  1. Test? Another small whisper from his mind as the thoughts began to swell, and then envy filled his head as he wanted what she had, the money, and the ability to test out new technologies and ideas. "If only..." he whispered to himself quietly, dropped the subject there.

She had surprised him, already standing from her chair even as he moved to politely help her. Noted, treat her like normal, Idiot. He told himself, not exactly knowing how it is she wanted to be treated, especially out in public.

This was confused even more by the fact that a little girl had begun to scream and squeal at the sight of the girl. At first, it sounded like the little girl had just witnessed a murder, but within moments, it was obvious to the platinum haired man that it was just joy at seeing someone who the tiny child might recognize from TV. The scene of the picture and all that warmed his heart, unable to stifle a smile; a theme that seemed all too common since meeting Emilia.

He began to walk to the farside of the cab, walking around it to enter on the street side. This must be what a cheap prostitute feels like, He thought jokingly to himself. With a nod, Rayvil entered the Cab and as it pulled away from the curb and the now waving and walking away small child and her mother, he made a comment. "That was cute, does that happen to you often?" He imagined so, but it was definitely a conversation worth having, and might lead to more questions.

  2. Waving back at Lily as the cab rolled away, Emilia ordered the driver to just drive till either her or Ray told him otherwise. "Actually, I do not get out much, so no.. I tend to like to stay at home unless its required of me.. I have.. other means of getting fresh air.." Hinting at the world of Terrasphere she turned her attention to the window, seeing numerous buildings surge by as they wove in and out of lanes to seep around the mounds of traffic.

"So, what do you do for a job? You have to get money from somewhere right? I cannot imagine anyone would be able to just stay to themselves in a world of alternate or virtual reality..." Emilia knew all too well that she could not have been able to stay in the world of Terrasphere forever despite how much she wanted to, which meant that Ray could not either, right?

  3. "Other means?" He inquired, his curiosity having no bounds as he just wanted to know more and more about this woman, especially since they were going to be socializing. "Please do tell," He prodded further, guessing that they had the time as the early morning Boston Traffic began to pile up and keep the cab they were in constantly picking up speed, before immediately slowing down.

"Ah, as for my Occupation," He closed his eyes and then turned toward the window. "I am not a fancy Business superstar like you or anything. Just a uh," He was a bit insecure to say, so he obfuscated once again. "you know, Service industry. People buy stuff, someone has to make sure they pay the right amount for it." That was even dumber than just saying what it was. He laughed at her ending comment, that hitting a bit close to home. "You'd be surprised, I spend a ridiculous amount of time immersed in video games of all kinds. VR is a no maybe, but video games in general yea." And right there, was his first outright lie to her.

  4. Playing his very first question that regarded to her other means of getting fresh air in her head for a bit, she blew it off in a 'cool' reply. "Well, it is actually a trade secret of Roberts Incorporated.." At this point, Emilia was referring to the fact that she was working on a new project of hologram projection. Much like full dive gear it would be a part of everyone's mind, yet it would be a small insert in your eyes, a surgery that would cost near nothing. "Well that sort of explanation of your occupation is not one at all explanatory. Rather I find it to be quite basic of an answer as if you are trying to avoid my question. As for your immersal in video games.. Have you not tried our full dive gear yet? If so, then I can get your hands on one immediately!"

Emilia was kind of promoting the company at this point, but he liked video games.. right?

  5. "Secrets don't make friends." He teased back to her, trying harder to get information out of her, though he was starting to connect the dots himself. It was obvious what they did; develop technology, specifically, VR Tech. And she probably created a million little play spaces for herself to hang out in. I wonder if she'd like a game like Terrasphere... His thoughts drifted back to the game, wondering if she even know about its existence. Of course, there was never any way of telling, the man remembering what the email had said for downloading and playing the game.

She caught on to him trying to avoid the question, causing him to go back to stuttering and stumbling over his own words. Lots of I's, Uh's, Ehm's and Eh's spilling out of his mouth, unable to put the correct thoughts together right away. He avoided it again, addressing the latter part of her statement.

