  1. Lucia only chuckled back at his habitual response rather then being put off. It was sweet, melodious, the type of coy laughter you might expect to come from behind a folding fan at a ritzy event. It carried a measure of discernible 'class' as she shook a hand to reassure him that she wasn't bothered. "No no, I get it. We're all new here, it's hard to tell left from right. It's troubling right? Specially when you seem so far from the destination." Lucia reassured amiably, as if a social butterfly she didn't take any firmness, gruff or harshness to heart.

Being offered an escort to the destination though, Lucia blinked a few times, as if surprised, long eyelashes batting as she weighed pros and cons internally behind that enchanting facade. "Sure!" She finally answered not refusing any help through such a trying place, turning to get started along with him taking steps to match his pace as they went. "Who would turn down a cute escort huh?" She mused, a radiant smile on her face when her gaze slid up to the man's head noting his ears as she spoke. While men certainly weren't her target audience compliments like cute, handsome and the like went beyond the bounds of relationships and attraction to Lucia. Finding someone cute but not necessarily being overly interested wasn't unusual, particularly when the subject had cat ears.

"We really got ditched out here though, no notice warning or intro huh? I wonder why they couldn't start us out in town or something. Like they're trying to weed out the weak." She couldn't help sighing a little in complaint, thinking that the game developers went a little too far in their 'fun' of handicapping some players with more dangerous or distant locations. She could only imagine spawning in among a pack of wild creatures, the dread that bubbled up flashed across her face as her expression grew a little grim from the thought of 'what ifs'.

  2. While Astor was reasoning things out, ' couldn't help picking up on the man's agitation, but the reason why was infinitely lost on her. Was helping her a little troublesome for some reason? They all played this game together though, Lilianna was positive there should be some kind of roster or something that the good players knew how to find. Re-thinking it, maybe this person was on a different team from her partner? If that was true, shouldn't she do something to express her hostility? Maybe tripping him or giving him a shove back into the wolves-- But that would make her a poor sport wouldn't it? She still wasn't sure what was considered fair and reasonable in this game, she didn't wan some kind of penalty after all.

It was while she was sifting through these thoughts and worries that she heard his voice reach her. Perplexed, she wasn't exactly sure what it was about the wolves that would make finding her more difficult, but his person surely had more experience in these types of things right? "Erm... Alright, if you're sure? But you know, pack animals like this usually--" She tried to caution him, after all, typically once a pack came together to bring something down this type of chase was typically meant to tire the target out and make them easier prey. The loud barking and growling spurred them on while the pack herded it to keep it running in circles, this was valuable experience from someone who'd experienced and dealt with nature in reality. Naturally, just standing still wasn't a good idea either, but shelter was the smartest option. She'd tried to explain this, but the man had already started counting.

...Maybe he knew something different? Surely she was over thinking things she thought as she vaulted over the low hanging branch as opposed to going under. Her height would make ducking more difficult after all, and her momentum would fall if she sank her body, the force used to push herself back up would just consume her energy needlessly. She wasn't exactly a free runner to know the intimate details of these things, but she knew fitness and the body well. Her Avatar was even a rendition of her real body making adaptation easier. It was only when she was thrown the wolf cub that she began to feel everything was not so well done as she thought. Bitterness filled her stomach, even if she was clueless about games, the pack mentality was somewhat clear, he was labeled as an enemy and they were now going to focus their attention on her? She could only sigh, knowing that if she dropped it now the result might only be worse. Instead she tried to tuck it into her shirt and tighten her waist to make sure it didn't slip out from the bottom.

"Alright then, this is going to get a little bumpy little guy." She murmured as she continued trying to out pace the wolves. Her energy was going down, but she was largely oblivious to it, instead, she felt it with her body that was gradually growing sluggish as time passed. It wasn't like her stamina level in reality at all, but it wasn't as if she couldn't adapt to the change. Trying to change her way of thinking, she put herself on the top of a mountain peak and tried to treat it as if she were operating on low oxygen as she made her steps efficient. Her persistent running wasn't to try and lose them, instead, it was so she could look for the perfect tree. It was only when she finally found one that she'd increase her speed, burning energy just a bit faster before jumping up with her arms raised to grab a branch and pull herself up. With one foot slamming into the tree's trunk to help propel herself upwards, she didn't stay on that low hanging branch for long and continued to elevate herself towards the canopy. With barking wolves all around the tree's base, clawing and scratching the bark away they took leaps to try and make it higher, but Lilianna was unperturbed.

