  1. Not very long after the game had launched, already, there had been an awful rumor on the net concerning a certain 'player run event' that there was apparently supposed to be bad news. Una had heard about this roughly three days ago. From what she had pieced together, the self-proclaimed ronin had gradually come to understand that there were three basics aspects to the scenario. Seated on a stump-made bench nearby a player-run drink stand, she muttered her thoughts with a somewhat troubled look.

"First. This is an 'event' being created by an outside party."

"Second. This 'event' is malicious in nature."

"Third. Time is of the essence for whatever reason."

Una sipped her tea, which was really more along the lines of norm-temp herb water. Considering a river wasn't too far away, it really shouldn't be much of a surprise that Una was the poor stand's only customer. Ordering another, the rather surprised tea girl manning the operation quickly nodded and took off running with a glass toward the river.

There really wasn't much reason to mull this whole plot over. It was fairly obvious. It was actually, kinda, already all over the web.

"A group of troublemakers are forming up to wreck havoc on something they don't really care about but others do."

The area would have to be a beginning area. They would use numbers because 3-5 level 1s could probably win against anything level three and under. If they avoided cities and attacking npcs, Terra Sphere's in place cultural word would not be disturbed and they would be left well enough alone. Like this, they could stall the player base's fun, or at the very least, be very annoying about it, because when you die in this game, you don't bounce back up as easily as the others. The motives were, apparently, supposed to be numerous things along the lines of, 'screw vrmmos, now regular superior mmos are out of fashion,' 'screw casual people games' 'it'll be funny' and probably the single unifying factor of all of them 'i'm bored.'

That was the most likely scenario, at least, according to the armchair theorist posters, and none of it went against the terms of service. How many people will they actually get though~? Una tilted her head. It's turning into some kind of weird sociological experiment or something...

And that, Una thought, was something pretty interesting.

Paying for her drinks, Una stood up and rubbed her back. It would probably happen sometime today, alls she'd have to do is wander around and see what she finds. Waving goodbye to the teagirl, Una nonchalantly followed the road away from town expecting both everything and nothing at all.

  2. Astor’s rather cranky from working late into the late hours the night before, but regardless, he endured the onslaught of nasty emotions boiling in the pit of his stomach and steeled his patience as he paced around a tiny, run-down building. With a single glance, one could see that the structure was built in the middle of nowhere. There was no sign of civilization nearby either, one wouldn’t be wrong to surmise that it might have been constructed for a criminal purpose at some point in the past.

In any case, Astor was waiting for certain players to show up as part of a devilish plan he’s been working on. Here, time was the most important factor in the execution of his “execution.” Opening his palm menu, he checked the time, noticing that he was 30 minutes too early. He wasn’t sure if any of the people he invited would show up early for a stakeout or not, but he was getting tired from idling for the past hour or so. In an effort to relieve himself from the clutch of boredom, Astor climbed the steep hill next to the house and reached both of his arms skyward, giving his spine a satisfying and crunchy stretch before he noticed a lone figure coming toward him from the distance.

“Huh?” Astor’s face conveyed surprise, he wasn’t sure if it happened to be a passing NPC, or player, or one of the invitees who had received his message out of the game, but his body was ready and alert in case a battle was to go down. Honestly, it was too hard to figure out a person’s identity in this game, one mistake and you’re just knee-deep in terrible things.

Knowing that a diplomatic approach was his best choice, Astor waited until the figure closes the distance before he called out to what appears to be a girl. “Hey,” he waved. “Apologies but are you perhaps someone who responded to my out of game message?” He went right into the heart of the issue, needing to confirm whether or not she was an NPC, if she was a player, whether or not she was someone he’s been expecting “If so, you’re kind of early aren’t you, did you not trust my intention?” he asked.

  3. Una had been following the road back and forth for about 30min before she came to the conclusion that nothing was probably going to happen. At least, with her current method. Sighing, she took a side road toward what looked to her like some sort of abandoned house where she decided she would take her rest. Or at least, that was her plan before she was addressed. Slightly flinching Una held up her right hand in a friendly wave.

"Message? Me? Nope. Sorry. Though i'm wondering if we have some kind of misunderstanding. No offense, but you're kinda coming off as fishy with that talk of intentions."

Una scratched the back of her head.