For a moment he froze, kind of like that was a dream come true, and then looked to her, his deep set green eyes filled with excitement and wonder as they searched her own violet ones, hoping to god she wasn't just joking. "Really?" Was all he could manage, trying to contain how much that string of words meant to him if she was telling the truth.

  6. Emilia leaned close to Ray, her face drawing even nearer. Her lips nearly touched his ear as she leaned closer, her voice came out in a soft whisper as she told him of the secret, "Our company trade secret.. Is what our next project will be.. We are working on holographic abilities.. The idea is to educe those who want it into eye surgery or brain surgery, we are still figuring out the just of it. Kind of like full dive in real life.." Emilia smiled faintly as she drew away. (OOC note: She smells of strawberries and ocean air)

Emilia nodded vigorously. Her voice turned towards the driver of the cab, "Take me to - - - - - - " She gave the driver her own address, and it was not long before the cab turned fully around and headed in the opposite direction. "We are on our way now." Her own excitement in his interest gave way to her somewhat bouncing in her seat. The "inner Ilya" showing slightly.

    ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
It was not long before Emilia's castle-like mansion stood before the cab as it pulled up at the gates. Her own estate was of large space. Emilia waited as the cab driver pulled to the side. She opened her door, and exited the cab, "Follow me."

She walked towards the gate, her right hand holding down her dress as she walked towards a keypad. She entered in a code and a small flap lifted. Bending down she had her eye scanned and the gate began to open before the two.

  7. Rayvil drew away a bit as she leaned in, not really knowing what to expect before she started whispering. Of course, his draw away made it so that he couldn't hear as well, so he quickly leaned back in, unable to contain his excitement for everything at hand. Emilia was certainly something else, and what she mentioned in her 'secret' was some new tech. He felt emboldened, unsure what to do with this information. He was some kind of nobody, yet this wealthy businesswoman was pretty much sharing the world with him. What did I do to deserve this kind of luck? He wondered to himself as she instructed the cabdriver to take them to a specific address.

They pulled up, and it was immediately clear to the platinum haired man where they were at. He stared in awe and wonderment as he stepped out of the cab, lost in thought and more than surprised by how today was going. I should spend more time outside. He thought to himself, as this was the first time in many days he wasn't at home playing Terrasphere, and this was already going better than some Terra days had.

Within a few moments they were walking along the grand walk way toward the house, but somewhere along the way, Rayvil stopped and just admired the scenery, completely lost at how amazing the place was.

  8. It did not take long before Ray stopped for the first time. Emilia stopped as well, grinning as he took in the sight, "Y' know.. You are one of my very first real friends in real life.. I mean yeah we just met. But I know we are already friends. You can come over whenever you want." Emilia's grin radiated through the scenic terrain of her own home. The door to the house of the mansion opened, revealing a rather skinny and tall woman with short silver hair, resembling somewhat like Emilia's. The woman had steel grey eyes, that sharpened as they landed on Emilia, however upon seeing Ray they softened. "Hello, Aunt Miranda. Meet my new friend, Ray." Emilia gave a gentle curtsy to her aunt, who gave her an approving nod. "Nice to meet you, Ray. Good to see you actually did something so far today, rather than locking yourself in your room.." Emilia grimaced, "We are hanging out today, I figured I would show him some things, not that you should permit us to go or do anything." Emilia's sharpness with her aunt did not go unnoticed by the butler who had been hanging behind the aunt, he whispered gently into the aunts ear, in which she nodded. "Well, you are after all adults.. I will be in the office if you need anything." Emilia nodded before turning back to Ray, "I can take you to our underground labs to show you some of our projects.. But first, the full dive gear! I have an extra set in my room." Without any doubt, Emilia entered the house and headed upstairs.