"Wolves can't climb trees." She nodded confidently. Foxes and coyotes might be a different story, but wolves were certainly unable to reach her in the canopy of the trees. "Well then little one, I suppose it would be cruel of me to toss you now... Let's see... I think I'll call you Erin. Do you like that name?" She asked looking down at the pup who only licked at her chin. It was a tell tale sign she knew, but she could only react with more bitterness as she gave it's head a soft touch. "Alright then Erin, be a good boy, For now we have to carry on through." She spoke working her way through the trees. The wolves would no doubt follow her persistently but she only needed the canopies for rest before continuing on.

  3. Vincent frowned slightly but otherwise nodded in agreement with the courtly archer's words. "Yeah, I guess they just want us to get a feel for whatever this game will throw at us later." He shrugged his broad darkly tanned shoulders to gesture that he too was complaining - if only lightheartedly.

"Or maybe the game developers are a bunch of sadists who wanna see the newbies squirm?" His lips formed into an eager toothy grin, showing off his longer and more pronounced pearly white fangs. Meanwhile, his warm amber gold eyes lit up with a gleam of wonder and excitement. "Whatever the case, I can't deny that I'm pretty damned stoked to see what they have in-store for us."

Checking his Palm Menu he began fiddling with the different app-looking buttons finding out which did what while he walked. He never lost focus of his surroundings however as he kept his ears (and nose) out for any possible threats. There were perks for being part cat it seemed - not that he was complaining, it was damned useful when coupled with his multitasking skills.

Slowing down to a stop he called back behind him to this travel buddy as his pupils turned to slits in the shade of one of the trees that dotted the landscape the further they got from the denser forest body.

"Hey - I see a trail not far from where we are, you see it too?"

He spoke in a hushed tone out of caution in case some sort of unsavory beasts or monsters decided to eavesdrop on their conversation. Pointed a sharp nailed finger ahead of him, his line of sight showed that a worn dirt path was possible to see for sharp-eyed individuals such as her and him.

And what luck the pair had, as that very path led them towards the Pillar of Light they sought with grand fervor.

  4. She spent most of her morning agonizing over the character creation screen, fretting over the most minute details, and repeating the process of fine-tuning, and then completely scrapping her design over and over. As anxious as she was to log in and get started, she had to make everything absolutely perfect. Short, beautiful, well endowed, snowy white hair, greenish/yellow eyes, and damned if she didn't spend an hour and a half on the eyebrows alone. As soon as she was satisfied, she logged in, and waited with a state of mind that could only be described as the most perfect example of impatience that has ever existed.

Her first few moments were intense, similar to waking from a vivid dream and realizing that the all encompassing reality that she'd accepted as the right and true world just moments before was nothing but an illusion, folded and torn into a thousand pieces and scattered to the wind as easily as one would shred a sheet of paper. she reflexively covered her eyes and blinked several times, clearly not accustomed to the light of a cloudless and sunny day, even if it was just a simulation.

Her second order of business was to take a tentative step forward, bracing herself for the cruelest impossibility that somehow this world would be as cold and harsh as her last, and she would be forbade he use of her legs here as well. As soon as her bare foot rose barely an inch from the ground, she froze. Panic set in, and she realized that she hadn't had to use her sense of balance in almost two decades. The long lost sensation of standing upright hit her full force, and for a moment, she thought that she may faint. It all came as naturally to her as it had when she was still a child. She took her first step in almost twenty years, then another. Any difficulty she had walking in her new body was the byproduct of her own fears however, and soon she broke into a dead sprint with a triumphant cry. The sound of her new and decidedly feminine voice was a bit of a surprise, but she was too elated to care in the least.

Several moments later she came to a stop, panting heavily and leaning against a tree with sweat and tears streaming down her the mask of pure elation that was her new face. Only now did she care to take a look at the world around her, get her bearings, and toy around with the games controls. The Palm menu, it was called. Tentatively, she raised her right hand and closed and opened it. She bounced with excitement as the games sleek UI superimposed itself in her vision over her palm, and true to her curious nature, repeated the gesture with her left, just to see what would happen. would there be two interfaces? would it be split between both hands? It simply faded and reappeared over her left, which was both slightly interesting, and slightly disappointing.

For several minutes she stood motionless leaning against her tree, exploring bages of stats, menus, toggles, and other options. First, she disabled the pain setting. 'No sense in being masochistic' she mused to herself. Next she browsed her needs. a bit tired and hungry already, but otherwise she was apparently healthy and happy. Finally, she looked over her skills to verify that she'd chosen the skill set she intended. Beginner level in everything, as expected. She instinctively knew that she was in possession of a couple beginner level spells; one that would teleport her a short distance, and another that could project a physical attack several feet ahead of her in whatever direction she was attacking.

