  1. I'm just being a nutjob for this RP and going Unarmed - Berserk - Guard, more or less foregoing armor and weapons. I'd image Berserk and Guard will help immensely for defenses, so perhaps it's more of a DPS/Tank or Sub-Tank role? Not entirely sure what the plans you guys have for Berserk are in its entirety. Yep, big shirtless brawler.

  2. Living on the edge. It's kk me too man.

  3. I'm living on the edge, but once his health dips low enough it won't matter cause everything will just get crushed into oblivion from the power boosts~ I will still insist I need healing doe.

  4. Genji, is that you?

  5. Merakab is going for dark/demon/occult spell sword with a touch of tank.
Malefimancy: Dark elemental magic attacks, debuffs, draining, and aliments.
Demonmancy: Stronger dark elemental magic attacks and demonic creature summoning ability.
Polearms: Long reach and wide swinging weapon, mixed with the other two magics to imbue her attacks and add fun stat aliments to them.
Light Armor: Going to actually build this more than a mage probably would. Want her gothic dresses to be as damage resistant as possible.

Not saying all this is possible but it's what I'm hoping for lol.

  6. Magi Heart is going to be that really annoying distance, support , and evil killer based character. Healing, buffs, interference attacks, and anti evil skills. Just a pain in the ass that you have to work to catch lol.

Illumancy: Pretty much what most holy users will use it for. Healing ,support, some damage, and turning undead enemies.
Arcanamancy: Mixing with Illumancy and her arrows to add lots of range and more universally effective enemy hindering attacks. Adds a lot of bang to her otherwise less damaging stuff.
Ranged: Combining the other magics with her arrows makes lots of weird stuff. Like arrows with barriers around them and arrows that actually heal or explode with mana.

Again, that's my aim with her at least. Will see if it works out that way.

  7. Kessler's full tank build;

2h Bludgeoning for weight to blow mobs away from the back line

Guard to combine with bludgeoning to beat back the bigguns that'd sweep a shield user off their feet

Geomancy for gravity based CC and Earth armor to increase his health threshold with Temp health as well as weight buffs to support the previously mentioned blowing and back beating.

It's all synergy people, gotta make them work together.

  8. My build isn't exactly what one would call 'optimized', so I'm not going to suggest it to anyone, but I played FFXV recently and was really drawn by the main character's dynamic fighting style.

So the idea is to start with:
1-h slashing weapons (main source of damage)
Ranged attack (this will make more sense later, but for earlier stages it provides an option for scouting and long ranged attacks, later it can be used to throw your attacking weapon to chain combos)
Guard (Primarily for defensive reasons to survive the first part of the game)

On its own these skills give you some good core damage/defense to start with as I get an idea of what works and what doesn't so I can adjust my plans before buying in fully, but if things go well the next skills in order are:

Astramancy: The ability to teleport, and move around the battlefield alone make this worth it, combined with a physical fighter will make it extremely hard to deal with, the issue is the stamina drain but taken at higher levels that should be less of a problem. Since you have a free hand due to taking 1-H slashing weapons you can still pick up a focus.

Then finally spell-bane: Magic/AoE are likely going to be the hardest things to deal with, and spell bane is the perfect fix, the touch based range doesn't matter after a few successive teleports. That said there is the issue with it given the fact that it has no effect on spells with a higher mastery than it. Which is huge because it becomes a giant stat dump, because of this, it might be better just to dump it and add a defensive magic or illusion magic.

All in all I think this technically can work, eventually, but pound for pound MP there are going to be way more effective builds out there, but hey, it should at least be fun.

  9. I have a guitar. Need i say more?

Basically, I love playing bards, and during character creation i was torn between taking rogue and taking Geomancy. I went the rouge choice because frankly, being a character that lives both in the shadows AND in the limelight seemed like fun.

I've been planning my next character with far more detail, but that comes later

  15. I can't decide on my next mastery, I have it down to leather working, and alchemy.

    Gonna roll a d100, 1-50 leather working, 51-100 alchemy