  9. Without trying to be rude or have any ill intent, Ray completely ignored what Emilia had said about being friends and all that. This was the type of stuff he had only expected were in movies, but it became astonishing how much the Upper Class of America, especially here in Boston, began to treat themselves more and more like Aristocrats. Within moments his awestricken stupor was broken by the sight of two new figures, Ray trying to compose himself in a more sophisticated manner, but, between the slight slouch in posture and his unkempt hair and clothes, along with the ill fitting shirt, the man knew it was all in vain.
He nodded at the woman's greeting, but was far too shy to actually come up with something to say back right away, not really sure how to respond to this situation. The small back and forth the two family members had made the man tense and slightly awkward, as he began glancing between Emilia and Miranda.

And just like that, it seemed to be over, the conversation done with. They sure are... eccentric. He noted to himself as Emilia went on about the projects and then.. the promised full dive set. Of course, what he wasn't about to tell her, is that he already had one, though it was a cheaper model and in a lot poorer condition.

As he followed her through the long hallways and flights of stairs, he began to wonder if her company was the one he bought his from.

  10. The internal roll of her eyes that Emilia had produced after her aunt had left them alone had been all too secretive. Allowing the tense air to dissipate, Emilia focused on her task at hand. Taking Ray to my room to get him a full dive gear set... But which one? Maybe one of our new models? Should I add on anything with it?? As the thoughts filled the silver haired female, she arrived at a single door at the end of a hallway on the third floor. The door was rather normal looking, matching every other door on the third floor. It was made of a brown rich wood, with a single door knob, shaped like that of a spherical handle.

It had not taken Emilia very long before she opened the door, revealing a rather smaller room. The floors were neat and tidy, there was a window seat right next to the bed, along with a desk on the other side. There seemed to be a door within her room that Emilia walked towards, "I have a show room and my real room. I would rather sleep and live in a small room like this, than the larger room my parents used to sleep in. As heir to the company, I am supposed to have their room be my room when if anyone ever tours the company, as this is our "official office"... Buut, I like this room much more. It fits me... Small yet adorable.. It feels more like home than any other room in the house..." Her own full dive set seemed to be a comfortable silver and pastel lilac color, and it sat upon her desk. After opening the door, she flipped one of the switches on the wall, revealing a rather large room. It was quite bigger than her bedroom, and inside it was filled with books and various tech gadgets. In the right hand corner, there was lights that were turned on from the switch, revealing a rather large desk. It had numerous amounts of blueprints and drawings hung around the wall. I drew all of those.... A small blush appeared on Emilia's cheeks as she kept looking at her drawings. Most of the drawings were specific blueprints and gadgets, but one was that of an ancient unicorn.

Emilia turned away from her desk and started to walk towards a shelf, going through each tech gear, "You know what? Pick anything you want in here. You can take as much as you want. I have books over there" As Emilia spoke she started to point to different spots around the room, the bookshelf being at least ten feet high and twenty feet wide. "I have all our released full dive gear on this shelf. The newer and latest ones are the farthest to the right.. I have one that is still in the making over there on the desk.. It has not been released yet, but if you want it, I can sit down and have it done in about two hours.. I have small tech junk on that shelf over there.. Near my desk is our testing product for our hologram products.. That is the only things you cannot take, as we can't let them get released to the public, plus we have not figured them out completely yet.."

Emilia smiled encouragingly at Ray, "Whatever you want, will be yours."

  11. After winding through the hallways and stairways, they came upon a door that looked much like the others in the house, having very little difference between each other, Rayvil not being able to do much in terms of identifying it above the others. However, Emilia seemed to know exactly which door was the one she was looking for, astounding Zelrius with her ability to pick out the right one. Or maybe it was the wrong one and they just didn't know yet? No, Emilia opened the door and began talking, immediately blowing away the possibility that she opened the wrong one. It was weird; the platinum haired man had expected to see an absolutely enormous Master Bedroom, but instead, saw a room that was almost extraordinarily like his back at home. Though this one was actually probably smaller than his, which was all too weird to the man. The main difference, not all that surprisingly, from her room to his, was the one that they stood in now was much tidier than his own.