Experimentally, she bounced on her toes a few times, and noticed her breasts for the first time since character creation. they bounced obtrusively, and she knew right away that she'd have to restrain them before leaving the beginners area. she looked down and admired them for a moment, then tentatively cupped one in her hand experimentally. plenty of time for that later though. Wouldn't do to have a strangers first impression of her be that.

'Back to business' she whispered to herself. she returned to her stance and shadow boxed for a few minutes, throwing in a series of kicks as she gained confidence. Though rudimentary, she was absolutely delighted that her body simply knew what to do. To conclude her experiment she prepared her projection spell, then feinted a series of punches and kicks, and finished by focusing the force of a simple straight punch into her spell, aimed at the nearby tree. No dramatic explosion, nor shower of wood splinters. her efforts were rewarded with exactly the kind of sound you'd expect to hear when one punches a tree, and a small mark left in the wake of the spell.

She took note of her surroundings once more, just in case, then set about tearing a few strips of cloth from the hem of her shirt to fashion makeshift fist wraps. She decided to do away with the boots she'd been gifted by character creation all together as she felt they hampered her movement too much, and suddenly regretted choosing them over the sandals that were available during character creation. Those would have been much more well suited to her combat style. If this game were anything like the dozens of other MMORPG she'd played over the years though, there would be something available for exchange or purchase in the starting town anyway.

She collected herself mentally, and prepared to set out. A glowing pillar of light off in the distance was as good an indicator as to where to go first as any, and she was quite looking forward to walking somewhere for the first time in her adult life.

  5. He'd have preferred it if he could have started with his friend, but differences in their schedules prevented the two from logging in and entering the world together. As much as he'd have loved to wait for the other, the next tentative date when they would be free at the same time was near a week later, and gods above knew he wasn't going to wait that long. Games like this...they moved fast, and he was sure as hell not going to be left behind - he could always help his friend later on in progress, but catching up to the high-levels in Terrasphere by then might take a long while.

One long character creation later, he found himself in the game's world; a stunning beauty of a landscape. He could feel the light brush of the wind against his cheeks, smell the earth and fresh grass and hear the critters that made the place their home. He was excited - a feeling he hadn't had for a long time. Not many games made him feel this way, so he could only hope it lived up to his expectations.

As usual, the first day was simple - explore, get used to the mechanics of the game and form relationships.

It was almost easy to figure out where to go next by following the pillar of light, the crunch of the others' footsteps as players made their way to the source. With the number of people he saw heading that way, it was a safe bet to follow, as it was the only lead he had at the moment. That and he wasn't really fond of getting lost and biting off more than he could chew. That wouldn't be nice, so sticking to the others it was, as much as he wasn't a people person.

  6. Aaron mingled his way through the festival. Mainly, his goal here was to just get used to the feel of things. On the one hand, he was excited at the number of people and was looking forward to maybe getting to know a few of them, eventually, but it was pretty hard for him to start up a conversation himself. Briefly, he worried about the fact that both his name and his appearance were a direct copy of himself from the real world. What would he do if he ran into someone he knew? That was pretty unlikely - he didn't really have any friends, and the few people he had who he supposed might be antagonists were the sort to join and play a game such as this.

Aaron found himself sampling many of the different offers of free food and drink. It was amazing! Exactly as if he were eating and drinking in real life! The water tasted so much clearer than the dirty water he had drank out of his faucet just moments before he logged on. Dimly he was still aware of the bruising on his face, but as he became more and more immersed in this world, that slowly faded. Possibly due to the painkillers he had taken, but still....

Aaron noticed that the NPCs behaved very lifelike. That was interesting, he supposed. He wondered just how indepth their programming was. Could something like a soul be represented just with zeroes and ones? And if a soul wasn't real, what was the difference between smart computers and humans anyway? He shook his head. He was here to have fun, not solve philosophical debates that have been around in some form or another since the days of Aristotle.

Figuring this was as good a place as any, Aaron opened up his menu and began to browse though it, trying to get a sense of what all it was and what it could do. He accidentally tapped on one of his spells, and he found himself speaking words he didn't understand, and then his hand began to glow. He quickly released the spell and looked around, hoping no one saw that. "Sorry," he said aloud with an audible shame. He started walking away slowly, engrossed in the menu and not particularly paying much attention to where he might be headed.