"I'd heard some good for nothings on some website or another were going to join this game and go Madmax all over the general populace of we innocent adventurers. You're not a part of that right?"

Crossing her arms, Una sighed and tilted her head.

"I guess what I mean is....should we be fighting right now?"

Subtly, Una shifted her eyes scanning the surrounding foliage. They were supposed to attack in numbers and a sneak attack was probably part of the question.

Still, to stop and talk kinda goes against what the M.O. was supposed to be. So what -is- this guy's deal.....?

    This was all very strange.

  4. Well, whoever thought the situation they were in was normal was probably abnormal themselves. Astor realized that he must have seemed like a rapist, or at least a psychopathic killer seducing a girl into going with him into a shabby looking abandoned house. He gritted his teeth a little and clicked his tongue quietly. From her response, it seemed that she wasn’t anything but a bystander hoping to get by without incident.

“No, and no,” Astor responded with an annoyed expression on his face. “look, we’re on the same team.”

After putting his profiling skill to the test, he could tell that she didn’t seem to be buying anything he said. Without much of a choice, Astor had to turn toward more dubious means to stop her from ruining his carefully crafted plans.

“No it’s not fishy…. Alright, listen, I’m with the police in real life and I am currently tracking down criminal activities in this game, alright? I would rather not use the law to compel you to cooperate, but I’m going to have to do exactly that,”

Astor got closer to the stranger and shared a piece of information with her on his panel that confirmed that he works at a police department, though he did not show her his exact precinct.

“So under the statute 4.5e section 2c of civilian law, you have to comply with an officer of the law’s orders, lest you want to put the citizens of Terra Sphere at risk,” he spoke absolute bullshit with absolute confidence. From his time working as a detective, people always fall into these police scams because they didn’t know any better.

Before he could make any progress with her, he caught a glimpse of what looked like silhouettes of what appeared to be people clad in armor and armed with dangerous weapons heading toward them.

“OI! You’re in this now,” he barked as he grabbed onto her hand and pulled her down the slope and pushed her against the wall behind the abandoned building. He hid there as he had a hand over his chest. Like that he could feel his heart beating extremely fast, feeling rather nervous as his body prepare for a battle at any moment.

“I’d rather not have you ruin this for me, so if you must know, those are scummy and dangerous player killers… I put out an ad to lure them here…” he looked at her, hoping she would read between the line after seeing a small fire collect at his palm, just so he didn’t have to spell out the fact that he was working to become the finest pâtisserie in all of Falderen.

  5. Well, it was certainly a lot to take in, especially so because Una didn't have much of an idea on what she was actually supposed to make of it. In retrospect, she was coming to realize that she had gone about looking for a fight, and that now that she was in one, she had little room to complain.

What the hell, I'll trust the guy...

    "For the record..."

Una laughed, keeping her voice down.

"People who say they aren't suspicious are typically really, really suspicious...."

Grinning, Una let her hand fall out of Astor's as she eyed him over.

"Do you usually play the bad cop or something?"

Peeking out from their hiding place, Una's eyes seemed to dazzle as she counted her opponents. She was in a predicament, but she couldn't help but feel a little excited. It was like a high-tension stakeout scene from some cop drama. Trying to reign it in, she reviewed what she'd managed to see so far...

About 7 in total, the majority don't seem to actually to know one another, so I probably shouldn't expect any teamwork from them. Big plus. 5 of them seem like roguish types too, so not a lot of hitpoints, probably not such a good idea for them to be out in the open, but then again this is supposed to be some kind of trap....either way, they should be more or less manageable.

The problems are the big knight boss-type guy and his buddy...

Amongst the more ambush-oriented types there was one rather large man in full heavy plate armor who stuck out like a sore thumb. Across his shoulder was an imposing two-handed sword that didn't seem like anything that could be found in a basic town shop. From his build, he exuded a casual confidence. Whereas the other weapon users seemed a bit more skittish in scoping out their surroundings, 'the boss' was casually approaching the meeting place at a lackadaisical pace. He clearly did his player hunting through straightforward fighting.

At his side and to complicate matters was his acquaintance, A wild card in robes. Una had read that magic users in this game were incredibly dangerous. It was enough that magic itself in Terra was capable of some chillingly powerful effects from the get go, but what made casters truly dangerous is that there is simply no way to predict exactly what and how many things one is able to do. From what little she could hear of the two's conversation at a distance, she figured that they probably knew how to work together. It wasn't a good sign.