Another large difference; the other door in the room, which only caused him to raise a nearly-silver eyebrow, as she opened it. She went on to talk about her parents and their room, the supposed enormous den that Ray would have though would be this room. He couldn't help but brim with questions. "Who uh, sleeps i-in it now?" He had guessed her parents, but by the way she was talking, that maybe was not where they rested now. That dark thought sent a chill up his spine, glazing his eyes over in sadness as he inspected his new found friend, wondering what it was that this young lady had to deal with in her life.

As the pair entered the next room, he couldn't help but examine and gaze at everything it beheld. It took everything in him to keep himself from compulsively reaching out and fiddling with things, but his curiosity blossomed, his eyes lighting up as he stared into each of the drawings looking at them closely. To the man, they all looked computer generated; the nice clean and straight lines and professional lay out giving that impression. "Am I, yknow," He stopped glancing around and then back to her. "Supposed to be seeing this? You won't have to like break my legs like those old school Mobster movies right?" His voice was laced with half joking, half actual concern for his safety right now.

He stood back for a moment, not immediately taking her up on her offer. The man stood slightly hunched up, clearly uncomfortable and more confused and astounded than anything. He had a million questions, not quite understanding the motive here. The man had thought that all wealthy people always acted in the interest of money. Was this a PR Stunt meant to be documented and published later? Was he a charity case, used to improve the public image of the company? And though he said none of these outloud, it made him angry. For the reason that he didn't want to be seen that way, and so he refused her offer. "I-I'm good. Thank you though." Was all he said in response, unmoving from standing under the Unicorn drawing that he hadn't even see yet.

  12. imgIt had not taken long before Emilia's own eyes were clouded with sadness. "No one...." Emilia's own voice was soft, her gaze drifted to the floor, her head hung low. Why did that need to be brought up... Not speaking her thoughts, she recalled the memory as if it were yesterday. It was the night of her highschool graduation. She had been valedictorian, and had delivered her speech flawlessly, after much practice and experience with speaking in her own "personal" life. Her family had just gone out to eat afterwards, to celebrate. They were on their way home, when the cars in front started to swerve. Emilia had been sitting in the back seat, laughing and glowing with happiness. It had all happened in a flash, one minute they were driving, the next, Mark Roberts attempted to swerve out of the way, the same time that the oncoming car flew towards them. The other driver had been drunk, and driving home. He had entered on the wrong side of the freeway when he had gotten on, causing in many panicking and swerving. However, the car that had failed to swerve in time was the car Emilia had been in At this point in Emilia's thoughts, her eyes clouded over with light tears, The night that had been so joyous had turned into pain so quickly. The harsh pull of their own car swerving along with the harsh slam of the other car into their own, caused their car to flip off the road and the front caved in quite significantly, missing Emilia's body by mere centimeters. The same could not have been said for her parents, having been crushed by the impact. The screams that echoed through Emilia's mouth that night were unyielding as she had quickly picked up what had happened. The car was on its side, yet Emilia was unable to move, her screams stopped as she had begun to just stare at the sight before her.. The car crushed in on her parents.. Blood... Everywhere. She had been too numb to realize what had happened to the other driver, but he had been killed almost instantly, his own car having burst into flames. It had not taken long for the police to arrive and force Emilia to leave the car.. Within the first thirty minutes of the police getting their, the news had arrived on scene. Trying to interview Emilia to know her side of the tragic death of the Roberts.... That night had been the worst night in her life... Pulling herself out of her thoughts, Emilia took note that her eyes were fully leaking. Her hand went up to gently wipe away the wet liquid that dotted along her cheeks, "Nevermind it though.. Let's focus on the task at hand." Emilia reached the closet, and upon watching Ray very carefully, she took note of his precise eyes landing on the blueprints, the previous sadness, leaving her body as she took on a more humorous attitude, "You know, I might have to lock you up here..." She lay a hand on his shoulder, "Do not worry, just teasing.. and I insist take whatever you want. There are no cameras in these rooms." She indicated to both her bedroom and her closet, "You will not have to pay me back, and no there is nothing in the pocket for the company if you do so, but we have enough spares, so go ahead. I insist."