  7. Animus really didn't want to leave the Character Creation screen: part of it was perfectionism, trying to create the best idealized persona for this game. The other part of it was anxiety, this just wasn't something he wanted to do after getting educated about the... other full dive game. Still, it was his job at this point, and he had to let go of this anxiety that this mysterious yet seemingly innocuous game might screw him over.

There wasn't much to change about his character at this point: he made notes, screenshots, and captured video of just how in-depth this creation engine was, and decided his persona was going to be something of a rogue. After hours of tweaking and decisions, Animus Marle was ready to spring to life.

Starting the game with nothing but the clothes on your back was a ballsy move. Diving into this game was like being wrapped in the flesh of someone else: it took a minute for Animus to get used to his two inch height difference, tripping over himself in the middle of the festival like an idiot. Of course Animus was going to make a goddamn scene.

Still, once he got used to this new... body, I guess? Well, it was different. Still, being able to smell, salivate over food, feel the air on his face. There just wasn't anything like this. An's senses went out of control, and he scarfed up a sandwich in about 0.3 seconds: a new record. The new Animus wiped the sauce off his face and noticed an NPC chuckling at him.

"Hungry, eh? You must've had quite a journey."

The portly man in front of him wasn't flesh and blood, but he seemed real, way too real.

    "Uh, yeah. Thanks."

Even if he was a new Animus, his anxiety still flared up. What the hell was going on around here?

  8. She’d woken up fresh, not only refreshed by the full night of sleep before, but the excitement of delving into Terrapshere, the new VR game that she had so generously been gifted by an anonymous source. Now, there were initial thoughts of where or who the hell this benefactor of hers was, but she wasn’t exactly the type to look the look the gift horse in the mouth. Digging up some reading material, she had turned them into somewhat of a bedtime reading, managing to complete most of it before sleep claimed her. Turning it on and diving into the game, she was faced with what seemed to be the character creation scene.

An empty grey room with a random generic woman sat in a chair before her, soulless until she herself, the player put her own personal touch into the character. This would be her avatar after all, the in game representation of whoever she wanted to be in the game. With eager hands, she commenced with the editing process, her hands flying about as she touched, kneaded and tweaked each facial and body part to her satisfaction. The appearance concept she had in mind was very much based on a real life friend of hers from Norway. Fair milky skin, long golden blonde hair and sky blue eyes were key part of the concept and those she got out of the way immediately so she could move on.

This woman she was designing in front of her looked nothing like how she actually looked like in the real world. Apart from the ethnicity change, she was also given a height boost, as well as a significant increase to her bust size, giving her quite the ample assets indeed. Something that she had always lacked but had wanted to have, this game was the perfect opportune moment for it. Without thinking whether she had gone overboard or not, she went on to other things, like giving herself a good amount of curves with a good amount of muscles. Not too much, not too little, just right in the sweet spot where she liked it. The voice was an edited version of her own, sounding not quite as high-pitched as her natural voice in real life. She named her after her inspiration, and pressed the confirm button, confirming the looks of her character. With that, Britta was born.

A flash of bright white light later, it was like waking up from a deep slumber, the rays of the sun waking you up. Except, she hadn’t been at sleep, and this wasn’t the ceiling of her bedroom. She could hear the varied chirping of birds, not the cacophony of Manhattan traffic she was so used to. Her vision refocused and she was treated to a gaze of trees and leaves. She was in some kind of clearing within a forest. Realising where she was now, she began to take a step forward, then another, then another. Faster steps came, and a smile appeared on her visage as she felt the freedom of movement, something she forgotten what was like ever since the accident. Cries and laughter of joy could be heard if anyone was in the vicinity, but as far as she could tell, she seemed to be the only one in this particular spot. Her next order of business came to be inspecting her body, her hands travelling every inch of her figure as she personally inspected her handiwork. Looking down, she admired her breasts, cupping them appreciatively, before looking around once more. She was alone.

With the personal inspection done, she opened the various menus with a quick gesture of her hand, gave a quick glance through of everything. Once she was finished with whatever she had in mind, she looked towards the sky and noticed a beam of yellow light and knew that it had to be a marker of some kind. Perhaps a quest marker? With just the clothes that she had started with, Britta began to make her way towards the yellow light.

  9. Today was tiring to say the least. Working as your typical blue collared businessman sapped the energy right out of him! The only thing that kept him from going into a tirade at his co-workers was the fact he had something to finally look forward too. He worked at your typical cubicle work-space Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7 at night. So when he finally managed to get home he was nearly bubbling over with excitement! Shirking off his suit and tie, kicking off his shoes, and depositing his work case onto his apartment couch - the young adult went off to shower and dress.