Pulling back into hiding, Una shrugged at her new buddy.

"Right so, yeah, none of them would be a problem for me. Probably. At least, any that I can see."

Lightly blowing a stray lock from her face, she continued.

    "Except for the Mage."

    Una shrugged.

"It's one thing to play keep away in melee and try and buy you time to do something, but I don't know what I'd do if the juggernaut's friend suddenly shot lighting at me or something. Honestly, it doesn't seem fair."

Una seemed to be pouting a bit.

"Should I just go out there and do my best...?"

  6. “Bad cop?” he let out a mocking laugh without answering her question.

Astor was honestly expecting three, four at most, yet a total of seven players showed up. When he peaked out from behind the building, he even used his fingers to assist him in basic arithmetic, yet, disappointment came when he looked down and saw seven fingers. The cop let out an extended groan; this was going to be super troublesome, he thought to himself. For once in his life, he was glad that he had someone else to help shoulder his burden, even if she was a complete stranger with whom he had no prior relationship with. Per circumstance, they were partners in crime now, though, he would be wary at the use of crime. Is it really a crime if he was taking justice into his own hands and offing criminals? The end result would be a better and safer world. As a pragmatist, he was willing to forgo the consequences of the means so long as the end is worth it.

Taking a rather deep breath before exhaling, Astor calmed himself. Then, he stuck his head out right above Una to have a look as well, recording as much visual details as he could. Although the mage and the big tanky-looking warrior was not a problem for him, magic caster in the game were rather weak to speedy characters and especially characters with long range weapons. For Astor, that was five that he needed to deal with.

“I have a lot of trouble with the speedy type, they are too quick for me,” Astor replied as he thought about all of the ways rogue-like archetype can close the distance and make his magic useless, or how archers could just interrupt his spells without taking a single step closer.

“I don’t think I will have a difficult time against the big guy or the mage, so long as you stop the rogues from getting close to me,” he said.

When the twin-swords girl suggested she was simply going to out to fight him, he grabbed onto her arm for a second time, stopping her from moving. “Oi, wait, you think I came without preparing to fight a group with more than four or five?” Astor grinned devilishly.

Leaning into Una, he whispered into her ear since he knew that the group was getting closer, “I actually put a bunch of oil barrel inside the house if we can trap them inside, the fire should finish them. Just protect me and kick them back into the fire if they run out.”

A bit later, the group stopped as the big guy opened his palm menu. Astor too opened his palm menu in response. As expected, he retrieved a private message that read:

    img
    Ginn Zalas

Where are you? We are here, I brought a few of my friends, I hope you don’t mind.

    img
    Astor Balthas

Are you at the shack? Head inside, I am almost there.

When Astor heard the group approach the house, he turned and looked at Una, signaling for her to move with his eyes. Without waiting for Una, Astor began to recite a spell as he circled around the house in a sprint. “Voh adelah vasta vasnu elenweh noreh,” once he finished his spell, a ball of heat was collected and swirling inside his palm, nearly ready to explode if it was not launched soon.

Running into one of the hesitant rogue standing guard outside Astor quickly reacted and kicked him in the chest, intending on sending him plowing into the far war of the run-down shack, his lack of strength resulted in the guy falling onto his rear.

At that moment, Astor launched a ball of fire into the room. The fire was tame at first, until it started feeding on the wooden barrel until it managed to crawl into the barrel and trigger a massive explosion. In the matter of seconds, the entire room and its inhabitant was consumed by the fire in the aftermath. Blood-curdling screams could be heard as the players literally melted from the heat. Astor figured that the screams were from those who had set their pain tolerance to realistic. Even if it’s just 60%, he wouldn’t wish burning on his enemy. But this was the most effective method to delete them from the face of the earth, or so Astor thought.

Before they could celebrate, a bloody and raw hand grabbed onto the door frame, it was the big guy, who somehow had enough health to avoid an instant kill. Shortly after a sharp shard of ice came out of the shack’s door, nearly smashing Astor’s handsome face. He was barely able to dodge it. Then the fire suddenly died down as steam began to seep from the building’s opening. It seems there was a hydromancer among them. A 2v2 quickly became a 2v3, however, when the fallen rogue got up and had his dagger drawn.

“Hey, keep them off of me,” I’ll cover you from afar,” he said.