  13. He instantly regretted saying or asking about it, and knew it was dumb to do so to begin with. But he hadn't known, though now that the man thought about it, it was on the news a few years ago, wasn't it? He couldn't be sure, but he did remember her last name ringing a few bells, and the popularity being explained by her business idolship. Still, the man wasn't sure, until his question seemed to spark a myriad of emotions within the girl. He felt bad instantly, his own eyes filling with sadness just at the sight of her own pupils welling up striking quite the cord with him. Once upon a time, he would have been brave enough to hug her and tell her its okay, but for reasons, some of which unknown even to Rayvil, he didn't do so, stilled by the growing embarrassment of having been the direct cause of this.

It was even worse once the tears escaped their prison and began moving down her cheeks and face, which made him take a step toward her, but his movements stopped there, feeling guilty about being the direct cause of her emotions.

And just like that it was over. Or atleast she tried to cover it up by responding with humor. So either she was a sociopath or that was just her way of moving on. Probably the latter. Now full of guilt, he didnt reject her second offer, resigning that it wqs better than arguing with her. "I uh, okay..." he moved to the desk, looking at them remembering what she said about how they were ordered. He couldnt take the prototype, so he moved a few to the left, not wanting to take the newest he could. He picked up an army green coloured one, inspecting it, the slick design screaming comfort and hightech, just holding it already felt like an improvement on the much older model he had at home. He held it up, looking to emilia with an eyebrow raised

  14. img"It suits you! I say take it!" Without much thought, Emilia sent the man a small smile. Her mind still thinking on her parent's deaths. "If that is all you want, we can move elsewhere.. But, if not then go ahead and grab some more items" It was as if Emilia's voice had called forth the small cat. A meow sounded behind Emilia, which caused her to turn around with a huge smile, "There you are, Choji!" Without much of a second though, Emilia bent forward, her skirt rising ever so lightly, revealing a rather... ecchi scene from those anime shows that she sometimes watched. (kinda like this.. minus a little bit. so about 75% of that amount of panty) It took Emilia a little while to gain a good hold on Choji as he rather seemed to want to be pet first, leaving Emilia bent over for longer than expected. She finally managed to scoop up Choji, and turned towards Ray, completely oblivious to the fact that she had flashed him, only taking note of a rather flustered pink face of her companion, "What is wrong? Why are you so flustered? Or are you.. blushing?" Emilia took a few steps forward, Choji still in her arms. (Choji vvv)

  15. With her approval he nodded and placed it back down, spinning it around so that he remembered which one it was for later. "Remind me to grab that on my way out, please." He told her, not sure if he'd quite remember if that was something he'd remember on his own. Often times, the man found himself aloof. However, that very aloofness didn't seem to be rolling through town when he turned Ilya to see her bent over, though doing what, he didn't know. Rather it was fortunate or unfortunate that at that moment was one of the few times had been paying attention to what he was looking, I will leave up to you, the reader. He saw it as a mix of both, the guilt in him intensifying, along with the now ever growing awkwardness of the situation he found himself in. The day had been jumping all over the place, and he definitely didn't plan to see a woman's underwear tonight, or any night soon for that matter.

Don't get Ray wrong, its not like he wasn't interested in that kind of stuff, but due to events in his life in the past, Ray always felt sick when he even got the inkling that things were getting a bit risque, memories of the one he lost in the past creeping up. His late-fiance and he never got terribly lewd, but it doesn't change the fact that anytime something seemed to be headed in that direction, he thought of her, and then was left with a pit in his stomach. It'd be something the man would have to come to terms with, eventually.

This was not that time though, as he quickly glanced away and acted interested in a blank part of the wall, pretending not to pay attention at all, and speaking from behind a bright red face. "Eh, we can move into another room or just h-hang out here if you want?" He didn't know what else to say, trying to keep the subject off of the cat and what had just happened, not wanting to address it at all.