Moments later he was back into his bedroom setting up his things in preparation for the game's launch. He called off for Vacation for the next week - which his Boss was so kind to let him have, so he had plenty of time to enjoy this DVMMORPG. "Yosh! Let's do this!" He whispered exuberantly settling down to begin his Dive.

    "LINK -- START!"

He felt his body and mind fall for a moment before he found himself staring at a lifeless looking doll within a pure white room. The tutorial for the Character Customization popped up which he read quickly before diving into the character making process.

He fiddled with it for hours - messing with hair length, color, style, his facial features, and so on. The amount of customization was wild and he hadn't even scratched the surface with what it was capable he felt. After a bit of pause for thought he finally got an idea of what he wanted to look like. He decided he wanted his Avatar to look similar to his real life counterpart BUT with a few cool aesthetics to add some 'flavor' to his looks.

Darkening his fair skin tone to a bronze tan, defining his muscles a bit more than his real life ones. Having his hair appear longer and more wild as well as changing the color to a more dark purple-ish black. He also changed his eyes color from boring brown to a striking amber gold. As for his left side under the fringe the inner weeb in him decided to give him an "edgy" look by having the left side of his face appear defiled. Instead of the tanned skin the rest of his body had this portion was a dark charred black, yet smooth looking like it was a perfect blend of black glass with a smooth skin-like texture. Where his eye would be there was a perfectly circular empty dim red eye.

Satisfied he moved on to his clothing deciding that he wanted oriental clothing similar to the ancient Japanese and went with Far Eastern clothing. Finally finished with what he found out was over two hours of fiddling around - he readily pressed the 'START' symbol that floated in front of him.

With another feeling of vertigo he felt the world go black momentarily before awakening with a start - his eyes suddenly bombarded with all the senses he had in real life. If it wasn't for the fact he was in the middle of a forest the newly named Mugetsu would've thought this was real life. Excitement frothed over inside of him threatening to burst out of him as he stood up looking down at himself before taking a look of his surroundings.

"Oh, right!" He said aloud deciding to first look at his Palm Menu and see all what he had going on. Laying on a nearby tree's branch he checked out everything he could about the game and it's settings (while casually taking off the "realistic pain" option) before looking out at the expanse below him. A wide fanged grin threatened to split his face as he got up and yelled a loud "YAHOOOO!" - only to jump off fearlessly towards the ground landing with a 'thud' as he misjudged his descent and promptly landed on his ass. "Oww... Ok, so I'll need to work on that landing." Sheepishly he dusted off his clothes and pulled a few stray leaves out of his hair before looking around. Adopting a thinking pose he tried to deduce what he should do first until he noticed the giant beam of light not so far in the distance. "Oh, well that looks like my next location!" Chuckling he began his trek out of the forest he had logged into and made his way down the beaten path towards the Event area.

  10. Katarina felt incredibly dizzy and disorientated as she felt her conscious mind slip, losing all sense of self as she plummeted into - what was practical - another dimension. Most people would probably be against this feeling of complete disassociation, but Katarina welcomed it. In the real world, she was a shy clutz, unable to form any sentences. Here, however, she was Katarina Akiri, the most beautiful woman to ever grace the surface of Terrasphere!

The beautiful red-head awoke among the scattered foliage of the forest. A moment of dizziness unfolded for a few seconds. Why? Well, Katarina had awoken to stare down at her body and instead of seeing her usual self... She saw something almost god-like. Gone, was her usual skinny self, replaced with a buxom and toned one. It was... Shocking to say the least.

This revelation filled Katarina with a boost of confidence, she was the master in this situation! No one could stop her... She was going to enjoy this! Even if it could be at the expense of others.

She pushed herself off the ground and let out a cute giggle, which soon evolved into something best described as "Evil and maniacal". Truly, whoever sent her that email was going to regret the day they invited this Red-Head onto the game. Her crazed laugh eventually subsided, as Katarina realized that it was weird, and no one wanted to see her like this!

After standing there for a few minutes admiring her surroundings, Katarina took a look down to observe her clothing. It seemed to be similar to one a female pirate might wear. A frilly white shirt which exposed her shoulders, tight brown jeans and black long high-heeled boots which reached to just above her knee.

So, with her excitement pushing her on, Katarina started running. Slightly nervous, as she didn't know where she'd end up, but her excitement prevailed, pushing her towards the huge Collum of light. She eventually ended up on what looked like the main road, as evidenced from the small convoy of market dealers behind her. They all seemed to be heading towards the light as well, Yippeeeeee! she thought, her lean arms and legs pumping with each running step. This was going to be a blast!