  7. "Ya really are a Dirty Harry!"

Skidding into position between Astor and the enemy, Una pivoted her body into a flanking spin and twisting with the momentum dodged past the rogue's desperate thrust. Where she was before, she now brought her right sword down in a windmilling guillotine which collided with the back of her adversary's neck.

    "Hyup!"

Flourishing her sword, she then caught and scooped her finished target as she pivoted again in the opposite direction. Following through with the turn's momentum she launched the corpsed rogue at the juggernaut with a full-force kick.

    Una wasted no time.

As the juggernaut swept his sword to bat away the obstacle, Una was already in range. Crouched low with both swords crossed beside either hip, she fired her first blow upward at the man's neck with her right. Though surprised, his discipline none the less saved him as he quickly moved his chest and neck backward letting the sword pass just in front of his closed visor. Following through, however, Una stomped her right foot to brace herself before putting the full force of her body into a thrust with her left sword. She aimed at the man's center of mass, a stroke that earned her a well won critical hit. Still, the man did not fall.

Reeling, the juggernaut allowed himself to be pushed backward before re-establishing balance. Quickly reestablishing initiative with a swinnging armored elbow, he used the won space to grip his zweihander at base and half-mast to use the hunk of iron as paddle. Swinging a full force homerun, the man sent Una flying. In the air, Una could almost -feel- the man grin behind his obscuring visor. As he leaned over, Una grimaced, there was an ice bolt flying just over the shoulder of her target's crouched form. It was flying right at her face. A perfect combination attack.

    "!"

Clenched teeth, Una swung both swords in a diagonal cross to deflect the bolt only for it to explode in repercussion. Still in the air, she flew further, faster, and past Astor, to collide with a nearby tree. Coughing, Una tried to shout a warning, but it really wasn't necessary. Capitalizing on his friend's teamwork, it wasn't hard to see the massive armored figure charging in a lineman's blitz toward her partner.

Una struggled to stand in defiance of the pain and rime.

    She -had- to.

The alternative was so much worse.

  8. The previously described 2v3 quickly went back to a 2v2 as soon as the Kill Bill girl killed Astor’s bane and kicked his corpse at the bear of a man, most likely a midget in real life feeling the need to appear big. While he couldn’t exactly criticize the guy since he made himself slightly taller in game than in real life, it wasn’t an extreme case, therefore it doesn’t count as a hypocritical situation right? But while he stood around in the back and having a battle of wits with himself, his companion was getting battered. In fact, by the time he noticed her being hurled through the air and the mage behind the juggernaut getting a hit in, he started to feel bad. Maybe he should have been more attentive and supportive, but the Astor that battled with him in his head was far more interesting than a dirty scrimmage like this.

Looking at the girl, who is now adorned in adorably-fitted bark armor, he let out a quick sigh as he approached her from behind and tapped her shoulder. “Switch,” he said as he made his way past her, heading right for the two opponents

As his demeanor changed from his signature laxness, he entered a staring contest with the juggernaut, who visibly became provoked as he charged directly at Astor with his tool of overcompensation intending on swinging the phallic symbol at him in all of his rage. Considering their position, Astor knew that there was no way the Hydromancer behind the brute was going to hit him, which allowed him to quickly and accurately recite an incantation without opening his spell panel.

“Hastur vash sha’analath deo morey hvar taj!” Astor ended his spell with an upward shift in intonation before fire began extruding from his body.

In that moment, he quickly turned around and made a mad dash in the opposite direction, nearly tripping over his own feet. This deftly-performed movement created a trail of fire that the juggernaut was forced to eat every inch of Astor’s own symbolism of overcompensation. Considering that the large man charged at him, the law of physics dictate that the large mass should not be able to stop himself from running through the entire line of fire.

    DC10

    Thrown die:
    3

Unfortunately, the brute used his momentum to quickly roll side-way into the ground, extinguishing what little fire damage Astor was able to inflict on him.

Despite all of the cool composure he managed to retain up until then, Astor was starting to break into cold sweat.

Fucking shit, he thought to himself.

  9. Una couldn't be sure, but she suspected that she might have actually blacked out for a few seconds, that, or it was some kind of stunning status effect that was all part of the game. Feeling the damage, she quickly decided that there was no functional difference, especially so, considering the predicament she was in. Currently, she was covered in chunked shrapnel from the trunk of the rather large tree that had been her inopportune cushion. She pushed away the leaves and other refuse groggily but there were still a number of stray leaves and twigs caught in her hair.

