiful scenery she got to witness, but also because her father once told her that it was his childhood dream to become a photographer. He never did let her feel the absence of a mother. Sadly, those days didn't last long.
It was around the time when Victoria was in 1st grade. She was watching TV when she heard the door bell ring. Curious, the girl went to the front door and looked through the peep hole to see one of her father's coworkers/good friend. Confused, the girl opened the door. She noticed that he looked sorrowful and had a look of pity as he stared at her. "Victoria...your...I'm sorry"He bent down to the height of the little girl and held her tight. It turned out there was a mass shooting that took place that day in which her father died.
Victoria looked even more confused and a little scared. "Why are you apologizing Mr. Wordsworth?...where is papa?"She questioned. "your Papa..he won't be coming back home anymore..he is now in a much better place"
The girl might have been young but she was not that naive that she did not know what the man meant. That night and the days that followed, she cried. She attended her father's funeral, her uncle by her side as he shed tears as well. A few days went by, Victoria's stuffs were packed and she went with her uncle to a different country.
It was hard at first for Victoria to be normal. She had became silent and left anything that reminded her of her loss. She refused to look at a camera or go out for a nice trip. Of course as time passed by, she got better, although her personality certainly changed from her usual happy go lucky.
The uncle and niece didn't really interact much, mostly because he was a very busy business man. There were times she didn't see him for weeks, so most of her days were spent either at school or alone at home. But it didn't mean her uncle did not care for her. He was very caring and loving, just never got the time to really show it. However, whenever he did get a chance, he would try to pamper her as much as he could, listening to every story that piled up over the days they couldn't talk.
To her, middle school went by in a blink of her eye. She had a couple of friends but unfortunately, all of them went to different high schools. In her new high school, she had to make friends from scratch. Making friends proved to be difficult for her, especially after a certain rumor about her spread.
She was rumored to be a delinquent with bad grades. the type who would disrespect elders, beat people up just for the sake of it and be caught smoking and drinking. All of which was the opposite to her nature. She was a little above average in her studies(not the super genius type but still good), respected most of her elders and the only time she ever hit someone was when they tried attacking first or when she sees someone getting bullied(her uncle being the overprotective man he was, made her take self defense classes).
Naturally, people maintained distance from her. Her first year was spent in a lonely fashion. She didn't make any friends until her second year, when she decided to get back into her passion; photography. She joined the photography club where people eventually warmed up to her. Slowly, but surely, all the rumors surrounding her were dismissed and she ended up making many friends, out of which two she considered very close.
After high school, she decided to go further with her passion and turn it into her career. Luckily, she got admission in her first choice university. Only problem was, the university she wanted to join was in California. Her uncle encouraged her to step out of her comfort zone and try something new, which she ended up doing. Before she left for California, her uncle gave her a camera and also a VR set. On asking why he handed her a VR set, he said:
"Virtual reality games are a good way to learn how to make new friends. I know you struggle with making friends. Think of these games as a training for your real life social skills"
What was suppose to be training for real life, ended up becoming one of Victoria's favorite things to do. She enjoyed the virtual reality games, maybe even a bit too much. Her only complaint was probably that she could never fully immerse herself into the game. That was until she got an e-mail, explaining to her about a game called Terrasphere, which she ended up joining.