  11. [IMG]

    Day 1
So it was official, his sister was no longer just talking about this new VR game and the hype but about to log on. He had agreed to let her play, not that she'd listen even if he told her no. But it was a reassuring thing that she was willing to at least wait for him; he'd just gotten off work a few hours later so she was a bit understanding that he was still a bit groggy waking up; nothing he wasnt use to when training or working out in general at his gym.

None the less he'd make his way lazily towards the living room and plop down next to his sister; putting on his device and getting comfy he'd lean back yawning as he scratch the back of his head with one hand and installed the client; opening it for the first time. As he did so he'd note his account was already created and read up on the 1 character per client rule. Noting it and looking at his options he'd grin.

As he first entered the game, he looked about the standard gray room. The randomly generated avatar sitting on the chair before him sat in the standard plain, black underwear. Not his color of preference but he went along. Tweaking some of the things he'd mess around trying to make it look identical to himself. Although upon further examination he'd note the ability to do a scan of sorts to see the games settings.

Noting the games modifications to the avatar entirely he was blown away with how similar they looked; although they might have had a slight height difference; this was probably his fault as he tried to tone down the bulkiness of his character. He figured folks would think he was over compensating with the details and size of his build. Yet at the same time he made himself a bit skinnier; to the approximate size under 4 percent body fat. An otherwise unfathomable goal.

Once he was finished sculpting the magnicficent adonis that was to be his character he'd place a hand upon his chin and chuckle to himself,

"Well there good looking, maybe we should get you some gear and keep them ladies off you; stud. Damn Im good, I look sexy as fuck. Alright what's next..."

Skimming through the information he'd tap his chin as he looked into the mechanics of the game and the player guide. Apparently there was the Source code, a faint smile passed his lips as he thought about his fetish for short elves. Shaking his head he'd puff up his cheeks and scratch at the corner of his temple before clearing his mind from perversion and the sheer amount of detail the game allowed; such freedoms.

Never had he heard about just how free a game was; and an MMO at that. Clearly this was a work of art that had been sculpted for years. Finally choosing his skill set he'd log into the game and appear as he would; a nooblet. Walking into a wall and tripping a few times he'd finally stumble his way through the crowd; so many vets and other newbies. Unsure of mechanics entirely and not a gamer he found it very user friendly as the sheer realism kicked in.

It wasn't long before he began to scout the area for his sister; but to no avail he hadn't found her nor had she contacted him; sneaky. Either way he had named himself by his real life name; a bit of vanity but all with reason. Outside of his sister he thought it might be fun later to fight with folks or make his name even more famous as a hero. He'd heard some rumors from the news that even politics were getting into this so perhaps he'd make some friends if not investors.

Over hearing more and more chatter about how flawless things were as he took in the sights alone he'd note that his sense of touch and smell were also enhanced or included some. Smelling the fresh flowers and scents of food from stalls he grinned as he tried to figure out his inventory and check his balance; but not much to his surprise he was broke.
Yet that scrumdiddlyumptious, looking apple pie was calling his name and his inner fatty couldn't help but cry the ugly sob of a child who wanted nothing more than to dive face first into it.

"Damn it, why didn't I eat breakfast...wait why am I even hungry...can I get fat?"

While he pondered on the thought a few moments he'd get shoulder checked by a passing player who ran by, his attitude taking a drastic switch he'd shift his gaze and look for the perosn. What the hell was wrong with folks, wait why could he feel that. Perhaps he was imagining it. None the less he'd once more walk forth; such a strange and odd game but an intriguing one none the less. It wouldn't be long as he explored that he'd note a pillar of light off at the distance.

Such a bright and alluring beatuy; truly magnificent. Following the path; he'd soon find himself leaving the city like area and arriving deep into the woods. Lips parting he'd take a deep breath in; inhaling as he did so the scents of the forest became ever clear. That coupled with the slight feeling of chapped lips he'd lick them.

"Well Can't ever argue it's just a game, shits as realistic as reality. Although, I wonder if it is in all aspects....they did mention Source code; but how does that work. Maybe I'll flip throguh the guide some more. Without a leveling system I wonder how I get stronger. Doesn't seem like I just crash into blocks and collect items."

He'd chuckle some at an old but famous throw back to the games of the past. Raising up his hands and acting like an orchestra conductor; skimming past the menus and reading where he had to. Before he finally arrived now to more vendors in the middle of no where. Dressed in cloth like material he'd take immediate shine to the vendors who had armors; heavy indeed.