    "ngh~yeeessh"

Una rose on wobbly legs, her vision swimming. To counter this, she tried closing one eye, not that she was sure this would actually do anything, but she'd seen some characters do this before in movies. She figured it couldn't hurt to try. To her credit, she was managing quite well. Assessing the situation, however, caused her to grimace. Astor had managed some kind of saving throw, but the grace of it was largely absent. He was starting to appear to her like some kind of small-dog-type dragon that yipped fireballs while otherwise running about. The important thing, though, was that it was working. So she wasn't one to judge. They were both still somehow alive.

The problem, however, rested in deciding what exactly she was supposed to do. She wasn't very well immune to the spread plumages of fire, though then again, neither was the man who had been unable to stop himself from charging headfirst into a wall of flames longwise. For however brief it was, the damage of this entire battle was beginning to add up on their implacable foe. Though he himself would not seem to ever slow down, his body was still breaking down from the strain. As the berserker once again began the same play of bull rushing her magus friend, Una decided to gamble on her speed. She took off nearly the moment the enemy did.

Two figures, a wall of flame of between them, running for their lives, both acutely aware of the other's presence but none the less spending not a single glance on anything but their goal.

    I -will- intercept him.

At the end of the flame wall they both swung their weapons, Una's two swords went to meet the man's incredibly strong one handed backswing. Refusing to be pushed away again, Una forced a bladelock by scissoring their weapons and with all of her mustered might still in motion tried to push the man off course. Like this, they ran against each-other in one long extended collision. The battle at this point was beginning to look comically desperate not unlike a grappling floor battle of a mixed martial arts tournament. Where anyone but an aficionado might find themselves changing the channel. Even so, these desperate moments were usually the ones that decided things between two otherwise relatively equal opponents.

At last, the man roared an expletive before using his second hand to complete a turning, sweeping stroke. Una was ready and held fast to her lock sliding and pulled him back along with his swing. Sliding in the dirt road, at last they stopped on the trail in a flurry of dust. Una couldn't help but grin.

"I don't know who you are, but surely, it's moments like this that you strive for. Am I wrong?"

Una was in a precarious position, her back totally exposed to the enemy magus who, she was sure, would be catching up in a few precious moments.

The berserker, however, was in a similar situation. Astor was only just down the road only--- the moment he turned to chase the mage, Una would have a clear shot at his exposed back. The man rolled his neck tapping his large blade on his shoulder as if in contemplation before assuming a proper low-guarded stance.

Una crouched into a stance of her own: her left sword almost in a sort of fencer's neutral, her right poised like a scorpion, ready for any advantage.

Una opened her second eye and with a expelling breath advanced.

Closing the distance, they both swung their swords into one another with a deafening clang.

  10. Astor can’t describe the kind of battle he’s watching. As a cop, he was trained for functional combat, i.e. combat without glamor, but the most optimal for most situation. Whatever the situation may be, he was glad that someone like Una had shown up, because he doesn’t think he could fend off the entire group of PK’ers himself. In hindsight, it was a terrible decision to bait danger, because danger was exactly what he got.

Seeing how his newfound companion was barely holding her own against the nearly dead brute, Astor had to think quickly, he can’t exactly let the battle go on, because one ice shard from the enemy mage on the other side of the wall and Una’s dead meat, or is it frozen meat? That aside, they were in a big pinch, which meant that Astor better get serious soon or the next time they wake up, they are going to find themselves in the discounted meat freezer.

Standing up from the ground, Astor opened his palm menu and accessed his inventory before he produced a grimoire out of nothing. Once the stack of paper materialized in his hands, he began to shift through the pages, searching for a spell to get them out of the mess they were in. Although none of the spell had that exact description, he picked the closest one.

“Sorry friend, but in order to save you, I need to put you in harm’s way,” muttering quietly to himself, Astor made up his mind on what he was going to do and began the spell casting process.

“Ven’a olhaweh zynastra velo elah guinz noryn”

It only took a few seconds after he completed his long chant that the area above Una, the mage behind her, and the berserker to darken as fire balls hailed down on the three without distinguishing friends from foes. The first two flame balls scored a direct hit on the ice mage, and finished him off since he was already reaching the bottom threshold for health. The next few missed the berserker, unfortunately. The one time it did hit him, he simply shrugged off the pain as he continued to be absorbed in his fight with Una.