It wouldn't be long as he was in the heart of the outpost. It was there he'd met an NPC by the name Old Man, an easter Egg of sorts; another reference to throw backs. None the less the gentleman explained it was dangerous out in the woods to be alone; but we were among friends and we should take "this." an infamous quote even non gamers knew. This of course was the free food and drinks they all offered, allowing us to truly experience the game with all five senses as well as help us indicate the features; noting the hunger was gone and the thirst was too; lips no longer chapped.

"Fantastic, this is just the thing I was looking for. Besides who doesn't love a good festival. Thanks kind sir, if ever you need a favor, don't forget to call upon me. Aaron, Aaron Steel, brave combatant and sexiest knight alive."

He'd boast at passing ladies with a wink and a cocky grin. None the less he'd sigh some as he noted he chose some skills and was lacking a real sword and shield, let alone armor. So with this noted he'd begin his search among the festival for some sort of exchange possible to earning some starter items or clues on how to obtain it; if all else failed he'd find a party to roll with and grind out enemies to gain some money and or gear. Walking about he'd search for anyone of interest; perhaps someone to talk to or that seemed to wish to converse.

Wine in his hand, standing 6'1 he'd sip away and nod friendly towards folk. Yet it seemed like folks either were to shy or just flat out not interested. A faint sigh passed as he rubbed the back of his head, he forgot how timid and annoying gamers could be. Either egos far worse than his or so afraid to socialize in certain scenrios like this, then there was the try hards as they called them. Folks so deeply embeded in trying to be the best they weed out those who seem unworthy.

A faint sigh passed his lips as he'd shrug and say fuck it; at lest internally as he walked up to the first person he saw alone and introuced himself.

"Aaron, Arron Steele, you play games often? I'm ind of new, but this seems fun, what do you think? I'm a bit unsure myself, wonder where we get our weapons and such...sorry I'm over her ranting. Didn't mean to be so rude."

He'd say smiling as he extended his hand to greet them. Eyes analyzing the person before them. Who were they, were they enemy or ally. Could they be of any use in his climb to power or were they just another stepping stone on his way to greatness; so much to figure out yet the story has only just begun.

  12. Day 1

Seto let out "Yaaawwnn" as he stretched his arms out and put them together behind his head as his opened his eyes to this new world he had awoken to. His eyes swung to the left then to the right to see check his surroundings only to see he was in a forest. He then looked down to see his corpse, he had apparently spawned into this world laying against a large Oak tree but he also found himself only wearing some pants and boots.

"Lovely" Seto thought to himself, he thought he at least get a shirt as well but nope not his luck, of course not. Seeing dirt on his pants, he let out a small sigh before he wiped the dirt and grime off his pants and got himself on his feet. "Guess we better find civilization" Seto began walking through the forest, examining trees and anything in the forest that could bring him to civilization quicker, having to dodge branches and walking around large mud puddles. Eventually, after some walking, he came across an old campsite, probably made by another who was lost in this hell hole. "Well who the hell thought this was a good location to spawn us in?" He muttered under his breath as he began thinking if he makes some kind of camp or continues onwards. Seto wasn't exactly someone who didn't enjoy plans, in fact he hated to do anything just about without knowing everything first then acting but he didn't know where the hell he was or where there was civilization.

  13. Day One

Isabella was beyond excited. She jumped out of bed. She'd been talking her brother's ears off about Terrasphere since it was announced. A real VR game something she could get her hands on with her own money. She had saved up for everything she needed. Got it on her own and she was so happy. So when she got all ready. She put on her gear and loaded everything up. She had already set up her character she would become Isolt Veera. At least by the perameters she was allowed to use. She looked at the avatar that was sitting on the chair and she smiled. She worked on her character for what must have seemed like forever but it was the best part of most games sometimes. The set up and everything else like that. her brothers were totally gonna miss logging in with her. Not that it really matter much anyways. They were at work until later anyways and if they felt like it they would log on too.

She finished up adding and matching colors and selecting what needed to be selected for what she wanted. This was going to be so much fun. "Let's do this." She said and instantly she was logged into the game. She blinked her eyes opening them to look around her. She was in a town of some sort it looked like. Lucky she got here. She looked up to see a light shining in the distance. she smiled to herself and jumped up and down. "Oh my god this is awesome. Totally more than i expected." She was beside herself with joy and she let out a half purr to match the avatar she was no in. She checked out her hands she felt her head for her ears and about squeaked in delight when she found them.

In all this the bright like shinning made her want to get to it even more and so off she sped from where she was to explore the world that was around her. Not really looking where she was going only wanting to get to the light and get the party started.

  14. Day 1.5

It had been a handful of hours since he found that old camp but after some heaving thinking was involved, Seto decided to move to try to find some sort of civilization while stilling having daylight to burn. Seto soon enough abandoned that camp and walked for another hour until he came across a river. Although Seto was unfamiliar with the area completely, just spawning in for the first time since the beta awhile back, he knew or thought using human logic is that a village would need to be near a river to grow crops to survive unless they use some magic for that. He first looked up the river, revealing a range of mountains, most likely where the river oriented from. He doubted he find any sort civilization out there, knowing his luck it be the opposite like bandits or raiders something he couldn't deal with for now. He would need a weapon for that, something preferable to a Dai-Katana but anything would work for now the more he thought about it. Seto shrugged in disappointment as he let out a heavy exhale of air, knowing that would most likely be a long time before he gets such a weapon. Tilting his head to his right, he looked down the river from the small slope he was on, only to have his eyes light up like a fire. He looked down the river revealing colorful rooftops and some lights in the center of the town.

"Thank the damn lord, I can get out of this shithole of a forest!" An excited yell came out of Seto's mouth as soon as he saw the town down the river. He was so excited, he just couldn't waste any more time today after all he found where the civilization is and it wasn't far away. Seto scurried down the river, from the hill he was on and hurried to the town that was most likely the outpost that was supposed to somewhere in the area from what he read online. Of course rushing himself, made him almost fall on top of himself from tripping over rocks and even almost getting owned in the face by a few large branches but eventually after almost killing himself nearly a dozen times he found himself a path leading to the town or the outpost which was only more confirmed as a few other nearly nude players ran past him, running for the town. Seto was.....a bit distracted for a few moments after he saw female players run past him. He was quite surprised more than anything to see other players without gear, He had originally thought he just got the worse of luck but it turned out for his sake that wasn't the case. None the less, Seto stopped idling and began following the path until eventually the light from the town grew and grew until he was right on top of it, revealing a huge town...something magnificant..at least for now. He couldn't wait to see what a capital city would look like in comparison. No matter though, the outpost let him speechless as this was still new and something he was not used to. Sure he was in the beta but the beta was nowhere as realistic or colorful as this. Looking like a tourist, he made his way to the center of the town showing much to any new player but the most important thing at the center was the majority of other players like him, new, fresh and semi-nude or in the shittest clothes possible. If this was real life, this would be awkward at best and at worst.....Seto couldn't even imagine that outcome in his mind, it just gave him headaches. He couldn't resist though when a few female players started at him and starting giggling. Hey didn't care at all, instead, he put out a cocky grin on his face, closed right eye and winked at them.
"Like what you see? anytime Ladies." He wasn't series at the moment however, he was more worried about his current situation then getting laid, He needed to find a group, a person, information and...some new clothes and eventually a weapon in this festival. He did look around and found many of the players too confused or dazed by entering the game to do anything, He did notice a purple haired Felis girl with her cat ears. He thought of asking her but she seemed a bit too excited, taking everything in to ask.

  15. Day One

Nellie was in her own very calm way excited about the game she was going to enter when shew as doing with practice this morning. Terrasphere she hoped would be a place where she could in a sense relax but also do something to make the place a better place after all they were creating the world. She again went though her training ritual and then came out of it and walked to her home. That was how she started her day. Training and since she was all set to play Terrapshere she went right to her room and laid down on her bed and put on her gear and smiled to herself. She entered the character screen and she smiled. She was going to spend some time putting herself together. She made her avatar as similar to herself outside of game but not completely. She smiled at it when she was done and named herself Alia. That was a name that would mean a lot to her thanks to reading a few different books.

"Link Start" She said and after a few moments she was inside of the world of Terrasphere. She looked around herself made sure she had her hands at least and smiled. This was going to definitely be very interesting. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes opening them again so that they focused a little faster. She looked around her finding herself inside a forest of sorts. She slowly and cautiously moved around trying to make sure that there wasn't something around her that was going to try and kill her right now. Of course that didn't matter at the moment she would find a way around it. She looked out to see that there was a light shinning in the distance.

She took off at a slow jog to the light after all that had to mean that something like a town was out here somewhere. And whens he heard the sounds of wolves she pulled her sword and looked around her. She didn't see any of them coming after her but that never meant anything in a game. She kept looking around and started to run a little faster. It took she didn't really know how long before she had made her way to the end and a little closer to the light. She came up next to a male standing there looking around almost as clueless as she was.

"You know what town this is?" She questioned him.