Seeing this spell in action, Astor made a note to never use it unless it’s against a target with an incredibly large hitbox. Regardless, since the ice mage died, and he managed to hit the berserker once, he stopped the channel and switched to a different stance. Clearing his throat, he focused on his chant, to make sure he was getting the spell correctly since it was his first time reciting it in game.

“Nahz agula ventis ofos meludiah aluda veh daliih-ah shit!” Although he was so close to reciting the spell completely accurately, he fumbled toward the end, which resulted in the energy gathering in his hand fizzling into oblivion.

Willing himself to concentrate, Astor pressed his hand against the papers and started the incantation once more. “Nahz agula ventis ofos meludiah aluda voh daleah!!” This time, Astor got the incantation perfectly, although it did take a while, he could only hope Una could hold out until he was able to get this spell correctly.

Gripping the fiery short spear that formed in the palm of his hand, the blond man hurled it at the berserker, praying for some kind of closure so they can just high-five and hit the bar or something. The fight has taken so much time and effort from them that he wasn’t even sure if justice was even worth the effort on these basic goonies and a big bad.

    @Una Cosmos

  11. "Eh?!"

    An explosion.

    "Ehhhhhhhhh?!"

    Make that two.

It had all happened in the blink of an eye, which had left Una reeling. For all intensive purposes the fight was now over. Just. Like. That.

    Mages are scary...

Though largely acting on instinct, Una tried to remember how exactly it had happened.

First, like some Kingdom of Heaven night battle movie scene, a flaming cargo had momentarily flown over her head (and since there was not yet an ice lance in her back) Una risked assuming that it must've put the enemy mage out of commission. Momentarily somewhat blinded if not a little deaf from the point-blank firework-like explosion, she managed to notice in her confusion that the swordsman in front of her was even more the worse for wear.

So second, she pressed forward with a squinting flurry of blows to which she was somewhat surprised the man managed to deflect. Even so, the man was off balance...

"Sorry, but mages were your idea!"

As the man threw a haphazzard swing downward toward Una's voice, she locked blades with him once more by crossing hers in an X, then, with what was rapidly becoming a trademark move, Una delivered a fierce kick which to her surprise......

Caused the man to explode. Or rather, third, her ally had throw a rather risky flame-javelin-thing that could have easily netted him a well-done Una.

"Really guy? Don't singe the hair! Nearly gave me a heartache jeeeeez..."

Sheathing her swords, and trying to slow her breaths, Una placed one hand on her hip and rubbed the back of her neck with the other.

"So it's over now, right? I could use another river herb tea...."

Looking over at Astor, Una sighed before revealing a tired smile.

    @Astor Balthas

  12. Astor witness as the girl escaped a near three-way Sunday roast. Thankfully, luck was on her side and the flame javelin missed, barbecuing the giant brute who has been wailing on the tiny girl like some kinky videos he has seen. Once the battle was over and the intensity of the situation dulled, Astor wiped his brows and let out a heavy breath of relief. He was tired and conflicted as to why he even put this much effort into ridding Terrasphere of scums of the earth when they can easily come back like it was nothing.

Looking over at Una, who was visibly upset at him throwing some heat her way, he smiled and played it off. "Oh come on, look at how skillful you were at keeping that brute down! You were practically the skewer to my grill and as a result, we got a nasty-ass pile of burnt meat here, and there, and over that way," Astor laughed as he approached Una before he extended his hand and patted the head of the shorter girl.

"You know, as much as I would like to thank you for, uh, helping me out with this, I don't have much time left," Astor said after he opened his palm menu and checked out the time. It was getting pretty late in real life, which was also evident by the setting sun over yonder.

Although Astor could just log off and the chick would be none-the-wiser, he decided to take the less asshole-ish of the options available to him and initiated a barter window with Una, giving her a box of insta green tea he had found in a pirate mini-dungeon nearby.

"Here you go, I heard it's super delicious. You just need water and voila, you just saved a bunch of money on having to buy gourmet tea from those expensive places. See ya around!" Astor chimed as he hit the logout button, pumping himself up for a long cooking session in the real work.
